La localisation était parfaite, et pour une famille de 4 c’était très bien nous avions beaucoup d’espace. Le personnel était vraiment gentil et à l’écoute, toujours disponible.

We had a great day! We had one large room and two smaller rooms for a family of seven. We had everything we needed in. The staff was very accommodating and lovely. We would definitely return. We love the breakfast that was brought to our room every morning and the treats and drinks left on the table when we arrived. We also loved the location. It is very walkable and close to the Trevi fountain and some great restaurants and shopping.

The thing that makes the hotel good is the lady on the front desk and the location but there are some weaknesses. We were in room 31 which unlike other reviews was nice and quiet. but largely because it only had small windows into the internal spaces. It looked nothing like the images on the reviews and a number of the furniture items and kitchen areas were chipped and a little tired looking. The decor is OK but a little ikea. The breakfast is forgettable and we only got an order form for it on 2 days out of 3. They claimed it would change on each day but it doesn't. On day two the coffee machine didn't work so we got warm filter coffee and I had to ask for a spoon on each day in order to be able to each the yoghurt pots. They claimed the mini fridge was complimentary and refilled but we had to go and ask for more bottles of water. The location is great even if the alleyways to the hotel are a little grubby but at 500 quid a night I wouldve expected a LOT more.

We took a local cab (€55 cash) from and to the airport. The welcome in the Palazzo and the location had been outstanding. We used it as a starting point to experience the city with its historicale sites and outstanding food. We booked a room and got 301 on the 3rd floor. Despite being next to the elevator it was quite and okay. A little dark inside and no view but for our purpose acceptable. Breakfast was for German standards not sufficient but to start the day with a coffee and a croissant okay. The concierges had been extremely helpful and they gave practical tips. Getting to Ostia with a 10 minute walk from the hotel to the Metro for €1,5 was one of the good suggestions. Personal conclusion: recommendation, great location, spotless room, friendly and extremely helpfull staff, forget the breakfast

I stayed 2 nights before the cruise. The hotel was around the corner from the Trevi Fountain and walking distance to the most places. The room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. Easily the most spacious hotel room I have ever stayed in Rome. The breakfast was delicious with fresh made eggs on demand. When I had an issue with the Uber to the cruise port, the front desk immediately got me a taxi. Great room, nice staff, delicious food, great location!!

Traveled to Rome with a friend who has been several times before in May 2025 , and we stayed at Palazzo Scanderbeg. An absolutely wonderful property. It’s in Trevi, about a one minute walk from the fountain. It sits on a quiet street about a block from the chaos. Never had a problem with noise or the crowds. The front desk staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. Every morning a sweet little lady brought coffee & breakfast to our room. Beds were comfy and the room was huge. Our transfers to and from FCO were arranged by the hotel. The property is lovely. Very old Italian, full of character, and its history is fascinating. Location is very central to everything in Rome. Easy walk to most landmarks in the city, takes about 30 mins to walk back from the Vatican. I’ll be traveling to Rome again with my husband in late September 2026, this will be his first trip to Italy. So excited that we’ll be staying at Palazzo Scanderbeg again, this time in the Annex.

This hotel was amazing. It was like having your own little apartment in the heart of Rome but with hotel service! The room size exceeded our expectation and the staff were very attentive and accommodating. The location is exceptional being 100m from the Trevi fountain and close walking distance to most iconic landmarks in Rome.

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and very spacious! I felt very pampered as everyone was ready to take of everything from stocking our fridge to fresh towels and beds changed and made!! We even had as delicious breakfast served in our apartment!

The space of the rooms are magnificent comparing to others here, service and location are perfect! People are very helpful especially before and after the check in too, managed to have an early check in and also nice service after i check out, luggages, water and gesture on check out day late time! Appreciated

Recently stayed here post-cruise for a night before flying home the next day, and we absolutely adored this special place! We experienced friendly hospitality from the moment we arrived early with a kind welcome and luggage storage while our room was being prepared. Our room was large and comfortable with a complimentary mini bar and breakfast that included freshly squeezed juice. It’s tucked away around the corner from Trevi Fountain and surprisingly quiet given how close it is to the active streets. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at an eatery just steps from the hotel as we took in the atmosphere that only Rome can provide on a nice evening. Will definitely keep Palazzo Scanderbeg on our radar for future visits to Rome!

