Excellent séjour dans un hôtel qui a beaucoup de charme!! Tout était parfait: nourriture très bonne, chambre magnifique, et le personnel d’une grande gentillesse !! La formule all-in est juste parfaite! Les cocktails sont délicieux… on hésitera pas à revenir !!

When I arrived, they upgraded my room to a premium room, which was a really nice surprise. The room was modern and comfortable, and I also had a nice balcony. Overall, I was happy with the room and really appreciated the free upgrade.

The beds were a bit too soft for my taste, and the swimming pool was a little small in my opinion. Other than that, I didn’t really have any complaints.

La Clim dans la chambre

La bouffe était degueulasse ; les boissons en plus au bar étaient trop chères ; il y’a beaucoup trop d’enfants ; je voulais quelque chose de calme et j’ai été dans une chambre encerclée d’enfants en bas âge J’ai même eu le droit en tant que seul non-blanc du séjour à une carte panini d’un joueur de football saoudien collée sur ma porte ; donc une mauvaise blague raciste de la part de jeunes sûrement ; je l’ai signalé mais j’ai été gaslit par la réception Je n’ai jamais pu changer de chambre malgré le bruit Y’a même pas de prise aux côtés du lit Le matériel électronique est très très vieux On entend des avions toutes les 5 minutes parce que l’hôtel est à côté de l’aéroport C’est très loin d’être un 4 étoiles En plus on comprend que c’est accès à la plage alors qu’en fait il faut marcher hors de l’hôtel pour y être et on a pas de transat avec l’hôtel … Bref je suis venu pour me reposer et c’était pas du tout le cas, je ne reviendrai plus jamais

Nous avons apprécié la qualité de la chambre, bénéficiant d'un surclassement.L'accueil de l'hôtel avec des personnes a notre écoute.

La prestation ménage très succincte parfois inexistante et bâclée. Tapis de bain retiré non remplacé serviette de mains retirées non remplacées. Les boissons du all inclusive a bânir, elles sont toutes très mauvaises. La lenteur au bar de certain malgré toute l'énergie de Julie.

Food was good, with plenty of variety, and there was good access to the seaside by walking. Good entertainment, especially cabaret dancers. Good mattresses and pillows for a good night's sleep. Clean surroundings. Close to the excursions office, except for the fact that something worth visiting is too far from this Hotel.

The hotel manager was ruining our stay by disallowing a large group to stay together around the swimming pool. The staff members in his presence looked very frustrated. The best time we had was when the hotel manager was off. (Family holiday. Elderly ladies felt very uncomfortable with the situation, so we doubt we will come back unless the hotel manager is replaced with someone who has better customer service skills. ) This Hotel operates at 3 stars. There is a lot that needs improvement to earn it 4 stars. Standard rooms are very outdated; premium rooms have a sink in the bedroom, and the drainage creates a smell on hotter days. Internet is set up, but not practical. If your room is not facing the garden, Crete poverty view is for your eyes.

The hotel itself is clean and on great locatoon. The food and the allinclusove drinks are well worth it.the best thing about the hotel is the staff. All in all would stay here again .

Vždy a všude bylo dokonale čisto. V době jakéhokoliv jídla vždy chodil personál a sebemenší kousek jídla, který komukoliv při nabínání jídla upadl, okamžitě uklidili. Vše bylo po stránce služeb, čistoty a personálu skvělé.

Jediné co mi opravdu vadilo byl výběr jídla. Chyběla mi možnost tam dát si na oběd a večeři vždy rýži nebo brambory. Také masa bylo po skromnu.

Am primit o camera premium in loc de cea superioara cu ocazia zilei de nastere. Recomand camera cu caldura, este situata intr-un corp nou de cladire, are un concept modern, este spatioasa si foarte curata. Intreg personalul a fost foarte amabil, le multumesc tuturor. Doresc sa felicit personalul responsabil cu prepararea hranei, care a fost de o calitate pe care nu am intalnit-o decat foarte rar. De asemenea cocteilurile preparate la barul de langa piscina au fost minunate, servite in pahare specifice, care erau racite cu gheata in prealabil

Chambre très spacieuse. Salle de bain de bonne taille (par rapport aux autres hôtels où nous avons été en Crète). Petit déjeuner varié

On a reçu une chambre supérior à celle qu'on a réservé. La tranquillité des lieux, les massages spa, la gentillesse du personnel.

