La situación del hotel a pie de mar lo que hace sea una ubicación excelente. Te dan toallas para la piscina, las hamacas comodísimas con unas vistas únicas. Habitación grande con un cuarto de baño enorme. Desde la cama daba la sensación que estabas encima del mar. El staff tuvo un comportamiento de 10. Siempre atento a nuestras necesidades y más. Felicidades.

We stayed at Sea World Boutique in Mirissa for 2 nights and honestly wished we could’ve stayed longer. The views are incredible, delicious breakfast, and the location was perfect for enjoying Mirissa during the quiet season - peaceful, relaxing and just steps from the ocean. What really made our stay special was the kindness of all the staff, especially Damith. I accidentally left my Kindle behind when we checked out, and he very kindly offered to catch the bus to Galle to meet me and return it. Such genuine hospitality from all of the staff and made a lasting impression on us. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mirissa.

Perfect location . On the beach with a 5 minute walk to coconut tree hill and 10 minute walk along the beach to main Mirissa beach with lots of restaurants and bars along the way. Lovely pool with beautiful view. Bed was very comfortable

Brilliant sea view from the bedroom and breakfast area. Huge window on the room facing the sea. Nice pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast was fine, fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice. Eggs every day or Sri Lankan breakfast to order the night before. Comfortable bed, clean room and very helpful friendly staff.

There’s no actual beach in front of the hotel as the sea comes over the steps the majority of the time so you can’t access the beach from the hotel. The towels in the room were very old and worn and the ones used for the pool were actually horrible. They had started out life as blue and white stripes but are now greyish brown and covered in unpleasant stains. Yuk. Due to the antics of the American president the hotel was pretty empty so no excuse for no fresh towels! The toiletries were harsh and I’m guessing the cheapest. There is no bar or restaurant area, which is sad as it’s so beautiful by the sea. There are some formal tables but no effort has been made to make it pleasant to sit at. The hotel is VERY overpriced for what is offered, we moved to another beach front of a similar standard for considerably less.

As an older couple our room was on the top floor 6 flights of stairs to go up. The bedroom phone was not working so couldn’t contact reception. The tv was broken and laying face down in our room where it remained our entire stay. The rooms were never serviced with towels water etc. On check-in I asked to see the room and was told by the surly manager”no need to see room room good” Hotel did not represent good value for money, it was far more expensive than was worth. People should realise they are paying for the view and nothing more. Far better hotels available with much better service and amenities.

The location is exceptional, with lovely warm pool, directly in the sunshine only a few steps from beach, within metres of the oconic coconut hill. The staff were so unbelievably friendly and accommodating and the mager Nassim couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was decent too, fruit salad , toast & jam, tea/coffee, eggs/omelette or pancakes. It was a perfect end to a fantastic but hectic trip around Sri Lanka.

We were on the 3rd floor and there were 50 or so stairs. We are relatively fit, but this might be an issue for others.

The location its right infront of the beach so you can even hear the waves during your sleep very cool

I had stayed in the city view room therefore a little noisy as main road-best to stay sea facing to avoid the noise. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Уединение не в этом месте) У нас был номер с видом на море, дороги не было слышно совсем. Еда-если честно, первый день вообще побрезговали. потом даже пару раз завтракали. Может быть ощущения на контрасте, до этого мы останавливались в отеле прям мега уединенном. На 1-2 дня, покататься по острову на байке - сойдет. Интернета нет.

Vi oppgraderte fra et hotellrom med vindu mot veien til et rom med balkong og havutsikt. Denne oppgraderingen var 100% verdt det da utsikten fra balkongen var utrolig vakker. Personalet på hotellet var også veldig hyggelige og service-innstilte. De fikk oss til å føle oss veldig velkomne.

