Palazzo di Pietro is a hidden gem - a delightful property with many fascinating elements. It's spotlessly clean. The owner, Eleutheria, was extremely welcoming and helpful, and gave great guidance for interesting things to do, places to eat etc. There were many small touches which made our stay wonderful - we would definitely want to stay here again if re-visiting Chania.
We had a wonderful stay. The service and location are both excellent. We hope to be back again someday. I also want to thank you for your help before our arrival regarding parking our vehicle. Parking just outside the historical walking district was complicated for us, and your guidance made things much easier by directing us to the nearest free parking.
Very clean and well appointed
We loved this hotel! We actually extended our stay for an additional day. This hotel only has 7 rooms and Eleutheria and the ladies who prestar this hotel were amazing! Be advised that there is no parking around this hotel as it's in the pedestrian district of Old Town Chania so do your research about parking beforehand! Also, there is no elevator so I would advise not taking a large suitcase (as I did). I really felt like I was staying in someone's home here and I can't recommend this hotel enough! We rented a car but it stayed parked the whole time as everything is walkable. Also, Greece has lots of cats! If you're allergic, be prepared.
The room was lovely with a small refrigerator and kettle for boiling water. The area is closed to cars. Finding parking was somewhat challenging. Staff is wonderful! Kind, friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean
A warm and welcoming local hotel. Very spacious rooms and authentically charming. The opposite of a corporate hotel. Located in the heart of the old town. Important note; there is no parking near any hotel in the old town. Street parking is a 15 minute walk
Central location; individually designed rooms; host very attentive and helpful.
Beautiful and centrally located with fantastic staff. Made our stay fantastic, their attention to detail and creating an experience for us was beyond what we had expected. Can’t recommend enough.
This property is amazing! We loved our stay here. The room was authentically Greek with beautiful furnishings and the bed was so comfortable. The small attention to detail really makes this property one of a kind! The balcony was our favourite place to enjoy breakfast or a before/after dinner drink. There is a beautiful rooftop terrace as well. The location was close to everything but like most properties in old town Chania, there is no parking close by. The streets are not accessible by car so if you have a rental you will need to find a spot (
Excellent location, the superior suite is a beautiful, spacious room with a large seating area, kitchenette and fridge. Complimentary drinks, snacks and toiletries were included. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very welcoming. Stayed here twice now and we’ll probably come back again.
There isn't Enough words to describe this Beautiful calm relaxing hotel, you have to go and see for yourself.
Eleutheria and the staff made us feel welcome and safe. The place is conveniently located so you can walk around without needing a taxi. Our room was always clean. Also, we were able to purchase excursions with the staff’s assistance. Our trip was an unforgettable experience and I would recommend this place to anyone.
Eluetheria, Roxani, and Tonia were all friendly, helpful, and thoughtful. The room was lovely and quaint, built into a beautiful old Venetian building. It was reasonably priced and close to the harbor. We highly recommend it to anyone.
This is an utterly charming 8 or 9 bedroom hotel in a fantastic location right in the Old Town. We had a suite with a front facing balcony called the Yellow Room. It was just delightfully decorated with traditional furniture and curtains around the bed, wooden flooring, lovely features here and there, gorgeous window and door shutters. The owner absolutely makes sure that you are welcome. She has a small team of two other ladies and all three are extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel feels very intimate, comfortable and welcoming, with a family feel. I won’t give any spoilers but there are small things done each day that make your stay extra special. This hotel and its staff made our first time in Chania extra amazing.
We travel a fair amount and have never been taken care of so well. The owner greeted us warmly, gave us an overview (and a map!) of the neighbourhood with the best places to shop and eat. The room was impeccable, well-appointed and had all amenities one would expect plus extras. We had a lovely stay and an to come back to Crete with friends and stay at Palazzo di Pietro again. Efcaristo!
The most AMAZING place to stay in Crete. We were treated like family. 10/10 experience. If we return to Crete, we will stay here!
Wonderful
Perfect location to get to everywhere in Chania and the most amazing hosts! Nothing was too much trouble for them, they gave us recommendations on how to get around the area and always made sure everything was spotless for us. And their cat Voula is beautiful with a big personality and happily relaxes on the lovely rooftop. It is a surprisingly quiet stay, even though we are in the old town the street is very calm even. Thank you for such a great stay!
The charm and beauty of our room was beyond expectations and the warm welcome and recommendations from Eleftheria made the stay exceptional. We will definitely be back.
