Mattress's could be a little more comfortable

Close to the highway, breakfast was good.

We asked for a non-smoking room but we were given a smoking room, very dated and had stairs to the room.

It was a very comfortable room and bed. And loved the smoking room option.

The hotel could use an upgrade and the smoke smell was incredibly strong. Even for a smoker.

The bed was comfy. Restaurant was closed. Room was clean. Windows really dirty. Staff was nice.

Lots of fresh snacks and ceramic cups for coffe and tea with real milk

This motel has everything you need with a good layout. The staff was so friendly and thoughtful and the location is great. The wifi worked perfectly also.

Was just passing through and only stayed the night. Was easy to get to, walking distance to dining, it was quiet and the desk clerk was very nice.

The staff are super gracious. Hotel is clean and rooms are quiet.

It was very clean, and hospitable place.I loved the steamroom. I would stay there again if the price is right.

The only issue we had was the air conditioner was so loud. We had to turn it off at night because we couldn’t sleep.

Our stay far exceeded our expectations - everything was incredible. The rooms are nice and clean and have everything you might need. The kitchenettes are super well equipped, the beds are comfy and there are some good eating options close by, plus a really exceptional free hot breakfast. But the most amazing part of our stay was the staff, who really made it feel like home (including helping with a midnight dinner after a late arrival, finding an adjacent room for an impromptu slumber party with grandkids, lending supplies for crafts, and teaching a 5yo how to make waffles!) I have truly never stayed anywhere in many years of travel where everyone was so generous, kind, and genuinely interested in their guests and making sure they had everything they needed. Thank you Sabrina and crew, I am so grateful and will definitely be back and recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Good value

One night stay while travelling. Enjoy larger room with small table and chairs (we play Cribbage). Reception and breakfast staff very friendly. Beverages, fruit and cookies available at front desk all day and breakfast options large with take out encouraged.

The jacuzzi was nice but it hadnt been used in sometime so when the water was running it was brown and made a mess using it so i couldn't use it

The room was great and comfortable. Breakfast was good. I appreciated the level 2 destination charger to charge my plug in hybrid.

The room we stayed in was very clean! Furniture, mattress and linens were all in great shape. The price was excellent. Room was very big. Would definitely recommend the suite with the separate bedroom.

This hotel will suit us. We needed to stopover for 1 night en route to a wedding. It is comfortable, clean, and quiet. Breakfast is available as well

This gem of a hotel is perfect for short stays or longer. The hotel is pet friendly which we needed. Despite being in a pet friendly room, there was no evidence of pet hair or smell. The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and we appreciated our room having two exits- one to the interior to the hotel and one to the laneway so we could easily take our dog in and out of the room. We were pleasantly surprised that the free breakfast included hot items such as sausages, scrambled eggs, and omelettes as well as a waffle machine. We would have been just as happy with the included cereal, yogurt, fruit and pastries offered. This was my second visit to Guest House Inn and it won't be my last.

Everything is perfect and it feels like home and they always got free snacks amd fruits for you.

Had an amazing stay, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was big and clean, like the fact there is an alarm on the door that tells you when it’s not closed all the way, nice location in town, only downside was kept having problems with the internet, will definitely stay here again

My stay was awesome!! We had a large Motorcycle group (20 guys) doing a road trip and this place treated us all like gold they were so friendly and quik upon check in, rooms were great! Was quiet during the nite, comfortable beds, clean rooms. We were all tremendously impressed and all really enjoyed our stay. Thank you very much for a great stay!!! It was a 10/10 for everything and all staff were exceptional!!! Will definitely be staying here for and future stays in Edson. 10 outta 10 highly recommended this place!!!!

Beds were comfortable and bathroom was excellent. Room was quiet and AC worked great. The staff were beyond awesome and the breakfast was far better than expected or hoped. Our room was clean.

It is clearly used as a crew hotel for the oil field. Hallways, lobby and stairs were absolutely filthy. People smoking pot outside our room made it almost impossible to stand the smell.

Property was older, but bathroom was renovated beautifully. There was supposed to be a free, hot breakfast but due to staff shortage, it was just a minimal continental breakfast offered.

The motel was advertised as renovated however we had room with very old carpet. The room had smell because of that. On positive side, it was pretty quiet which is rare at motels. Stuff was very polite and accommodating.

Shout-out to the staff !

My last minute booking and check-in went very well. Compared to a recent overpriced air bnb that I stayed at, this renovated and well kept inn is without a doubt comparatively more economical with all the amenities in tip top condition and more. The reception was very warm and the area is well maintained and spacious offering free snacks, fruit, and beverages as well as a free breakfast. Bonus is the accommodation of pets for a small fee. My golden doodle showed no signs of nervousness due to the calm and quiet atmosphere. Many good restaurants and a big chain grocery store is only a few steps away. Would definitely recommend this place to my family and friends and would not hesitate to rebook in future visits to Edson.

Plug in did not work

The room was very large. Nice to have kitchenette and a tv in both the living space and the bedroom. Room had two doors, one to outside and the other to the hotel hallway.

It was a nice room with parking by the door. Very friendly staff.

The bed, pillows and blankets were very comfortable. Unfortunately, the fan on the heater, in heat mode, was blowing cold air on me when it turned on. I got up in the middle of the night and grabbed a bath towel to cover my head. Breakfast was good. Staff were excellent

I enjoy staying in the kitchette units. Find they are very clean. The front counter staff especially April are very welcoming and helpful. My most recent stay was not the greatest although due to the condition of the parking lot. It is hard to keep on top of with all the freeze and thaw that we have been going through but the parking lot and the walkways were absolutely treacherous. I slipped and fell on the ice and sustained multiple bruises and needed medical care for my shoulder (x-rays, sling, perscriptions and upcoming MRI). The girls at counter helped in anyway they could wich was fantastic but never once did management even so much as reach out to see if i was ok or offer any assistance. I wasnt looking to be comped for my stay or anything like that but some communication from management would have been appreciated. Very disappointed in the management of the facilties for that and the condition of the parking lot. May never return for those reasons alone.

I have stayed at most of the Hotels in Edson and was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness, convenient location, breakfast, and friendly helpful staff. Parking available outside my room door was great with a grocery store next door. Highly recommended!

A pleasant surprise with everything my wife and I needed to make it a nice getaway weekend in Edson and area.

Stay was good. Beds are rather hard.

This place was clean and affordable. It's not the newest place, but I felt comfortable and safe travelling on my own. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and even asked if I wanted to move into the main building as opposed to the one across the parking lot. If you're picky or looking for something fancy, I'd say pass. But if you just want a comfy, clean place with a breakfast and lovely staff this is for you!

People or staff at the front desk was positive. Room cleaning staff missed our room one evening. Heater system was noisy and would shut off on its own. Some updates but many more required.

As we travelled out of our own province into our Brides place she now calls home I can understand why she loves Alberta all in a span of 4 days. Our stay was great we will be back!!

Sabrina was an awesome desk clerk. Made check in so much fun, made sure we had a very positive experience. She has ensured we will come again. Beds were extremely comfortable, in room coffee and breakfast are and food was good.
