What I really enjoyed was the cold weather and the calm environment. It was peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a quiet getaway.

Hurm… I paid for breakfast, but apparently they forgot to inform the café staff. I was quite shocked when the staff asked me to pay again, even though I had already paid for breakfast during check-in. Thankfully, the staff checked and sorted it out. Honestly, the breakfast selection was also quite limited. There was nasi goreng, mee, pie, sausages, coffee and tea — but not many other options. The coffee machine wasn’t included either, and anyone who wanted coffee from the machine had to pay extra, as stated on the menu. Considering the price, I expected more variety. The food and drinks felt quite expensive too. RM14 for an iced coffee? Bruh 🙂‍↔️

Excellent service

Wyndham is very centrally and ideally located in the context of Bukit Fraser. The city center, restaurants, bars, convenience store, park, police station, souvenir shops and bicycle rentals are all within walking distance. It's a very advantageous spot to choose for a stay. Also, the staff is friendly, professional and helpful.

Didn’t expect the room that was not facing the golf club came without aircon. There was one standing fan, which makes the room very stuffy. Even if you open the window, the noice outside was disturbing.

Fairly average. The hotel is in a great location and the room was very clean. The dinner came in a very generous portion.

The weather in Fraser's Hill is cool, but installing air conditioning is still recommended or alternatively, put up grilles on the outside window. Opening the windows at night raises safety concerns, but keeping them closed leaves the room with poor ventilation. Breakfast is not recommended. Although there's glass partition in the bathroom, it doesn't really help, and water still flows into the sink area.

Good location to explore the Fraser Hill village. The lift worked

The first room the fly screens fell out as we tried to shut them. The food service was expensive and was not good quality. We contacted the hotel 4 months before arrival about organizing a local bird guide. They offered no assistance before or during our stay. We arranged our own guide and he was excellent. He was unknown by the hotel.

Good location near the golf course. Large room but a bit aged and bare. Breakfast with a small selection of western food but opening rather early by local standard, which is good when you are birdwatching.

The room is far too expensive for what it offers. It was extremely dirty, the floor was covered in dust, and the balcony was even worse. I honestly don’t understand how housekeeping could leave the room in such a poor condition. The room itself was very small, with only enough space for the bed and a TV cabinet. I specifically booked a Golf View room, but I couldn’t even see the golf course because the view was blocked by a roof outside. It felt like I paid extra for nothing. To make matters worse, the air conditioner was leaking throughout my stay. For RM550 per night, I expected much better. This room didn’t even have a proper wardrobe, just a simple hanging rail. Honestly, it felt more like a budget hotel worth RM100–RM150 per night. At rm550 per night price, many other hotels offer spacious, clean rooms with a proper balcony, a sofa, a wardrobe, and complete amenities.

Asked for mobility room with easy access when booking online but staff never read my request. Resulting in having to wait elsewhere until housekeeping prepare room.

Nice golf course view with birds singing all day, yet very close to the clock tower and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Wifi connection was weak so we couldn’t watch the TV. I find it difficult to take a shower in the bathtub that isn’t flat.

Room is rather spartan, no decoration. For the pice level I expected more. Only rain shower, no hand shower. Noise from corridor. It's on a hill, we could park the car at the room level, but still was told to bring the room access card to reception a few floors down on checkout.

I am starting with what I do not like. That is = the windows are not netted fixed to the opening. There are only curtains, netted type which insects can still come into the room. So I did not open the windows so room get warm / stuffy since not ventilated. I would have opened the windows a little if the window openings are installed fix since the room type is not air conditioned. The rate for air conditioned room is extreme high. This is what I do not like. However I love the good service admin counter staff and the housekeeper service. They are friendly despite we sometimes cannot communicate fluently, at least they smile!!

Probably the housekeeper was overwhelmed with the many rooms to attend to. There were occasions were water bottles were not provided to the rooms [mine and other friends too] and we need to go asked for them and room slippers were not provided to our rooms when we checked in. Some of use asked for them and were given. So my suggestion is to provide a checklist to the housekeeper [probably he is still young and not experienced enough] Not trying to discouraged him, he was helpful when asked. So the latter part was an encouraging compliment to him. As i had to check out early at 7am, i left a tip [$10 RM] beside the bedside, not sure if he received it. Hopefully he did cos that's for him.

