Its location is amazing. Francesca on reception was so attentive
We booked a duplex room with outdoor space which we didn’t have. Told it was an upgrade but it was definitely not. Meant we had to swap rooms twice. Not ideal
I had a beautiful stay at La Fiermontina. Daniele, Maria and Samuele went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was an exceptional one. I was sincerely grateful to the whole team for their warmth, hospitality and genuine kindness.
Nothing. Everything was exceptional.
Garden was super nice and breakfast too
They sold us a tour with 3rd party with was expensive but not good. And did not take our feedback very seriously
I loved my stay at La Fiermontina. From the moment I mentioned that I had stayed at their other property in Morocco, the team made me feel truly welcomed and surprised me with a complimentary upgrade to Suite Antonia, which was wonderful. The property is beautiful, elegant, and full of soul. One unforgettable highlight was the exceptional museum tour given by the owner, who shared a moving story of love, passion, madness, and forgiveness through beautifully curated artwork. Dinner was also a great experience, with Alessandro taking wonderful care of us, and Francesca was simply amazing, solving everything in real time with warmth and efficiency.
I wish the spa was at the property.

Mención especial a Alessandra y Samuel.

Hotel had a “at home vibe”. Loved everything about our stay.
Staff, house, everything
Beautiful place, beautiful grounds, everything was exceptional

Location was excellent, the hotel is exactly as it is presented on the website with a nice pool to enjoy at the end of a day sight seeing. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and an option for a la carte orders. Our room was a good size and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast staff and reception staff were very friendly.
Pool side drinks were overly expensive. Drinks which we were having in the town at €5.50-€7.50 were being charged at €20. Likewise the restaurant whist good was overpriced.
We booked two rooms for four people because the system didn’t allow us to select one room for all of us. Unfortunately, we were given rooms on different floors, which meant we had to split up—something very inconvenient since we were traveling with two young children and couldn’t leave them alone. Managing the luggage between the rooms was a mess. We asked to be moved, but the only solution offered was to add a bed using a sofa in one room and not use the second room, even though we had already paid for it. There seems to be a lack of proper planning in how rooms are assigned. One of the rooms even had a connecting door to another, which would have worked perfectly for us.
Loved everything about it!

