Needed a bit of tender care, few things lacked attention to detail but for one night it did the job.

Nice sized room clean and comfortable. Used the in house restaraunt, excellent food.

Getting into the car park was not easy, would be helpful if directions given.

We booked this whole hotel for 28.09.26 for the weekend as we were getting married in the area and wanted to be together with our bridal party. On first impression the welcome from staff was warm and the hotel and rooms were clean. During our stay we were asked to keep our 3 year old party member quiet, the staff member told the child himself if she wasn't quiet he would call the police!! The noise from the child(ren) was from them walking around on the wooden flooring. The Children spent the rest of their time in the hotel on their tiptoes trying to be quiet. We didn't have the daily room service as was stated on the website so had to ask for toilet rolls and milk etc to make drinks in the rooms, the milk cartons were mainly sour and we purchased our own milk, we had to clean out the fridge before the milk could be put in it. We also had to request a dust pan and brush to clean dried food up from the room floor when we changed a bed's location. We were told again on the second night to keep the kids quiet. On the night of the wedding we were locked out of the hotel and had to stand out in the rain until the hotel answered our telephone call to let us in despite knowing what time we were expecting to be back. Every morning the hotel door was unlocked with no staff to be seen. Since leaving the hotel we realised one of the groomsmen had left his brand new £400 3 piece suit in the hotel room. Tbe hotel have advised it will have been disposed of!!! After 3 days any items left at the hotel are disposed of as it's presumed by the staff that people don't want them! On contacting the hotel the customer service has been disgraceful, we now have to travel back around 60 miles to attempt to find the suit which cost almost £500. Highly disappointed with our stay.

Good location.

Not child friendly-staff told our 3 year old traveller if she wasn't quiet he was going to call the police!! All she was doing was walking around the room which had wooden flooring. Rooms not tended to daily, toilet rolls, tea/coffee/milk not topped up, had to go to reception to collect more supplies. No one around staff wise until late morning so no chance of breakfast. Hotel locked us out, had to wait out in the rain until we contacted hotel to ask them to let us in, staff then laughed at us! Customer service really bad. Contacted the hotel following our stay to advise one of the groomsmen had forgotten his brand new 3 piece suit, hotel advised they bin anything left over when customer leaves. This suit was very expensive and purchased for this specific wedding weekend, who throws away a brand new suit presuming no one wants it??? They had all our contact details so why wouldn't they contact us? Fuming!.

Very good value for money, friendly and polite staff. Walk in shower was a good size and the cleanliness was to a good standard all towels and bedding clean. Easy check in and check out. Superb location very central and free parking included.

There is no plug socket near a mirror for a a hair dryer or straightners. A mirror in the main bedroom would solve this. Kettle was a bit grubby needed cleaning but the inside was clean just needed a wipe on the outside covered in grime and dust. No toiletries in the bathroom.

Clean, friendly and the restaurant food is delicious

Restaurant seemed to be the main focus of the team.

No greeting on arrival. Checked in a given key with brief directions to room. Linen on all the sofa’s in reception, towels everywhere on landing and dirty crockery too. We booked prior to change of management. Hadn’t received any communication to advise this. Booked B&B but no breakfast offered. When I questioned timings for breakfast, I was advised to visit a local cafe that was closed. No apology for inconvenience. Room wiped down but not clean. Tea & coffee in room enough for 1 cup each despite staying for 2 nights. Team only seemed interested in restaurant guests. Would have tried restaurant if had a better experience in the hotel.

Wasn’t impressed at all for the price you pay

Very noisy while trying to sleep our rooms seemed like we were right above the restaurant hence the noise windows were dirty cob webs around the windows which hadn’t been cleaned for quite a while the rooms were abit tatty and dark

The shower really impressed me. Not a conventional shower but a wet room within the room.

The shower head appeared to have quite a bit of limescale build up. The leg on all bathroom fawcets was also quite long to wait for. Would be beneficial for staff to advise that you'll need to leave the water running for a prolonged period of time before it gets warm/hot

Staff were helpful and explained about late night out of hours process. It worked we returned after midnight and were let in quickly. Room was a great size, plenty of towels.

Not really a concern, no one there to check us out , but left key at reception.

The property was perfectly located for our weekend at Donnington racetrack,just 15mins up the road. We paid for 2 nights & that’s what other hotels wanted for just one night closer to Donnington. The staff were fantastic.Even stored all my ice packs over night for our cool box the next day. The food was just amazing & very well priced. It’s the staff that make the biggest impact though,always eager to be of assistance & very friendly. We booked a delux family room. Had everything we needed in there & the beds were very clean & super comfortable.