We stayed in the Scanderbeg Suite, it was beautiful, very large and had a cute terrace. beds were comfortable, food was good and service was outstanding. It was in a great location, off the main streets so it was very quite, with a wonderful restaruant next door.

Uber could not find it so we had to drag our luggage thru central city.. so next time I will have the hotel arrange for an airport pickup.

Einzig die Zimmerbeleuchtung war für meinen Geschmack etwas zu schummrig. Aber das liegt vielleicht an den sehr hohen Decken. Das ist aber auch wirklich das einzige, was ich bemängeln könnte.

Loved the size of the apartments/rooms. The bedrooms were large, and we appreciated the large commons spaces. The foosball table was a hit with our family. Location of the property is also great. Front desk recommended several very good restaurants.

While we appreciated breakfast being delivered to our room, the quality of the food was just ok.

We absolutely loved our stay at Palazzo Scanderbeg. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. The location is fantastic—tucked just far enough from the bustle to feel private, yet close to everything you'd want to see in the historic center. Our suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and so thoughtfully equipped. We especially appreciated the little details that made it feel more like an elegant Roman apartment than a hotel. The mix of historic charm and modern comforts was perfect. Breakfast was lovely each morning, with fresh options delivered right to our room. And the staff truly went above and beyond with recommendations and helping us make the most of our time in Rome. If you're looking for something special, personal, and memorable in Rome, I can't recommend Palazzo Scanderbeg enough. It's the kind of place you want to tell all your friends about—but also keep as your own little secret!

This place was exceptional. We stayed here in April when arriving in Rome, and loved it so much we booked it again for our last night before leaving Italy. The property is nicely updated and well maintained, and the location couldn't be better. Not only is it around the corner from the Trevi Fountain, and walking distance from many sites, but there is conveniently a laundromat across the courtyard! We would stay here again.

Had a fantastic experience at Palazzo Scanderbeg - location is perfect and the room was above and beyond. Room was very spacious, we were traveling with our 10 month old and they were able to provide us with a crib, overall we were very comfortable here. We got breakfast delivered to the room every morning and it was delicious, a great way to start each morning before exploring Rome. The location of the hotel is ideal for walking around Rome, it’s not on the main stretch but only steps away from the Trevi fountain. The staff is also very helpful and accommodating, really added to the experience. You will not regret booking this as your Rome hotel!

This hotel, located literally 1 minute from the Trevi Fountain, but on a quiet side street, exceeded every expectation for our family. We are a party of 6 and we stayed in a room that slept 6. It was fabulously appointed- 2 bathrooms, 3 TVs, kitchen and dining table, fooseball table, balcony.... The fridge was restocked daily with complimentary snacks and drinks. Our kids positively loved this easy access to snacking. Breakfast was provided each morning, and was brought in and set up in the room for us. Eggs, pastries, cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice.... delightful!. The staff were incredibly kind, professional, helpful and accommodating. They arranged our to and from airport transfer. The location is a major plus. We walked all over Rome from here- to the Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, and the Vatican. Our kids thought this was the best hotel we ever stayed at and for the reasons outlined I would tend to agree. Its small (11 rooms I believe) with a couple of larger suites like we had, but it is certainly full service. I feel it was good value for what we received- cost was about the same as what we paid for 2 basic rooms at the airport hotel at Heathrow a few days prior....

We booked Palazzo Scanderbeg after the fantastic past reviews on TA along with its location and availability of a two bedroom suite/ apartment. We checked in to the two bedroom two bathroom Scanderbeg suite. On this occasion I would like to list the pros and cons: Pros Great location near all the main sites and just 2 minutes walk from Trevi fountain hidden on a back street Helpful and friendly staff Comfortable beds Nice balcony and sun trap after 10am Lovely touch with cake and bottle of Prosecco to celebrate my stepsons birthday Cons Rushed check in, ourselves and another family turned up at same time. Reception lady bit flustered. Shown our apartment. We didn’t even realise we had a sink in the kitchen until day 3 The plugs in the sinks in the bathrooms do not close off so you couldn’t have a sink of water to wash your face Apartment cold when we arrived. Wasn’t shown how to put in heating, worked it out ourselves and two of the three air con/ heating units didn’t work. Called maintenance who got one working and we were told the other would work later Just one mirror in whole apartment, none in bedrooms for ladies doing make up When using English plugs in adaptors, they do not always stay in the plugs Toaster didn’t work last day, had fused, again didn’t know where to sort out Pressure is very low in the showers. Nice shower units but almost need to move around to get showered properly Heated towel rails not working. Not told how to put on Two of three TVs not working. Remote controls had to be charged apparently. Got one working and one worked later that evening after being charged All in all more cons than pros but have given three star as it is a lovely hotel inside, friendly staff and great area to be in. Overall feel that if the apartment had been ready (tv remotes checked, heating checked and maybe on, towel rails on) and a more relaxed check in then a lot of these issues would not have happened

