Riad Ritaj

Buena ubicación, precio muy razonable. Terraza con vistas.

Todo.

Nada.

Maravilloso.

The property has great potential. All the rest doesn't really follow any 5-star standards. Particularly the breakfast was dreadful. No filtered water was available for drinking either..

breakfast. ew.

very ngood breakfast, magestic interior design, very nice and beautiful riad

I servizi offerti,

Muy limpio y muy buena ubicación.

Nada

Personale molto gentile. Un’oasi di pace. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Nulla.

Beautiful Riad.. Super location.. Very comfortable bed..

Het personeel, o.a.

Lovely large room

Magnifique Riad à Meknes. Très bon petit déjeuner. Merci beaucoup pour votre accueil, gentillesse, conseils.

Superbe riad , emplacement idéal, resto , boutiques à proximité. Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Personnel très sympathique et à l écoute.

The hotel was beautiful. We had a lovely time. They should actually take better pictures to show off just how nice it is. The pictures don’t do it justice. The staff were friendly and it was clean and tidy. We loved it and we definitely go back again

The only issue is you have to be let in by someone else. We have a room key but the front door is locked. Which makes it safe but you can’t go in and out as you please as such.

Easy to find. Lovely interiors in a spacious and sumptuous building, with bird-song greeting us on arrival. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Excellent views from the roof terrace - a great shame meals could not be taken there.

Bed was very firm. The downside of the magnificent lightwell running the full height of the building is that sounds carry extremely well. So if you go to bed early, you'll readily notice the arrival, movements, conversations and even showering of those who come later.

Just around the corner of the central square. Beautiful Riad!

l'ambient i la decoració

Personnel exceptionnel.

Rien

Great location, easy to find with parking just a short walk.

No key to the front door, had to knock or ring the bell to get in.

La ubicació, les vistes i l’esmorzar. El personal molt atent i t’ajuda en tot

L’aire acondicionat no acabava de refredar l’estança

The lovely atmosphere

The pure oriental/moroccan style

Lobby and nice set of breakfast 😋

Riad Ritaj is an absolutely beautiful small hotel. We were welcomed by the receptionist with some Moroccan tea whilst our rooms were getting ready. The entrance hall with the fountain in the middle is just breathtaking. The rooms and all common spaces are beautifully decorated and spotless clean. The terrace at the top was an incredible location from where to watch the sunset. The hotel location right near the main square was perfect to go explore. Breakfast in the morning was delicious with eggs, pancakes, juice, coffee, and tea. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Great stay in the hidden gem of the city of Meknes.

Nothing

Location

Service Breakfast was only fruits as I had to leave early and they did not want to make effort to serve break fast early.

Beautiful riad with lovely rooftop terrace from which to enjoy incredible sunset views. Rooms are full of character and very comfortable. Unfortunately, construction noise from the neighbouring building continued very late into the night. After calling reception at 10:40pm, the staff went and spoke to the workers, at which time it thankfully stopped. If staying here soon, perhaps ask to have a room on the opposite side of the hotel. Apart from the noise, which was not the fault of Riad Ritaj, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others. Excellent location and parking is nearby.

From the medina, we stepped inside and were immediately in awe by this beautiful riad in the perfect location. A friendly welcome with decorative rooms and four poster beds. Tasty breakfast and definitely the most impressive riad I’ve stayed in so far.

Very helpful staff 👍

The breakfast was good, but little bit small for a man😉

Very friendly and good service, comfortable , big rooms. Copious breakfast. Excellent location near Place Hedim

The riad is beautiful, it is an old palace. It's decorations are stunning! It's localized in the medina - walking distance to all the important spots, cafes and restaurants. Rooms are nice and very clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff wasvery nice and helpful. Breakfast was good - typical for Marocco - continental ( sweet) :)

everything was fine

Perfect location, exceptional staff and a clean and beautiful Riad.

Not the Riad’s fault but some noisy construction work next door during the day.

Staff

Location was good but hotel was difficult to access, as you must go to the hotel through labyrinth-like alleys. The style & architecture of the hotel was good. There is a car park near hotel, but you must ask for its location from the hotel.

