Staff was excellent (Katya, Georgia, Lurdi, Eleanora, Marco, Francesco, and others). Food service and concierge A+. Only 9 rooms so staff know you personally. The views are the best and there is a nice garden on the lake and mountain views. Very relaxing. We also visited Villa D'Este that is beautiful but prefer this more personal, relaxed resort.

That we could not easily walk to town as the walking along the road felt unsafe to us. It was a minor issue as we took taxi or boat everywhere and concierge helped with taxi even on the way back.

Hiányzott az érkezéskor egy pohár víz vagy welcome drink, 38!fok volt, amikor odaértünk. A napágyakon nincs szivacs, a tóba az alacsony vízállás miatt csak csúszós algás köveken lehet bemenni, a mólóról nincs lépcső.

Everything! Best hotel I have ever stayed in my life! The staff were beyond kind, nice and helpful. They helped me to plan my whole stay which included a wedding proposal. I exchanged more than 50 emails with them, they were as excited as me! I got hand written notes from the staff, it was simply brilliant!

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice. Staff went above and beyond what was expected. We both can't wait to come back and enjoy the hotel and the views.

Мы не успели заселиться, а нас уже пытались выселить. На следующий день на вилле было частное мероприятие и нам всячески давали понять, что нас не должно быть там после чек-аута. Удивил депозит за ночь в размере 500 евро, о котором нас не предупреждали. Поужинать было негде, так как ресторан на вечер был занят, хотя во время вечерней прогулки видели свободные столики. И вишенка на торте - транспортная забастовка и продолжительные вопросы от отеля, как же мы уедем, ведь нам просто необходимо покинуть их виллу до мероприятия. Но нам настолько хотелось уехать оттуда, что в 7 утра мы уже выехали на вокзал.

This was a dream holiday. The villa feels like your own exclusive property. The service was 6* every member of staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was taken care of. The property is maintained to an extremely high standard. The rooms were luxurious and exclusive.

This place is unreal, one of the best places I have ever stayed. I cannot fault it at all. Before we arrived Lurde was incredible, with the excellent assistance of Alice too. They organised everything so our stay would be perfect. The rooms are amazing and we stayed in the Varenna suite and Mandello room, which I would recommend. The pool area is lovely and a stunning view of the lake from Amandus restaurant. We had an amazing meal outside on the terrace and the food was incredible for our wedding anniversary. What a view! Lurde organised a fantastic boat trip on Lake Como and we visited some beautiful places from here. Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be back.

Traumhafte Anlage, super schöne Zimmer, ruhig, friedlich. Auch das Amandus Restaurant war hervorragend. Das Essen am Pool war auch sehr lecker und das Personal extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das „Grill“ Restaurant, wo man abends essen kann, wenn man nicht ins Fine-Dining möchte, war leider gar nicht gut.

Le lieu est incroyable, le côté intime, l’originalité des chambres, avec un petit nombre de chambres. Un beau parc en bordure du lac. La piscine très agréable. La possibilité de charger la voiture électrique. Le petit déjeuner excellent.

La carte un peu limitée du restaurant non gastronomique , surtout pour des personnes allergiques au gluten.

The Maria room was clean, private, and relaxing.

Was not crowded, the boutique hotel was very relaxing and quiet.

We had the best stay at Villa Lario! We stayed 2 nights, got in very late our first night due to a hectic travel day, but the staff was ready to greet us around midnight for our arrival. Breakfast daily (included in rates) was phenomenal, service was superb. The view from the breakfast area is one of the best on Lake Como. The second day we had a reservation at the Amandus which was an all around elite Michelin star dining experience, from the service to the food by Chef Luca! We raved about this being our favorite meal in all of Italy. Special shoutout Marco for making our pre and post dinner cocktails, Francesco for recommending the best wine we've ever had for dinner, and chef Luca for his incredible art he created for our meal. You all are doing everything right, keep it up!

De locatie was gewoon geweldig. Topligging. De kamers aan het meer waren nog mooier dan op de foto's. Het personeel was supervriendelijk en ook voor onze puppy was er plaats en aandacht genoeg. Het diner was voortreffelijk. De kwalitieit van de lunch aan het poolrestaurant trouwens ook. En wat een locatie om te lunchen. DIT WAS GEWELDIG !

Staff was wonderful and the property is beautiful! The room was a little underwhelming and the location is a little tucked away. My only comment is that it rained during our stay and there is not much to do on property with the rain (no pool. Beach or activities) so maybe they improve on that. Otherwise great stay

The property and staff were fantastic! The limited rooms and the spacious property. Made you feel like you had the villa to yourself. The staff were attentive and all wonderful. The multiple areas to grab food and drinks made it feel like you were in a different property. The boat ride they arrange was the cherry on top. Spectacular. If you have a chance, stay in the Varenna room. A perfect way to get your Lake Como experience on. Overall, one of the best properties we’ve ever stayed at.

The place is incredible! So beautiful and peaceful. Just a few rooms so nothing feels crowded ever. Perfect place to rest by the pool or lake and enjoy a few drinks. The team is amazing! If I may be a little picky, the wifi was not the best. But hey.. it was great to disconnect! Hehe :)

The location is what makes this hotel spectacular. The room we stayed in was fantastic, it was a suite on the lake.

There was a lack of options on the grill menu. There is also a lack of facilities for a 5 star hotel.