Pokój zrobił na nas duże wrażenie, piękny widok na morze i Coconut tree hill. Duża łazienka, z fajnym przeszkleniem. Na szybie jest roleta, więc można też zadbać o intymność. Bardzo dobre śniadania, owoce, tosty, jajka w różnej postaci. Na dole jest basen z widokiem na horyzont oceanu. Wyjście bezpośrednio na plażę. Sympatyczna obsługa.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Sea World Boutique Hotel, and everything about our stay was perfect. Our cozy room had a stunning ocean view, the staff were always smiling and friendly, quick to respond to any request, and their positivity brightened our mornings every single day. The breakfasts were delicious and nourishing. I’d also like to highlight the hotel’s excellent location, as well as the pool and its own private beach. Truly the best spot on the entire coast. Thank you so much for all the emotions and memories this hotel gave us — we will remember our stay with warmth and love.

The room was excellent, facing the sea and clean. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast is more Western but very thoughtful and well-prepared. The breakfast staff is extremely kind. But the whole team is very kind too. Super friendly and helpful. I found the location great because it's facing the sea but far from noise or crowded places.

The shower was a bit problematic. Hot water came out of the cold water button and vice versa. Also, the drain didn't empty very easily. The Wi-Fi wasn't the best in the room; it worked a little better at reception.

The property was beautiful right on the sea front, room large amazing sea view balcony, spotless & staff were so very helpful & couldn’t do enough for you. The breakfast was out of this world & the best we have had in Sri Lanka. My husband had his birthday here on the first day & they decorated his rooms with a banner & balloons - a really nice touch.

The WIFI was slow & kept coming in & out - this could have been better. Also, they were doing some painting & electrical maintenance but it wasn’t too much of a problem.

Great location, far away from tourist beach but still close enough to get there quick by tuk tuk. Amazing view, great room. Nice quiet beach. Friendly staff but somehow you could tell that it’s fully run by men :)

Lovely hotel, rooms overlooking the ocean with gorgeous old Sri Lankan furniture. Well appointed and clean with great bathroom. Gorgeous location with pool right on the ocean, coconut tree hill in the background. Very clean. Good breakfast! And lovely kitchen/dining staff Out of main town of mirissa - we walked ~10mins or got a Tuktuk which was easy.

Sometimes some strange energy from the manager - we organised a taxi pick up from Colombo which was confirmed with address, then on the day they said it was not confirmed and was sometimes blaming us? Also booking.com error - the site kept booking for 1 instead of 2 (in a double room), which we thought would not be an issue but the manager and the owner apparently angry about it. Bit strange We also asked about surfing and massages etc, only information they had was for whale watching tours. No continuing issue at all, just got us off to a strange start

Ein wunderschönes Hotel direkt am Strand, mit Blick auf den Coconut Tree Hill. Ich habe in einem der Zimmer mit Meerblick übernachtet und der Ausblick ist atemberaubend schön. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, es gab jeden Tag frisch gepressten Saft, Obst, Omelette und Pancakes, wenn man noch Hunger hatte. Die Menschen, die dort arbeiten, sind alle sehr, sehr freundlich und herzlich, vor allem Damith, der super nett und hilfsbereit war. Danke für die tolle Woche!

Goede locatie en de kamer had echt een prachtig uitzicht op de zee. Heerlijk om zo ‘s ochtends wakker te worden. De locatie was voor ons perfect. Het zit op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen van alle strandtentjes, wat prima te doen is, en je zit heerlijk rustig. Met uitzicht op coconut hill. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam en ze hebben goed ontbijt. Kamer en badkamer zijn goed en schoon. Zonnebedden aan het zwembad zijn goed (al zitten er wat vlekken in de kussens) en je kunt ook ze de zee inlopen.

Enige negatieve punt is dat er echt heel veel vlekken in het beddengoed zaten. Misschien even iets beter op letten als personeel. Daarnaast is het allemaal goed, maar geen 5 sterren hotel terwijl de prijs wel vrij stevig is.

