Small boutique hotel (only 6 rooms) and it felt like home. Decor was great and interesting and made for a relaxed vibe. Staff was attentive to everything I needed. Wish I could have stayed longer. Delicious breakfast each morning and such a kindness from the staff .

Absolument tout. Le lieu en lui-même. Architecture, décoration. Le personnel accueillant, souriant, pro et disponible. Les chambres sont sublimes, super literie et salle de bain. Idéalement situé en plein cœur de la ville et des commerces en tout genre, resto, bars, laverie, supermarchés ou épiceries. Un véritable coup de cœur<3

Like stepping back in time. Each room is themed, I stayed in the French room with blue shutters and lots of old paintings and cushions. Most comfortable bed ever. Great breakfast. Smack in the middle of town but i wasn’t disturbed by any noise.

Un peu cher

A little peaceful paradise and wonderful oasis in the middle of the old part of Kampot. Sophoan and his team are just wonderful, always ready help, kind, and friendly. They make you feel like family. Sophoan, the manager of the hotel, shared great insights, was always available for a chat, and does all this with genuine joy and empathy, and always has a smile on his face. When I unexpectedly arrived ahead of time he kindly let me check in early, and graciously allowed me to check out late as well. This place is a true gem, with thoughtfully decorated, clean rooms which include great amenities, a little coffee/breakfast area, and an all around calm and inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

Excellent séjour dans ce très bel hotel situé au coeur du centre historique de Kampot. Petit établissement très joliment décoré et confortable dans une vieille maison coloniale. Personnel adorable et de bon conseil pour les sorties. Excellent petit déjeuner. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Restaurants, laveries et locations de scooter à proximité. Proche de la station de bus longue distance VET.

Rues un peu bruyante surtout le WE. Le tourisme sexuel omniprésent à Kampot (rien à voir avec l'hôtel!).

A beautiful hotel in an old house, in the centre of Kampot. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and beautifuly decorated. You feel like home. Breakfast was delicious, served with different fresh fruits each morning. Everyone was lovely, and they helped us book 2 tours , one for Bokor and one for Kep. Thank you for making us so welcome in Kampot !

We had a nice stay and were given a very warm welcome.

The only downside was that we were given a room facing the street even though there were other rooms available.

Friendliness of the staff. Manager went out of his way to ensure my comfort. Magnificent hotel which was exceptionally maintained. A very special place to stay.

Eine aussergewöhnliche Unterkunft für Kampot. Der freundliche Besitzer hilft in jeder Lage auch mit Unterstützung seiner motivierten Mitarbeiter. Die Einrichtung der Zimmer ist sehr individuell. Was für mich punktete, eine perfekte, moderne Nasszelle und leistungsstarkes Internet. Frühstück nach eigenem Geschmack leicht abgeändert war nie ein Problem. Trotz der zentralen Lage ist man in seiner Ruhe nie gestört.

A must-stay in Kampot! This is a really beautiful hotel with a wonderful French-historic vibe right in the center of Kampot. The staff here are 100% amazing and incredibly accommodating. I would definitely return here!

En l'absence du propriétaire, la personne en charge de l'hôtel a été formidable. Je lui renouvelle mes remerciements. L'hôtel est idéalement placé. La décoration de l'hôtel est magnifique. Les chambres sont grandes et confortables. Le petit-déjeuner est complet, avec des produits frais.

Les serviettes toutes fines et toutes rêches ne sont pas à la hauteur de l'établissement.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this stay really deserves one. I booked this place based on what people said about the owner, Pascal—and honestly, every single review was spot on. He’s incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without ever feeling over the top. From the moment I arrived, everything just felt easy and comfortable. You can tell he truly cares about his guests, not just running a business. It’s rare to come across hosts like this, and it really made the whole experience that much better. If you’re staying in Kampot, I’d definitely recommend this place.

L’adresse de charme à Kampot. La chambre était décorée avec beaucoup de goût tout comme le reste de l’établissement. La situation est très centrale. Le propriétaire est aux petits soins. La plantation de poivre est très proche comme les marais salants.

The breakfast was very good and the location was very central, allowing for easy access to the places we wished to visit. The owner/host was gracious, thoughtful, and flexible. We felt that we were in a home rather than a hotel, while afforded all the privacy we wished.

Das schönste und am geschmackvollsten eingerichtete Hotel, das wir in Kambodscha hatten! Ein ästhetischer Traum! Jeder Raum ist individuell gestaltet, alle mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Besitzer sind sehr aufmerksam, kümmern sich um alle Anfragen und das Frühstück mit selbstgemachter Marmelade und Früchten aus dem eigenen Garten ist ausgesprochen lecker. Dank der Lage mitten im Zentrum ist alles fussläufig erreichbar.

Tout! L'hôtel est joli et décoré avec goût. C'est propre et confortable. Les propriétaires sont très disponibles et aidants. Ils parlent parfaitement français. A notre arrivée, ils nous ont indiqué les activités à réaliser dans les alentours, ils m'ont aidée à réserver mes tickets de bateau pour notre prochaine étape et ont été d'une grande aide lors de l'oubli de mon téléphone à l'hôtel lorsque nous avons quitté Kampot. L'hôtel est situé en plein centre près de la vie nocturne, mais pas de bruit dans al chambre le soir, c'est bien isolé. Je recommande à 100%!