One of the best staff I've ever seen in a hôtel. They gave us several advices on the things to do and tips regarding the restaurants. In addition, the location is amazing and the room is unique.
A lovely hotel, beautiful, and a few steps from the harbour.
Charm of cozy medieval palace, with easy access to everything, very nice host, who was extremely helpful.
The Venetian history of the building is incredible. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location is perfect for exploring Chania. The advice of our host for things to do and see never missed the mark. The only negative was car parking. You can’t drive in old town and there is limited parking nearby. Be prepared to walk to and from your car.
We had an amazing time here. The owner was lovely (as well as her very cute cat) and the staff were very kind and helpful. The location was perfect and walkable to everything.
This will forever be my place to stay in Chania. Having been before, nothing will compete with the hospitality, kindness, location and ability to book other opportunities through the host. I’ve been to 56 countries and I rate this location as top notch. It’s not a 4 Seasons. It’s culture, family owned and is everything you need if exploring the city daily without needing the host to bow to your every desire. Even though she does. Rebuilt after WW2, her father passed on the amazing hotel that stands. We also booked a taxi and moped through the host with ease. Along with plenty of recommendations.
A few minutes walk to the old town port. Pleasant and knowledgeable owners involved with operations. The rooms are immaculate and romantic decorated with fresh flowers. Champagne, raki, and fresh fruits are supplied at arrival at no cost. Nice spacious bathroom and bathing accessories. Excellent room airconditioner and a great refrigerator w/ freezer to keep water frozen during those hot days when traveling to the various beaches/excursions. A balcony with table and chairs to observe the street action. Parking is available by Talos square a few minutes walk from the establishment (driving at the old town is limited). Restaurants, shops and supermarkets are nearby. It is a great place to enjoy the old town ambiance in Chania and watch the spectacular sunsets. The owners greet you upon arrival and provide all information needed to make for a wonderful stay. We would stay here again!
This is a beautiful place to stay. The host and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the town and its history. It is in an excellent location close to the old harbor. They have a wonderful garden space on the top floor. Our room had a kitchenette and the fridge was stocked with water, fruit, and other drinks. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was perfect. I highly recommended staying here if you are in Chania.
The hotel is very convenient close to restaurants, shopping and attractions. The owner and receptionist were very nice. They gave us fruit baskets , water bottles and candies upon arrival. They have all what you need like coffee, sugar etc. Definitely recommend this hotel.
We could not have been happier with our stay here! They were absolutely amazing and stayed up late for us to arrive since our flight got very delayed - very easy to communicate with them through whatsapp. They went above and beyond by waiting for us, giving us a whole rundown of Chania/where to visit, and treating us to extra celebrations for our honeymoon :) Truly amazing customer service and we loved the history behind Palazzo di Pietro as well. We also loved the building cat! Truly a wonderful place that we would recommend to everyone. We hope to visit again!
Excellent location, excellent property, excellent service. Feels like home away from home
Our stay at Palazzo di Pietro was nothing short of magical. Tucked right in the heart of Chania’s Old Town, this boutique property offers the perfect balance of local charm and comfort. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a thoughtful fruit basket and local wine—a gesture that immediately set the tone for the kind of hospitality we’d experience throughout our stay. The building itself is full of character, beautifully preserved, and immaculately clean. Our suite had everything we needed, and the rooftop terrace was a peaceful retreat each evening. We loved how walkable everything was—from quiet beaches to incredible dinners, boat tours, and all the energy of the Old Venetian Harbor. Yet, the property remained calm and serene, offering a restful escape at the end of each day. As a frequent traveler with my daughter, I look for accommodations that offer more than just a place to sleep—and Palazzo di Pietro exceeded expectations. It’s the kind of stay that sticks with you long after you leave. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic Cretan warmth, unbeatable location, and a truly special stay in Chania.
A True Treasure in the Heart of Chania Staying at Palazzo di Pietro was nothing short of exceptional. Perfectly situated in the prime location of Old Town Chania, the hotel places you right in the center of the city’s vibrant history, culture, and charm. From the cobblestone streets to the nearby harbor, everything you could want to explore is just steps away. The building itself carries a rich and fascinating history, which you can feel as soon as you walk through the doors. At the same time, the property has been thoughtfully updated, blending historical elegance with modern-day comforts while beautifully preserving its character while offering every convenience you’d expect. What truly makes Palazzo di Pietro unforgettable, however, is the staff. Exceptionally hospitable, helpful, and warm, they made us feel immediately welcome and consistently cared for throughout our stay. As travelers in a foreign country, that sense of being genuinely looked after. We felt safe, supported, and even pampered. It was the little details that meant the world to us. If you’re looking for a place with heart, history, and five-star service in the most ideal part of Chania, Palazzo di Pietro is it. We can’t wait to return.
