Gen Z stare at the reception. A simple "Sorry, can we continue in English" would have been ok. Breakfast was mediocre. As my wife put it:"There are hotels which offer a decent experience with this price."

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026very handy for the airport (a 1 mile walk). The hotel is very clean. Very friendly staff made me feel welcome. Good facilities in the room. The train station is next to the front door of the hotel. This was very useful to get to the airport (1 stop, 4 minutes, 3 Euros), and into Oslo (1 stop, 12 minutes, 20 Euros). Breakfast and evening food were both good+ and value money.
nothing, happy with everything.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026What a great hotel! Beautiful, well-furnished, well-equipped room. We couldn't try the breakfast, but dinner at the restaurant was great. Nice saunas. I guess, this hotel is mostly used by travellers who don't stay long. Pity!
Not as close to the airport as we thought. Took a taxi.

Reviewed Sep 4, 2026I wouldn't have thought it possible to find such a great hotel at such a good price these days! I highly recommend it; everything is just right. The prime location right next to the Aviapolis train station is particularly convenient. You can get to the airport quickly, and the city center is also easily accessible. So, it’s not just an ordinary airport hotel.
One thing I didn't particularly like was that the window doesn't open. However, there are reasons for this, and it seems to be the norm these days. On the plus side, the temperature control actually works, so the room doesn't get overheated—unlike what is usually the case in hotels like this.
