És un lloc perfecte. Tranquil, ben situat i molt confortable. Amfitrions súper amables.

Gostamos de tudo, o espaço é muito bonito e cuidado nos detalhes, fica a pouco mais duma meia hora das praias do Algarve mas fora da confusão do turismo massivo, numa área verde que infelizmente não tivemos o tempo de explorar...

Liebevoll renovierte Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. Wunderschöner Garten, plätschernde Brunnen, herrlich duftender Lindenbaum. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber - vielen Dank! Wir können dieses schmucke Häuschen sehr empfehlen.

George und Laura waren wirklich super nette Hosts. Schade, dass wir nur eine Woche da waren; wir hätten uns gerne noch mehr mit beiden unterhalten: wir haben viel erfahren über Land und Leute. Selten haben wir so nette Menschen kennen gelernt. Der Garten ist wirklich ein kleines Paradies, in dem wir uns wohl gefühlt haben. Man darf sich nicht von der Anfahrt täuschen lassen: einmal den Berg hoch und Garten und Aussicht genießen! Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, sehr sauber und sehr komfortabel. Trotz der Übergangssaison war es warm im Haus. Die Quinta ist fantastisch gelegen für Wanderungen in den Eukalyptus Wäldern der Umgebung. Und der kleine Ort Monchique (in der Nähe mit dem Auto) ist erstaunlich lebendig. Die Quinta ist auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge an die Küste.

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnung in einem liebevoll restaurierten Bauernhaus mit viel Charme und einer sehr gemütlichen Atmosphäre. Der traumhafte Garten und der weite Blick bis zur Algarve machen diesen Ort wirklich besonders. Perfekt zum Entspannen inmitten der Natur. Sehr herzliche Gastgeber – wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Einrichtung gemütlich

Nicht für den Gast ausgelegt. Bad ist die Lüftung nicht gut. Am nächsten Tag ist das Handtuch immer noch nass. Es gab keine Abstellmöglichkeiten. Der Spiegel hängt so tief, dass man in gebeugter Haltung reinschauen muss. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und schön, aber nicht bequem und praktisch. Der Vermieter fragte ob alles in Ordnung war. Wir dachten, es gefällt ihm, wenn wir aus der Sicht des Gastes antworten. Die Antwort war: „ nicht mein Problem, ich komme klar „ 👍

L'accueil chaleureux, le calme, le cadre verdoyant et soigné.

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem ruhigen Teil von Monchique, nur ca. 3 km vom Ortskern entfernt. Und tatsächlich ist die Quinta do Tempo eine der schönsten Unterkünfte, die wir je gebucht haben. Hier passt einfach alles - die super-freundlichen Besitzer, die Lage, der herzliche Empfang, die Natur, der Garten, die hübsche Einrichtung, die bequemen Betten, die Ruhe,... Wir werden ganz sicher bald wiederkommen.

Es gibt absolut nichts, was wir hier schreiben könnten.

Um jardim lindíssimo que nos permite um contato com a Natureza maravilhoso. Uma casinha que lembra os tempos de infância mas que tem todas as comodidades necessárias para uma ótima estadia. Voltaremos, com toda a certeza.

The accommodation was terrific. Lots of personal care and woodwork went into creating this fabulous loft room with kitchen. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would certainly stay here again on another visit.

The loveliness of the place, the attention to detail and the aesthetics of the design. The warm welcome of the host, making us feel at home instantly. Beautiful garden and places to relax outside. Location was convenient. Just 2km from Monchique, out of the bustle, yet close enough to easily access.

Sehr grosses Grundstück mit liebevoll gepflegten Anlagen, Brunnen und Wasserlauf. Kleine, hübsche Sitzecken und Liegestühle zum Sonnenbaden - wirklich sehr einladend. Toll renoviertes Haus! Ausserdem bietet der nahe Ort Monchique eigentlich alles was man für den Aufenthalt braucht.

Es war zuerst ein Bisschen schwer zu finden. - Ansonsten gibt es nichts was uns nicht gefallen hätte...

Bel emplacement,accueil personnalisé , endroit calme avec tout le confort , non loin de Monchique ou de Lagos pour ceux qui aiment découvrir la région. Si vous préférez vous reposer ou lire dans le jardin c’est l’endroit idéal.

Heel prettig huisje, gezellige en mooie tuin en heel gezellig binnen, hoewel we veel buiten waren (eten in de tuin en overdag aan de wandel). Brandschoon, netjes en hele aardige gastheer. Ook heel fijn dat er boven een twee persoonsbed staat en beneden een eenpersoonsbed.