The property manager is wonderful! She gave us great tips and recommended areas around the town. This was definitely one of our favorite stays!
This place was absolutely amazing!!! Probably the cutest, most hospitable place I’ve ever stayed. Will be coming back, again and again!
The room was extremely comfortable, well supplied, and immaculate. The hostess was very friendly, informative and accommodating. The location is excellent!!
Location clean
Palazzo di Pietro was hands-down our favourite accommodation of our trip. It is such charming place with wonderful staff. The decor is rustic and lovely, and totally fits into the aesthetic of the Chania Old Town area. I adored the four-poster bed and all of the unique touches in the room. The rooftop terrace/garden was an added bonus and was a great place to relax after a busy day. Eleutheria, the owner, clearly cares deeply about her clients. She was very friendly and happy to chat about recommendations for what to do, see, and eat. Roxani was also lovely and very helpful. There aren't too many rooms in total, so the staff always had time for us. Best of all was Voula, the little cat who lives at the hotel! She doesn't go into the rooms or bother the guests but if you are interested in spending some time with her she is the loveliest little rooftop companion. A brief word of caution if you're renting a car: there are plenty of parking options within walking distance, except on Saturday evenings, which is when we arrived. The old part of town is so busy at this time that you should be prepared to park far from the hotel, and to navigate very narrow streets full of pedestrians. If I planned our trip again, I would either arrive earlier in the day to find parking or save renting a car until Sunday if possible. Not a fault of the hotel's at all, but good to know before you go!
Loved the people who took care of the room. There was a roof top deck which we took advantage off. I will definitely come back and recommend it to everyone I know
My husband and I stayed at the Palazzo di Pietro for 4 nights. It was a charming and beautiful place. The owner checked us in and took the time to explain the area and provided a map and recommendations. We were welcomed with fresh fruits and a bottle of wine. Our room was located in heart of Chania old town, literally steps from the beautiful harbor. I highly recommend Palazzo di Pietro, you will not be disappointed.
I truly enjoyed my stay, Eleutheria and her team were very kind and helpful during my stay here. The room was lovely and it was very convenient to get around. Also Voula was such a cute cat!
The property is well situation in the centre of Chania Town Square. The space (room 6) is self contained. Front desk staff are amazing, welcoming, informative. In our room, on arrival, we had fresh fruit, water, juice, wine, toiletries. Very clean and comfortable for two. I will say however that because there is a restaurant below it was quite noisy in the evening until about 11:30pm. So if you are early to bed, like we were, that was a small issue. But not a deal breaker for the comfort, location, amenities and great welcoming staff. Very good value and would stay there again.
This was a perfect place for us! Location was incredible, building was incredible and everyone made us feel so welcome. It was literally around the corner from the old port and in the heart of the town. The tea and coffee making facilities and fridge made it even better and we would 100% recommend.
Amazing host and staff. They were all very helpfull and nice. Location is in the middle of old town, about 2 blocks ftom the ocean. Room was clean, large and had many extra perks. Would stay here again, when we go back there.
Great location and amenities, friendly staff!
Delightful staff and family owned business! Would go Back on our next trip to Chania!
We stayed here for our honeymoon. This was such an ideal place to stay in the old town of Chania. Everyone was so so kind, welcoming, and helpful. There was a mini kitchen in our room which was so convenient, and we were greeted with a thoughtful gift of wine, water, fruit, coffee, tea, and candies. The room was spotless. We loved our time here. Thank you Palazzo di Pietro team! It’s truly a special place.
This is a one-of-a-kind experience! The room we were in (The Red Room) was amazing! Incredible decor and fully stocked with everything needed, plus fresh fruit and water in the mini fridge, and some wine and local drink to enjoy! I would have loved to stay longer than the two days we booked! Hospitality was abundant and every effort made to make us comfortable and welcome. This stay was one of the highlights of our anniversary trip! We will definitely stay here the next time we visit Crete and will stay longer! This lovely hotel has authentic decor to the time period it was built. It was absolutely perfect!