Overall, the experience was okay, and most aspects of the place were acceptable.

The toilet was a major disappointment. There was a horrible odor that made it very unplesant to use, and it seemed to lack proper cleaning and maintenance. Improving the restroom facilities and addressing the smell would greatly enhance the overall experience.

Rooms are not maintained. I stayed in room no 227. The shower was not working properly, the handwash was not there in the handwash bottle, the mosquito/insect net/wire mesh on the window was damaged..

The environment is clean and the bed and pillow are comfortable, I had my enjoyable time with my family during the stay.

It was centrally located and the room was modern and comfortable

I had to ask twice for the mini bar to be replaced as it wasn’t working. Also we had a balcony over looking the garden but no chairs or table to sit outside and enjoy it. The breakfast was very poor and there were ants and flies on the open food. Not the best quality considering the price. The second morning we ate breakfast in the town and it was much better quality and value.

When we check in, the comforter had blood stain so we requested room service to change it. Service was a bit slow.

The bathroom had a bit of mold alongside this very strong mothball/cockroach smell, after washing my hands, the sewage smell from the bathroom floor trap. There was no warm water with the shower but there was warm water for the sink so that was kind of funny.

If you’re a birder, the area around the hotel is great for early morning and after lunch bird sightings. Saw drongos, tailor birds, leaf birds, warblers, spider hunter. Stayed on the third floor balcony room and woke to bird song!

Rooms could be accessed even by non guests. There was no security.

Hard to parking, narrow road

I liked the room, was clean and spacious. I booked premium king - 411 and premium family room - 412.

The bathroom for room 411 was horrible. Although it comes with bathtub, we were not able to drain the water from it as the water was seeping out on the floor instead. Even when we used the sink, the water was flooding the floor. For room 412, there was no consideration for families traveling with babies. Was sooo difficult to bath the baby as there's no hand shower in the bathroom. Reception was dreadful. I asked for sets of fork and spoon, and I had to call them 4 times for them to send it over. They kept overlooking it and I requested this around 10pm. The buffet breakfast was RM30 for adult and RM20 for child. I would sincerely recommend eating out rather than at hotel. It was not worth it and the food was not great too. The spread was less and it was not even edible, except for bread toast, fruits and egg station.

Nach den Beurteilungen, die wir nach der Buchung im Internet fanden, waren wir hoch erfreut, ein zwar architektonisch wenig inspirierendes, aber freundliches und gut ausgestattetes Hotel vorzufinden. Entweder hatten die Kritiker:innen großes Pech, oder das Hotel hat nachgerüstet.

Alles war weit angenehmer, als erwartet.

The convention downstairs was noisy from 7am to 10pm. should have given us a higher floor room. No parking. All car parkings were full. Lane was narrow and tight with double parking and with same entry exit point. If there is a car from the opposite direction, then one has to reverse back all the way. Dangerous. We had to park outside the hotel.

Room: The room was clean, well-maintained, good view from the balcony Location: The hotel’s location was excellent. It was easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and nearby attractions and making it convenient for exploring the city. Staff & Service: Staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Check-in was smooth. Extras: The balcony offered a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing in the evening. The hotel also felt quiet and peaceful despite being close to the main streets.

Bathroom: The toilet bowl could use a deeper clean, and there were some early signs of mold. Regular maintenance would help. Air Conditioning: The air conditioner made noise, which made it hard to sleep comfortably. Balcony: The balcony light was not working, and there weren’t enough chairs. Adding a small table with chairs would make it more usable. Bedding: We noticed stains on the blanket sheet, but the staff were responsive and changed it immediately after we reported it. Breakfast: Although we paid for breakfast for three, the spread was disappointing with limited choices. It could definitely be improved. Parking & Surroundings: The back parking area was crowded with people attending an event, making it difficult to park or walk around. It was also quite noisy at times.

Great that the hotel has been refurbished. The rooms are much nicer, the pillows are great. There is air conditioning and a fridge too!

When we walked into the room, there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom, smelt like stagnant water in a drain. We think its coming from the drainage on the floor. However, the layout of the bathroom is not so suitable. The sink position is rather tight. The water drains very slowly in the bathtub when showering. Because the water pressure is strong, the floor of the bathroom gets wet.
