Leider gabs im Hotel selber am Sonntag kein Abendessen - es hatte aber ein Foodtruck vor dem Haus und in der Ortschaft weitere Restaurants.

Tolle Lage für den SWCP, sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Essen

Super gelegen für uns als Wanderer auf dem SWCP. Dazu war sowohl abends als auch morgens das Essen lecker, alles sauber und alle äußerst nett. Daher klare Empfehlung! Und wer keine Schwierigkeiten mit Gemeinschaftsbädern hat, wird sich wie wir sehr wohl fühlen.

Freundliche, saubere Zimmer. Etagenkühlschrank mit Wasser und Milch. Tolles Frühstück und auch Abendessen.

Location, great staff. Thoughtful touches like extra beach towels.

Wasn’t apparent ( until check out), that drinks ordered at table service were not on the dining tab! Only a small thing but a bit annoying.

The room was cosy, big, clean and confortable, and so was the bathroom.

Food and beer excellent. There was even traditional Cornish singing in the bar which was really special. Incredible value for money.

I was walking the coastal path with friends. Portreath Arms was a wonderful place to stay, the bedroom was beautiful and the bed extremely comfortable and the bathroom high spec. However the my main recommendation is that the staff were so helpful. Ann was kind, flexible , eager to please and meet my needs . My meal is their restaurant was delicious . They provide a basket for items that you might forget, eg phone cahrger/ ear plugs! I didn't need them but it was a thoughtful addition I have not seen before

Really friendly staff, location perfect as close walking distance to beach, harbour and cafes. Food was great, and a lovely outside area to chill out and relax in. Parking outside a bonus, definitely worth visiting again

Lovely pub / hotel close to the beach. Excellent value with everything you need for a pleasant stay in Cornwall. Lots of little extras available like beach towels and fresh milk in the fridge for your morning coffee. Comfortable room and a nice pub for a drink and food. Portreath is a lovely spot.

Property was in a lovely condition nicely renovated and great location so close to the beach.

Sadly the shower let the room down hugely. The family room 1 was so immaculate with nice furnishings and sadly a very poor electric shower that went from boiling to freezing. Sadly the noise from the pub was extremely bad so bad non of us got to bed till 12.30am and with two kids this wasn’t acceptable. I had hoped by 11pm staff would have asked those customers drinking outside shouting and screaming for hours to have quietened down or to go indoors so my kids could sleep. Sadly that didn’t happen, we were left to endure the noise till way past midnight. If you advertise family rooms you need to accommodate families with kids. The breakfasts was amazing great value in the price but very early for holiday makers to eat by 9am another suggestion would be to extend it just to 10am rather. For adults it’s an amazing place to stay but I don’t recommend for families. A fan in the room would be a good idea too with the uk summers being so hot.

Wonderful staff - all were friendly and helpful. Modern, clean pub with great facilities. Appreciated the availability of chilled water and beach towels. There were excellent vegetarian and vegan options for dinner and breakfast.

The room was quite hot (top floor in a heat wave) but there was a fan. Not much else they could do other than install Aircon.

Absence de climatisation

Dicht bij het strand, aardig personeel en heerlijk avondeten. Matrassen zijn goed. De bedden van de kamer met éénpersoonsbedden waren groot genoeg en lagen heerlijk De ventilator aan het plafond in de hoek.

Erg klein tweepersoonsbed.. Erg licht in de kamers, want maar lichte gordijnen en tot twaalf uur erg rumoerig, doordat er allemaal mensen buiten op het terras zitten Het was er erg warm. Tv ontvangst in één van de twee kamers erg slecht. We misten een stoel om even op te zitten. Ontbijt tot maximaal negen uur is soms wat vroeg.

The staff were super helpful. We were walking The SWC path and left before breakfast. We were provided with some bits to go which was very much appreciated.

La struttura pulita e avente tutto quello che serve, la sorpresa è stata la cucina sia a cena che colazione. Piatti davvero ben cucinati, ampia scelta di menù ricercato e ben cucinato. È stata davvero una sorpresa dopo una lunghissima carrellata di hamburger e fish and chips. Il personale davvero disponibile e cortese.

