Reviewed Sep 13, 2026We used Louis5 as an overnight stay on our way home. We had already been driving for 10 hours, and we were allowed to check in online and arrive at the apartment at around 10 PM. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the code we had been given to access the apartment did not work. I called the only phone number provided on Booking.com to ask for help, but they hung up on me 3–4 times. Every time they realised it was me calling again and asking for help, they simply ended the call. Eventually, a very kind man helped us, but we spent around 40 minutes outside in the evening trying to get into the apartment. After already driving for 10 hours, we really needed that time to rest and recharge before continuing our journey the next day. I find the way our situation was handled extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. So be careful if you plan to arrive late. Your access code may not work, and you cannot be sure that anyone will actually help you. In the worst case, you could end up unable to access the apartment, lose the money you paid for the stay, and have to find somewhere else to sleep late at night. Very disappointing experience.

Reviewed Aug 28, 2026Das Apartment ist ideal gelegen und gemütlich eingerichtet. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit in Heidelberg. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich und angenehm.
Leider gab es bei unserer Buchung technische Probleme beim Versand der Emails für Online Checkin und Türcode. Das war etwas nervig. Aber der telefonische Kontakt in dem Kontext war sehr angenehm und das Problem gelöst.

Durch die Nähe zum Campus ist abends bei schönem Wetter in unmittelbarer Nähe viel los und etwas laut.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Die Lage ist perfekt, nah an der Altstadt und an einem Verkehrsknotenpunkt. Trotzdem ist es ruhig in der Wohnung. Der Charakter des Hauses mit seiner Architektur und den hohen Decken ist sehr charmant. Wegen der hohen Temperaturen haben wir das Bereitstellen von mehreren Ventilatoren sehr geschätzt.
Das Sofabett war ziemlich unbequem und man konnte sich nicht geräuschlos darin drehen.

We also liked that there were multiple fans set up to help with the heat since it was one of the hottest weeks of the summer. The parking at the property was also very convenient.

Reviewed Jul 20, 2026The place is super pretty and well located, just a 3 min walk from the main street. It is well equipped and has everything a family may need in the kitchen. The hosts were very quick in providing instructions to check in, getting in and out, and it was very easy to speak to them. Also, its very convenient to have parking right at the building, which is not always the case in the city center of German cities.
If you are going there in the summer, be sure to avoid the top floor. It was boiling hot - as its a protected site, it does not have AC. We really struggled with the heat, and the apartments below were much cooler.

Danke für den Hinweis auf die Straßensperrungen wegen des Halbmarathons 😉 Die Lage ist wirklich toll, zu Fuß in ein paar Minuten in der Fußgängerzone. Auch alle Geschäfte, die man so braucht, sind fußläufig erreichbar. Das Apartment war mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, das Bett war bequem. Küche hat alles, was man braucht!
Der Parkplatz mit 20 Euro am Tag ist etwas teuer, dafür aber vor der Haustür. Und ja, ich schließe mich meinen Vorgängern an: anständige Vorhänge bzw. eine doppelläufige Schiene wären wünschenswert. Macht den tollen Aufenthalt aber nicht wirklich schlechter 😀

Wir haben die Wohnung zu viert gemietet, d.h. 2 Personen haben auf dem Schaf-Sofa im Wohnzimmer geschlafen. Das ist ziemlich ausgelegen und knarzt bei jeder Bewegung. Könnte mal erneuert werden. Die Vorhänge dunkeln nicht richtig ab, so dass die Straßenbeleuchtung in die Zimmer scheint.

The bathroom radiator started emitting a loud noise in the night. I think it broke. I had to shut it off. Also, and this isn’t the fault of the apartment, but there were a couple of loud firecrackers set off in the middle of the night and some loud drunk people one night. It b just comes with the town I suppose, but I want people to know that it can get loud outside.

Укомплектованная кухня приборами, посудой, бокалами Очень близко к Бисмарк платц откуда начинается главная пешеходная улица Тихий двор внутри университетских кампусов Общение с хозяйкой по любым вопросом очень оперативное
Гугл некорректно прокладывает путь к объекту через Фоссштрассе (там не проехать) Корректно заезжать через пересечение Бисмаркштрассе и Луизиенштрассе В зоне кухни маловато света, нужно добавить лампу поярче или доп светильник

De hygiëne liet hier en daar wat te wensen over en de bedden / kussens waren (voor ons) oncomfortabel.

