La stanza premium era fantastica, avere la vasca in camera merita sicuramente la spesa in più. Ottima la zona onsen, così come i vari servizi che l'hotel offre.

Il buffet non mi ha entusiasmato, io sono stato poche notti, ma immaginando un soggiorno più lungo creda che alla lunga sia noioso mangiare sempre le stesse cose, per quanto di qualità.

넓고 다양한 개인 욕조들을 갖춘 노천 온천이 이 숙소의 최대 장점. 객실도 청결하고 넓었습니다. 외딴 곳에서 머리를 식히기 좋은 숙소이지만 주변에 산책로 등은 갖춰지지 않은 듯 하여 2박 이상 머무를 때는 온천 이외에는 딱히 할 일이 없는 듯 합니다. 청소년들은 탁구, 배드민턴, 오락실 등에서 시간 보낼 수 있기는 할 듯.

Breakfast was OK. Many different foods to choose from. Dinner was also acceptable. The location of the site is amazing. The beds and our rooms were cleaned daily. Our one daughter speaks Japanese, so communication with the staff was always smooth and clear. The onsens were also amazing. Nice to have washer and dryer on site (although it would have been nice to have two sets).

The smoking room should not be located at the entrance of the lobby. There should always be a cab located at the lobby entrance of the property since shuttle service to surrounding areas is so limited. More daily shuttle services to local areas surrounding the facility (Mushroom site, Date Train (bus) Station, and Lake Toya, etc.). Early (or multiple) transportation departure times to New Chitose Airport. The cooking ventilation in the buffet dining room should be improved so that it pulls all of the smells from cooking out of the cooking facility. This lack of ventilation caused us to wash our clothes daily that we wore for both breakfast and dinner, which was very inconvenient.

Smukke omgivelser , med en brusende flod løbende ved siden af resortet. Man bliver mødt af et meget smilende personale , der er utrolig hjælpsomme. Dem vi mødte var gode til engelsk. Onsen , særligt badende udenfor , var skønne! Vi oplevede dem både dag og aften. Om aftenenen var det helt særligt stemningsfyldt i badende , der var oplyst . Udover det der fyrværkeri. Aftenbuffetten var der alt tænkeligt, både til børn og voksne. Det samme om morgenen. Som “vesterlænding” i Onsen i Japan , vidste vi ikke at det var kønsopdelt og at man badede nøgen. Det var intet problem , men lige til at starte med, skulle vi lige vende os til det :-)

the room was gigantic, with a whole sitting room, and a lot of amenities included like drinks, tea bags etc. the private onsen bath was big too and very relaxing. the hot/cold water for the onsen was easy to operate. the breakfast buffet is good and varied.

there was some mold around the private onsen bath, and in general there was a bit of a moldy odor in the room. dinner at the hotel buffet was not as good as breakfast and not worth the extra 6600 yen per person, however the hotel is far away from other restaurants, and only a few of them are open late, which i assume ends up forcing many guests to eat in the hotel.

Stanza grande ma con bagno piccolo e scomodo, lenzuola e cuscini non piacevoli, materassi scomodi. Pulizia scarsa (ad esempio finestre e infissi). Per la prima volta dopo un mese di viaggio in Hokkaido, quando abbiamo detto che non occorrevano le pulizie del giorno dopo, non ci hanno portato via la spazzatura e nemmeno cambiato gli asciugamani bagnati. Alla reception personale scostante. La sala ristorazione è sempre troppo affollata: o perché c’è molta gente (ad esempio nel weekend) o perché riducono troppo gli orari (esempio: lunedì colazione 7,30/8,30. Domenica cena 18/20).La descrizione su Booking non corrisponde al vero; ad esempio il ristorante è uno solo, self service. Bambini chiassosi ovunque (possono andare anche nell' onsen) e nessuno dice nulla, purtroppo. 😣

The hotel has an impressive modern lobby, library with comfortable seats and music player, and various sitting lounge on the lobby floor. At the basement level, there is a table tennis table and a mini badminton court. The room with open-air bath is very spacious at 72m2. It comes with 2 super single beds, a tatami living room, 2 TVs, and a huge bath area with male/female sink areas and 2 shower sets. The fridge is loaded with free cans of beer and green tea which get replenished. There is free alcohol (sparkling wine, white and red wine) and snacks from 3-5pm and 7.30-10pm at the bar lounge. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and dinner which had good variety and food of high quality too. The massage chair on 11th floor (highest floor where we stayed) was very enjoyable and a plus!

If only there is a king/queen bed option and not 2 super single beds. Otherwise, everything else was perfect.

Fantastic hotel if you're only looking for onsen. If your primary concern is washitsu/tatami – this part is a bit dated. There's mold in the windows, in the winter they recommend pouring boiling water for the windows to open/close. The bathroom also smelled a bit like cigarettes. But, the onsen. It's simply fantastic. Open for long hours, despite the hotel being fully occupied we managed to have onsens for ourselves (there's a male/female split, changes every day so even during one night stay you get a chance to experience everything). The onsen area is huge. You first enter an indoor part where you shower, there are indoor hot baths where you can adjust your body temperature before walking outside. And outside – the pictures don't give it justice. Taking a plunge in a hot bath when the snow falls on your head is an experience to remember forever. Ah, small remark about food – the dinner had preassigned time slots; so be sure to arrive rather hungry as you might get assigned an early spot. But it was fantastic. 100% worth booking the dinner option.