The Hotel's location, the garden, the service of the staff. The room was very nice.
Maybe a liittle overpriced
Our car broke down Nd hotel staff was very helpful. Ana in particular. Great employee.
When you stay here, you are surrounded by art, and not just when you go on the tour of their private museum. The on-site restaurant, Zephyr, is excellent, and very good value for the quality. But, the best thing about La Fiermontina is the staff -- in the restaurant, definitely, but at the front desk -- Marta and Maria, especially, are the best -- your happiness is their only goal. You hesitate to ask directions b/c they will take you, or track you down if you get lost -- seriously. They are unbelievalbe.
The hotel room and service rates well above 5 stars. The large suite of rooms is very modern but in an ancient building so you have wonderful ambience with vaulted ceilings, thick stone walls but lots of windows. There is great attention to detail and it is very quiet, in a garden setting surrounded by art. The staff were attentive and helpful and the breakfast was superb. You can tell that the staff feel loyal to the owners and eager to make their guests comfortable. The hotel is easy to find if you follow the staff directions- but you need to let them know if you are driving in so they can help register your car to avoid a fine for crossing into a restricted area. Location allows you to walk to everything in the old town but it is easy to drive out of the city if you want to visit some surrounding places. I recommend making this your base to explore all of Puglia- you will be thrilled to return every night to this beautiful sanctuary. We have stayed in very fine 5 star plus hotels around the world and this rates as one of the very best experiences.
This property is exceptional in terms of design and facility and attention to detail. We stayed at two different high-end hotels in Puglia that were approximately the same price. However, La Fiermontina was truly unique. What makes the difference is that the staff is incredibly attentive and they they create a very family-like atmosphere while still maintaining a feeling of professionalism and high and hospitality.
it was very hot and they turned off the air conditioning system over the 4 nights we were there. It was hot and uncomfortable to sleep and stay in the room in general. they offered a large fan, but since the room was small it was not a good option. there would have been no room for it and it would be blowing and noisy.
Espectacular decoration and room. Great place.
Beautifully renovated palazzo in a great location in the very walkable and historic old town of Lecce. Many great restaurants within an easy 3-10 minute walk from this lovely hotel. Our room overlooked the outside terrace where breakfast was served during warmer weather. With cooler temperatures, breakfast is served in one of the stunning drawing rooms. Modern features: updated bathrooms, WiFi,and it was easy to charge electronics. Beautiful rooftop bar with stunning views. Above all, the service was exceptional. The entire staff was very warm, highly professional, knowledgeable, kind, and most accommodating. They all went above and beyond! Special acknowledgment is given to both Benedetta and Anna who treated us like beloved famiky members. They made a special effort to get to know us, and made great restaurant and shopping recommendations. I would highly recommend staying at this palazzo to my family and friends visiting Puglia.
Wonderful stay in beautiful hotel! Loved all the art/sculptures and very large room overlooking the gardens. Only complaint we had was that the wifi did not work well in our room. There was a nice library right outside our room where it did work so that just became an extension of our room.
Very good hotel
Look at the management responses to criticisms of this hotel and that tells you everything you need to know. The responses are entitled and condescending and it's always the guest's fault. Welcome to La Fiermontina. As others have mentioned, the breakfast people are delightful. Perhaps they should run this hotel. Instead it's run by a wealthy Italian family as their pet project, but frankly feels more like an expensive guest house where the guests are a bother once they have provided their credit cards. This is not a 5-star experience, from the bedding to the towels to the cheap soaps in the bathroom. The expectations are set by the pricing and if this hotel were less expensive I would have no problem giving them a higher review, but they are charging 5-star rates for 2-star service. Their photos online are very deceptive. The rooms look huge, and they market a very basic small room as a "junior suite" which overlooks the entry area and hallway. I think if they were more realistic in how they portray and describe the rooms it would lead to less guest disappointment based on our experience and the reviews. And no way will they move you to a nicer room... this is what you booked, and this is what you get, goodbye we have things to do. This property has potential if it were better managed, but given the prices, the value is not on offer. Let's wait for the management response to this review. Somehow it will be my fault "If you want a suite, book a suite" without really any intention of taking the constructive feedback many guests have provided, and implementing changes. La Fiermontina is a sad tribute to bygone days.
I have never been more disappointed in a luxury hotel. $1500 per night. We love design hotels, but this is all design no hotel. Housekeeping didn’t come for 2 days of our 3 night stay. When they did come they didn’t change the sheets or at least the pillow cases. They will only give you one room key. The room is very dysfunctional. No hooks for robes or towels so everything is constantly damp. We were in the pool suite….but it’s barely a pool and tepid in temperature. The breakfast is mediocre. They bring you one croissant to share. Eventually I figured out there was a small buffet of carbs in the back, but no one told me. And I asked for management to talk to me at checkout and no manager met me so don’t do the TripAdvisor response of “I wish you’d told us you were underwhelmed”
Maria dont ever leave this property. I know Andrea, Anna, Daniel are also wonderful and were fabulous. The wonderful people in the restaurant each morning are as good as it gets!~ Smiling/Prompt/Welcoming. Truly a great compliment to a great hotel. I must say however so much of my interaction was with Maria. A lot of it happened in the months before I even arrived and she was just so accommodating and so reachable! She assisted as I just couldnt decide of all the great rooms across the 3 properties which one to choose. She described all and loved each one; rightfully so. Once I arrived, I was greeted wiht a hug and she and the rest of the staff immediately stole our hearts. The accommodations are very original and very cool. We were in a poo suite across street from main hotel at Lux homes. Very cool. Great room. We also went to the other property and were allowed to se some of the unoccupied rooms (Daniel was not only our host there but gave us some great local recommendations as well) The Blue room stood out as super lux and very cool. We loved the hotel and loved the easy walk we did each night into town. Lecce Old town jumps. We loved it all. By way, great gesture of a few extra pastries the day we left for airport. So great of you.I wish I can recall his name is restaurant but he was outstanding (fresh squeezed orange juice please!) and gracious and super prompt as were all who worked there! GRAZIE Millie !
BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT HOTEL IN THE HISTORIC CENTER BUT IN A QUIET SECTION. THE STAFF ARE WARM AND ATTENTIVE AND VERY HELPFUL - ESPECIALLY IN SECURING AMAZING DINNER RESERVATIONS AND EXCURSIONS. YOU CAN ALSO VISIT THEIR OTHER PROPERTY ALSO IN THE HISTORIC CENTER AND HAVE DRINKS AND WATCH THE SUNSET ON THEIR BEAUTIFUL ROOFTOP WHERE ATTENTIVE BAR TENDERS ENJOY MAKING DELICIOUS COCKTAILS. THERE IS ALSO A MUSEUM WITH THE STORY OF THE HOTEL- BEAUTIFULLY APPOINTED WITH AMAZING PIECES OF ART.
LOVED EVERYTHING!!
Beautiful clean hotel, with an excelent location to visit Lecce. A 10 min walk to the main square, while being in a quiet street. Breakfast buffet was very good, lacking only some options for children.
A la carte breakfast options were underwelming. Service around the pool area coud be improved.
Architecture of this property is beautiful. Stunning interiors. Pool area lovely. Bed very comfortable.