Ça sera bien de trouver un moyen de couvrir la lumière très de température à l'appareil climatisation et avoir un petit coussin en bas des portes car la lumière forte du couloir pénétre dans la chambre.

Great value for money, room was cleaned perfectly every morning, staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect hotel for a couple chill vacation. Very cosy place with authentic greek vibe. Beautiful gardens with a lot of flowers. As for food, the cuisine is actually various and every day you can choose different dishes, the restaurant staff also were really nice and helpful. 5 mins on foot to the closest beach (great for snoorkeling by the way), ~7 mins to a beach with sand. It is also worth mentioning the pool and the bar by the pool — the drinks were nice and the atmosphere was honestly great. Overall, we are very satisfied with the stay at Hara Ilios Village. We are hoping to come back some day.

Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig mit einem großen Balkon und einem renovierten Bad. An der Sauberkeit konnte man nichts bemängeln 👍 Das Frühstück war jeden Tag gleich, hatte aber alles was man brauchte. Ich würde das Hotel nur mit Frühstück empfehlen.

Das Abendessen, allgemein die warmen Speisen waren nicht ansprechend und auch nicht genießbar. Weit weg von 4 Sterne Hotel. Der Speiseraum strahlt auch keinerlei Atmosphäre aus. Keine Möglichkeit zum draußen essen.

Le calme et la tranquillité, parfaits pour se reposer. La nourriture est très bonne avec pas mal de choix chaque jour. Un énorme big up à Constantinos, toujours aux petits soins au bar — une vraie valeur sûre et un atout pour cet hôtel !

Нам в этом отеле много чего понравилось, особенно современные номера с бассейном. Нам повысили категорию номера, это было приятно за что мы очень благодарны. Территория очень красивая и чистая, персонал приветливый. Особенно понравились услуги массажа, Алла отличный мастер и добрый человек, с удовольствием взяла бы снова и всем советую, никогда не пожалеете.

What a find! A lovely hotel with fantastic and friendly staff, especially Anna on reception who couldn’t have been more helpful. We were bed and breakfast and the breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. If we needed to leave early for a tour they would kindly open breakfast a bit earlier. The superior room we had was modern, innovative in design and clean. The pool area was lovely and relaxing and the pool bar had delicious food and drinks available to order. Outside the hotel was a selection of restaurants and a special mention to Restaurant Island for its amazing food, incredible location right on the edge of the sea and entertainment. For our plans, the location was perfect and we hired a car to get to everywhere we wanted to visit.

Reception service is fine. The stuff used gloves for handling the food and you can find dishes every time during the dinner/breakfast. The cleanliness is maintained in the whole location. We participated on a traditional cretan night.

Food is acceptable, the quality is mediocre, nothing special. There are pancakes available for breakfast, unfortunately they contain black scrubs, they are prepared on the same grill as the eggs. The pillows are extremely soft, I did feel I had a pillow, far away from being a quality one. In the end, I really don't like that during the Cretan night, someone from the hotel took photos with us and next day after breakfast, they tried to sell us - 1 photo costs 10 euros, 2 photos cost 15 euros. I did no like this approach, like a forced one.

This hotel is a wonderful choice. It’s clean, looks beautiful, personell is very friendly, the rooms are spacious, nice pool, enough choices during breakfast. It’s the best spot to really slow down and relax

Es war ein super Urlaub für uns.Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Paar für eine Woche dort.Wir kamen erst am späten Abend an und wurden dennoch mit einem reichlichen und guten Essen verköstigt.Das Zimmer war super modern und dennoch gemütlich. Ich denke,es war ein neu gebautes Haus.Wir hatten jeden Tag beim Frühstück und Abendessen genügend Auswahl.Die Küche war griechisch inspiriert, was man bedenken sollte,wenn man ggfs diese nicht so mag. Wir finden aber,dass es zu einem Aufenthalt auf Kreta selbstverständlich dazu gehört. Besonders gut war die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter. Es gab uns Gästen ein besonders starkes Gefühl des Willkommenseins. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür.Für uns war selbstverständlich, dass wir uns den Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeitern gegenüber genauso freundlich verhalten haben.Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub.