This property was great! Family-owned for centuries with unique rooms for every guest. The place is right in the heart of Hania. For that reason, a taxi won’t take you to the door (so keep that in mind), and the beautiful rooms are older so you could hear your neighbors. Host have great recommendations, and you cannot go wrong in the Old Town nearby! Definitely would recommend!
The owner Eleutheria was friendly, helpful and charming.I would certainly recommend the hotel for anyone visiting Chania .
I have never felt as welcome in any hotel as I did at the Palazzo do Pietro. We stayed in a beautifully restored room that looked even better than the photos right in the heart of the Venetian port. Eleutheria has thought of every detail from the welcome fruit and drinks to the pen in the writing desk. She made us feel completely at home and offered useful guidance and advice about Chania and Crete. So glad I booked this place.
We’re so glad we stayed here! We had considered many accommodations, and decided on Palazzo di Pietro because of its traditional vintage charmz We loved this family run hotel. Check in was very welcoming, and included a map full of local sights, in addition to recommendations for dining etc. Staff was helpful throughout our stay - arranging a taxi pick-up for our departure day, etc. The owner was kind and thought of so many little details. There were arrival treats and lovely departing gifts that made our stay feel special - a fridge stocked with fruit and beverages. They provided a water heater, tea and coffee, cups, mugs, plates, and utensils. Great set-up for eating your leftovers. The bathroom was well-equipped, with basic toiletries, cotton rounds, a small wash tub and clips for hanging clothes on the clothesline of our balcony. We loved how many things were provided, and seems great for anyone traveling for an extended amount of time. The top floor has a rooftop terrace with a view of the water. The hotel is conveniently located in Chania - close to great shopping, sights and restaurants. (Next door Steki had the best mussels we’ve ever had - we’d go back to Chania just to get another plate of them!) A heads-up to anyone with physical limitations, there is no elevator. We were on the third floor, and it felt like a hike to our room, especially with bags, but worth it! Best of all is the adorable black cat who lives there. We would stay again and do recommend!
Great hosts, perfect position for exploring and a beautiful room with lovely extra touches!!@ Thanks
What a wonderful property. Right in the heart of Chania’s old city. It feels like the hotel takes you back in time with its antique furniture and wood finishes but still with modern amenities needed for us. The owners were very sweet and helpful for our first visit in the Crete. Their recommendations and knowledge of Crete helped us build memories we wouldn’t have had without their help. When we revisit Chania this will be our go to hotel.
My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at the Palazzo di Pietro for four nights and our experience was simply outstanding! The room we stayed in was spacious and clean. The welcome gift of a bottle of wine was a delightful touch. The staff were kind and the attention to detail was truly commendable. They even went above and beyond to celebrate my birthday during our stay. I was touched by the surprise birthday card and gift left in our room. The location of the Palazzo is another major plus point. It's situated right in the heart of Chania. I would recommend all of my friends and family to stay here if they were to visit the city.
The staff, the hotel, Voula the cat and my entire stay was an absolute joy. All amenities within walking distance. Eleftheria and Roxani made my stay and departure a dream. Highly recommended and i will be staying again. Thank you ladies.
This is very beautiful and special place! Everything is taking care to the smallest detail. The staff is very professional and very friendly. We loved it and will stay there again.
This hidden gem is wonderful. Located on a busy alley it is charming and appealing from the first glance. The receptionist Katerina was warm and friendly, providing a much-needed cold bottle of water. The only criticism is the lack of a lift, being on the third floor we could have done with it to get the suitcases up, however there is a taxi service that will also carry your bags to and from the room, I would recommend contacting the hotel to get their details. The room was large and spacious, with beautiful antique furniture. The room provides everything you could need, from high quality toiletries to an extensive sewing kit, bottles of complimentary bottles of water in the fridge and ice cubes in the freezer. The “4 ladies” of the establishment have provided an excellent hotel from which to explore the city, Vourla in particular was charming, the biggest disappointment was that we did not have enough time to fully appreciate the area, this means we will have to return at a later date and will hope there is availability for us to stay with them again.
Perfect place, perfect location.
This is a very nice small hotel that is ideally located. Everything was perfect.
The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again.
Like stepping back in time staying at at authentic family owned hotel with amazing personal touches. Located in the heart of Crete close to beaches and downtown. We will definitely stay here again
Eluethuria was the best host, so kind! I loved her hotel, amazing location right in old town. Highly recommend staying here.
Everything was perfect. The location is excellent, the room was spotless and spacious and the daily housekeeping was immaculate. We also appreciated the free gifts of fruit and chocolate.
