The door handle was broken. The water pressure is unreliable. Next door neighbours were noisy one night and according to protocols no visitors after 16h00.

The host is not a good host and they took our booking while busy with construction so there was people working all over the property and they were loud. We also couldn’t explore the property because of the construction happening. I complained about the drilling noise and we were asked to move to a hotel that is below standard and far from the ocean.

The parking situation and the lack of telephones in the building are major concerns. As a visitor to Milkwood, it is very difficult to get assistance when trying to make contact. Calls are not answered, and even WhatsApp messages receive delayed responses. For example, I required assistance at around 7:00 pm the previous evening, but I only received a voice note response the following day at 3:12 pm. The voice note was from a lady who was coughing and simply asked, “Who am I?”, which was confusing and did not assist with the matter I had raised. This delay and the nature of the response made the experience frustrating and unprofessional.

'ONLY JUST' minimum level supplies to meet grading requirements ... COFFEE was the cheapest and Instant brand ... a simple Pod machine would have been great and made a great difference ... I don't do instant and especially Ricoffy.... if you are looking for quality guests....... TOWELLS Minimal size towels of Hand Towell size instead of spending a little more to provide Bath Sheets also does not rate well in my book ... But the bed, fridge, floors and cleanliness rated fine ...

Reviewed Feb 12, 2026The overall impression was great. The facilities were comfortable. The room was great, the view was perfect and the staff were amazingly helpful. They even checked my room as I was checking out and found the shirt I had left in the closet. Very impressed overall.
There was no hot water late in the evening for some reason which let down the visit somewhat. A cold shower at 11pm after a long day of work was not ideal.