Accueil top par l’équipe de Pascal avec assistance pour organiser au mieux notre court séjour. La mise en valeur de ce bâtiment historique coloniale est superbe, et la déco top ! I stayed three nights at Hotel La Java Bleue in the Khmer-themed room, which featured original artwork by owner Pascal Prom depicting a classical Apsara dancer. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Kampot’s colonial heritage centre — ideal if you want to experience the town itself rather than stay out at a resort. The room was beautifully curated — tasteful, not overdone — with a real nod to heritage. Well appointed with tea and coffee facilities, a spacious bathroom, and the added practicality of a separate toilet. The building is a lovingly restored French colonial property, and the artistic detail throughout is exceptional — subtle hand-painted touches, bespoke furnishings, and antique pieces. Cleanliness was outstanding, especially considering the nature of a heritage building — daily housekeeping was immaculate. Breakfast was simple but very well done — French pastries, tropical fruit, good coffee, and homemade preserves, served on the street-side terrace. The staff were warm and attentive without being intrusive. Thiero in particular was charming and welcoming, making it feel more like staying in a private home than a hotel. Security is well handled — guests are given a key to the front door, which adds to the relaxed, homely atmosphere.

Pascal, Franco-Khmer, est une hôte incroyable toujours à votre service. Il a su décorer cette ancienne maison coloniale de main de maître après l'avoir complètement restaurée. Situé au coeur de Kampot, La Java Bleue est un lieu unique où chaque chambre à son thème décoratif et pour moi le plus beau de la ville.

Wonderful French building in the heart of Kampot and few meters from the river. Pascal is running the hotel with a lot of lovely touches, from the forniture to the kindness and availability for any question and recommendation. The breakfast was very good and served in the very enjoyable patio on the front. We would definitely recommend and it would be a pleasure to come back.

The property was beautifully presented. The rooms were large, comfortable with excellent decor. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh, the bakerie selection exceptional. Pasqual and his team were charming and could not do enough to assist and made excellent restaurant recommendations.

It’s a stunning French colonial building, decorated beautifully. Everywhere was clean and cool and the staff were extremely helpful and understanding. Breakfast was delicious - French pastries. Fruit, juice and coffee.

For us it was in too noisy an area. We had mistakenly expected Old Town to be quieter. My husband wasn’t feeling well and the noise from local bars, dogs and motorbikes wasn’t what he needed.

Adresse de classe, maison typique du vieux quartier aménagée avec beaucoup de goût. Nous avons adoré ! L’accueil de Tiro et sa disponibilité pour nous proposer des visites ou s’occuper de nos transport si nécessaire, chercher des renseignements ont été vraiment très utiles et appréciés. Un petit cocon parfait pour découvrir la région.

Ne pas avoir suffisamment de temps pour pouvoir encore rester ici plus longtemps 🤗

Pascal, Jerome and staff made us feel very welcome throughout our whole stay. The decor of the hotel is tastefully and perfectly matched to the Art Deco style. Breakfast was generous and fresh with bottomless cups of freshly brewed coffee. We enjoyed speaking with Pascal who shared his love for Cambodia and interesting stories. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay. It was perfect!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt im La Java Bleue. Thiro ist ein sehr sympathischer und äußerst aufmerksamer Gastgeber. Das Zimmer (wir hatten Mekong) war wunderschön, hochwertig ausgestattet. Das ganze Haus ist mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Wir können den Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.

A charming, old colonial house, one block from the river. Very convenient to explore the neighborhood and adjacent restaurants. We were very impressed by the decoration which was very artistic. The staff are kind and helpful.

Unique experience because of the room design and the lovingly renovated building in the heart of the village. Owner supports with arranging trips, without overcharging. Breakfast was nice as well, with French rolls and fresh orange juice.

Zentral. Ein absolut liebenswerter Gastgeber , der das Hotel absolut geschmackvoll gestaltet hat. Ein kleines Schmuckstück. Das Frühstück lecker, auf Wunsch wurden uns sogar Crêpes zubereitet. Dazu frische Früchte , Croissant, Baguette. Ist nicht selbstverständlich, war in anderen Hotels nicht der Fall. Daumen hoch, volle Punktzahl. Würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Très agréable hôtel, parfaitement situé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût dans un magnifique bâtiment d’époque. Les tenanciers sont extrêmement sympathiques et accueillants. Chaque chambre est différente et là encore chaque meuble a été chiné avec beaucoup de goût. Et en prime, un excellent et copieux petit déjeuner. Une très belle adresse!

El edificio colonial francés espectacularmente bien decorado con todo tipo detalles. El staff fue extraordinario con servicio muy personalizado que tuvimos durante nuestra estancia.

Dieses Boutique Hotel bietet nur sechs Zimmer an und ist sehr familiär Zum Frühstück gibt es einen sehr guten Cappuccino und ein Croissant und auf Wunsch natürlich Omelette Spiegeleier oder wie auch immer man seine Eier haben möchte. Die Besitzer Familie ist sehr nett und wir haben uns sehr gut unterhalten

This is a beautiful boutique hotel. Pascal and his colleagues have done an amazing job in restoring an old house and turning it into something truly special. It only has about five rooms and each is decorated in a different style; we were in the Khmer room. Very quiet and relaxed, staff were great and everything worked perfectly.