We absolutely loved this hotel! It was super quaint, clean, and in a great location. The owner was extremely friendly, commuicative and gave us great advice regarding our hiking excursion to the Somaria Gorge. This was our first trip to Greece and the islands. A couple of things that would've been helpful to know: 1. The hotel street is not accessable by car, so you can't drive up and drop off your luggage. 2. Parking was challenging as the streets in the town are blocked off from vehicles passing through. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again!
Amazing stay!!
A beautiful and quiet and spacious room in the heart of old town Chania. Elefteria is a wonderful host and very knowledgeable about Crete. She lavished us with fruit, rakemolo, beer, water and candies. The balcony is small but sweet. I liked everything about this place and is extremely quiet at night.
We were welcomed by the kind and enthusiastic host Eleutheria. The room was fabulous. The hotel felt like a home with little treats as extras, such as fridge items, sweets and coffee making facilities. The hotel's location is superb as it is very central but in a quiet street.
We loved the location! The hotel was unique, warm and inviting. Eleutheria was very helpful and Voula was very sweet!
We couldn’t be happier here. Charming city with so many potential excursions…western Crete, in October, has the trifecta of smaller crowds coupled with sunshine and lovely swimming. And so much history! Palazzo di Pietro also has a trifecta - old city location, charming historic building and the lovely Eleutheria, the owner. Elutheria thought of everything for her guests, with lots of good recommendations. Parking is the one challenge; we had an 8 minute walk after dropping our luggage from about 100 meters away. It’s a small nuisance, but might be a concern for some.
What a fantastic hotel/ apartment. We stayed in the smaller apartment. Just beautiful and everything you could need. So well appointed. Very comfortable and cleaned and fresh towels evey day, though we were happy to reuse. Check in was easy and Eleutherine what a lovely lady so knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you again for a wonderful stay. We will be back.
This is a very nice place to stay. The owner is very helpful and went out of her way to make us feel at home. She gave us a good rundown on places to visit and eat, and it was really nice to have small gifts in our room each day- we said that we liked the toiletries and she gave us a set to bring home with us
No necesitas estar pagando taxis o rentar carro.
Beautifully decorated and appointed apartment in a lovely old building. Eleuthera was a warm, gracious and informative host for this long-time family owned property. Welcome gifts of wine, fruit and chocolates were an extra special touch. Would stay here again, eagerly!
Palazzo do Pietro is a beautiful little boutique hotel within minutes walk of the old Chania harbour and all its attractions. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. Our room had a nice balcony too. Eleutheria is a wonderful hostess willing to share her vast local knowledge. Take a moment with her to get to know the area, especially regarding the best dining options.
This was our most favourite place to stay on our trip. The hotel is stunning and with a rich history that Eleutheria explained to us on arrival. She was incredibly helpful, giving us information and local insights of the town and some great dining suggestions. The room was gorgeous, as was the rooftop terrace, and the location is steps away from everything that Chania has to offer. If you are visiting Chania, make sure you stay here.
The owner has created such a wonderful ambience. This is a historic listed property and it’s gorgeous.
The owner was so accommodating and informative helps and always available.
Great location in old Chania. The owner was excellent and gave us lots of tips to help us around the island of Crete. Room was comfortable and clean - great hostess!
Property location was excellent. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful.
Awesome location. Nice touch to have a bottle of wine gift on arrival and a gift on departure. Lovely shower in room and so many dining options within 5min walk, great advice from reception. Only hard thing about our stay was lugging suitcases up 2 flights of stairs and of course leaving!
We loved the fact that we were in a 15th century house and the owner, Eleuftheria, is a descendent of the original owner. It was quirky but updated and Eleuftheria did her best to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We had a Juliette balcony with a little table and 2 chairs. The street was very narrow, there were three restaurants in that street alone. We said hello to guests on the other side of the street who were sitting on their balcony. It felt very cozy. It was charming. There are no elevators but we had no problem walkong up the stairs. At the end, she called us a taxi to go to the airport. George apparently drives many of her guests to the airport. All in all, we loved old town Chania. O can only recoommend.
We were given excellent advice on where to go around the area from our host. She was personable, helpful and professional.
From the warm personal welcome to the historical and beautifully appointed rooms. This hotel was easily one of my best accommodations. Central location with easy walk to harbor, dining and shopping. Thank you too Vula the beautiful cat for the warm welcome too.
we stayed two nights in this fabulous hotel. Very welcoming and kind owner. The Hotel is located in the central point of Chania. the room is very large and cozy. Very precise on cleaning and a wide choice of products for cleaning the body and more. I highly recommend Palazzi di Pietro.
