Position and rooms were great . Food was also good . Staff were very helpful ordering taxi and looking after us
Nothing
Loved that both parts of the hotel were restored Havelis and all the ancient buildings and history around them. We wanted to be in old Delhi, with its lanes and chaos to experience the ancient part of the city properly. Its location was easy walk to the Red Fort and markets. The hotel staff were very helpful in obtaining and negotiating prices on vehicles to take us to restaurants and sights, which was great. The hotel suggests we didn’t give tips directly but just in a box in the hotel, which was less daunting for us.
The lane both parts of the hotel is located on is a bit narrow and grubby but as expected and part of the authentic experience which we actually appreciated. So we were happy. We did arrive in an unusually heavy end of monsoon time, so we and our bags were soaked walking from our taxi to the hotel but this was bad timing. The staff were helpful and charming.
Great breakfast and dinner. Aloo Puri was amazing.
The hotel driver wasn't there to pick me up from the airport. I got throuhg passport control very quickly and he hadn't arrived on time.
Terecht UNESCO wereld erfgoed
Très belle hôtel
Il posto è magnifico, autentico seppur lussuoso.
Great staff and a beautiful hotel.
The walk from the road was not ideal.
Breakfast was amazing Service was exceptional Location was amazing
The rooms are quite dark as there are no glass windows . Only shutters which open outwards which means they block the walkway . Hence the room is dark there is no common area or Lounge which is air conditioned to relax in so you are stuck in a dark room to relax .
The traditional architecture and way of life have been carefully preserved.
All was great. The only area that needs improvement is the toiletries provided by the hotel. The manufacturing/expiry dates should be clearly checked and updated.
Personale molto gentile e accogliente, bella struttura. Ristorante molto buono (prezzi alti).
Whenever I am in Delhi, I try to visit Old Delhi, taking any family and friends along too. And when exploring the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and the lanes full of wedding finery, silver jewellery, stationery etc the Haveli Dharampura is the oasis in the desert, the calm in the storm. It is so good to slip in through the great wooden doors to a courtyard full of charm and the AC dining room beyond. Good welcome, good food and drink, good ambience. Thank you to everyone at the Haveli for your wonderful service 🙏
Lovely and generous staff, good food and worthy make-over to this heritage site. Rooms were spacious, clean and provided reliable AC.
Unfortunately the location of the hotel was less favorable, the area was quite dirty and unpleasant, with no shops or restaurants available. We were also unable to drive up to the front door, but staff were kind enough to pick us up by main road and bring our luggage to the hotel.
Beautiful heritage buildibg
Two separate locations require some walking back and forth
The history location and architecture
Located in a narrow street in crowded and noisy Old Delhi, the extraordinary well restored Haveli Dharampura could be the setting of an old oriental tale. Stepping over the doorstep, guests enter in a peaceful world and receive a warm welcome. The confortable and extremely clean rooms are situated around a courtyard and there is a rooftop terrace overlooking the old town with the Friday Mosque and the Red Fort. From here, you can even fly a kite. Several days a week, there are short music and dance performances. The restaurant offers a good range of typical indian food. But the most charming of this hotel is without any doubt the staff: without any exception very kind, very friendly, very helpful and taking care of the guests. If there would be a Nobel prize for waiters, the always smiling Mr Rahjah Singh, would certainly win it. For all those reasons, we recommend Haveli Dharampura to all Delhi travellers looking for some confort and for a personal touch.
-very friendly and well trained staff -very clean -use of high quality materials for renovation -beautiful achitecture -evening shows right our your door -very comfortable and chique rooms, bathroom fully equipped
-nothing
The rooms are nice and it’s clean and tidy. The staff are great.
The music is pretty loud all during the day in the room we were in (the speaker is right outside the door in the corridor) and it plays the same tune continually, as if to torture everyone. This pauses at 8pm and 9pm for very loud music for traditional dance. There is no escape. Fortunately this is the third time my husband has visited India (I’ve been more) because if this was his first experience I fear he’d never have returned.