No safe in room to put your valuables. The tap in the bathroom was leaking. The tiny soap in the shower was like a piece of wood and the metal soap holder was rusty. There was no liquid soap in its container and the toilet brush holder was totally disgusting. Bathroom floor carpets seemed to have never been cleaned. The towels were too small and not soft. The hotel's credit card machine didn't work and we paid 70 Euros, the hotel owed us something around €5. We asked for a signed receipt, and they said they would give it on the next day, but they didn't do it - Message to BookingCom : Please ,don't allow the hotel to double charge us, as they already received their money in cash ! - On the next morning, we gave the key and left the hotel, and another man from the hotel run to us and asked us to pay the hotel's fee. He had no idea about we had paid already to the hotel. After his calls he understood that it had been paid , and then we asked for our €5 , which they owed and took it from that man. Noone speaks English in the hotel.

The location of the property is close to the Medina, but it's a bit painful getting there from the closest parking. The staff was friendly, but the breakfast rather mediocre.

The breakfast and the service during breakfast.

Super super staff. Big rooms. Highly recommended.

Just better soap please

Could not fault it, excellent value for money, good location, very helpful staff.

Vety good.

The Riad is beautifully decorated and easy to find near the entrance of the medina Th staff were really wonderful helping us out with recommendations of places to eat and day trip arrangements to nearby sights (HIGHLY recommend both chateaux roslane and volubilis for very different but equally excellent experiences!) Rooms were comfortable and the view from the terrace was lovely

Very nice Riad, clean and comfortable in the middle of the Medina. We got a free room upgrade. Parking was possible outside the Medina, around 5 minutes walk to the riad near place Lalla Aouda

The service was absolutely correct but not exceptionally warm in comparison to other places in Morocco, where you receive a welcome tea and lots of information.

Beautiful room and the rooftop terrace was great. Good location in the Medina and you can see the palace walls from the terrace. Pretty easy to find for a Medina hotel too.

STAFF WERE GREAT

HARD BED

Elegant old Riad in the Medina of Meknes very close to everything a traveler would be interested in. Although cars cannot drive to the riad, it’s a very short walk from the street. The riad is an old palace with a spectacular main floor, and rooms that vary widely depending on price. Mine was the grand, colorful room decorated in gorgeous orange and red that’s pictured on the web site. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, everything works, including WiFi (unlike some riads), and the hotel is a good value. Service at the front desk is very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very basic, and service was poor. Although very few people were being served, it was almost impossible to get coffee/tea refills or to request anything else since the server would disappear for long periods of time.

Staff were great and breakfast was nice. The room had a huge bed and the bathroom was well laid out.

The room was a little dusty but I think it was because meknes was largely closed down and so the hotel may not have been used too much

Exceptionally beautiful . You are in an exquisite piece of traditional Moroccan architecture. Unforgettable

Authentic, stunningly beautiful

Excellent location Very nice staff Decoration of riad is beautiful Price was excellent value

Bed very hard (I liked it but my family didn't, personal preference) Would prefer butter not margarine at breakfast and some fruit

loved the Riad, very traditional, beautiful tile work, excellent location and the staff were extremely helpful

the beds are super firm/hard

Magnificent surroundings, the ambience, the beauty of the building, the luxurious room and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Great location. The best riad we had ever stayed in.

Nothing to dislike.

Enchanting, luxurious Riad, great atmosphere, super comfortable, good breakfast, an amazing experience altogether. Very good location, inside the Medina but very quiet and near Bab El Mansour.

The hotel was very beautiful and clean. The terrace has a stunning 360 view. A staff lady was very patient and explained in details how to go to Volubilis independently.

There were no windows in the room, except for one toward the hallway.

The room was beautifully decorated , The staff was very nice and helpful. Always responding. Large breakfast.

Beautifully decorated , it looked like a palace . Bed was very big and comfortable, bathroom big and clean. Everything about this place was perfect and beautiful.

The shower head needs to be better, more water pressure, but other than that it’s great.

This riad is just beautiful. Entering through the door transports you to what I would call Moroccan luxury. The rooms are perfect and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was really good. I need to give compliments to the staff. Amina is just so kind and friendly, my couple had a health problem and she allowed us to stay for a little longer (doing a late check-out) and had some electrolytes prepared to give them to us so we would have an easier trip. Honestly, I felt at home. The hospitality was so good that I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who really wants to experience Morocco at its best. Thanks, Amina for being so kind and to the rest of the staff for making our stay the perfect stay.

Nothing, this stay was just perfect!

Really nice and friendly staff!! The Riad is amazing and very clean!! Beautiful rooftop with a breathless view!! Perfect location: 5 minutes from the main square!! Highly recommended!!!

The service staff was very nice and caring and we felt really well during our stay.

Palatial riad in the centre of Meknes. Lovely interior. Rooms are full of character. Friendly welcome. Very good value for money.

Loud strange plumbing noise from neighbouring room!
