Provider-sourced guest reviews.
Great location but carpets were old, stained, and disgusting. A/C/heater unit was broken. Pillows were thin and cheap. Just not a 3 star experience for the price we paid. When I brought this to the manager, he responded “Not my problem” and proceeded to charge me $3 for tiny bottles of water. Will not return.
Very tiny space.
.
The worst hotel I have ever seen. It was so dirty we checked out after one night, as we arrived late we had to stay that night. The next day the reception agreed to give us a refund for the rest of the nights because of how dirty everything was and took our details down. They have since ghosted and refuse to respond to any emails we send asking for our money back. The carpets are heavily stained with god knows what and the curtains were broken and worst of all, the sofa bed wasn't made, when we went to make it the mattress had a huge red stain on it it was horrifying. Cheating scammers! Do not trust the other Expedia reviews.
Super cute affordable hotel. Close to metro for easy access to anywhere in Paris. Room is small but clean. Staff are awesome. Would be even better if it had a small mini fridge yo keep some beer or drinks cold since you cant buy or access ice.
Buena ubicación, pero no servía el AC y el baño feo
Excellent service and friendly staff
We felt very safe walking around this neighborhood. Location was perfect for the bus/train.
There were stains allmiver the carpet in the room and throughout the hallway there were what looked like blood stains
The carpet is a bit dated but the beds, shower/bathroom is very nice. Has a bonus minifridge in the wardrobe too. The desk is bit small. Beware of booking for one or two guests. It costs an extra 50€ to bring a guest, which was a surprise when I had to bring my wife in when plans changed!
The rooms need some work but it serves the purpose, sleep and shower. Location is excellent and that’s what you need while visiting Paris.
Great hotel. Modern.clean in a good area. Close to metro line Hotel is situated in a cul de sac so its very quiet. Recommend it.
The hotel is in a great neighborhood—perfect for walking, shopping, dining, and easy access to public transportation. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was cleaned thoroughly every day. However, the room was quite small for four people, especially with a sofa bed. The shower head was weak and didn’t spray properly, and the glass panel wasn’t sealed well, which caused water to leak onto the floor. The hallway carpet also looked a bit dirty and could use better maintenance. We didn’t try the breakfast (€15 per person), but the city tax was reasonable. Overall, the location and service were solid, but the room felt too cramped for four and a few areas need updating and better upkeep.
Kindness of staff
Great wheelchair accessible room
Clean and convenient, excellent facilities and friendly staff. Very happy with the stay and would happily return and recommend
Safe and comfortable. Close to public transportation and lot of dining options
I love it!!!
The hotel is very well located, however I would never give it a good ranking, as it needs badly renovation. Rooms are tiny, carpets are all stained and smelly, furniture tired and scratched. my shower door was broken and even though the reception lady was very sweet she could not do anything, she did not fix it nor gave me another room. I would say it’s a very basic 2* hotel and is absolutely not worth the money.
This hotel is located down a”dead end” street, so taxis and Ubers park at the main cross street rather than leaving you at the door. The hotel could definitely use some updating. The carpet in our room was old and worn and couldn’t possibly have been clean just given the age and wear. There was a tiny table with an old coffee maker and a very small bench in our room. The refrigerator hummed off and on. The bathroom was very small. I’m not sure if the shower door was broken/off its tracks or if I just wasn’t closing it correctly. There weren’t any shops or restaurants close by. The one bright spot was the staff. They could not have been more pleasant or helpful. That being said, we won’t be booking a room at Hotel Le Trente on our next visit to Paris.
Perfect hotel and low cost and the people Howe works there very good
Heating systems needs improvement. It takes a while to get some heat when it is too cold.
Nice, quiet and in an interesting area.
I had a problem to find the hotel. It was in the end of a dead end street.
A dated property.. small place .. breakfast not worth the price.. but a good and helpful staff
A dated property on a dead end street but a good staff and very helpful. The breakfast was just okay and the coffee machine didn’t work properly. I needed an Espresso coffee and Coffee machine couldn’t make it . The area was a little deserted and isolated but we found an excellent restaurant just 3 blocks away. The area where the restaurant was located was pretty cool. I would say this is a 3 star hotel, which it was rated a 3 star hotel . Good hotel in Paris for the price but I would go outside to have breakfast.
