Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, es wurde sogar veganes Frühstück für uns zubereitet.

Das japanisch-western Zimmer war angenehm. Der Onsen war groß und gut. Mit Aussicht auf das Meer. Die Yukataauswahl war cool. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und super hilfsbereit.

Ich empfehle nicht die japanischen Tatamizimmer. Sie sind zu sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

The Japanese Ryokan breakfast was extraordinary!!! And the outdoor onsen was just perfect at night, I was soaking in onsen under the stars! The staff are all polite, friendly and helpful. The sea view from our room was amazing!!!

It’d be even more wonderful if the restaurant could allow walk-in guest for dinner, but it’s not a complaint really because I know how seriously Japanese take meal preparation.

車イス表示があったので、こちらを選んだのですが…1階のフロアの小さな(低い)階段のスロープとエレベーターがある以外は、部屋は車イス利用にとっての利用しやすさは何もなかったです。 1階あたりによくある、優先トイレもなく、部屋のトイレも特に手すりなども無く、普通のままのユニットバス+トイレで、利用しづらかったです 予約前に電話で確認したら良かったなと思ってます 車イス利用者以外には影響はないのですが。

スタッフの対応や、食事は良かったと思うが、客室内に置いてある加湿空気清浄機が埃まみれで、スイッチを入れると埃が飛んできたり、客室前の廊下に細かなゴミがいくつか落ちていたし、布団敷きの最後は、自分でひろげてひいて下さいとの事だったので、人手が足らないかも知れませんが、もう少し細かな事にも配慮して欲しかったと思いました。

Super petit déjeuner, différent chaque matin, avec vue sur la mer. Ne pas hésiter à profiter du très bel onsen extérieur! L'hôtel est à 10 minutes à pieds de la gare, d'où on accède facilement au Kumano Kodo.

温泉の水量（給水管の故障後で）不足

お食事の他、レストラン、廊下に設置してあるお水が美味しかったです。

一階のお部屋でした。エレベーターを利用せず便利な反面、薄暗い感じが到着時に非常に不安になりました。同じフロアに他にも宿泊者さんいるかしら？と。 ドアの施錠が50年ぐらいのボタンのみ、洗面温水器が故障とかで水漏れで床まで染み出し、電源の入らない空気清浄機と、、あまり利用されていなかったのでしょうか。(修繕係のスタッフさんは、一生懸命対応してくださいました。） 9ヶ月前にも別の階に宿泊しましたが、今回はちょっと残念でした。

We chose this hotel because it was near the Kii-Katsura station, so we could easily head back to Osaka to catch our flight--it's only an 8-10 minute walk from the station. The hotel is like a blend of traditional and modern hotel chains, with activities suited to different groups, particularly families (who would enjoy the game room), and a free noodle bar. The indoor onsen was not as nice as others I've been to, but the outdoor onsen was magnificent!

Unlike other Japanese-style accommodations we stayed in on this trip, we had to set up our own futons. Although our room supposedly had an ocean view, our view was really a parking lot! Book your dinner reservation early, or you may have to eat a lot later, and service isn't particularly fast.

Bardzo klimatyczna okolica, wyjątkowy widok na bezkresny ocean, znakomity personel, bardzo otwarty i sympatyczny zespół kelnerski, pyszne kolacje w stylu keiseki (świeże ryby, słynny dla tego regionu tuńczyk).

Pokoje są mocno przestarzałe, na pewno wymagają remontu.

海側を予約したのでロケーションがとても良かった。平日だった事もあり、値段が安かったが、朝食はとても美味しかった。 温泉大浴場にも満足。

施設は古め。でも困るような部分は、何もなかった。

温泉のお湯が良かった。脱衣所も清潔で快適でした。朝ごはんは盛り付けもきれいでおいしかった。

夜中に気がついたが、部屋の窓の鍵が壊れていて、そのせいか隙間風の音がヒューヒューとうるさく眠れなかった。部屋のバスルームはホコリのような嫌な臭いがして薄暗く気味悪かった。部屋のエアコンも古くてずっとカラカラ音がうるさく不快だった。リニューアルしたと聞いて楽しみにしていたのに、一階がきれいなだけで宿泊階は古い旅館のようだった。せんべい布団で体も痛くて次の日は本当にしんどかった。

