Hyatt Place Arlington Courthouse

Very clean hotel with excellent friendly caring staff. The rooms were exceptionally clean. I will definitely stay again, this is my second time staying and intend to stay again very soon. It’s very conveniently located to the metro, coffee shops and great restaurants.

The hotel was in a confident and walkable location in Arlington. Parking was straightforward and easy, although the parking garage is extremely tight. Large cars will struggle to navigate.

The thermostat could not be adjusted below 72 and the room was very hot. The bathroom also doesn’t have a vent/fan. Not sure why this is becoming the standard in hotels, but it is very annoying.

Fantastic staff, especially the Breakfast staff. Housekeeping and Front Desk staff were excellent, friendly and professional too, but that breakfast and cheerfulness were next level. Parking Pro-tip: All large vehicles will have tight turns ahead in the garage. Please don't park a large truck in a spot that blocks other vehicles that need to make tight turns too.

Gebühr für Garage 35 USD pro Nacht - ist zwar scheinbar in der Region üblich, aber trotzdem einfach Zuviel. Garage für amerikanische Verhältnisse eng. Dusche im 8. OG mit dem geringsten Wasserdruck den ich jemals erlebt habe.

My original room, the toilet overflowed upon arriving. I was moved to a new room. The second room was ok. Looked like it hadn’t been used in a while (it was on the corner/front of the Building room).

Breakfast is always the same 😏 and one thing really bothers me in the midnight I can hear the noise of the machine (fan or aircon ) like on and off..

The hotel's location is excellent--2 blocks from the Metro, a few blocks from a big movie theater, and a short walk (less than 10 min) or a quicker bus ride to Clarendon, with lots of retail and restaurants. The free breakfast is very good: real eggs, bacon, other hot food, and the usual variety of cold foods. The in-room fridge is bigger than the standard one and didn't accidentally freeze my drinks. The room was very clean. There's in-room coffee. The A/C worked well. Blackout blinds are pretty good. The bathroom is big enough to turn around in (there's a sliding door, which was OK, but some people dislike). The shower stall didn't leak onto the floor. Good water pressure and temperatures! There's plenty of counter space around the sink (downside: mirror is farther from you than usual). The towels are slightly larger and slightly thicker than the average hotel towel. There's actual bar soap for the sink (but only the usual pumps for the shower). There are not just one, but TWO hooks in the bathroom. A few small negatives: There aren't many free outlets in the room to recharge your devices (and none by the desk!). Wifi is kind of slow, although fast enough to stream video. The faucet in the bathroom sink is too close to the back of the sink; you'll hit the back washing your hands. The room lighting isn't great--no light by the desk, with an overhead and a lamp a distance away. The elevators require you to put your room key card in front of a sensor, which, annoyingly, works only about half the time. The room carpet had a few small stains or burns in it. It's great that there's a safe, but it's practically on the floor of the closet, making it back-breaking to use. Overall, I would definitely return!

Location, price and hotel great! The only complaint was the garage parking. It was too tight !!!! Exiting the garage was a nightmare. The exit route was not clear. Initially I went the wrong way and had such difficulty turning around.

Highly recommend this hotel. The staff are so very friendly! The breakfast was so good with real bacon and scrambled eggs. Love the tortillas and selection of fresh fruit. You can’t beat this location for convenience to the Metro, restaurants, and groceries (Whole Foods and TJs). Loved the big windows in the room and having a king bed and sofa pull out was ideal for couple with a grown kid. The elevators can be slow if u are on high floor and the air conditioner cannot be reduced below 67 degrees.

The garage- spots were too small and corners were too tight for larger vehicles. Entrance and exit were way too narrow.

The location was well suited for a family with a very short walk to the metro. The breakfast was varied and people were very kind with the children. We were street facing on the 2nd floor and heard nothing. Quiet! The room was clean and the staff personable. The state of the hotel left something to be desired. I kept having to move the toddler away from picking at the holes in the decor. The button to the elevator was covered in duct tape and the caulking around the sink was moldy/missing. The garage looked half demolished from cars running into the walls, it's so tight and one car lane only. Beware bringing your truck or SUV for $35 a night. We had to change some of our plans to try to avoid leaving unless we absolutely had to.