Should have stayed longer. Despite all the good parts (like onsen, food), the room itself was a bit subpar. If you're hoping for a great room experience and onsen is an addon, maybe reconsider. If it's the other way around – book it quick!

マンモスホテルでした。大量の客をどう捌くかだけが重要で、食堂も食堂のようでした。ホテル中変な匂いがして、気持ちが悪かった。サービスといったサービスはなく、何百人も捌かないといけないので特段ホテルの人と会話もなし。食事もどれも大衆向けで、いくらゴールデンウィークとはいえ、高額なお金を払ったのにも関わらずがっかり。対して写真はまるで静かな温泉ホテルで、イメージと全く違う。悪質なところすら感じる。2度といきません。

The hot spring is so far the best I’ve experienced in Japan. The equipments are new and well designed.

The odor! Omg! The management team needs to hire some aroma specialists or whomever can solve this issue. There’s always this bad odor in the air in the hotel and smoke smell in the lobby and the hallway. We happened to stayed in another hotel run by the same company near toyako - Toya kohantei. It also smelled super bad.

The breakfast and dinner buffets were delicious (however there was no change between days so I can imagine it would get old pretty quickly if staying for more than a few nights) and the facilities were large with attractive design. The staff were the best part about this place, they were very nice and helpful wherever possible. The issues we experienced with mould were probably not due to the cleaning staff, but likely rather the building itself. The river is really beautiful as well, with lovely views from the hotel room.

Our room was extremely mouldy to the point where the scent of mould hit you like a brick wall when first entering the room and with visible mould on many parts of the room. While the room was pretty in design, the mould caused discomfort (stinging eyes, bad smell, difficulty breathing) and prevented full enjoyment. The facilities are quite large and our private bath was running when we arrived causing a considerable amount of condensation in places where mould was visibly accumulating. The private bath had a chlorine smell to it and no information about any mineral content or onsen benefits so I was unsure if it was indeed the hot springs water or just regular treated tap water. As I have tattoos, I was unable to enjoy the public onsen so was disappointed that our private onsen felt more like just a large bathtub. Additionally I booked a room with kaiseki meal included, however when I arrived I was informed that they were not doing kaiseki at all and my only option was to partake in the dinner buffet with no explanation why or option for compensation due to the difference in price - while the buffet was nice, this was not what I paid for and feels like false advertising.

不喜歡的太多，甚至是厭惡，包括晚餐: 食材一般調味普普，這樣的價位不僅沒提供任何酒(居然還要當場加價購買)，稍微好一點的料理就用桌邊服務這種煙霧彈來偽裝，說穿了是要控制量不希望客人拿，頭一次去一家旅館如此失望甚至生氣，怎麼這樣一間旅館好似怕客人吃似的。再者，約兩點出頭抵達，結果車開上斜坡直達門口居然沒有門房接待，瞬間還以為這是沒開還是走錯，人一進大廳也無人過來接待，完全被當隱形人，服務素質之差可見一般。再說清潔度，電梯上八樓後似乎刻意不開空調空氣特別悶，走道昏暗，崁燈上都結一堆蜘蛛絲，房內床頭附近地上角落也有蜘蛛絲和昆蟲屍體，人力不足和管理甚差的狀況一覽無遺。 所謂沒比較沒傷害，這裡是絕不可能在入住了! 要選這裡的旅客望三思。

Hotel tucked in the mountains with an amazing onsen (indoors, outdoors). Rooms are big and comfy. Lots of options for outdoor fun and just 20 min drive from the lakes. The outdoor onsen is beautiful and very relaxing, especially at night.

Breakfast and dinner get a bit repetitive (stayed for three nights), and compared to similar hotels I've stayed in, the food on offer was basic.

Management was unfriendly, especially the restaurant manager and the night manager Arai. Foreigners are mal treated here by staff, THERE DEFINITELY IS AN ANTI - AMERICAN sentiment here. Its unfortunate, CANNOT RECOMMENDED!

Basically we like everything, especially the onsen. i accidentally burned my finger during dinner, luckily they assist me with ointment to treat my finger. The staffs are super nice and easygoing. Thanks.

A great place to stay if you are skiing at Rusutzu, provided you have a car. It's an easy 40 min drive to skiing. So lovely to come back to onsen, dinner and breakfast. Gorgeous location. A lovely place to stay.

It has a nice view. Location is in the middle of no where, we drove there, a bit hard to get to, but it has a nice scenery. Nice onsen, a lot of different onsen to choose from. Staff are friendly.

The property is quite run down! Especially the bathrooms in the standard room and in public space. Buffet dinner and breakfast are ok, but if you are staying 2 nights or more, the food are EXACTLY the same every day, even the daily special!

The outdoor public onsen is heaven in winter with snow, buffet is outstanding!

