Wij waren er in de wintertijd van ZA en het huisje was enorm vochtig (zal in de zomer vast beter zijn). Er waren wel maatregelen genomen, zoals een verwarming in de badkamer, een airco en elektrische dekens. Toch was het nog steeds vochtig. Het rook er vreemd. Het toiletpapier was zelfs vochtig. Daarnaast was bijvoorbeeld de wc-bril kapot. Het was het allemaal net niet. Wij waren blij dat we na twee nachten verder gingen.

The only thing I would change is the check-in window is reduced, works for someone driving a car but if your are traveling with BazBus or a similar service on the Garden Route is quite inconvenient. Also I tried to cook using the induction stove and that activated the fire alarm, I guess the kitchen could be improved to prevent this

Reviewed Jul 9, 2026¡Me gustó absolutamente todo! Es de los mejores alojamientos que estuve en Sudáfrica. El apartamento es enorme y súper completo. La cama muy cómoda y el baño increíble. Todo estaba limpio y en excelente estado, además la decoración hermosa y todo de excelente calidad. Mi estadía fue perfecta y lo recomiendo ampliamente. El personal fue muy amable y todo el proceso de check in fue rápido y claro. Destaco que tenía aire acondicionado, mantas eléctricas y secador de toallas, algo que no es tan normal en los alojamientos de la zona.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026The place ticked all the boxes for a clean place with great tools you need to have a comfortable stay, everything worked perfectly. The most interesting point was the cleanliness, you will never find a cleaner place outside of an ICU . If you are obsessed with all white cleanliness, you can't find better anywhere. I felt very safe.
The room was all white and in an oval shape that look like the White House (a scary place for some of us). I think it was not good for my recovery (I had surgery) - I woke up a few times feeling like I was in an ICU. This is my problem really, and the pillows where not very comfy for my fragile body. But the hosts kindly accommodated me with a workable solution.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026The location of the property is about a kilometer from the Wilderness town center in a quiet part of town. I really liked the spacious, modern and clean room. The room is at the back of the main building, so very quiet and private. The bathroom has a large whirlpool bath and they supplied bubble bath. There is a medium size desk where you can work on your computer. The kitchenette with crockery and kitchen utensils is ideal for self-catering for 2 persons. WIFI worked very well and when it was down one evening it was fixed shortly after I reported it. They cleaned the room every day and were good at restocking things that I had used. The bottled water was very welcome. There is a very good condition weber grill on the small patio but I didn't use it. DSTV TV in the room with large smart TV. Plenty of parking spaces on site and secure. This place is clearly well managed and run - it was perfect for my needs and I hope to return.
Nothing comes to mind. Please just bear in mind that meals are not provided as it is fully self-catering.

Das Bett war für unseren Geschmack ein wenig hart.

Man konnte gut selbst kochen und die Ausstattung war sehr modern. Auf dem Gelände ist ein kleiner Pool in dem man gut schwimmen kann. Die Unterkunft liegt zentral und man ist schnell am Meer oder im Nationalpark. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmsten empfehlen

Reviewed Mar 22, 2026I loved this „tiny“ rounded house, felt like a little Hobbit house with everything you need. It was also possible to check-in 1h earlier which was great! Cafes and restaurants are in walking distance and it felt conpletely safe.
You don‘t really have a view but I saw that other rooms/ „apartments“ have it. So check first before you book.

Everything about Cloverleigh is first class, Paul gave us a lovely warm welcome and looked after us throughout our stay, the rooms are spotlessly clean and very well equipped, there is a nice heated pool and it is only a short 15 minute walk to the shops, restaurants etc. When we return to Wilderness we will definitely stay here again, thank you Paul and Reiner.
