Gorgeous ocean views and the area was nice and quiet. And the fireplace was such a nice and cozy touch. I loved that there was also an airfryer!

The accommodation was above our expectation! The setting right against the beach was supurb! The friendly host JJ Fourie was extremely helpful.

Location was amazing and it was a ground floor flat which suited my husband perfectly since he cannot climb stairs.

There could have been another toilet because we were 4 people and there was only one bathroom

Beautiful clean and peaceful bay, accommodation was comfortable, clean and welcoming. Definitely a well looked after apartment with alot of love and care gone into making the space feel like home.

Absolutely everything. Great space. Felt like home, honestly. The view is incredible. A walk across the road to the beach. Beautiful mountains and amazing to fall asleep to the ocean.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom groundfloor apartment. The location is excellent. It is on the beach and opposite the tidal pool and fishing spots. Everything was above expectation.

Better location you will not find,, the beach is right on your doorstep. Top quality accomodation, comfortable beds and very clean. Have everything you need (and more) in a self catering unit. Second time visiting and its a favourite.

The apartment had the most magnificent view. The decor was tasteful, and the best was the airfryer and dishwasher.

We liked everything about the unit.

If you want peace and quiet the apartments does not cater for this. There is no soundproofing. We had people who rented the flat up stairs and downstairs. The kids were having their own party downstairs and parents upstairs. We asked numerous time (nicely) to quiet down with no success. At 12:00 we phoned JJ, at 1:30 we went upstairs to ask again. This was a terrible experience. I think if you want to stay there, your neighbors around you feel like they are living in your flat. No privacy, you can hear everything. It also think there is no policies / rules around noice and this is not enforced by the property.

Very luxurious and everything you need for self- catering and entertainment. Clean and comfortable bed with spacious lounge and dining area. Braai facilities very neat and beach very near. Loved the place.

Little privacy on ground level. People in neighbouring units and entrance to top floor can be noisy and disturbing especially if children are running up and down on grass area and staircase.

The property is right in the Ocean. The view from most of the rooms is amazing The 4 apartments accommodated our big family with 20 members It is super easy to check into the building The management is cooperative

Some of the windows do not close properly. Cold air leaked into the room.

The property was superbly located, well equipped and comfortable. The cleaning staff are excellent and friendly. Communication from the host was excellent. It was lovely to sit on the patio and watch the ocean.

The bedroom offers a full length mirror inside the door of the wardrobe. It works well but it would be easier if there was another mirror in the room, perhaps against the opposite wall.

A little pricey out of season, but the beautiful location does make that an easier pill to swallow.

Logistics were a bit expensive. Recommendation: Uber, Bolt etc should operate in those areas. Also, the facility should organize its own tour ride parkages.

Stayed for 3 nights in June 24 - It's right at the bay with exact pictures as showcased! Beach is right below the house! It's perfect as the beach is not that populated and hence feels more private! Housekeeping ladies are amazing - good cleaning job done on all days! They wash the utensils daily and also wash the clothes if any - They also clean the appartment daily except for Sundays - which also can be done at additional cost. The owner of the property Mr JJ was very prompt when the geyser had stopped working temporarily! Kudos to him! its a smart TV with all modern day apps including netflix etc!

the 2nd bedroom with the double bed is very small and not at all practical. Only 2 bathrooms for 3 rooms and 6 people can get a bit tight in rush hours - need to coordinate your bathroom times.

Spacious, well equipped apartment with the best view. When we arrived the braai was stacked with wood and attention was given to detail. Everything that you need in this lovely one bedroom flat.

The location is on the beach and you really cannot get any closer. The braai room in Jan se Plek is amazing. Heroldsbaai is well kept and clean.

Please add sponges or scorers to the kitchen consumables.

Large spacious living area and bedrooms. Super location over looking the ocean. Fabulous and spacious BBQ area - brilliantly stocked kitchen with every utensil and gadget you could require!

The view is spectacular. It is located in a quiet street. The apartment is equipped with everything you will ever need to make your stay comfortable. Big fridge and freezer, laundry room, braai area in front with sea view. Ample outside seating. It's just a perfect spot!!

Parking in the garage is a bit of a struggle, but there is enough parking available in the street in front of the apartment.

Fantastic view, spacious and spotless

The location is absolutely gorgeous !! Attention to detail amazing ! Appart from the glorious setting (seafront) the hosts definitely know how to make you feel welcome ! The access was easy and without any problems. The welcoming lights made it feel like a fairy tale. We will definitely be back. Thank you for a fantastic stay.

View on the bay with countless dolphins made our stay 11/10.

The location was perfect for us, we golf and the proximity to the golf courses in the general area was good.

The parking facilities are a bit quirky, there was a risk of being blocked in to the garage.

The location of this property couldn't be more perfect. Right on the ocean with incredible views. The apartment itself is equipped with everything you need to self cater. It's tastefully decorated and very comfortble.

There were one or two minor issues that were efficiently and promptly dealt with by the rental agents. They were very responsive and handled everything professionally.

The apartment was much larger than I had expected and fully equipped with everything I wanted, even an air fryer. A nice touch is the ice machine in the lobby. The view from the apartment is superb. The braai facilities again are beyond expectation. And the staff, including JJ, were super friendly and accommodating. This was a super experience and I highly recommend Oppiessee.

The location is superb with beautiful views at any time of the day or night. We loved the breeze and big windows and balcony with bbq facilities. The bed was super comfortable and I caught up on lost sleep - drifting away, while listening to the crashing waves. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. An iron however would have been welcomed.

It was a bit difficult wielding 3 heavy suitcases up the 30 steps to the apartment. We were two women travelling and it was a bit hefty to get the luggage up the stairs

Location excellent - on the beach and overlooking the ocean. Friendly owner and staff and helpful. Enjoyed the braai facilities and balcony/outside area. kitchen had all we needed. bathroom was fine. Bedroom had a king bed and comfortable. Good underground parking and easy to access. Great walking in the area.

On the third floor and need to carry everything upstairs - not a big deal for us but an item that needs to be taken into account. They have ground floor accommodation

Interesting. There was high tide waves and that created a lot of buzz in the neighborhood.

We had to be evacuated for safety reasons but we would definitely visit again someday when the ocean is more welcoming.

Parking is a issue

It has the best location in this town and the owners made an effort to design it in such a way that you can enjoy the outdoors. the interior is modern and clean and the quality if everything in the apartment is above average. linen cutlery etc. the host was great and very responsive.

it can be noisy with a few families on the same property. I would’ve loved some fresh milk for a morning coffee.