Everything was perfect!!! The staff is kind , helpful and professional. The room and bathroom super clean , comfortable beds, big bathroom . Great breakfast to the room. Complimentary mini bar with water, beer, cola and yogurt, refilled every day. The hotel is situated in the middle of the city but yet, very quiet area. Francesca recommended a very good restaurant just beside the hotel. This is definitely a great hotel.🩵

Scanderberg was a real find - tucked away in a quiet little alley off Trevi, it provided an ideal location for walking to all the places we wanted to see - Colosseum, Pantheon, Trevi, even the Vatican! The staff were absolutely wonderful - from checking us in at 2am (our flight was delayed) to bringing in a hot breakfast to our room as early as 7am - a real luxury at all times, but especially great when you intend to spend the day seeing the sights. We were able to do everything we had to - from getting last minute printouts to getting directions from the wonderful staff. We stayed in the annex, and it was ideal for our family of 3, but would definitely work well for a larger family as well. Definitely taking back some warm memories and a firm intent to be back soon! Incomparable service from a staff that clearly loves what they do. We were early, and we were greeted with snacks, cold drinks and early check in. Our every need was accommodated, and upon check out, we were given a box breakfast to eat on our way to the airport. No place I have ever stayed, has been so welcoming. Highly recommend.

Excellent spacious rooms

So glad we stayed here. I know of the hotel from having stayed nearby several years ago and from eating several times at one of our favorite restaurants right next store, but had really looked into staying here until this last trip. Wonderful experience. From the time we walked in the door to check in through the time we left to fly home we felt so welcomed. Staff was so kind and friendly. We opted for a deluxe suite and we were so comfortable for the 5 nights we stayed there. Already planning to come back!

We had an excellent stay while in Rome. Staff were very helpful and always greeted us as we came and went, nothing was too much trouble for them. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom clean and fresh.

The great things about this hotel: -location - a block from Trevi Fountain - welcome- cake, sparkling wine, tea - mini bar - free water, beer, juice, coffee, tea -breakfast included, snacks and wine in afternoon The things that could improve: - poor English speaking from one particular staff, which caused impact when attempting to get information - were told we didn't have to schedule a taxi in advance, but only needed to request 20 minutes before our trip - requested a taxi and we're told at the time we needed to leave that one wasn't available and she wasn't able to get us one. Did not offer any alternative advice or information about writing public transportation, the metro, or the bus line. - were asked to check out at 8:10 on the morning of check out because a taxi would be available. We felt puzzled by that when we see taxis all over the city when we're walking around. - we appreciated the attentiveness of the breakfast room staff, however, she would stand very close to us and watch us while we were eating, which made us feel uncomfortable. Luckily, our room was on the same floor as the room so we just took the breakfast in our room each day. - the breakfast was stated to be from 7 AM until 11 AM, but when we went to the room at 7:20 AM, breakfast wasn't set up, my husband asked for a glass and they had to get one out of the dishwasher, there was no fruit there is no yogurt already set up. They weren't ready for anyone that would come into the room and were busy getting breakfast for in room or carry out service. -

We visited for one night and were impressed by the very helpful and attentive staff. The hotel is tucked away on a little side street very close to the Trevi Fountain and within easy walking distance of other sites, like the Spanish steps, Pantheon, Roman Forum, etc. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. Lovely breakfast at the hotel and free drinks in the mini fridge in your room. The only thing I didn’t care for was the decor, which was clean and modern, but rather sterile feeling, and dark in our room and the entrance.