Waking distance to nightlife, clean and tidy

This hotel was a highlight of our trip and easily our favourite in Sri Lanka. The staff were incredibly friendly, the rooms were gorgeous and comfortable, and the location couldn’t be better- right on the beach and just a short walk to Coconut Tree Hill, Parrot Rock, and plenty of dining options. We were so impressed by the ocean-view rooms that we upgraded on the spot, and it made our stay even more special. We’re already looking forward to our next visit

We had an amazing stay at Sea World Boutique!! The staff were all incredibly friendly, helpful and kind. Nassim helped us check in and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. They made a delicious vegan traditional Sri Lankan breakfast for us every morning, with fresh fruit for starters. Our room overlooked the sea, and was clean, spacious and an incredible view!! The bathroom was really big too. We had a fridge to keep drinks cold and the air conditioning worked really well. The balcony was great too. They cleaned our room every day too which was brilliant. The pool was lovely, we swam in it a few times and enjoyed the sun loungers too. We loved watching the sunsets from the sun loungers in the evening! It was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend.

The view and breakfast was amazing! The location is really good. Very close to coconut hill. Staff recommended a good restaurant nearby, Petti Petti, which was great.

The first room we got smelled very mouldy but we could switch to another one which didn't smell as bad. They have parking, but probably only fits 2 cars at most.

Booked for one night but ended up staying a day longer. Charming tiny hotel in a popular strip. The location is right off the main road with plenty of dining options nearby. Direct view of the Indian ocean from the bed in the mornings and evening is breathtaking. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Request for a "devilled chicken" to have with a cold Lion beer. The stay was incredible we were so lucky to get the chance to stay in this beautiful hotel me and my best friend, the location is walking distance to anywhere bars resturents and the beach , the view while having breakfast just breathtaking, fully ocean view even our room was like little heaven super clean comfy the bed was so comfy , everyone was kind and friendly and really helpful it's really safe area we were so happy and comfortable to be walking around the spa just next door the yoga centre also just next door grocery and anything you need just from this beautiful location it's only few minutes, the breakfast was soo good fresh fruits was sooo tasty, the staff our favourite sweetheart Damith he was like our angel he toke care of us with everything helping with lagguge , breakfast anything we need he can just do it in a minute , wait for us to be back at night to the hotel by the reception he is an angel , Naseem who were really helpful at the reception And the house keeping guy amf his smile everytime we meet him , he was cleaning our room everyday making sure it's super clean and provide new towels and water everyday anytime , the stay overall was more than amazing and we wasn't expected to be that lucky to stay in a such place and meet such kind people during or first visit to mirissa thank you for taking care of us, and definitely visiting again your hotel 🥰

What a fantastic hotel ! The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a sea view room which was well worth the little bit extra we paid. The breakfast was amazing, especially the fruit ! The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a really great stay, we wished we could have stayed longer ! A 5 minute walk along the beach or road took you to all the beach bars. This is a perfect hotel to stay in Mirissa and I can highly recommend !

We stayed for three nights with our 1 year old baby. The staff are excellent, so welcoming, and attentive and really enjoyed playing with our son. We had a sea view room, the view is beautiful, and the bathroom and shower were excellent - you can see the sea from the shower! The staff provided a lovely wooden cot which was perfect for our son. The cot fit next to the bed and the bed’s mosquito net covered the cot. Breakfast was lovely, and the staff were very accommodating of our child’s needs. All in all, we would recommend to other families and travellers. The staff are a credit to the place.

Sea World Boutique is a FANTASTIC hotel - we loved our stay there. The hotel itself is stunning (the pictures don't even do the beauty of the location justice!) but more than that, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, so friendly and it was a difficult day when we had to leave! Thanks to everyone for a brilliant few days in paradise.