Not a good area of Paris Newly renovated bathroom/shower and the bed was pretty comfortable. Rooms are very basic with badly worn/dirty carpets. Visible dirt in corners Lovely courtyard if it were cleaned and not used for dirty linen storage Only a couple people in the 4 days we were there spoke a little English. Nice young man on check in but spoke no English No coffee except with breakfast at 15€….manager agreed to 6€ for just coffee A company named B7&Co charged us $244€ for 2 nights. Then later noticed LeTrent charged $472€ for next 2 nights - it appears we were double charged for first 2 nights and will be contacting them
Very cozy room. Good complementary breakfast. The staff is very helpful. My room’s water kettle was not clean (because other guests put in coffee) and the staff brought me a brand new one. Overall experience was great.
No safety box
July 30 to August 2,2025 The worst hotel stay ever. I don't understand how this hotel has 4.5 stars. This must be based on old reviews. As soon as you walk in, there's a horrible odor throughout the hotel. In our room, the AC didn't work properly, and they claimed it was the best it could do. The sink wouldn't drain, and when we asked for it to be fixed, they said it works but slowly. The shower door was broken, the toilet paper holder and other fixtures were falling off the wall, and there were terrible patch jobs everywhere with no repainting. We also noticed water damage on the ceiling. The carpet was disgustingly dirty and stained. We had to wait 30 minutes of running the water for it to get warm to bath. This place was the worst. When we asked for help, one employee responded, "for what?" and another said, "this hotel isn't that bad." Do NOT stay here.
It was all wonderful, staff was very helpful allowing us to leave our luggage with them after checking out. Hotel is clean except for our Hotel room carpets! They were filthy with several stains and looked like they could use a good cleaning. Beds very comfortable however!
Very nice place to stay!! I highly recommend. The staff is extremely nice and welcoming and are willing to answer all questions and they speak English as well as Spanish. It’s a bit far from the tourist areas, but the receptionist was so helpful and helped us map out places we could visit on 24hrs. If you are willing to use the metro, highkey consider this place. Stayed here as a group of young girls, did not feel unsafe.
Perfectly good place to stay. Quiet. Friendly service. Tucked away in a nice little corner of Paris. Room was nice enough. Fold out bed was comfortable.
Lovely, clean and modern hotel! Was near two metro stations which was very useful when travelling into Paris city centre (we were travelling with two young children). Lovely bakeries, restaurants and cafes nearby!
Nice quiet hotel hotel. Decent room and good buffet breakfast.
The gentleman on reception couldn't be more helpful. The hotel was very clean in a nice safe area. We had a lovely stay.
Would go there again.
I stayed 6 stories up in a room with heavy duty ear plugs and every morning around 6:45am a truck would come and unload inventory, smashing huge crates and sometimes giant stacks of metal chairs, it was a nightmare and there was nothing I could do about it.
Lovely little hotel in a quiet area but still within walking distance of the main attractions or good transport links. Room was good especially for the price we paid. We would definitely recommend and we would stay again.
Service was fantastic. very nice location with alot of restuarants. Staff was very welcoming and courteous.
The late hour help desk staff tried as much as possible to help on our last night of stay but the property could use some maintenance upgrades. Our A/C was not working and the staff provided two fans to help us.
Excellent service and incredibly friendly staff. The young lady at reception was very knowledgeable and helpful, advising us on attractions. Definitely visit again
Room carpet is very dirty
Superb location and really friendly and accommodating staff.
The room was very small, not suitable to 2 people with luggages. The room was clean and the bathroom as well. Not a fair exchange to the price you pay.
We were very late for check in, but ataff was very patient with us. The place is clean, small, but adequate for a single night. The shower and bed madw the long journey worthwhile. Although there are some nice spots to get food and other necessities nearby, the hotel is quite tucked away, and it's inconvenient for vehicles (hotel is at the end of a one way cul-de-sac so hard to turn vehicles around). Definitely worthwhipe to buy a subway pass as two lines are nearby. Very good experience overall.
1. No Microwave 2. AC Does not work. 3. Fire alarm keeps going on because you have to close the bathroom door when showering which is hard because i have two kids with me. 3. Charge twice for this tax thing, tried to explain that i already paid when i check in, showed the receipt, still get charged anyways. 4. the Guy receptionist was nice very welcomibg but the girl in the morning rude. 5. the hotel was ok, just really small. would not recommend if you have kids!!
good location .properity is very quite . comfortable bed, helpful staff especially the owners. quality/ price is more than fair . Andre from lebanon
Very friendly staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Towels changed daily
Hotel was nice and clean. Not too far from central. Shower door was broken
Fantastic little hotel. Quick and easy check in. Room was clean and tidy. Walking distance to central Paris. Would recommend 👌
Nice hotel and we had a great room on the top floor. Room and facilities great for us. Metro just a few minutes away and lots of local shops and cafes to browse. Welcoming staff.