It’s a very beautiful building. I loved the short dance performance during dinner. The food is also great. 5 stars for Rajan!
Property is beautiful, real heritage. I love boutique hotel like Haveli. Hotel is well managed, staff helpful , food is very good.
Price of wine as the one they sell for 6000 in the shop costs 900 and 8000 cost 1600 in the shop :) Far too high a markup on wine.
The ambience, the location, the food, and cultural programs
Service charges o already expensive food
What an amazing place right in the heart of old Delhi. Beautifully restored, it is an oasis in the heart of the teeming city. And the staff are delightful. It is walking distance to the Red Fort through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi.
We’ve stayed here before and were happy to see the experience was just as good this time. The rooms are consistently comfortable, and the property still feels warm and welcoming. It’s rare to find a place that maintains its charm over time. Woke up early just to watch the city from the terrace. That alone made the stay worth it.
We chose this place because we wanted to experience Old Delhi properly, and it delivered. You step out and you’re right in the middle of it all. Step back in and it’s calm again. That balance made the stay really memorable for us!
Gorgeous place, very unique. Amazing cultural heritage.
Hace to walk to get to taxi, short walk anyways.
the personnel was very nice, they assisted in all the needs, thanks a lot
The architecture, the staff, the location… I could go on. So fabulous! As a buyer in fashion and interiors it was my dream!
Nothing at all.

The hotel was the most wonderful haven in amongst some crazy surroundings, but this added to the overall stay and helped us enjoy our time in Delhi. The food was wonderful and the hotel offered extra entertainment such as indian dancing, live musicians and kite flying. I would definitely recommend.
When we arrived it was difficult to find the hotel from the main road. You have to walk down some streets, which is daunting if you don't know the city
Very beautiful building and quite unique. Staff are very friendly
The hotel is only accessible by walking through narrow alleyway. In the night there are homeless people sleeping on the street and not safe to walk. You have to contact the hotel to send someone to pick you up from the Main Street. And during the day the Main Street is extremely busy again super difficult to leave by car. For the price you pay they don’t have free bottled water in the room, only pre-filled glass bottles. Not worth the price.
Everything
Fantastic location in teh Old Town and close to all the sights. An amazing property to stay in and to explore. Staff were very welcoming and the food was great,
The room was smaller than expected but very nice. Great bathroom.
Stunning restored Haveli mansion with marble floors columns & mosaics Beautiful large room with ensuite opening into a central courtyard riad style Fabulous location in the heart of old Delhi
There was nothing I didn’t like!
The most unique thing about This Hotel is its location: I would say it is the only one of this category (plenty of backpacker places) in the middle of the maze of alleyways that is Old Delhi. It is a matter of taste, if you like modern and clean streets this is not the place, if you want to be in the middle of real life, it is great. It is less difficult to navigate that you imagine at first glance and we never felt it was dangerous in any way. There are scooters, dogs and the occasional cow, in a way it adds to the charm. The building itself is beautiful and nicely restored. It feels like an oasis in the hustle and bustle of the city. Our room was large and comfortable. As is the case with the structure of many havelis you have to choose between privacy and light: you enter your room through large French doors that are the only source of light: curtains open and people can see you, curtains closed, it's dark. Nothing wrong with that, it's a haveli and that's the way it is, in a way part of the charm. The bathroom was quite small, again, it is an old building, but the fittings felt quite basic and the light was not very nice. A 5* hotel requires more attention than that. The restaurant is ok, but it didn't feel that the meal was that special. Breakfast was also ok, but relatively modest compared with other hotels of the same category. Because of the time of the year (hot) the rooftop terrace we were very keen on was not in use, so it was a disappointment. And then we come to the people. Some of them are very nice, some of them just do their jobs, with barely a smile if at all. This is specially noticeable in a place as service orientated as India. And they are not particularly helpful: We went to the reception to get some change for tips, etc. Something simple, change a 500 rupees note for 5*100. No change, he said he had 3 hundred rupees only. Where can we get it? No idea. We got this kind of change in every other hotel where we stayed. I guess that everybody go periodically to their bank branch to get a certain amount of small notes to make their customers life a little bit easier, not very complicated, it is a 5* hotel, after all. Also, the day we were leaving we had to go at 7:00, so we asked about breakfast the day before. They said breakfast starts at 7:00, we'll get a packed breakfast for you. We got the box the (early) evening before, containing (per person): a carton of not very nice juice, a small sandwich, a pastry and a piece of fruit. Obviously, by the time we had it in the morning everything was less then fresh. If breakfast starts at 7:00 it is not very difficult to put it together when they are preparing the buffet and, at least, it will not have been sitting in the room overnight. But it got worse: when we went downstairs at 6:45 everything was ready and there was a couple already happily having their breakfast. Obviously they got different information that they gave us. We were not expecting a cooked breakfast, but some fresh fruit and pastries would have been welcomed, a simple thing. At least we had a coffee. I All in all, I think there is some space to grow into a real 5* hotel. Quirky is fine, average service is not. Still, if we had our time again we would stay there, simply because the location is unique. But be aware of the shortcomings.