Lovely room in perfect location for SWCP. Delicious evening meal and breakfast! All the staff really friendly, helpful and welcoming.

There was nothing to dislike.

Breakfast was excellent, very friendly pub and the food was also great. Short walk to the beach for an early swim. Ill stay there again

Nice pub. It was near to the beach, clean, modern and well equipped with quality linen. Even though a shared bathroom it was clean, close and not busy. Dressing gowns were handy for bathroom use. Nice to have a beach towel too. Breaky was fresh and made to order. Our best stay so far in the UK. thank you.

Wir mussten ins Bad und auf die Toilette über den Flur. Nachts war das vor allem blöd, weil die Zimmertüre nicht leise verschließbar war.

The curtains were too thin so the room was bright too early. Masterator toilet was loud from the room next door so woke me up, but I guess that's hard to fix

Mooie plek, gastvrij en service van fijne medewerkers en lekker eten.

Ik had een kamer met gedeelde badkamer, dat wist ik van tevoren en dus prima. Maar dat het zo gehorig zou zijn? Ik kon echt elk kuchje van de buren in de kamer naast mij horen. Dat was niet fijn.

We loved the 1 night we stayed at this property. The staff were very friendly and had food ready and waiting for us at 9pm when we arrived late after phoning on ahead. The breakfast was excellent.

Sehr liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück - Grosszügig! Das Zimmer war einfach, aber sehr hübsch eingerichtet. Badezimmer direkt auf dem Flur war sauber und immer zugänglich, trotz anderer Gäste. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis war das Beste auf unserer 2-Monatigen Reise in England!

Alles in one, ontbijt verzorgd, diner in het restaurant zeer goed, vriendelijk & behulpzaam personeel ( Familiebedrijf). Kamers goed geisoleerd. Ondanks vrijdag & zaterdagavond met live music sluit de pub om 23.00u waarbij het erna zeer rustig was. Ruime parking onder camera (waren er met de motor)

I especially liked the green arm chair in my room :-). They have lots of helpful things for travellers. The restaurant is quite good but a bit loud. Staff is very friendly.

Sehr nettes Team. Kühlschrank im Flur mit Milch und Wasser. Zudem Box mit diversen Kleinigkeiten, die vergessen gehen könnten - nette Idee. Frühstück war sehr gut, glutenfrei möglich.

We had the two bed room. It was clean, it was cozy :) Best place to stay in Portreath :D We also had lunch and breakfast there. Just wonderful!!

Husband absolutely loved his quality homemade steak pie! We both really enjoyed our breakfast, shout out to the chef :) All the staff & our room were great.

The hotel was perfect and our room had everything we needed. They even supply little extras which is such a lovely touch. The staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. We had an evening meal there which was great and breakfast was super. Set us up nicely for our long walk.

The rooms were beautifully furnished, with little touches available like slippers, robes and fresh milk and chilled water to help yourself to. The staff were wonderfully friendly and accommodating, and gave me great recommendations and directions about where to eat while walking the coastal path. The food was FABULOUS - I had both dinner and breakfast and the food was all fantastic quality and cooked to perfection. Would definitely stay again and recommend!

Portreath Arms located in the centre square of Portreath , walking distance to the harbour, shops, cafes , beach and access to the Coastal walking path . Free house that has great selection of beers on tap, food is excellent, plenty of it and well priced. Premises and rooms super clean and comfortable. The friendliest staff you will come across!

If your a light sleeper you may hear the cars on the nearby road

Die Lage und das sehr gute Frühstück

Die Dusche - das warme Wasser wird durch eine Art Durchlauferhitzer bereitgestellt, was überhaupt nicht richtig funktionierte. Die Temperatur wurde nicht gehalten - erst wurde das Wasser sehr heiß und dann plötzlich sehr kalt (im ständigen Wechsel). Auch die Wassermenge konnte nicht reguliert werden.

Super leckeres Essen, besonders der Pie und die Muscheln. Personal super nett.

Room was small for 3 adults. Sofa Bed was uncomfortable.