The fact that the food was so delicious we ate in the hotel on both nights we stayed!! Compliments to your Chef.

Ripped net curtains in our bedroom. Bedside lights not working. Fan didn’t work. Kettle didn’t work properly. Floorboards were broken and nipped your feet. I’ve got videos and photos of the above if needed

I didn't give top marks on every question, it was much more than ideal, a beautiful building with staff from 1st arriving equally friendly, professional in every way, they organised me a dinner but the dinner will stay in my mind for ever and location is 2 streets away from my new property, amazing staff I'm sure certain even if not here again for a stay I'll be coming back to enjoy the meals.

Well up until now with still couple of hours left of my stay, I can only guess that my dislike if there's a dislike and I know it'll be in a real good memory and I know that we'll pass almost everyday and I'll just hold good experience.

The heatwave was not the hotel’s fault and they provided fans. The check in and out process was very easy. Big bathroom with huge walk in shower. Can’t fault the value for money, we will stay again.

Room was small but that’s not terrible given the price and the fact that we just needed a bed for the night.

We arrived back at the hotel at 11:40 after an evening out to find the front door was locked. We had not been told this would happen or how we were to gain entrance at this time. I had to ring the hotel number and someone came to let us in.

Everything could have been better, cleanliness, lack of toiletries, scruffy bathroom, dirty windows, nit enough towels, dirty linen on floor outside room. Room not cleaned second day. Returned from a family funeral at 8.40 pm and after complaining it was cleaned at 9pm! There’s more!

Unfortunately there was not much to like.

Everything - the rooms were grubby, the bathroom was dirty on the floor and I didn't even want to use the shower. Hair on the bed, dirty walls and tv. Just disappointing.

-Our room was spacious. -Friendly staff -Shower felt amazing

-Online says they do room service but they don't. -Bed had dips in. -Left at 7am and the front door was locked. Called the number on door but no answer, was able to get out on my own in the end. -shower head had a lot of clogged holes. -could only one channel on the tv/ dodgy remote too. -have to ask staff for the wifi password and the connection is awful, couldn't even send an iMessage

I didn't dislike anything but the room wasn't up to Travelodge or Premier inn standards

Bed is quite hard for me personally, but as only stayed one night, it did the job.

Location excellent for Long Eaton. Room large but a bit dark. Otherwise adequate. It is actually an Indian/Nepalese restaurant with rooms above but I did not sample the menu. Probably ideal for workers staying in town to keep the costs low.

A 'hotel' should provide breakfast and, if 24 hour desk is implied, then someone should be there to let you out in the morning. Guest house would be a better description.

Great location, spacious room and bathroom, had the facilities we required. Decent for the price.

The toilet seat kept falling off and the bathroom in general could go with some TLC. The staffing situation seemed odd, receptionist didn’t greet us straight away when we checked in, and then around the clock there didn’t really seem to be any staff around!

Our room had no key - we had to leave it unlocked when we went out! Sink and window ledges were dirty.

The accommodation was adequate and the facilities were all operational.

General feeling of run down - ness. Generally everywhere needed a deeper clean and shine. More staff needed to make the stay more welcoming.

Very clean, bed was very comfortable. Good private car park. Very helpful staff.

Wasing and showering privacy: An extra curtain would have been good between sink and bed area. Only one chair.

We arrived later than expected and had to leave early in the morning. The check-in and out was easy. Exiting the building early morning was easy too. A really good hotel, clean, helpful staff, comfy beds, lovely shower room area.

It took a while to find the car park, but once we found it there was adequate car parking.

Staff were brilliant. We had a problem with the heating in our room and they went above and beyond to fix it in no time.

was easy to get to from motorway. Staff were friendly and attentive. The Indian restaurant was excellent. very very good quality food and quite modern. Was fantastic value too. It wasnt very busy which was surprising as it was great.The bedrooms were decent and, to be fair, were good value for the price we paid. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast wasnt very good. Considering the evening meal was fantastic, the cooked full English was not upto the same standard, unfortunaty. The bathroom was clean but the shower curtain could have been a bit longer to prevent water splashing onto the floor.

TV had no remote working remote. Bit short on plug sockets. Didn't realise you couldn't get a breakfast.cheap and cheerful.

Clean and comfortable beds good price

Nothing major, indoors could do with little touching up of paint, and small issues but all cosmetic nothing major. Only thing that was strange rather than good or bad, was there is a window in the bathroom that is on the outside where the bedroom is. So in short, if your friends sharing a room I wouldn't advise it as one person will be lieing in the bed and they can see the other person sitting in the toilet! Haha am sure they were meant to put privacy screen on the window but maybe forgotton.
