JR East Hotel Mets Musashisakai

Good property and next to station and shopping areas. Breakfast arrangement apart of the hotel charges. But the breakfast arrangement is not good

Great value and super helpful staff

Location was fantastic. Right at the train station. Also you can go across the street for Uniqlo, Muji, Loft and lots of restaurants and bakeries are nearby. Room is small, I reserved 3 beds for family of three. There were no space to open up our suits cases lol. Other than that, beds were great and we had a really nice stay!

Very convenient location and helpful staff. I forgot an item after check-out and they held it for me and helped me pick it up. Very good experience overall.

Great location, right next to the station (though quiet). Good to spend time where locals live their everyday lives (not touristy), quieter than w/in Tokyo and easy to take day trips from here.

Excellent service and very comfortable, well thought out room. Will definitely return.

New, clean hotel, very close to the train and the bus. No noise in the rooms.

breakfast almost non-existent. Room service absent. What does the eco system have to do with not making the bed? in general exorbitant cost for what they offer.

This is such a great hotel with so many places to eat and shop right downstairs. Plus, the bus depot and train station are right next door. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

All was terrific, thank you!

Right beside the rail station, so convenient to head back to after a day of exploring.

It was disappointing. It is not very kid friendly. The breakfast wasn’t provided for young children and even after asking the front desk about the lack of breakfast vouchers they gave us misinformation that we wouldn’t need them to get breakfast for our two youngest kids. The breakfast options were very limited. The room had majorly chipping paint on the window sills. Massive accumulation or dust in the corners of the room and the bathroom wasn’t fully cleaned when we got there. My 6 yr old was the first to shower and due to the bath not being cleaned properly (we later discovered there was oil residue left in the tub) he slipped and fell and hit his head. It could have been much worse had one of us not been there to help. The fixtures were mildewed and rusted. The walls are terribly thin and we had some particularly loud neighbors (for hours) the first night that even our loud sound machine couldn’t muffle. We didn’t sleep great. The location is convenient by the station and some shopping but honestly that’s its only redeeming quality.

Clean, friendly, convenient, and next to train station.

Excellent experience!

This hotel location is good, because it is very close to Musashisakai station. The hotel’s staff is kind. i think totally I can recommend this hotel.

Very clean and well supplied. Close to restaurants, shopping and subway

Neat and cosy hotel

Great price, location, amenities, breakfast ( pay a tiny bit extra ). Has fridge in room. They provide bottled water daily. Quiet. Washing machine and dryer was on our floor. I can see why this girl has high marks. Plenty of food and shopping across the street.

I love this hotel and always stay here whenever I visit Japan. Its location is great and the staff is extremely helpful. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my stay. Everyone there was so helpful and kind.

It was close to the station and really convenient getting to places.

Overall very good and convenient. At thd last day, many teenagers checked in and were noisy at night. But manageable level.

Close to JR station. Friendly staff. Clean and convenient.

Well located next to the Musashisakai train station. Calm and very clean.

Ciean, quiet and conveniently located near mass transit and retail centers. Excellent choice.

The hotel is situated a few minutes away from the station and there is a community support police office (kohban) in front of the hotel! There are lots of shops including a big super market, restaurants and bars near by but quiet at night. The hotel is cozy and staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice and clean. Bed was bigger than the usual business hotel

Nice area of Tokyo, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby plus train station a few yards away. Good place to stay with everything you need including water, toiletries and even a washing machine. Probably give the breakfast a miss though as there are a couple of great patisseries nearby.

I stayed at the JR-EAST HOTEL METS MUSASHISAKAI for two nights. The staff was beyond helpful. It was my first time in Tokio and I couldn’t stay in a better place. The room was clean. I loved the bathroom. The bed and pillows were very comfy. I would certainly stay in this place again. Also the area has many good places to eat. Big thumbs up.

Hotel is comfortable and conveniently located, very close to the JR station. Two things I did not like at all: 1. I arrived at the hotel around 2PM, they checked me in but informed me that I will have access to the room only as of 3PM, their official check-in time. Many hotels have official check-in times, but if the room is available, they let the customers in earlier. The room was available, as they told me that if I wanted to enter it earlier, then this would have cost me 1000YEN. For an international traveller, who has been travelling for ~20h, I found this rather unfriendly. Second thing: on the last day I checked-out at 11AM, according to the hotel rule. I then asked if I could stay some extra 10-15min in the hotel lobby (usually one does not even have to ask for that) which at that time was being cleaned. First they said yes, but after 2-3 minutes they came to me and asked me to leave, because of the ongoing cleaning process. This was the first time I was "kicked out" of an hotel ... I did not find this very friendly either.

Excellent location, wonderful and helpful staff!!

Everybody was ready to help when needed Room is nice and clean

Clean bathroom. Slightly larger than most Japanese hotel bathrooms

Great little place. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Right next to the train.

Standard business hotel ... that gets everything right!

Convenient location with many places to eat and shop within walking distance. Right beside train station.

Really clean, spacious rooms, reception staff have excellent English, close to Train stop.

The hotel location is a little outside of central Tokyo, but it is very close to the train station, which is on the very convenient Chuo central line.Everything about the hotel was great - the staff, service, etc. We were very close to the train tracks, but could barely hear the train. We were also able to get a room for 3 people. Highly recommended if you prefer an area that's not so crowded, but still convenient to central Tokyo.

Friendly staff, good location, remodeled rooms. Great breakfast too.

super close to subway, very convenient vicinity - shopping eating transport..., staff very friendly and professionally...