I love Le Trente. Location is great and the staff is really nice! I'll definitely come back!
Excellent
It is an adequate hotel considering the price. The buffet breakfast is good. Staff is friendly.
Good location, decently sized room. The carpet would need to be replaced, as it was quite old and smelly (in our room at least). Overall, good value for the money.
I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for the absolutely wonderful experience I had during my month-long stay at this charming family-owned hotel in the Batignolle area in Paris. After a disappointing and dreadful encounter with an Airbnb, I stumbled upon this establishment, and I can genuinely say it was a delightful contrast. From the moment I stepped foot into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. The staff's attention to detail and their commitment to making every guest feel at home truly sets the hotel apart. I felt like a valued guest throughout my entire stay. The cozy and well-appointed room provided a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring the city. The comfort of the bed, the cleanliness of the space, and the thoughtful amenities made it feel like a true home away from home. Breakfast was available each morning but there are also nearby cafes. Several metro stations nearby and accessible to the entire city. I must also commend the staff for their exceptional knowledge of the city. I had a work presentation and needed to video conference and they recommended a work share location which was perfect. Your family's dedication to maintaining a high level of service and creating a welcoming atmosphere was evident. Thank you for sharing your family’s treasure with me and my family!
Nous avons dormis 4 personnes, lit double et sofa lit confortable. Chambre de grandeur normale mais tres paisible. Parfait pour relaxer de l'énergie de la ville. Bien situé près du metro brochant ideal pour allez visiter Paris.
Convenient, staff is good!
Very clean and nice hotel with access to metro (M13 & M14) and buss routes. Decent hotels around the place which open until late.
Food was good Beds were okay Staff was friendly AC and internet issues during stay
We have reserved a room with 2 beds and it turn out only 2 rooms with 2 beds are available in this hotel and when arrived they were already occupied I had a handicap person with me so stay the whole night on the chair as the bed in the room us queen size and couldn't fit 2 persons .they change the room the second day Meanwhile i review the hotel and didn't t score high so the person on the third day refused to give us a late check out and said to me you rated us low despite the fact i dad a sick person with me and only asked for an hour late check out
Estuvimos 4 noches.
This was a fairly nice hotel for the price point. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly. The rokm was snalk but for a solo traveller is perfect if youre soending most of your time outside of it. Small hiccups included key card constantly being deactivated which was quite annoying and the room was not being ready on time blfor check-in. Otherwise, would recommend for more budget-conscious travellers.
Casual small hotel, that fits more for couples and not for families with small children. Location is great, clean and nice conditions. Breakfast is good enough, but not for small children. Every day we asked for more 2 towels as they put us only 2 when we were 4 persons.
Room was quite dirty, full of dust and couple of hairs on the bed. Room is too cold and small as well.
Excellent value. Great area for dining. Long walk to Metro but buses very convenient. Small hotel, well soundproofed and with aircon and tea making facility. Highly recommend.
Overall this property filled our needs. A car rental office was nearby and two Metro stations gave us access to all of Paris. There were numerous restaurants and shops in the area. The property was clean and the staff very helpful. The room was very warm so a stronger air conditioning unit would have been appreciated.
Close to Metro stations
Very clean and quiet room. Nice and accommodating staff.
poor air conditioning, limited /bad wifi connection, dirty carpet, noisy refrigerator
Very calm and nice location accessible to metro
Beautiful place near metro station. It was quiet and very convenient. A lot of restos around the hotel. 100% recommended.
The room was clean and quiet, nice bathroom. For 4 people it was very small, but it’s Paris.
Good spot. Nice and quiet.
I wish the room was bigger and the water was way too hot and not enough towels
Had 2 rooms and stayed for 3 nights. Though not large they were very comfortable and quiet and we slept well. Had breakfast on 2 mornings. Initially thought 12 euros each for a continental breakfast was very expensive but then realised it was normal for Paris. Location OK. Paris is a trade off between central location and price. Metro only 5 minutes walk and Montmartre and Place de Clichy and flea market within walking distance too.
Friendly helpful staff, good location, nice clean rooms
Staff were very polite and friendly. Good quiet location.
Excellent location with lots of restaurants & bakeries within a short walking distance. Good public transport links to the major sights.
Nice property, very friendly staff, rooms were cleaned daily, good area, walkable to different areas, good connections for metro too, overall very pleased.
