doccia troppo piccola e le stanze non sono insonorizzate, si sentivano tutti i rumori.

Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The location of Mentor Hotel is amazing, with a magnificent view over the port of Vathy. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the beautiful breakfast terrace, which was a lovely place to start the morning. The room was well equipped with all the amenities we needed. The staff were also extremely helpful and welcoming. We especially appreciated that they found a shirt we had accidentally left behind after checking out and kindly made arrangements to send it back to us.
The only areas for improvement would be a more comfortable bed and better soundproofing from the corridor.

Μέτριο πρωινό με πολύ περιορισμένες επιλογές. Μικρό μπάνιο, έπεφταν όλα τα νερα έξω και γέμιζε ο χώρος. Δεν βρίσκω ταιριαστή τη σχέση παροχών - τιμής.

C'est bien pour deux nuits maximum si vous avez de très faibles attentes. La douche n'a aucun type de couverture et la salle de bain reste complètement inondée. Sur les murs, il y a des moustiques écrasés ou du sang d'eux. Enfin et surtout, le petit déjeuner est mauvais. Le seul point positif est l'emplacement, pour le reste je le déconseillerais également en raison du très mauvais rapport qualité prix.

Reviewed Aug 22, 2026La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, molto comoda per raggiungere tutti i punti dell'isola e vicino a negozi, minimarket e ristoranti. La colazione è abbondante e con ampia scelta tra dolce e salato. Le stanze sono dotate di frigo bar, aria condizionata, materassi e cuscini confortevoli e balcone. Viene effettuata pulizia giornaliera. Il bagno è fornito con campioni di cortesia, asciugacapelli e set di salviette. Lo staff è cordiale e ci ha accolto con un drink di benvenuto. È presente un ascensore.
La doccia consiste in un piatto senza tenda e purtroppo per questo motivo il bagno si allagava, ma ciò non è stato un problema, in quanto si asciugava in fretta. La struttura è un po' datata e in camera abbiamo trovato 2 lampadine non funzionanti. Tutto sommato ci siamo trovati comunque bene.

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Bra läge mitt i Vathy. Fin utsikt från balkongen. Vi hade ett större rum med två sovrum som vätte mot hamnen och solnedgången. Bra med frukost. Trevlig hjälpsam personal! De gav tips om fina stränder att besöka. Vi hade ett nyrenoverat fräscht badrum också. Alla rum kanske inte har det.
Fanns ett myrproblem i vårt rum. Första dagen visste vi ej detta så barnen spillde lite chips vilket myrorna älskade så vi hade fullt med små myror vid chipsbitarna. Sen var vi mer försiktiga och då såg vi inte lika mycket myror bara på balkongen. Synd det inte finns pool på boendet då det inte finns möjlighet att bada i havet utanför hotellet. Då måste man gå någon km! Vi hade hyrbil och åkte runt till fina stränder.

Reviewed Aug 9, 2026Το προσωπικό ήταν φιλόξενο και η τοποθεσία του ξενοδοχείου πολύ καλή, στον παραλιακό δρόμο. Το δωμάτιο καθαρό, ευρύχωρο, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Πολύ σημαντική και η ύπαρξη κοινόχρηστων μπάνιων με ντουζ, τα όποια μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν και μετά το check out.

Reviewed Aug 2, 2026Great staff. On checkout they provided beach towels for us to use before we took the ferry late in the afternoon. There were showers for us to use as well. The location is excellent right on the waterfront. The breakfast buffet was great.

Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une chambre avec vue directe sur le port de Vathi. Breakfast was served on the front terrace with sea view. Central yet quiet location supermarket next door and restaurants nearby. We would certainly stay here again on a next visit to Vathy.

Reviewed Jun 17, 2026The Mentor is in a lovely spot, views of the sea from the balcony, easy parking, on the same level as the square and most of the tavernas and shops. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, decent choice and as much as you wanted. Sheets and towels changed too. We will stay there again.
It’s not a complaint, but it would be good to have a kettle and couple of mugs in the room for an early morning cuppa!!

Reviewed Mar 17, 2026Das Hotel ist sehr zentral in Vathy und direkt am Wasser. Es gibt ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten beim Hotel. Wir haben netterweise Frühstück bekommen obwohl wir keins gebucht hatten. Für unsere Reise auf Ithaki bekamen wir an der Rezeption eine Karte mit den wichtigsten Orten der Insel und die Rezeption hatte extra noch auf unsere Anfrage hin eine Wanderroute rausgesucht. Nach Check-out wurde und angeboten, unser Gepäck bei der Rezeption zu lagern falls wir uns nochmal auf der Insel umschauen wollten. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber und gut ausgestattet.
Wir hatten keinen Duschvorhang. Also das ist von uns wirklich Meckern auf allerhöchstem Niveau.

Que no tengan un servicio de traslado desde el puerto al hotel y visceversa… el taxi cuesta 20€ y son solo 5km …. Es muy caro para alguien que viaja solo.

En lugar de entregarme la llave propiamente dicha, o sea, la de metal, la que realmente abría la puerta de la habitación, me dieron una tarjeta que, en realidad, solo servía para activar la electricidad. En el momento del incidente no había nadie en recepción, aunque se resolvió el problema rápidamente, mediante una llamada telefónica; pero fue algo bastante desconcertante. Para mí, este tipo de situaciones desmerecen el aspecto de atención personal de un hotel. Sin embargo, he puntuado ese apartado con un aprobado porque valoro positivamente las gestiones realizadas cuando, por causa de fuerza mayor, tuve que modificar los datos de mi reserva.

Salíamos a primera hora por lo que no pudimos disfrutar del desayuno, aun asi, nos ofrecieron una bolsita tipo picnic para el camino. Fácil aparcamiento
Creo que sería mejor un plato de ducha en vez de bañera en el baño