A beautiful property located in the heart of Old Delhi. Excellent restaurant albeit a bit expensive.
There was no mention as far as I could see that guests had to walk to the hotel as taxis cannot get through.
Terrible experience, very bad services. Had lunch with my friends
We visited lakhori in haveli dharampura the ambience was very beautiful and fascinating but the food was terrible we ordered crispy panner kebab which had too much salt and we also ordered the cucumber canopy which was refreshing and decent for main course we ordered the subz biriyani which was fully tasteless and has no salt in it and the drinks which we ordered had seeds of lemon inside it overall an very bad experience recommend Indian not to visit here.
What I remember most is the smell of food drifting up in the evening and the way the place lights up after sunset. Even walking back to the room felt peaceful. The bed was comfortable, and despite being in Old Delhi, I slept better than expected
Prachtig hotel, mooie kamer, super
Life muziek in avond zorgde beetje voor overlast omdat geluid doorklonk.
Amazing experience! The location was perfect, the staff were very friendly and always ready to help. The food was delicious, and everything was very clean. Special thanks to Upendra for his assistance — it was highly appreciated. Highly recommended!!
Beautiful building with a great ambiance. Fantastic restaurant and the view from the roof is unbelievable. The hotel is a peaceful oasis in the middle of lively Chandni Chowk.
Room was a bit basic.
It’s a historical hotel with a beautiful courtyard and nicely decorated rooms. The atmosphere is relaxing and chill, all the staff are friendly and make sure you are comfortable. But the most care and attention we received from Bhim. When I asked an employee for salt, he just brought me salt. It was Bhim who asked why I needed and when I said it was for sore throat he brought me honey and ginger tea, which actually helped me. The next day he went further and follows up if needed another one. Throughout our stay I felt very sincere and caring approach from him, which made him stand out among everyone else. In fact, he has the right kind of personality to be the hotel manager of a hotel which wins mainly due to customer service. The neighbourhood around the hotel is kinda dodgy where you have to walk through a narrow, dirty streets to get to the hotel. There is no good restaurant to eat within walking distance, so either need to take a taxi or dine at the hotel. The pricing is way above the average, the portions are small but taste good. The breakfasts here were quite poor during our 2 night stay. I wouldn’t rate it even for the 3 star hotel level. Although the hotel positions itself as a 4 star hotel with Indian heritage there were no Indian delicacies like I expected. No meat positions at all, no local deserts which is substituted by some bakery which didn’t feel fresh to me.
I had a great experience dining here. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with just the right balance of energy and comfort. The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with attention to detail. Every dish felt well thought out, from the appetizers to dessert. Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and the staff offered helpful recommendations that enhanced the experience. Overall, it’s a place I’d gladly return to for a delicious and enjoyable meal.
-Excellent location in the old city (though preserved from outside noise). -Beautiful building. -Excellent breakfast. -Nice staff.