Nice location within walking distance to the subway to any museum. Staff are really friendly and supportive. Check-in and check-out are super easy with the Hyatt app. Breakfast is nice with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast sticks, bagels, fruits, milk, tea etc. Great for a family vacation.

Your staff was amazing especially Ashley (Reception) .. I visited many many group of hotels across the globe, but Ashley taking care towards guest was excellent.. My family also super happy..

We had a good experience at the Hyatt Place Arlington. It was clean and in a safe location. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast is the best I have had a Hyatt Place/House. The breakfast staff were so kind and friendly! The metro station is really close by and easy to use. I wish the water pressure would be stronger, it was like a trickle. The parking garage is very tight and we had a medium size SUV. I would only bring smaller cars. They couldn’t accommodate connecting rooms for my family, even though we called and asked ahead of time and even checked in first thing in the am on the app, with late arrival time for the day. We were instead connected to a stranger. We asked several days in a row during our stay and each time, nun able to accommodate us. However, even with the negatives, I would stay here again bc of the breakfast, location, and having a clean room.

I stayed for 3 nights. Our intention was to only need room service for 1 night. I noticed from the day before and even on day of that room service seemed to start around 8AM, which is a little early, I had a sign out as i didn't want our room disturbed until we left after 10AM. As such I made a specific request with the front desk to get my room serviced, and our room was not serviced.

Ac is soooo loud

The hotel staff are extremely friendly, and the hotel is in really good shape, and it's in a great location near the metro and wonderful coffee shops (three within a three minute walk!). But if you're renting a car during a busy period - BEWARE. The parking garage is TINY and TIGHT. We rented a Chevy Equinox which is a small family SUV and we had to do multi-point turns to navigate the garage and avoid scraping the sides of the car. The water pressure was pretty terrible and the bed wasn't very comfortable, but it was in okay shape. The room was really spacious and clean and the mini fridge was great.

Great location: it is only 2 blocks from the nearest metro station, and there are many options for eating pretty close. The breakfast is good, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are very kind.

This hotel is very centrally located in Arlington. It's very close to the metro and lots of eateries. The gym is well equipped and the rooms are spacious and beautiful. The staff is very professional and friendly, the coffee at breakfast was delicious.

We had a sideways view into the room next door and other than that the view was of air conditioning units. The water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong and the coffee maker in the room is that terrible cheap thing instead of a Keurig.

Breakfast is very good, not custom breakfast but all the bases are covered. The staff serving breakfast is really friendly and helpful. Even with a giant crowed of teenagers they did great by dedicating a separate room for them to sit in and cordoning off the food line. This hotel is very convenient to the Metro and many great restaurants.

We (family of 5, kids' ages 17, 14, 12) stayed in the 2 queen, sofa bed room and it was great. Very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Great water pressure and temperature in the shower. There was a mini fridge, but no microwave, which would've been nice to warm up my coffee, but overall definitely not necessary. Breakfast was good with eggs, bacon, sausage links, waffles or French toast sticks, bagels, oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit, flour tortillas, and numerous toppings. I thought it would be annoying having to call the desk to open the garage door each time we left or arrived at the hotel, but it was not at all. The staff answered promptly and we did not have to wait any of the times we entered or exited the garage. I came to appreciate this safety measure immensely, not because the area seemed dangerous (it did not), but just as the precaution it provided. Now I wish all hotels had this setup. The garage is tight as one should expect in any large city. I would not recommend bringing your F150 or Tahoe. We had a Murano and still had to maneuver into parking spaces. This is not a complaint, just a fact of which to be aware. Overall the hotel was wonderful and we will definitely stay here again.

There are 3 pillows on the 2 beds, but they are very small, square-ish pillows. Hub and I would have preferred longer pillows and 4 per bed, as we sleep with one between our knees. We each brought a pillow from home, and did not ask reception for more.

Spent five nights on our visit to Arlington mainly because of the hotels great location, close to transport and an array of dining & cafe options. Now I have to mention the wonderful interactions we had with both Ruth and Ashley at reception, they are absolute gems and great assets to the hotel. The room itself was on the fourth floor (408) it was close to the elevators but there were no noise issues either from elevators or other guests, the only noise issue was from the a/c unit, so we turned off the a/c whilst we were in the room and honestly it wasn’t required, the room temperature was perfect for us. The room had the usual spacious Hyatt Place layout and was clean and the beds were extremely comfortable, the bathroom is compact but clean & functional. Breakfast was the standard buffet you’d expect. Definitely the place to stay in Arlington.

