staffs are slow and not so accomodating. they made us wait for a long time for our room to be ready.

Food was good, staff friendly

This cost effective resort was quite with basic room (A/C, bed, bathroom and kitchenette. Any concerns we had were addressed promptly. (e.g. water valve was not open when arrived) Great view from the multiple sitting areas and beach.

Very quite place. Rooms very nice and clean. Stuff kind. Big property and we liked.

Cold water shower. 😬, it’s maybe 10 min walk from Main road. But is ok.

Everything owner had fantastic and realistic rules on noise after 9pm a wonderful feeling off being blessed. With excellent food staff

20 metres off road on approch

I just got back from Philippines 3/20 and just got time to sit down in my computer . I want to express a full disappointment of the location of the Resort. I am not fully aware the location of the resort . The road leading to the resort like less than a mile was so dangerous since there was a very very stiff portion going down . It is so sleepery due to ongoing rain. I had booked 3 rooms and one of it is for my mother Matilde Arrojado she is 90 years old. Even if we try to walk if would be impossible . My 90 year mother could not do it. I had called the resort directly and spoke with the owner and I had expressed our situation. His explanation was there haven't no accident yet happened . If there is an accident happened before we reached the resort it is our responsibility. I am requesting a refund due to the risk involved. Therefore I am requesting your office booking.com to investigate this and refund our reservation fees 3 rooms. This is not a fair situation , we do not risk our lives to stay in Melie Beach Resort. I do hope also that you have to do an occular visit of their location. It is again a dangerous passage. Booking.com had to reconsider promoting the location. A due diligence must be made. Bottomline a planned one day stay in Alcoy did not happened , we decided to go back home. It is a frustrating event.

Off the beaten path, quiet, ocean front, peace and beautiful. I swam everyday, watched the ocean, enjoyed the ocean breeze and basked in serenity. The beds were also very comfortable and that was very important for my lower back issues. The grounds were delightfully designed with paths along the beach, benches to enjoy the beauty and multiple covered seating areas to take in the beauty. Lastly, the staff were incredibly accommodating. I look forward to returning and spending more time.

Wi-fi was spotty at times, but I’m not sure if that was the wi-fi or the Internet connection.

I like the view of the property where it was located and the staffs were accommodating.

It wasn't really that clean, I noticed the dusts and cabwebs are everywhere in the room especially in the lampshade. It seems like it wasn't cleaned for a long period of time. There were no rugs for the bathroom floor. I got rushes after swimming in the pool. The air conditioning in my parents' room wasn't working sufficiently. In the reservation it states that there is limited breakfast, but on arrival, we were told that there was no breakfast available at all.

Staff were wonderful. The place was spacious and clean. It's mostly quiet and peaceful which makes it an ideal place to spend time with friends and family. This is our second time to visit and we still love the place.

Friendly staff, clean accommodations, and less crowded

The beach's drifted seaweed could have been cleaned. It did not really bother us that much. It was still a lovely cove.

No hot water, not enough food in the menu. Scarce on sheets, towels

Almost new room was comfortable with a nice clean look. The surrounding area is beautiful right next to the ocean and has many outdoor chairs to relax. The staff are friendly and make you feel at home.

Our room had space for refrigerator but didn't have one which is disappointing. Also a kettle would have been nice.

Fantastic nice place, long way in the countrside, at the seafront.

Hard to find a better place in the countryside. Fare from all kind of towns and trafic. Very good.

Clean resort with marvellous views. Everything was clean. Nice big pool and superb beach for snorkelling. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Restaurant has a lot of improve. Menu list is very short and preparing the orders will take a lot of time. Coffee was terrible. They have different equipment to make drinkable coffee but staff don’t know how to do it. Hotel need improve their services. Massage, tours and motorcycle rental.

The staff was amazing friendly attentive full of recommendations to look out for us. The food was delicious and reasonable especially for a resort. It is a little secluded which was excellent for us. The grounds are amazing and well maintained. Our room was squeaky clean. The only two items I wished they had were a TV and consistent hot water. Thank you for your very warm hospitality and an amazing property.

The staff was better then excellent. They couldn't do enough to help you. The area was nothing short of paradise. The food was excellent. The room was clean and very comfortable. If I could give it 11 out of 10 I would.