-Hotel then to be noisy at times due to ambient music or spectacles. This is a nuisance. -Direction said they would upgrade me but... the upgrade never came. This is unprofessional. -Stayed many days with them and, on the last day, staff showed up at noon to check on me checking out. Not courteous. -Over-priced compared to other high end hotels. They make you pay an excessive premium for the location and/or havely type I think. -Balcony railing is too small - this is to the point of being dangerous. And/or if you have vertigo, you should avoid this place.
Location is perfect for anyone looking to explore the chaos of Old Delhi. Great people, great food, beautiful place - highly recommended

Great location, very clean and tidy place to experience the hustle and bustle of old delhi Would highly recommend Great helpful and friendly staff
In the heart of Old Delhi, this charming boutique hotel with traditional architecture offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat from the city’s hustle and bustle, which is greatly appreciated. The rooftop terrace is a real highlight, with lovely views over the rooftops and the nearby mosque. The location is ideal for fully experiencing the vibrant atmosphere of Old Delhi. While the reception experience was rather formal, the restaurant staff were very welcoming and attentive. Room rates are slightly higher than some comparable boutique hotels, but the unique setting and overall comfort make it a pleasant stay
We really enjoyed our experience at the Hotel Dharampura in Delhi! The hotel was clean, it had attractive and traditional architecture and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was great value for money and we loved our stay. We’re a family of four (two adults, two children (14 and 12)) so we booked two rooms. They were comfortable, luxurious and an escape from the busy and chaotic city. We stayed for three nights ABC we were disappointed to leave! After visiting Delhi we got a train to Agra, and the staff were very keen to give us a lift to the train station which was very kind of them. We already had booked an Uber but the staff carried our bags to the road and were keen to help. Overall we loved our visit and we would definitely consider visiting again if we’re back in Delhi! Title: Very friendly staff and calm environment Photos: no photos
We had a fabulous few days in early February. Watching the early evening kite flying on the rooftop, with a drink in hand. Located in a quiet area near the Jama Masjid mosque. The view looking down into the courtyard all lit up is breathtaking and really shows the beauty of this hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet. The food was fabulous and the staff were friendly, smart and attentive.
This place slows you down without trying. After a long day of sightseeing, we came back and just sat quietly for a while. No phones, no plans!! The evening breeze on the rooftop and the faint city noise in the background made it one of my favorite moments in Delhi.
Das Hotel braucht dringend eine Renovation. Es schwankt zwischen antik und schäbig
What a place to stay - an oasis in the middle of Old Delhi. Staff made us very welcome from the airport pickup, reception and allowing me to fly a kite Restaurant was exceptional - we had the taster menu on our second visit
Nothing
A wonderful Haveli in the back streets of Old Delhi. Clean spacious rooms and a light airy courtyard area.
The service of some staff is poor and we were made to feel an inconvenience when wanting to order drinks on the roof terrace. Whilst the food tour they offered was interesting, at £40 per person it was very bad value for money and we were then asked to pay an additional $11 dollars on top for the tuk tuk that transported us between food stalls. I would therefore save your money and eat in the hotel restaurant instead.

Lidt for høj musik
Me encantó!
Fantastic service. Everyone was so friendly and they really could not do enough for you. Amazing experience.
Everything was perfect.
Wunderbare Oase
It is not just accommodation it is magnificient experience 🙏🌺
New haveli is nice
The staff seems to be underpaid - direct tips are not even allowed
We arrived late at night and unfortunately had a very difficult experience. The hotel is located in narrow alleyways where cars cannot access directly, so we had to walk through crowded streets with people sleeping on the ground and pass areas that felt unhygienic and uncomfortable. The room itself was not clean. Towels and bed linen appeared dirty, and there was visible mold in the bathroom, which could also be smelled in the bedroom. Due to these conditions, we decided to leave after one night and move to another hotel.
Heel vriendelijk personeel, mooi hotel en leuke locatie
Staff very kind and helpful, restaurant ls excellent