浴室門簾有點髒

When you enter the hotel, you are greeted by a very beautiful lobby and friendly staff. Some staff spoke English, which helped. The hotel has a large souvenir shop, ping pong room, and arcade, which were fun too. We stayed here for the close proximity to Kumano Kodo and because we could have a private onsen. The Japanese room was quite large, and with some sliding doors, worked really well for our family of five, since we could close off some spaces for showering, changing, and for lights for those awake and sleeping. Overall, we had a good experience!

We stayed in the large Japanese room, which may not be used often. It showed some signs of age and had a musty odor. There was also some dust buildup on the lights and slats between rooms. The main surprise was - It does not have an indoor shower! The shower is outside with the onsen. With July humidity and heat, and the slight sulfur smell from the onsen, it wasn't the most comfortable experience to use as Americans. The town around the hotel is very rundown, but we felt safe when taking some walks. The Western rooms may be nicer and match the very updated lobby and communal areas of the hotel.

Das traditionelle japanische Essen war hervorragend. Auch in unserem Appartment und im traditionellen Onsen haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

In den Badezimmern besteht renovierungsbedarf insbesondere die Türen zu den Duschen entsprechen nicht den Erwartungen in einem 4 Sterne Hotel..

オーシャンビューがとても良かった。今回は出かけていることが多かったが、1日中ゆっくり客室で過ごしたいなと思える環境だった。 ご飯もとても美味しかった。祭りと日程が被って海外からの宿泊客が多く混雑していたにも関わらず丁寧に案内やお料理の説明などをして貰えた。 アメニティも充実しているし、シャンプーリンスが選び放題になっているのは面白かった。

Really liked the fresh tuna sashimis for dinner and the rest of the seasonal fare. Breakfast was also very good; upscale version of traditional Japanese breakfast. The onsens were surprisingly empty; it was nice to have the facilities almost to myself The coffee bar was a nice touch to relax in, along with the mini library.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß. Das Frühstück war traditionell japanisch und sehr reichhaltig. Zusätzlich gab es einen Bereich, wo es kalte und heiße Getränke gab und man konnte sich selbst bedienen. Zudem war die Unterkunft nur ein paar Gehminuten vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Loved the location and how close it was to the Nachi waterfall! The staff were lovely and late night ramen and games room were a hit! Loved the private onsen room and the public onsen outside has a gorgeous view! They have some tattoo covers for us to go to the public onsen (however for beige skin tones and not quite big enough for some of our body art).

It is a charming, but slightly dated hotel probably more targeted toward local guests. We were fine with communication in English when it was needed, but just good for western guests to know! We had some of our party that was less adventurous in that way than others, but by the end of the stay, all were happy.

お食事について、夕食朝食共にとても素晴らしく美味しく頂きました。 大浴場を利用した際、シャンプーリンスの備はありましたが、お試しという感じでいく種類か の用意があり少量を自分で選べるシステムは他のホテルにはない特別感がありました。

Pas d' info au check in pour les petits déjeuner et dinner. Du coup on nous a refusé l'accès au restaurant pour le dinner et pas pu prendre le petit dejeuner non plus avec ma famille. Du jamais vu dans tous mes voyages. Meme pas essayé de trouver une solution.. Un non categorique aucun sens du service surgout quand y a des enfants. Heureusement qu' il y a un family mart à 5 min.

Good scenery

My mother and I, both Brazilians of Japanese descent, had a truly unique and unforgettable experience. The hotel and its entire staff are impeccable. Our room was exceptionally comfortable, spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Since I have tattoos, we chose to book a private onsen. However, the hotel also provides tattoo-covering stickers for guests who wish to use the public onsen. The dining experience was simply outstanding. Every dish featured incredibly fresh ingredients, prepared with great care and presented beautifully while honoring traditional Japanese cuisine. This is not a destination for mass tourism. During our stay, we noticed that most of the guests were Japanese, which, to us, speaks volumes about the authenticity, tradition, and quality of the experience. I highly recommend it and sincerely hope to return. The town itself is charming, peaceful, and wonderfully quiet. It is also the gateway to the Kumano Kodo, one of the world's very few pilgrimage routes recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The ocean view is wonderful. Friendly staff with spacious room. The complimentary noodle bar is definitely a plus. There were some entertainment facilities available but seem to be quite outdated and in need of some maintenance. Breakfast was a beautiful Japanese style meal featuring all local ingredients.