Having a car is a must, but that was fine for us as we rented a car. It was 40 minute drive to Rusutsu and about 1 hour 29 minutes to Chitose. Roads were well kept.

The room was spacious and clean. The outdoor baths were fantastic.

객실 화장실이 굉장히 더럽습니다 샤워기 필터를 따로 챙겼지만 바로 더러워지고 피부가 예민해서 바로 뭐가 올라오더라구요 그래서 샤워용품 챙겨서 욕탕에서 씻는걸 추천드립니다 송영버스가 하루에 한대씩만 있어서 아쉽습니다 저는 비행기 시간과 맞지 않아서 렌트해서 갔습니다 렌트카로 가시는 걸 오히려 추천드립니다 그리고 중국인들 너무 관리가 안됩니다 저녁부터 문열고 떠들고 술마시면서 소음을 발생시키는데 전혀 제지를 안하는지 모르겠습니다 그리고 탕에 들어갈 때 좀 샤워를 하고 들어갔으면 좋겠어요 제발... 2박 3일동안 눈이 많이 내려서 밖에 나갈 수가 없어서 호텔에서 점심까지 해결했는데 뷔페에서도 충분히 먹을 수 있는 메뉴여서 아쉬웠습니다

The outdoor onsen

The breakfast was really good but the dinner could be improved. We had a child so if milk could be available for dinner would be good. It was available for breakfast.

De buiten onsen was een bijzondere ervaring! Het had heel goed gesneeuwd en het was ijzig koud buiten, maar als je van hot-tub naar hot-tub gaat was het super!

Onsen atmosphere the main things that made we booked this place

The reception staff at the cafeteria appeared quite confrontational regarding a booking we had already paid for, though I am unsure of the reason. Additionally, the drop-off runners did not prioritize our vehicle, allowing others to park in the drop-off zone and causing us to wait for approximately thirty minutes unnecessarily.

I loved my two night stay at this place. The setting is so pretty. I used the convenient shuttle bus from Sapporo and left by public bus to Datemombasu train station, which stops right in front. I was the only non-Asian guest that I could see; staff made me feel very welcome. Housekeeping works very hard, and was friendly and respectful. The many indoor and outdoor pools are fabulous, and I enjoyed following the tradition of wearing spa clothes to meals. My room was spacious with a small table and tatami mats as well as Western beds. Hardly anyone else was at the resort from 11 am to 4 pm when pools are closed; with a car, you could drive to Toya Lake. I preordered lunch and relaxed in my room. Not sure why the gift shop and combini are closed then too. Breakfast and dinner buffet were varied and delicious with so many tasty and healthy Japanese, Chinese, and Western options. They also had starwatching one night for a small extra fee with telescopes on the roof. Mostly in Japanese, but the leader translated as needed. Recommended!

It's an older resort, and bathrooms are tiny, esp for a family or group. But I used the communal baths. It would be nice to have a few more translations, for example, the wonderful colored pools outside to know what was in them. Lavender? Mugwort? Even listing them in katakana on the signs or putting info on the website. (The desk printed them out for me in kanji.) Just as much detail as the dining hall has so I could look up natto or soup curry.

Onsen outside tubs very beautiful especially with the snow. Onsen large, well laid out & clean. Food tastey with lots of western ,Japanese & Chinese choices. Staff extremely friendly. Room clean.

The beds are horribly hard & uncomfortable for Westerners. If hard beds are a problem for you, bring an inflatable air mattress.

What an incredible stay! I'm going to be dreaming about this hotel for a long time. The onsen was just amazing and the food was such a treat. We would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay!

The onsen was lovely and huge! Lots of lovely communal spaces and appreciated the walk to the foot bath and river in the morning. We upgraded to the kaiseki dinner and it was super value for money - a fantastic meal with great service. While the hotel isn’t super new, the room was clean and comfortable.

Some parts can seem a little outdated (the basement was a little dingy). Futon was extremely thin so we did not get a comfortable sleep.

朝食が美味しく、またスープワゴン車でテーブルを廻ってくれる方の語りも良い雰囲気にしてくれて楽しめました。露天風呂は特に様々な湯の香りと色とりどりを楽しむことが出来ました。オンラインチェックインする際に必要な搭乗券の発券をフロントの皆さんが手伝ってもらい出来たので、空港でも手続きがスムーズに出来たので時間が有効に使えました。ウェルカムドリンクサービスも良かったです。

部屋のベッドが自分には少し柔らかすぎるかと感じました。部屋付きのバスルームは温泉がメインなので仕方がないかと思いますが、他の施設やサービスと比べるとレベルが落ちているように思います。

במשך כל תקופת השהות שלנו (4 לילות) השטחים הציבוריים לא היו נקיים, למשל המעליות, המסדרון בקומת המגורים וגם רצפת חדר האוכל. כל זמן שהגענו לארוחות תמיד היה צפוף ולא נעים, והקבוצות הגדולות שבאו לא תמיד התנהגו כפי שצריך להתנהג, הם תמיד התנפלו על מתקני האוכל. אני מציע להנהלה לווסת בזמנים ולהפריד בין הקבוצות לשאר האורחים.