The staff/owners went above and beyond in their attention as well as should there be any problems they with dealt with ASAP. As our taxi airport transfer wasn’t due until 1400 hrs they allowed us to check out late obviously this is dealt with a case by case as the hotel occupancy at any one time may effect the possibility.

1) The area outside the village [ It was in effect an oasis] was a bit dilapidated with rough undeveloped land not befitting such a lovely complex as Hara Ilios Village. 2) Not Hara Iilos’s fault but Booking.com description of some of the the items that were supplied did not mention they were chargeable items. 3) Although it indicated that Amex credit cards were accepted on the sign board outside reception, they do not. 4) Not the hotel’s fault but it would have been nice if a pharmacy were near by.

Loved our stay here at Hara Ilios, we went for one of the rooms with private pool which was lovely. The main pool area was great, not too busy during our stay and the pool itself was perfect. Definitely the staff at the bar and the amazing food & drinks were our highlight, they were super friendly & attentive. The place was very clean and our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, it was immaculate. The cleaning staff did leave our terrace door open every day and our room was right on the main path through the hotel so I wouldn’t recommend leaving anything important in the room during the day, or use the safe. The bed and linen are super comfortable and the room had everything we needed. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices & all delicious. We only had dinner at the hotel once, buffet style and we went quite late so there wasn’t very much available & I didn’t really enjoy it. There are loads of great restaurants around so would recommend checking them out rather than eating at the hotel in the evening. There’s a few small beaches a short walk away. Location was perfect for us, and we really enjoyed exploring the area.

The air-con in our room stopped cooling the room after a few days, the heat was unbearable at night and we couldn’t leave our patio door open as the cats came onto the terrace at night. I asked the reception to check out the air con and they sent round maintenance straight away however he said there was nothing he could do. So we had a few uncomfortable hot nights with no sleep. Our terrace with private pool was in the shade apart from 1 hour of the day so the pool was way too cold to use unfortunately, but I suspect later in the year it would be better.

Very kind and helpful stuff. Room and hotel were very clean. Good location - few minutes walk to the beach, restaurants and stores. Nice relaxing swimming pool with nice bar attached to it.

Food was subpar and not tasty. You have to pay extra to get water at dinner or to get cappuccino in the breakfast. Even simple glass of water was not available which is not acceptable at those prices. The shower’s hot water was not strong enough. No conditioner was available. The tv had only few news channels and no possibility to use anything else like Netflix.

Breakfast was exceptional.

The buffet could have been hotter. Plenty of choices but salads were excellent

if possible, choose rooms with privat pool - they are with great design !!! perfect !

As I understood the hotel is in tranformation process. because of that lobby and breakfast room are old fashionwd, but service was good. Just one thing - aditional charge for water at the breakfast is not good.

Très bon séjour au sein de l’hôtel : personnel aimable et aux petits soins pour les clients. Piscine très sympa avec transats. Mer à 10 mn à pied de l’hôtel avec une eau transparente ! Buffets pdj et dîner variés et copieux. Bref une semaine de rêve !!

We paid for one of the largest superior family rooms, unfortunately we ended up in a room with 1 camp bed, it took 2 nights before this was resolved. We purposefully paid for proper beds due to having older teenagers. To be honest, this put a real dampener on the holiday, no form of a refund was offered, despite the price difference. We were told by 2 different reception staff that the manager would be in touch, this didn't happen and emails ignored. It's expensive - drinks, food etc. Breakfast is adequate but far from exceptional. It is a bit of a walk to anywhere. The power continues to go off in the evening, on one evening we were under the powerline and witnessed the loud bang and sparks.

We were put in a room with no working tv and on showing our disappointment, we were moved to a dirty old room with no amenities that we paid for & on top of all that, they wanted to charge us for extras we had already paid for, very poor

Very specious, clean and bright room, great hammock area, trees in the little gardens. Very friendly staff.