Es war ein sehr schöner Platz zum Erholen und Genießen der Landschaft. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und engagiert. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Essen sowohl international als auch national. Leider ist die Anbindung zur Ortschaft fußläufog nicht optimal. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Signages/directions were not updated a little confuse but its no bif deal

This is a Hidden gem, we really enjoyed our stay and how friendly the staff were. The restaurant owner and his wife were what made our visit memorable, they were so friendly and sitting there enjoying a great meal looking at the ocean view . Super… plus the hotel staff go out of their way to make your stay comfortable . There is no tv but who needs that when you are at a resort. There is a steep hill but after you walk up it you realize it is no problem. Just be sure when you arrive you have good brakes on your vehicle . I recommend this resort and will be returning because my wife’s family lives in 30 min walking time … we loved it and will be returning for sure 😀

No warm water but cold showers are good and healthy for you … no warm water is not uncommon in the Philippines.

First I like thier well behaved dogs, they'd made our stay full of joy. I like the friendly and helpful staffs, good cook, good food, nice view, clean beach, although the pool isn't that height friendly, but it's nice. Spacious room, large bed, clean bathroom, I can't stay anything bad about this place. Small resort but it gave us a wonderful stay. Keep up the hospitality of the staffs. We'll definitely come back again and I'll reccomend this to all my friends and relatives who wants to get away from the crowded City.

Giving less than 5 stars to this place will be an insult. CHECK IN: There check in is until 9pm. Unfortunately I arrived by 2am. Tge hotel left an employee waiting for me the whole night and resulted to be a student that has school the next morning, poor guy 😪 FIRST MORNING: I was unable to see the so rounding areas last night but Wao! I opened my room door and there it was, a beautiful ocean view with a very nice natural landscape, so beautiful, so romantic. SOME PROBLEMS: The air conditioning was not working right but a call to the front desk was enough, they came, nice all my things right a way yo another room. An exceptional service all the way. BREAKFAST: A gorgeous breakfast with the best service, better than any 5 stars hotel. The waitress was amazing. I EXTENDED: Was staying originally for 2 nights, so far 4 nights and I'm trying to work with my schedule to stay longer.

very easy and no rumor

The property takes about 15 minutes on foot, or a few minutes by an auto vehicle from the main road. When we arrived, the staff was very courteous and informative. The bungalow was spacious and modern, with a bathroom containing full amenities, including a bidet. During the day, the air con keeps the room comfortable, and at night it was cool enough to open the windows. A nice and steady ocean breeze blew into the room, but it you want full privacy, it’s better to just use the AC. The food menu had some very tasty food at reasonable prices. Will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

I don't really want to talk about the Meili because I don't want other people to start going there.

Staff was wonderful. Our place was so nice and clean, the bedding is wonderful and smells so nice and clean. They have beautiful well behaved dogs and the most beautiful pool. It is a bit hard to walk up hill to market but you can take a motor bike or car.

Excellent Value If your looking for quiet , peaceful relaxation this is it! Great Value, excellent staff . The food was good , Chicken Curry was excellent .I was fortunate to be staying there when the owner stopped by , a terrific guy and the most helpful person I met during my trip . The resort is run by his son who was very helpful as well . The resort has 7 large rooms that are spaced apart nicely.so you allways feel like you have privacy and distance from other guests . One of the two dogs that greet the guests actually has his own Instagram account that guests can follow . An overall Excellent resort , especially for price , undervalued and underpriced . When I want to relax this is the first place I think of . A must stay if you are in the area .

Nice place to have a quiet moment , food was good providing you are not in a rush. room was clean with all required for self catering. a good walk from the main road.... best to have your transport organized. will be happy to return.

Good beach for the snorkel diving

whilst extremely quiet this resort under new ownership since may left much a poor impression. no free water or coffee satchels in room (nearest shop 15 minutes away), air conditioners too small for rooms, insufficient food at resort ( had to preorder dinner and not enough eggs for breakfast), breakfast included coffee but not was served, dinner plates left ontable for hours after dinner whilst we chatted because he said afterwards he didnt want to interupt us, plenty of ants in room, piezo on gas hotplate not working only to find no gas but next door had ( weird as connected to same bottle). owner didn't seem to be proactive on how to make place stand out more but when we were leaving after second night we offered suggestions and his response was "I could charge more". be curious to see if young owner moved this place along or doesn't.
