Aardig personeel, kregen een welkomstdrankje. Wat er fijn was, gezien de warmte buiten. De airco op de kamer was dus erg lekker. Het was er erg rustig. Fijne locatie in het fort, net buiten de drukste straatjes.

The owner was so welcoming. The place had a very friendly vibe. The location is perfect - right in the heart of the fort but also down a quiet street. The bed was so comfortable and the A/C in the room was very good. The room was also very clean. We also had a cute small outside space from the room.

The bathroom gets quite hot but that wasn’t really an issue for us

We loved our stay at Fort Thari Inn! The room and bathroom were spotless - super clean, spacious, and with a big, comfortable bed. There were also lovely scents everywhere, which made the whole place feel extra welcoming. As a bonus, we had a small terrace connected to the room, which was such a nice touch. The location is honestly incredible: tucked away on a quiet alley inside the fort, but still close to amazing sunset spots, great restaurants, shops, and historical buildings. Special thanks to our host, Ranjith, for making our stay so great and for helping us feel comfortable throughout. He even helped us arrange laundry service at a great price when everything else was closed - such a lifesaver.

Location was brilliant, right in the heart of the fort, 10 to 15 mins walk to the station and in to Galle Town.

Host was very friendly. Iced tea served upon entry was extremely refreshing, also there is a facility to fill water and use the fridge

No option of breakfast(chargeable or otherwise). Also, TV wasn't working.

The most comfortable bed, not just the best in Sri Lanka but better than mine at home. Location was excellent and so quiet to have a good nights sleep after a busy day exploring.

Amazing room and staff

Host is very friendly and caring. Stay is in the heart of Galle Fort.

However everything was fine, good price and location, friendly staff.

There is no balcony in the room so description id not correct

The room is advertised with balcony. There isn’t a balcony but a bay window that faces a wall 2-3 feet away from the window. Hence advertising that it offers a balcony, one would expect a view & would not mind paying the extra. Only to discover that it’s a bay window facing a wall! Very misleading. Also the bathroom shower door could not lock hence making it difficult to shower with the shower door in the way.

Great location inside the fort down a side street. Room was comfy and well decorated. It was quiet and the owner was really nice and helpful.

Calm hidden street, nice room and just around the corner u have the best eating spot! Lucky Fort restaurant.

Adsthically eyepleasing room! The owner has a good choice of room decoration and you feel like every penny is worthy. There is a cozy corner mainly a balcony area which mimics rainforest vibe you will love it.

Добрая лакацыя: у самым цэнтры форту. Чысты нумар. Ветлівы мэнэджэр, які шчыра клапаціўся аб нас: пачаставаў халодным чаем па прыездзе, даў бясплатна бутэльку вады, пазычыў парасон, калі пайшоў дождж. У нумары ёсць чайнік і гарбата/кава.

Гасцініца знаходзіцца ў цёмным куце. Вокны пакою выходзяць у цёмны двор-калодзеж. Была слабая гукаізаляцыя (ноччу чулася як працуе вадзяная помпа). Тэлевізар не працаваў (не было сігналу, але для нас не было праблемай). WiFi працаваў вельмі марудна (а мабільны інтэрнэт у межах пакою таксама не лавіў сігнал).

We stopped by the Fort Thari Inn briefly to relax a bit before our return flight. The room was very clean and exactly what we expected—simple, quiet, and great value for money. I’d especially like to highlight the personal touch and service: we were greeted very warmly, and the airport transfer was perfectly organized and arrived right on time to the minute. The location is also excellent: on a quiet side street right in the heart of the old town. Thank you so much for such a relaxing end to our vacation!

De kamers waren ruim en de ligging in het Fort fantastisch. De host heeft mooie batiks aan de muur hangen en we waren daar erg in geïnteresseerd. In Galle konden we die nergens vinden, maar onze host is ze persoonlijk gaan halen bij de neef die ze maakte. Geen aankoopverplichting, maar wij hebben er twee als souvenir meegenomen. Blij mee!

In een van de kamers (we huurden er drie) was er wat geuroverlast wanneer er water gebruikt werd. In de andere kamers hadden we daar geen last van dus misschien even pech gehad.

I had such a wonderful stay at Fort Thari Inn. The hotel is located in a great spot and very close to shops, cafes and most importantly the beach. The owner is such a lovely man and he always greets you with a big smile. He even helped me to plan my journey to Negombo. The room was beautiful with a big comfortable bed. Fort Thari Inn is one of the best places I've stayed in. The Fort area is stunning with beautiful laneways and amazing architecture. Thankyou so much for such an amazing stay and for the welcoming drink when I arrived. My stay was perfect. I highly recommend staying here.

The room and the bathroom were clean. The owner was very kind. For a couple of days is fine.

Air conditioning, hot water and WiFi weren’t working. I couldn’t even use data internet connection inside the room. The room looks old and it’s not nice. Not worth the price.

Really clean and comfortable bed. The host was very friendly and helped us with anything we needed. Nice big bathroom. Right in the central of the fort so it was easy to get to any shops or restaurants.

Had a excellent stay at Thari Inn , it is within the Galle fort so very easily accessible to all the attractions, and the place is in a very quite neighborhood. The room was very cozy and clean, and excellent for a good nights rest. And Mr Ranjith was an excellent host, had a great stay here , would visit again.

Initially disappointed with exterior, down a small but convenient alley, but the interior was very cozy.

The room was fine. It and the ensuite bathroom was clean and had all the facilities that I expected. The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of space for storing clothes and other personal items. The Inn was central to Galle.

More information that the Inn was down an alleyway. Maybe a map from the owner would have helped. The room was dark. There was no natural light. There was no food at the Inn so maybe some information about nearby places to eat.

The location is perfect and easy to find (down a quiet street) with local homes. Thari Inn is very nice, clean with a wonderful, attentive host. Since the Inn is located in Galle Fort, you are in walking distance of many shops, restaurants and beautiful ocean views.

The internet was on and off. Usually off in the morning and mid-day.