Great location Lovely staff Beautiful garden and sculptures
Pretty expensive
In a city where you can stay at another property for a fraction of the price and it would be better, or equivalent value, I would stay somewhere else. Property is pretty - garden, art, and furniture. Quality - The actual rooms, bed/bedding, towels, etc. for the price is not worth it. Bedding was super cheap. Showers didn’t drain well. Blinds didn’t fully close. Not 5-star hotel quality at all. - We paid $500+ a night (for the worst room on the property - blinds didn’t close, close to entrance / main building where many enter). Poor service: - We asked for water to make tea and they told us to get it from the bathroom sink in our room lol. - The restaurant experience was terrible - if you’re going to try and serve a unique dining experience you need servers who can “sell” the menu and the experience. They were nice but just really green. Didn’t explain anything on the menu (i.e this pasta is served cold, vs most pasta dishes that are served warm for a main dinner dish). Continually tried to push 50euro per glass of wine (even after saying we didn’t want wine). - Servers in the morning were lovely and the breakfast was a really nice buffet, probably the only thing worth your money, but if you’re like us, we don’t eat breakfast. We felt we had to try though just to justify our payment for the hotel. - The worst part is that we found and killed multiple spiders in our room. My boyfriend was mauled by spiders in our room at night. He woke up with at least 6 spider bites. We asked for something from first-aid. They gave him a spray to use and then told him they needed it back for emergencies! This was an emergency. They should have went to the pharmacy for him. We thought maybe just we were unlucky, but friends of ours stayed in an even more expensive suite and found ants all collected under a towel in the corner of their bathroom. Staff was nice but just didn’t know how to deliver a truly 5-star hotel experience, and we’ve had experience at other 5-star hotels. Save your money and stay somewhere
All aspects were excellent.
Zero
Location in Lecce is perfect and hotel and surroundings very well looked after.Staff at this hotel were exceptional and happily assissted us with a small problem we had. Room was large and very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast well catered for and staff at breakfast very attentive. Although rather expensive, probably the best hotel we stayed in while in Puglia.
One of the best custom service you can ever experience. Very clean rooms and specious.
Location, friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Beautiful grounds
Small balcony
The outdoor gate was glass and the room was able to seen when someone look from outside.
Everything An oasis