I was a bit worried after I booked this place and read the bad reviews,especially the stories about being overcharged so I came prepared with USD in cash and I strongly suggest you do the same,as if you pay by card they add a surcharge and try to use a bad exchange rate and in the end we would end up paying around 10% more if we didn’t prepare which is crazy. We also upgraded to both rooms with sea view and again, I strongly suggest you do this. Check the map, the property is right next to rhe main road. The other rooms are really loud. We had two rooms on the same floor with balconies connected. Super comfortable. So in the end, with this in mind we had a great stay really. I was worried we would have a bad experience but it ended up being one of our favourites on this trip. The location is great ,with a beautiful view on the sea and the coconht hill. Amazing sunsets at the balcony. The rooms are actually beautiful with quality furniture. It is reallyclean.The guys working there are super nice,unlike some reviews mention. The only downside is everything outside the rooms is not well maintained. It’s like two opposite worlds, beautiful 4 star rooms and 2 star pool and horrible lounge chairs. My mom also fell down the stairs by the pool as they are super slippery. All that said I still think it’s a great options because of the views and the comfy rooms and we liked the location.

The location on the beach was amazing, easy to walk around and a great view. The pool was lovely, and there was enough of beach loungers. The breakfast and housekeeping staff were absolutely lovely, they treated us with kindness and were always ready to help. Breakfast was exceptional. After walking around beach in Mirissa the hotel seemed to have the best location. We stayed in a street view room, and the road noice didn't bother us.

Upon arrival, our first room was mouldy, that much that sleeping there was very unpleasant. The staff moved us onto another room the next day, which had no issues, so we were very happy for fast assistance. So if possible, request a room from the highest floor. The manager seemed unpleasant, and we were not very comfortable around him, nor did the staff. He also tried to charge the room with higher exchange rate than the real one given by the bank each day, but upon bringing this up and asking to use the daily rate he did agree to calculate and charge it correctly. I was quite prepared after reading reviews, so this seems to be quite a regular thing. I'd say if the hotel could get a manager who is more into customer service rather than money making the place would be perfect.

Our room on the second floor was spacious and had beautiful glass doors to a balcony overlooking the sea. The road noise could only be heard in our bathroom, on the stairs and the reception areas - and this was actually a charming reminder that we were in Asia. If staying here, you must ask for a sea facing room. If would be quite unpleasant if facing the road.

On first arrival, we were a bit concerned as the hotel is open to a very busy road, and has a small unimpressive reception area.

The hotel is very close to the road. The road was very busy with fast traffic, buses, tuk tuk, and Lorrie’s. No pavements.

Some corners in the room could be more clean. Opposite side of the sea is noisy road, which was the issue, because we couldn’t sleep well. We were offered an upgrade to have sea view but the price is more than double, which is inconvenient.

Me and my wife had an amazing five-night stay at Sea Boutique Hotel and couldn’t be happier with our experience. Choosing to pay extra for the sea-view rooms was absolutely worth it. Even though there is a busy road, you can’t really hear any traffic noise from inside the room, only the relaxing sound of the waves. You could even enjoy the sea view from the shower. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and everything was clean. The service was exceptional, with a special thanks to Nassim, Damith and the rest of the staff who always greeted us with a smile and went above and beyond to make our stay special. You truly made the final part of our Sri Lanka trip unforgettable.

The only thing to remark on was the WiFi, which was unstable. However, this was not a problem for us since we had a cellular package.

When I arrived they said the type of room I had reserved were fully booked. They tried to sell another room for more than 70$ even if it was not my fault. They didn't cancel the booking as requested.

Exceptional service and convenient location with ocean access

We didn’t stay because they cancelled our stay although we had a confirmation from booking.

Location is perfect - 5 minutes walk to coconut tree hill and there are many restaurants nearby. It is also a 5 minute tuk tuk ride away to more touristy / party areas in Mirissa. Staff are so friendly and goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. We arranged a tour to Udawalawe National Park through the hotel, and we had a super convenient experience (especially as we requested to be dropped off to the Colombo Airport after the safari tour). Nassim was exceptionally friendly as well. We had the city room view - it was slightly smaller compared to the ocean view rooms but we were happy with it for its value.

Das Personal ist super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Hotel ist direkt am Stand, von der Terasse aus kann man das Getümmel auf dem Coconut Tree Hill beobachten. Kurzer Weg zu diesem beliebten Ort. Man ist schnell im Zentrum. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Strasse, da war es tagsüber laut. Nachts kein Problem. Wifi war nicht so gut. Frühstück lecker. Mittagessen hatten wir auch einmal a la cart bestellt, war gut! Ausreichend Liegen und Sitzplätze vorhanden.