The sewage smell from the bathroom was quite strong even with ventilation on.

We chose the half-board (breakfast and dinner included) package, and it was absolutely worth it. The meals were traditional and delicious, and the service was outstanding. We stayed in a traditional Japanese tatami room for four, which offered beautiful views of both the nearby ocean and a distant waterfall. The highlight of our stay was definitely the outdoor hot spring (rotenburo)—so relaxing! On top of that, they offer great perks like a free coffee bar and complimentary ramen in the evening. A truly wonderful stay!

Ottimo hotel, pulito, dotato di molti servizi, cena buonissima e staff estremamente gentile e disponibile. Peccato per i tatuaggi, non ammessi nelle vasche comuni se non coperti con appositi cerotti forniti in reception, ma l’hotel è provvisto di stanze dotate di onsen privato, molto molto bello.

食事と温泉施設

The best parts of my stay were the ocean view from my room - phenomenal - and the outdoor onsen. The morning sunrise was spectacular, and I could even see Nachi Falls. The staff was also very professional and accommodating. The lobby is lovely and set up for taking photos (3 different backdrops) and there is free coffee in the cafe. The hotel shop was also very nice, and there is a play/gaming area to keep kids entertained.

My meals were delicious and quite lovely, though the service felt a bit rushed. The room could use some refreshing here and there, and beware of all the changing floor heights, especially going from inside to the outside balcony. It's easy to trip and hurt yourself.

Breakfast and dinner were great, onsen bath was very nice.

フロントの対応がイマイチでした。感じはいいのですが、例えば、せっかくの世界遺産がある町なので、その場所に行く手段くらいはきちんと答えて欲しかったです。 また、お部屋の清掃は見えるところ以外にも、例えば空気洗浄機はフィルターの掃除をした方がいいかと。 大浴場も、朝行ったのに髪の毛がたくさん落ちていて、脱衣所や露天のお庭など、お掃除をもう少ししてもらった方がいいと思いました。

駅からも近く、お食事も大変満足できました。

館内が広くていいのですが、一番奥の部屋だったためか、少し迷路的な感じでわかりにくかった。

食事の時のスタッフの対応がすごく丁寧で良かった。特に言葉の使い方が良かった。こころが休まりました。

ネットで予約した部屋が、行ってみたら全く違う部屋でがっかりしました。満室で変更も効かず、泣き寝入り状態で本当に残念だった。もう二度とネットで予約しません。

Wir waren drei Nächte dort. Das schöne, große, saubere Zimmer im japanischen Stil mit Blick auf die Bucht hat uns gut gefallen. Es gab zudem noch einen Bereich mit Korbstühlen. Sehr angenehm, wenn man nicht so gern auf dem Boden sitzt. Es gibt einen schönen Onsen mit Außenbereich. Sowohl beim Abendessen als auch beim Frühstück gab es Variationen im japanischen Menue. Die Erklärung zum Ablauf haben wir nicht immer verstanden, zu den Inhalten gab es eine Menü-Übersicht. Das Abendessen war immer lecker. Das Hotel ist ca. 10 min. fußläufig vom Bahnhof entfernt.

Beim check-in hat man es zu gut gemeint mit Infos zum Hotel, da alles ohnehin als Infoblatt vorhanden ist. Abgesehen von einigen Mitarbeitern am Empfang waren die Englisch-Kenntnisse spärlich. Das Hotel ist nicht mehr neu, aber wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

I loved the daily meals for breakfast and dinner. They were absolutely delicious and I could not ask for more. The view from both the restaurant and my room was amazing. The tatami mat room that I had was perfect.