We had the most enchanting and inspiring experience at Palazzo di Pietro! From the very first step we took into this historical haven, we were greeted with warmth and treated to an exceptional level of care and attention. While it may not boast modern design, the hotel’s charm and unique character create an ambiance that transports you to a bygone era, making it a truly magical place to stay. The meticulous cleanliness of the entire hotel is praiseworthy. Every small detail, from the beautifully adorned soft furniture to the elegantly designed carpets and decorations, is maintained to perfection. It’s evident that the hotel leadership and staff takes great pride in ensuring guests enjoy a spotless and inviting environment throughout their stay. However, the crowning glory of Palazzo di Pietro lies in its remarkable customer service. From the moment we entered the lobby, we were made to feel like the most important people in the world. The staff and leadership genuine care and attentiveness made us feel welcomed and cherished throughout our visit. No request seemed too difficult for them, and they always made time to address our queries or simply engage in delightful conversations. In a world where rushed interactions have become the norm, Palazzo di Pietro stands as a beacon of true hospitality, where guests are treated not as customers but as cherished friends. The dedication and passion are evident in every encounter, leaving a lasting impression on our hearts.
Feels like a 5 star stay. The owner is a great host and everyone working here is very nice. Area is very central. Will definitely stay here again

Palazzo di Pietro, a haven of magic, elegance, and impeccable service, truly redefines the meaning of hospitality.
It is the best! E was fantastic and super helpful as well as being so very knowledgeable about Chania and Crete. The archeological museum rec was terrific.
Great environment, very nice ladies, fun area surrounding.
The owner is fantastic. Warm approachable caring etc.
The hotel is tucked into a beautiful little pedestrian walkway in old town surrounded by historic sites, restaurants and cafes- it’s gorgeous. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean, wee maintained and the roof stop garden is magic. The ladies who own and maintain it we’re so kind and helpful and their personal touches really made the stay feel special.
It was everything promised in the reviews and pictures. I've been travelling for 2 months now and this place was one of the accomodation highlights. Enjoy!
We had a lovely stay at Palazzo di Pietro. The innkeeper was waiting for us at our arrival and gave us very helpful information about the city and many of the historical landmarks (as well as providing us with some fruit and wine in our room). Located right in the heart of the old town, there were myriad choices for dining & shopping within easy walks - while we could hear the busy-ness of the city from our room, we appreciated the proximity that it offered. The room was amazingly comfortable considering the age of the property and we enjoyed the roof-top garden for afternoon refreshments. We would definitely recommend this inn to others!
so much character and charm, and right in the heart of the old city. you can walk to everything you might want to see. Eluthenia, who runs the place, gave an excellent introduction to the city--lots of useful tips. the room was spacious, very clean, and each room is unique. great experience!
Excellent service. Warm welcome when we arrived. Answered all our questions and took a moment to share the history of Chania with us. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were greeted with fresh fruit, coffee, tea and other items, all complimentary. We look forward to staying there again.
Nice hotel perfectly located in the heart of the city center. Hundreds of restaurants to chose . Clean and lots of perks. Coffee in room with fruit and complimentary beer and soda. Wonderful reception. Safe. One MAJOR problem is description showed parking. We had to park almost a mile away. Raining upon checkout and now way to drive up to office. This is common in the towns in Crete.
Wonderful property! Beautiful and historic right in the heart of Old Town. Location couldn’t be better. My room was beautiful and very comfortable. All amenities are carefully thought out. I didn’t need anything. Laundromat a few feet away if you need to do a quick wash.
I highly recommend this property. The room is quiet, clean and easy access to the harbor. We are welcomed with local fruits, raki and champion in the room. The owner is so nice. She gave us a good introduction to the history of the area and recommendations for shopping and the restaurants at the time of check in. We followed her advice and were very satisfied. When we checked out, she also told us to stop by a nice beach on the way to the airport, we enjoyed it. I want to say thank you again to the owner and will definitely book this hotel next time we visit Chania.
The owner is very nice and informative
Wonderful! Perfect location and really interesting boutique hotel. I love living in the history of this place. Bed was amazingly comfortable and everything was spotless. They really think of everything here and I lacked for nothing. I loved being able to walk out my door and be right in the heart of Old Town. Everything is very well thought out.