The room was clean and the breakfast included with the room was very good. The front desk was very helpful and checked me in quickly. It is also located near two metro stop and only a 15 minute uber ride from Regan airport. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Solid choice. Very convenient to the Courthouse metro, maybe 5 minute walk. Stayed in room 711, which is close to elevator (unfortunately) and faces Wilson Blvd. Despite high floor, noise from Wilson can be heard but on the weekend it wasn't too bad. Most importantly, the AC worked fine. I'd seen a few reviews that made me nervous about HVAC but we had no issues. AC was arguably a tad loud, but in a white noise way. Noise from hall was loud, likely due to 1" gap under door but luckily guests were generally quiet, so noise was mostly limited to loud door closings as people came and went. Blackout blinds kept room pretty dark but a sliver of light comes in on sides, sometimes right at head of bed. Room was clean on arrival. Housekeeping was fine. We were inexplicably skipped one day, though. Ice machine was on floor 6. Breakfast was fine and available until later on the weekends. Staff was friendly. Had to use keycard to go up in elevator, helping make the place more secure. Decor was updated. Bathroom pretty roomy. Overall a good choice if you don't have a car.

A very nice hotel in a great location. Restaurant shops and shopping places all walkable from here. Easy access to transportation or if you’re driving there is parking available although not free. You really experience the city life of DC and locals and visitors alike are all over making a vibrant atmosphere.

There were very few options for breakfast for a vegetarian (vegan) like me. That is too repetitive across the week.

The greeting we received upon entering the hotel was warm, informative, and helpful. This is true of all the staff we encountered throughout our five-day stay. Our room was ready and in perfect order. The keys worked every time (that's a very big deal). Everything was clean and ready for us. We even managed to get in an unexpected walk to find the grocery (two blocks away) and restaurants for other meals. The location was ideal as everything was walkable within minutes: The Arlington County Courthouse, the Courthouse Metro Station, Whole Foods, Five Guys, and many other delicious offerings as well as brilliant shopping. Breakfast is not to be missed or dismissed with friendly staff and excellent food. Everyone we met was friendly, and happy. I cannot wait to stay again!. Also, it was just a 12-minute Lyft ride from DCA airport. Ideal all the way around!

The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is reasonable (for an American hotel).

Initially, the wifi was extremely poor. I was in a corner room and thought that might be the case. I asked for another room, but the receptionist was just rude and said: "The internet is crappy in this hotel; another room is not going to fix it." I tested the wifi with my phone and it was ok in the corridors. However, they still didn't want to give me another room. After I returned to my room, the internet was suddenly better. However, at times it was very poor again.

The worst hotel ever live. Room is so cold even set up the heater to higher temperature. The machine of the heater sounds crazy loudly, can not sleep well with this sound. The front desk was very unprofessional which is wasted my time to talk with and bring out all wrong and confusing information. The customer service was suck, the person who answered the phone and the manager never listened and solved customer problem but hang up while still talking.

Very, very good overall. Excellent fruit for breakfast, friendly staff that could not have been more helpful.

The biggest negative was the tight parking garage.

Overall very pleasant experience. The morning staff were helpful and easy to talk to. The breakfast was fresh. I had bacon and eggs with yogurt and fruit every day. Other items were placed, but these are my all time favorites.

I was in town to visit the Smithsonian but did not want to stay in the heart of D.C. Arlington offered the perfect solution. Serviced by DC metro so that we could zip in\out of the city, but far enough away to enjoy the safe, Walker friendly, beautiful neighborhood

The parking garage is horrible- too small and cramped. Navigating through the tiny parking garage felt like trying to navigate a mine field. Parking was so close that we avoided parking there all together as to avoid getting the rental car damaged by anyone in an adjacent "parking space" merely opening the door and denting the car.

I always gravitate to Hyatt Hotels when I travel. The room is always comfortable with a sofa for lounging. The beds are the best. I always sleep well while staying.

The deadbolt on my door (room 221) did not work but I did not inform the front desk because I liked the room and felt safe with the toggle latch on.