This is an incredible hotel for art lovers. Intriguing history. Beautifully decorated and very helpful staff. We loved it!
This luxury home is very well located at the centre of Lecce, only few minutes away from Santa Croce. Attention and quality of service, kindness and friendliness of the staff is what we will remember of the hotel staff. To note, an excellent breakfast is served every morning with a large choice of cooked food and fruits. A top property!
Beautiful hotel right outside of the walled city. The rooms were beautiful and spacious and their gardens were stunning. Service was very warm. There were a few small issues (WiFi is not great, no available electrical outlet by the desk, their umbrellas were literally falling apart), but overall, it was a comfortable base to explore Lecce overnight.
A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens with a pool and olive and citrus trees. The hotel is contemporary but based on a traditional building of the locality and very harmonious, with every facility and comfort catered for. The staff are all friendly and welcoming and very helpful and the atmosphere is calming and peaceful.
Breakfast was very good, staff was great! Restaurants food prepared by the chef was very good also.
Wonderful property in an awesome location in Lecce. Stunning art throughout - beautiful gardens with a pool. great restaurant, superb staff and large excellently appointed rooms. 10/10 - be sure to see the Corso townhouse for a family occasion, stunning.
Superb location - a peaceful haven within walking distance of the city centre. Lovely sculpture garden with olive, orange and lime trees. A variety of different types of spaces to relax in a building utilizing high quality building materials. Very attentive and helpful staff. Excellent food in both quality and choice.
We had a great stay at La Fiermontina for three nights. Being right in the center of town it is well placed for sightseeing and restaurants and the hotel is very charismatic and has charming staff. We'll be sure toi come again.
Excellent location. You can’t believe the size of the rooms ! Gorgeous and very ample. Chris, Laura and Francesco make sure that we were happy. The garden, the trees so unique ! Beautiful pool, the Restaurant was so good. And “Chiarity” has an excellent attitude.
Beautiful hotel in Lecce old town, you feel like you’re tucked away from it all but still within a 5 minute walk to the Basilica. The hotel has beautiful gardens and an art collection and a fantastic restaurant. The staff go out of their way to be helpful - we really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!
This was much more than just a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. It was a unique experience to spend 3 days in a hotel with such beautiful rooms and grounds - all surrounded by the owners’ impressive collection of modern sculptures and other works of art. Management and staff were all extremely welcoming, helpful and efficient, without exception. The cuisine is first-rate. The art tour in its sister hotel, the stunning baroque Palazzo Bozzi Corso we found very interesting. The location is excellent, in the historic city centre, but yet easily reachable by car. A perfect base to explore Lecce and the entire Salento region, being equidistant from Gallipoli and the Ionian coast on the one hand, and from Otranto and the southern tip of the Adriatic coast, on the other. A real gem of a hotel!
This delightful hotel is set in a lovely private garden with green grass, lemon and olive trees. There are seating areas outside by the pool where you can relax or have a snack. The staff are extremely attentive and genuinely want you to enjoy your stay. The rooms are well appointed and the bed is extremely comfortable. The hotel chef should be congratulated on providing the best hotel breakfast with homemade pastries and delicious home baked bread. It is one of the best breakfasts I have enjoyed anywhere.
La historia del lugar es increíble y poderte quedar dentro de la muralla, más !
Quiet, stylish and artfully decorated property. Very helpful staff and excellent restaurant. Easy walks to the center of town.
We loved the renovations and the look it was beautiful.
The staff are very courteous and kind but the for a hotel of this standard some of the main staff comprehension of English is poor we experienced a few mistakes made.
This property is one of the best we’ve ever stayed in. It was on the level of hotels we stayed in for our honeymoon. The staff could not be more thoughtful, the food better, or the grounds more spectacular.
This is a pleasant hotel with generally friendly staff in a convenient location. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is good.
There were six of us, so it seemed more convenient to travel around in a seven seater car with a driver, as we did successfully in Sicily last year. Our visits to local areas seemed expensive but not excessive. However, when it came to transferring to our next hotel in Ostuni, about an hour away, we questioned what seemed to be an outrageous charge but were told it was because we would require a larger vehicle due to our luggage and there was complicated access to the hotel. Neither was true. I subsequently wrote to the hotel to query why we were charged almost 600 euros for a journey that should have cost closer to 200 euros, but was firstly ignored and have now been fobbed off with a story about their Public Manager having problems with access to emails. This is unacceptable behaviour from a supposedly five star hotel. On another matter, the pillows are very hard, but they didn’t have enough soft ones to fulfil our request to change them.
fantastic everything was just perfect: the venue, rooms, garden, staff, breakfast, position

It was stunning. The location was perfect. The facilities were superb. Breakfast was lovely.

staff expressed their pride in the property
Great boutique hotel, excellent food and great location.
Room was on the smaller side, and could have used better lighting
everything
The breakfast in the garden was memorable. The service was exceptional. They remembered how we liked our eggs cooked and that we liked toast. The breads, croissants, pastries were excellent.
We had a so called junior suite which actually was a bedroom and bathroom. Not as advertised and very expensive.
Room with a lot of noise, lack of staff
Beautiful hotel , lovely staff , owner Antonia very personable and advises on day excursions. Very comfortable and relaxing rooms and outdoor areas . Food excellent. Perfect location to explore lovely Lecce
Everything lovely except gardening and pool maintenance could perhaps be better timed so the pool is available to guests on short stays
very central spacious and elegant rooms and garden area great staff and service nothing was too much if a problem and great outdoor space for swimming and dining
Un hotel totalmente recomendable y con un ambiente muy familiar por el trato recibido . Espero volver allí a mi vuelta a Lecce.
The property was quite challenging to find and our car GPS did not locate the 'hotel'...our phone GPS was better. It was also difficult to enter the property. This is a small property and our room was off a communal area. I liked the room (we were upgraded) and the location (very central). There are a few things which could be improved such as tea and milk (for those which like tea) and a decent map of the area. I enjoyed the description of the hotel and the history but more information on the local area would have helped
A lovely hotwl with very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is typically Italian so don't expect cereals and a range of options you'd find in a large American chain. My only criticism is that the heating in the rooms (under floor) was too warm.