Wij hadden een fantastisch verblijf. De studio is voorzien van alles dat je nodig hebt, en is heel proper. Het is rustig gelegen en de ideale uitvalsbasis om prachtige wandelingen te maken of dorpjes in de buurt te bezoeken. Ook is het enorm genieten in de prachtige tuin. En tot slot zijn Laura en Jorge geweldige hosts!

L'accueil chaleureux de Jorge malgré une arrivée tardive. Le confort et du logement qui comprend tout ce qui est nécessaire et même davantage. Les exterieurs qui sont très bien entretenus et propices à la détente. La situation géographique bien adaptée pour découvrir l'arrière pays ou la cote. Un grand merci pour ce séjour très agréable !

The property was natural elegance with attention to details. The garden and water features were calming the unit was so comfortable with everything I needed and more.

Beautifully restored cottage surrounded by lovely gardens set in a peaceful environment. After travelling around Portugal for 3 weeks this was the quiet retreat we needed. So close to the coast so we visited many towns and ate lots of delicious seafood & black pork. Jorge is a great host and provided loads of information to assist with our daily adventures & local restaurants for dinner. Would also recommend some time at a local Caldas thermal pool. So glad we found this haven in the hills.

Although the property is remote and difficult to find, it is an oasis of peace and beauty The garden is great with water features and lovely plantings - obviously much loved by its very welcoming owner

There are three adjacent cottages in total . When we were there the others were empty so. We loved the privacy and peace. That might change if all three were occupied by family groups. We hated the filter coffee machine. The cottage is rather dark and lighting in the bathroom poor

Beautiful garden. we loved the privacy. Utterly quiet but v near big shop for food so best of both worlds. Great location for walking in the hills and going to the coast. The little log burner was perfect for the chilly evenings when too cold to still be in the lovely garden.

Wonderful place, beautifully designed, the garden is nice, clear that every detail was thought about, wine and cookies on the table, candles, the kitchen is well equipped and clean, Jorge and Laura are very friendly and welcoming and generous Thank you It was lovely to stay in your place

Absolutely amazing place with beautiful garden. An old building fully restoref with care for the details. For everybody who looking for the peaceful place for holiday relax. Around 30-40 km from each beautiful beaches on the ocean shore.

Lovely quinta, perfectly located for the area's activities, ie. hiking. Very thoughtfully designed with a beautiful garden, lots of spaces in which to sit and relax, really nicely appointed outside and inside.

Because it's in a rural location, it takes a long time to get hot water, etc. Not a problem, just something to be aware of.

The Quinta and its garden is really lovely. It was very calm and relaxing environment.

We thought that there was not a lot to do with a 2 years old child in the region in which the Quinta is located.

Quinta do Tempo is a wonderful location in the Serra de Monchique, in the forest but near the beaches of Portimão, Lagos and Aljezur. This is the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature and explore Algarve. The property is a well restored traditional house, surrounded by a beautiful garden. The hosts, Jorge and Laura, are very welcoming, and kept in touch with us before and during our stay. This is certainly one of the places that we have enjoyed the most in Portugal, due to the property, the hosts and the location. We will certainly come back!

We liked everything.

This is such a beautiful place, so zen with the pond, gardens and peaceful. I felt very welcomed by the host and the room with upstairs loft has such charm. Beds are very comfortable. The area is lovely for walks.

We loved staying in a little slice of paradise . Most wonderful experience. The Quinta is a little piece of heaven. Jorge was great!

Quirky split level cottage with a wood burner for the evenings. Good shower, lots of hot water.

Location was great. In the countryside so it was very quiet but very close to the town. The accommodations were excellent - everything you needed was there and the landscaping around it was so pretty. The bed was comfy, as was the sitting area and the kitchenette was well supplied with necessities.

With the exception of rather poor weather which can’t be controlled, nothing was lacking.

Incredible gardens, with bubbling mountain streams and ponds. We'll done renovations if old stone buildings. Friendly owners who were very responsive.

Downstairs space was cold and needed a supplementary heater, which we received. Nearby active quarry could be loud from time to time.

Stunning room. A beautiful place for my preparation for the wedding and turned into great pictures. A very quiet place makes you close to nature.

A very calm rural location, with a beautiful garden and a very cozy room with full kitchen appliance and focus on details and guest needs. The host Laura was exceptionally helpful and welcoming, and we enjoyed each moment of staying at Quinta do Tempo. Highly recommended! A car is a must while staying here.

We loved our stay at Quinta do tempo! Room is cozy and clean and garden is absolutely beautiful. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful monchique area. Laura and Jorge really try their best to make you feel comfortable and at home. Highly recommend this place!