The view from the bed over the ocean is great. The location of the hotel directly on the beach is also perfect.

The pillows were smelly, the wifi was poor and the airco worked but the remote was half broken and not all function worked. The price was probably governed by the location and view. But is well over the top for the quality of the room itself.

The buses can get a little loud in the morning if your room is on the street side - if you wake early anyway it isn’t a problem

Bad place. The Ari condition stop working 3-4 am and we couldn't call or feel anyone. And on the morning we say to Them its not working and they did nothing. After a good breakfast we had to Pay, where they tried to cheat us by currency count from USD to RS.

The location is ideal for visiting all the most recommended beaches and viewpoints, but at the same time offers a very exclusive homey feel. The boutique hotel has a restaurant serving delicious food, a private small pool and access to the beach which is ideal and only 5 min coast walk to Coconut tree hill.

Everything. Primarily, the service has been absolutely amazing. We have already learnt that Sti Lankans are lovely, but the staff at this hotel takes it to another level. They are very personable, friendly and kind. Especially Nassim the manager, he has helped us with recommendations and advice about the local area and has been super friendly and helpful. We’ve also loved seeing Damith and other staff everyday, who always greeted us with smiles and friendliness. The hotel is also very clean and nicely decorated. We had a beautiful room on 3 floor overlooking the ocean. Ideal stay for our last 3 nights!

The rooms, the pool and the location directly at the beach were really nice.

The WiFi was barely working, it didn’t quite reach our room and even downstairs by the pool the connection was often lost. The staff always tried to sell us a „good deal“ on transport, activities etc but when we found a better price online or just down the road they seemed rather annoyed and weren’t as willing to help us anymore. It felt like they always tried to rip us off and didn’t took us seriously when we told them about our alternatives. The included breakfast was quite basic but ok. When you ask for just water instead of the coffee or tea they offer you with it, be prepared to pay for that extra. Our lowlight happened during checkout when they charged us 12% more of what the price on our booking confirmation said. Although our confirmation said the price would include service and fees, they added their „service charge“. We know this is common in Sri Lanka but they could’ve told us before. Also just the way they kept on discussing with us for over an hour was rude, the manager was too busy to speak to us as well and they knew we had to go to the airport soon so we had to pay eventually.

The friendliness of the staff, the location, the view from our bedroom of the sea was exceptional and the room decoration. The food cooked by the hotel was delicious and full of flavour. Nothing was ever too much to ask for.

Got a bonus from booking.com so I thought I'd use it to have a sea view at a good price. When we arrived we were told that they would not honour it and wanted full price even though I had the booking confirmation on my phone. Ended up in noisy roadside room. Left a bad taste....apart from that Mirissa was amazing had a great time.

The property is located right at the beach with a beautiful view, tasteful decor and in walking distance of most places around. The owner Salath gave us an upgrade and made sure we had a comfortable stay. The staff at the reception were extremely nice, always smiling and helpful with anything we needed. Bathrooms were neat and hygienic with a spa shower. Breakfast was very good as well, served in front of the pool overlooking the beach. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay.

Great view from top floor

I didn't like the fact that I wasn't charged the correct price ( over charged 150.00). Booking .com advertising free genius upgrade of room. We got charged full price by hotel ! I wouldn't have booked this place at this price. How fighting to gey my 150.00 pounds returned. Disgusting booking.com. Now getting Barclays Bank involved as I have all evidence and 100per in the right.. Very bad management not sorting their advertising wirh booking.com properly , especially with not cancelling option Totally spoilt our stay.

Great sea views from balcony room. Very clean. Pool and poolside lounge set up is very good. Location some distance from main beach but that works well with cheap tuk tuk ride if you want to avoid getting too sweaty.

Nothing springs to mind. Don’t serve alcohol by the pool.