Music by the bar/pool could be quieter.

The location was good but is not 50 metres from a beach that you can sit at, it is a good 15/20 minute walk to a nice beach. it is 50 metres from the coast. Breakfast was good but you have to pay for WATER! The bar was nice. The grounds and general decor was of a high quality.

We stayed in brand new room, the design of which was awful. The toilet and shower - which both had opaque non-soundproof doors on - were directly adjacent to the bed, so there was very little privacy and if one person put the light on for the loo in the night it lit up the entire room for the other person. The sink was so close to the bed that if you weren’t careful you could splash the person lying in it! The corridor door were also completely ineffective at keeping out the noise, luckily there weren’t many guests in the block, but the workmen and the maids all showed up at about 7:30! There was air con but it couldn’t be turned any lower than 24 degrees.

Weitläufige, ruhige Anlage etwas abseits vom "grossen Rummel". Grosse Zimmer und guter Service. Feine Küche mit griechisch/kretischen Spezialitäten. Meine Erwartungen während des einwöchigen Aufenthaltes wurden vollumfänglich erfüllt.

De medewerkers waren zeer behulpzaam en staan echt voor je klaar. Geweldig uitzicht en genoeg te doen in de omgeving.

L’hotel Est très bien situé à kato gouves, à 5mîn à pied de la plage et des restaurants . Les chambres standards sont situées un peu à l’ecart De l’hotel , sur le côté mais elles sont sont spacieuses avec un frigo et un évier en plus . Le côté piscine est agréable mais le regret est que la piscine est trop profonde . Concernant la formule de restaurant , c’est européen et je trouve dommage de ne pas mettre de plats et de spécialités grecques à la carte . Rien à dire quant à la propreté . Tout le personnel est très gentil et aux soins des touristes pour conseiller des visites et fournir des explications . Bref je recommande cet hôtel .

Godt hotel med en fin pool og godt poolområde med både sol og skygge. Personalet er venligt og smilende og taler fint engelsk. Det er nemt at være gæst her. Rigtig god morgenmadsbuffet med mange valgmuligheder og god kaffe. Sengene var gode og store. Selv om det er et turistområde er der roligt om natten. Der er 150 meter til stranden og mange spisesteder, supermarkeder og souvenirbutikker i området. Desuden går der en bus til Heraklion og lufthavnen oppe fra landevejen. Vi havde en dejlig afslappet uge på hotellet og kan varmt anbefale det til andre.

Voilà déjà 5 as que je me rends en Crète pour mes vacances. La première année j'ai trouvé cet hôtel qui correspondrait parfaitement à mes attentes. J'ai depuis chercher à renouveler mon séjour, toujours aussi agréable, comme les crétois, dans cet hôtel où même l'équipe n'a pratiquement pas changé...si vous dire si le fond de cette entreprise est sain. Je recommande à tous les vacanciers amateur de tranquillité, de climat famillal, sans en oublier les fêtes typique du sirtaki et toute la gentillesse locale. Bonnes vacances à tous à Hara Ilios. PS je planifie déjà mon voyage de l'année prochaine. Cordialement crétois

Stayed one night. Very lovely pool with terrasse and bar. Staff was very pleasant. Breakfast and dinner was good. Room was large and clean. Walking distance of a small but lovely beach. Very tranquille stay, will come back certainly.

Stayed here for a few days. The room was pretty decent although I didn't have a tv or any toiletries provided. That wasn't a huge problem for me however. The beach was a 5 min walk away so that was nice. The pool was a decent size and plenty of sun beds. The staff were very helpful and nice. Pretty good breakfast spread given the price. Definitely value for money.

They are so attentive to all your needs it's really great. The day manager gave me a lift to the nearest chemist when I couldn't get my bearings. On my birthday I received a gift from and greeting from all the staff, this was not called for and so lovely of them to consider. My daughters and I had a great time, the sea was a short walk away and of course it was excellent!!

Lovely hotel, very clean, staff very friendly & helpful, lots of loungers so no problem lying by pool.