Reviewed Dec 2, 2025We booked 2 apartments for our family and the doors were just feet apart, very nice! The apartments were ready upon our arrival and very clean. The hosts were very good about sending lots of emails to communicate key codes and parking procedures. The location was very close to Old town and the Christmas market, an easy walk.
Parking cost extra and was very tight. We also had to pay an extra city tax that was not mentioned when we reserved on Booking.com. We were on the ground level and there was a lot of noisy foot traffic right outside our windows. Maybe a higher level would be better, but no elevators, so maybe?

On first level, people outside our window talking and laughing late at night. We had to ask them to please respect quiet hour, which they kindly responded to our request.👍🏽 Parking is limited(understandable) , but please some consideration of cost in reservation.

Reviewed Nov 20, 2025Es ist ein sehr schönes Apartment in einer phantastischen Lage. Sehr ruhig aber in nur zwei Gehminuten gibt es alles was man brauchen könnte: Restaurants, Cafés, den Neckar, eine direkte Verbindung mit der Strassenbahn zum Bahnhof und die Innenstadt ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Das Appartment ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Auch das Schlafsofa war für uns schön hergerichtet und ist ein guter extra Schlafplatz. Ich kann das Boardinghouse Luise 5 sehr herzlich empfehlen.

Reviewed Nov 17, 2025地點座落在老城區校區內，徒步就能到熱鬧的商店街，鬧中取靜，非常夢幻的地點，設有私人停車位，就在建築物旁，非常便利！房子很大，標準的一房兩廳，廚房一應俱全，還有一張很大的餐桌，很適合小家庭開伙煮飯！人員回覆快速，一切線上處理，包括check in、停車位收費等，非常方便！
沒有電梯，但是樓梯很大很好走～

Reviewed Nov 4, 2025Это действительно отличное место по соотношению цена/качечтво. Апартаменты расположены в отлично отреставрированном историческом доме. В апартаментах тепло, хорошая чистая холодная и горячая вода. Санузел просторный и удобный. Нужно помнить о регулярном проветривании, т.к. в здании нет системы вентиляции. Но аутентичные окна очень хорошие и форточки открывать легко и интересно. Пол в жилых комнатах с паркетом, ходить можно без обуви, даже на нижнем этаже. Кухня оборудована хорошей посудой для приготовления и приема пищи. Из техники - электроплита, микроволновая печь, тостер, электрический чайник, холодильник, фен в ванной комнате. Стиральная машина и сушильная машина общего пользования в подвале - доступны для пользования. Полотенца и постельное белье новые, высокого качества. В основной спальне кровать с очень удобным матрасом. Дополнительные спальные места оборудованы на диване, который также достаточно удобный. Подушки и одеяла высокого качества и свежие. В аппартаментах достаточно мест для хранения вещей. Дизайн интерьера весьма приятный. Дом находится в самом центре города, рядом с исторической частью и набережной. При этом двор довольно тихий. Очень близко семьи с детьми могут найти 2 площадки для детей. Одна подойдет для детей до 5 лет, другая на 5-10 лет. Рядом очень много кафе и ресторанов, магазинов, культурных объектов. Возле дома есть частная парковка на 4 места, стоит 20 евро в сутки, необходимо бронировать заранее. Так же много платных паркингов в близком доступе, минимальная оплата - 20 евро в сутки.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2025Wir haben ganz kurzfristig gebucht (am gleichen Tag), hatten tollen Email Kontakt, alles hat super funktioniert. Zentral, tolles Apartment, haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Kein Parkplatz am Haus, war aber weil wir zu kurzfristig gebucht haben.

Reviewed Oct 29, 2025The apartment was spacious and exceptionally clean. The bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen facilities were perfect! The apartment is in a very accessible part of the city and the ground floor where we stayed only required a few small steps to arrive at the front door- very good for people who can't manage floors of stairs while carrying heavy suitcases. The decoration in the apartment is also lovely- so a very place to stay and only a short walk to the centre of the city.
Nothing - it was a very comfortable place to stay- spacious and quiet and exceptionally clean - close to everything.