This hotel has to be one of the best ..if not THE best iv ever stayed at . It is unbelievable. Me and my wife selected this hotel for the first segment of our honeymoon. On arrival to the hotel the grounds open up to a beautiful building set in pristine grounds..the location is to die for..and you never get over the views over lake como . The staff are so friendly,polite and welcoming. The rooms are modern and immaculate. So clean too! We wanted to see lake como in its entirety so the hotel arranged for a boat to pick us up from the hotels own lakeside dock...a trip of a lifetime within a trip of a lifetime! And the on board hamper was so special provided by the hotel! On leaving we really didn't want too! We would love to return in the future.

I've stayed in many luxury hotels around the world and it's hard for me to recall a better experience. We stayed at one of the cave suites, which was absolutely delightful. We left the patio doors open at night so we could hear the sound of the lake and watch the sunset. While the rooms are not massive- by European standards they are very nicely appointed, with a beautiful full-size shower, well appointed bathroom, incredibly comfortable bed, multiple times a day service of the room to tidy /provide turn down, etc. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous- over 2 acres of meticulously manicured gardens and a beautiful pool, countless places to sit and relax - including the two different restaurants that both have a spectacular lake view and direct view of the sunset, multiple private romantic sitting areas, lunch can be served anywhere that you want it. There are only nine suites -so when the place is full, there are 18 people. It is so incredibly private compared to the busy towns like Como and Bellagio. There's a helicopter pad if you should want one, but we were picked up in a very nice vehicle from the airport- less than an hour drive. You don't need a car in fact, it would be annoying to have one. It's a short drive by taxi -which the hotel will call for you - to get to Varenna, which is an absolutely gorgeous town to spend the day in, and has a ferry terminal to go to Bellagio or anywhere else. Public ferries don't come right to the hotel but you can charter a private boat -which we did one day -to take you on a tour all around the lake, which is worth doing. Or if you want a very quiet, romantic vacation, you would never have to leave the property. It's quiet - meaning there's absolutely nothing to do -except sit around at the pool, read books and enjoy the delicious food. We went swimming in the lake- it's cold but if you like open water swimming, it's absolutely fantastic. The pool is 20 m long so also long enough to swim laps -and there is a very well equipped gym about 500 away - 3 min walk and 7 euros for a daily pass. If you want hustle and bustle and shopping, this is not what you're going to get here! But if you want complete relaxation and luxury, there's nothing better. We stayed for four nights and I could've easily stayed for two weeks before getting bored. Regarding Amandus restaurant- it's remarkable. Not for those who have a picky pallet, but the chef is incredibly creative, and we just allowed him to serve whatever he thought was a good idea ...which included some very beautiful, strange and wonderful concoctions that were as delightful to look at as they were to taste. They also have a very solid wine list and during the time that we were there, the weather was absolutely perfect sitting out on the patio, and the service was beyond compare. We had a team of six wait staff serving approximately the same number of tables. Breakfast comes with the room charge and is absolutely delightful -again all outside looking at the lake. They have a fantastic breakfast menu and the chef was also happy to prepare just about anything that we asked for that wasn't on the menu! It's expensive and luxurious, but honestly no more expensive than a Ritz Carlton or Four seasons hotel with much more character and frankly a higher level of service and unbelievable attention to detail. Because of the number of guests, everybody knows your name- they know what room you're in -as soon as you leave your room they will send people to clean it. All of the staff know exactly what's going on, and it truly feels like you are enjoying a private luxury experience. We were extremely happy that this was not in the center of everything busy and we enjoyed visiting Bellagio and Como by boat, but were happy to spend the rest of the time sitting on a chair looking at the lake! The Concierge is available by WhatsApp if you want anything, you just send them a message and they appear in about 60 seconds. Can't beat it. Will definitely return.

The breathtaking view, the many colors and the scent of jasmine in the garden, the peaceful atmosphere and birdsong created a perfect escape. Also the staff’s attention !

Beautiful lake-facing property. Had one of the two rooms built into a cave on the water which had a fun mini private beach/jetty area. Very lucky to be here in the first few days of the season in Spring with sunny weather. Splashed out on the tasting menu with wine pairings which was a very memorable special meal.

It was a magical stay from beginning to end. A luxurious paradise away from everything that was the most relaxing 3 days. The service and attentiveness was unparalleled and the food was unbelievable in the restaurant. It was so very very hard to leave! The lake is extraordinarily beautiful and their location is perfect!

Wunderbare, ruhige Villa direkt am Comer See mit grossen komfortablen Zimmern und leckerem Frühstück. Wunderschöner grosser Garten, toller Pool. Ein Platz zum bleiben :-) Ganz besonders war das grossartige Degustationsmenue des Küchenchefs Luca Mozzanica!

Très bel emplacement au calme, près du lac loin du tumulte des villes et des touristes. la vue est magnifique, le petit déjeuner complet et servi à la carte. Le personnel est agréable et réponds rapidement à nos attente. Digne d'un 5 étoiles.

The hotel was stunning and the staff were very helpful. The drinks and food were amazing and they offered a hotel taxi service for less than any other taxi you could book away from them.

Even though the gardens and pool are stunning, they had hundreds of flies on the pool furniture that made it impossible to use. It was probably because of the time of year and it was hard to control nature being so close to the lake.