The distance from the station to the hotel was a bit of a journey. I wish that the aircon instructions were a bit better defined, but that is on me. The bathtub in the bathroom was somewhat small, though I only used it due to not utilizing the on site onsen.

Great hotel with friendly staff, plenty of amenities -including a perfect sized yukata- , great ocean view from the room, comfy beds (even on the floor), large onsen with 3 pools, very rich Japanese style breakfast, we regret not getting dinner as well.

Kamer die wij hadden was redelijk oud en een beetje muf. Prachtig uitzicht vanuit de kamer. Zou leuk zijn als er stoeltjes op het balkon waren. Dan kan je er nog iets beter van genieten. Tatamimatten lagen goed en het eten was erg lekker. Wees wel op tijd bij het eten, anders krijg je de gerechten heel snel achter elkaar door geserveerd. Onsen was heerlijk, maar je betaalt er wel een extra toeslag voor.

バリアフリーの配慮が乏しいでしょ？

Un très bon hôtel bien situé, à 10-15mn à pieds de la Gare de Kii-Katsuura (ou taxi si besoin) ; facile d'accès en train depuis Wakayama ou Nagoya. Très bien accueillis, personnel sympathique et efficace. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner sont de bonne qualité. Nous étions en chambre traditionnelle avec futons et onsen privé. Bien agréable pour quelques bains privés avec une vue directe sur la mer (pour des raisons de sécurité la petite haie est dernière le haut du mur anti-tsunami, mais on la voit bien puisqu'il n'est pas trop haut). D'autres types de chambres sont disponibles en étages si on préfère ne pas être en rez-de-chaussée et des lits de style occidental. Pour tous sont disponibles en chambre les yukatas traditionnels indispensables, et le onsen public de l'hôtel est vraiment bien avec deux bains extérieurs dont un grand qui est un bonheur sous les étoiles...La gare étant assez proche de l'hôtel, il est facile de se rendre au bus permettant de rejoindre la grande chute d'eau de Nachi-Katsuura (demander à la réception de l'hôtel le flyer de ses horaires en arrivant pour bien s'organiser), la forêt, le village et les temps qui l'entourent ; le must de cette région. Prévoir d'y passer une journée complète, et donc si en demi-pension le petit déjeuner est à réserver tôt (7h00 est bien) et tard pour le dîner (19h00 ou 19h30 selon ce qui est disponible). Prévoir des chaussures de marche correctes.

Rien de majeur. Toute de même quelques moustiques en avril dans cette chambre avec onsen privé en rez-de-chaussée, donc prévoir une prise anti-moustiques peut être judicieux en cas de nécessité dans ces chambres traditionnelles.

Authentic Rooms: The rooms are traditional Japanese style—very cozy, clean, and pleasant to stay in. Incredible Food: The food was outstanding! You can really tell that a lot of thought, care, and effort went into preparing every single meal.

Water Issues & Staff Response: There was a water outage in the morning, making it impossible to take a shower. Unfortunately, the staff didn't seem to acknowledge or treat it as a real problem

Un ryokan moderne très confortable et avec de très bon repas. Parfait à la fin de la kumano kodo!

一泊二食晚餐早餐都非常棒。地理位置離車站步行約十分鐘。

入住當晚天氣預報隔天會下雨，問了櫃台如果下雨可以幫忙叫計程車嗎? 櫃檯的意思應該是飯店因為離車站太近，很難叫到計程車，無法幫忙預約叫車。我自行查看國際叫車系統，似乎也無法預約叫車。飯店位置離最近的公車站與那智勝浦火車站只有一站的距離，加上公車班次少，於是決定直接步行十分鐘將行李推到火車站。Check out前一晚整理行李，把衣物都用防水袋再包裝一層。Check out當天早上下雨，問了櫃檯是否有大的塑膠袋把行李箱上層包覆起來，避免雨水過大落入行李箱內，櫃台回覆說沒有。這樣的距離撐傘在雨中步行十分鐘到火車站，行李箱難免被雨水淋濕。美中不足的地方。