Carpet is not clean in the room. Lock doesn’t work. No breakfast provided even though I selected breakfast option before reservation in orbitz
Traveling with my adult daughter. We thought we were reserving two twin beds but found out when we got there they only have two rooms with two beds and because we did not call ahead we got to share a double bed...Rooms are tiny, bathroom even smaller. Shower door and mirror in bathroom were both broken, and toilet didn’t flush too well. Breakfast was ok, but expensive. Site says there is a lounge and bar...no there isn’t. Would not recommend.
The first staff member I met was very helpful, but the rest were just average. The hotel is located at the end of a dead end dark alleyway. When a walk in the alleyway I need to mind the garbage water dipping onto the street. I discovered what looked like human feces on the streets around the hotel. The rooms were clean, but the washroom door lock and the room door lock were both broken. I expected at least a safe room so the broken door lock is unacceptable.
Located on a quiet street, the hotel is small but clean and the staff are friendly. Rooms are not big, but big enough. Nice clean en-suite shower room. Within 2 minutes walk are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars where you can enjoy the Paris culture. Metro station 4 minutes from the hotel. Less than one hour's walk from Gare Du Nord if you are adventurous!
Nice hotel on a quiet street, with very friendly staff. Even though we spoke no French, we had no problem having our questions answered or get an advice in English. Plenty of nice restaurants around within walkable distance. Close to a metro and bus stop, we used the metro mostly and were able to get to the most major sites within minutes. Their breakfast is nice and reasonably priced, it's a good option right before you head over to explore Paris. Initially the safe was not working in our room, but they were able to fix this issue the next day. Overall we are very happy we chose this hotel for our stay in Paris, and will recommend it to all our friends.
I like the free wifi. Although it was very slow, the bald man receptionist was very helpful and he microwaved my food. good job bald man. 10/10 service. quiet neighborhood. our room was in front of an elevator but it was not loud at night. amen. i didnt like THE BATHROOMS. i emphazise THE BATHROOMS. there should be a seperator between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. water was splashing everywhere. what the fook. also there was a lack of toilet paper. also the hotel provided coffee and tea on the first day then never again. tell me why. aint nothing but a heartache. TELL ME WHY. aint nothing but a mistake. TELL ME WHY. i never wanna hear you say i've got no coffee
Feels like a boutique hotel in a cool neighbourhood.
The hotel is close to both metro and bus stops. The street is quiet and there are pretty good food options around the area. The only pity thing is they didn’t refill the tea bags.
Nice location. Clean and study place Convenient. Nice staff.
I loved Le Trente because it was set back into a dead end street which made it ideally quiet and serene whilst being very close to the nice neighbourhood its in and walking distance to the Metro. The room was clean and came with a small fridge and a proper kettle for tea and coffee. The shower was a good size and I liked the soft towels! Over all a VERY sweet hotel - quiet and calm and perfect for a good nights sleep after a long day of exploring the city of Paris!
The hotel building itself was nicely decorated but the receptionists were not helpful when we complained about the air conditioning not cooling down the room. Luckily on the second day, my husband was a saint and handy and cleaned out the air conditioning unit himself which produced cooler air and more livable circumstance. I had to practically beg for more water when we were dying of heat, even with money in my hand and she knew about the air conditioning not working, personally came to the room to witness how hot it was. She gave us a water bottle to divide between the four of us.
Great for the price!
The room and bathroom was very small. I rented the room for 3 people and paid for 3 people, the room had 2 bottles of water, so i went to the front desk and for a 3rd, the girl told me it was 2 bottles per room, no more. The second day we didn’t get water so i asked and i was told it was the first night only ??? There was a small sitting area in the back however it’s like in a residential court area where it’s very noisy as people have their windows open and you hear everything.
The hotel was about 20 min walking distance from moulin rouge . We went from there on the tour busses . The rooms are very clean and the breakfast is super delicious! The Staff was very nice especially Louisa she went above and beyond to make our trip an amazing experience!Thank you so very much! If we ever come back we’ll definitely stay there again.
This small hotel is tucked at the end of a dead-end street and is very quiet. The surrounding neighborhood has good restaurants and bars and the Monmarte is a little more than a mile away. It is close to a metro line and was perfect for our family trip to Paris. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful!
We were a family of four, so we knew the room was small, however we could not fault our stay at Hotel Le Trente. The room was clean, tidy and serviced daily. The front desk were very helpful. A beautiful neighbourhood with bakeries , a supermarket, the metro and plenty of restaurants close by. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I would highly recommend Hotel Le Trente.
Very comfortable size room with lovely amenities and very friendly staff
