The apartment was quiet and very well appointed with everything you could need for not a short or long term stay. The owner Ema met us and gave us some great tips as to what to see and restaurants to try. A. Awesome experience by all accounts.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Die Lage war super, das Parken des Autos angesichts viel Tourismus erschwert.
Leider war der Boden ziemlich schmutzig, überall Sand und Haare. Die 3. Schlafmöglichkeit auf dem "Schlafsofa" ist ungeeignet, da die Couch gerade mal 180 lang ist, keine ebene Liegefläche hat und obendrein sehr abgenutzt (aufgeplatzte Polsternähte und Flecken).

Spazi ridotti, adatto a pernottamenti brevi. La finestra della camera da letto al piano terra affacciata su una strada di passaggio rendeva poco confortevole il ricambio d'aria. Avessi saputo avrei scelto l'appartamento al piano superiore.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Location was close to beach which is lovely. Lots of cafes and restaurants around. Ema communicated the entry instructions by text which was very helpful, and also lots of local recommendations including when there was a carnaval. The place is a full apartment with a separate bedroom, full kitchen, dishes, spacious bathroom (with a wonderful shower!) and sitting room / dining table area. AC was great (two of them - 1 in bedroom and 1 in living room), Wifi worked well too. It is quiet in the space which is great, because it's very close to the beach and a highly packed touristy area.
The picture showed a swing in the apartment but there was none. The windows face alley on both sides - bedroom and living . It was a bit unsettling for me - to have daylight with open blinds meant seeing people walking by and them seeing you inside. When it comes to changing clothes or going into shower it's not ideal. But you can close the blinds, which i did. The other thing was the towels have rust on them, though clean. i asked for fresh ones and got them, but those also had some faint rust. Ema was less quick to respond to this request but ultimately we sorted it out.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Die Gastgeberin war immer freundlich und zuvorkommend, hat hilfreiche Tipps für die Freizeitgestaltung gegeben und hat Probleme sofort behoben. Die Zimmergestaltung war sehr liebevoll. Die Tür hatte ein Sicherheitsschloss, sodass man sich auch sicher gefühlt hat.

Algunos muebles están un poco desgastados por el uso.

Reviewed May 26, 2026La proximité avec le front de mer était bien évidemment un vrai plus et ce qui nous a fait choisir cet appartement. Nous avons eu de très bons échanges avec la propriétaire qui était très sympathique et qui nous a bien renseigné sur les environs. L'appartement est tout à fait fonctionnel pour 2 personnes. Le canapé est un peu mou et la télé petite mais ils ont tous les 2 le mérite d'exister. Le mini balcon était lui aussi très appréciable surtout avec le séchoir à linge qui nous a permis avec ces beaux jours du mois de mai de faire sécher notre linge.
Je n'ai pas trop aimé les tâches de rouille sur les serviettes et le papier toilette dû au support de chacun. Pas de vrai parking à proximité ou garer sa voiture mais avec un peu de chance vous trouvez une place un peu plus haut dans la ville

Finding the apartment with a car was a nightmare. I finally found a place to park and walked the narrow streets to find it. When I did, the key was not in the door of our ground floor unit as it was supposed to be. I contacted our host, and I was told to check the upper floor units. There were keys in the 2nd unit up and none in the 3rd unit up. I contacted the host about the keys in the 2nd unit and was told it was rented already for 3 nights, and we couldn't use it. I asked how we were supposed to get keys for our ground floor unit. She then decided that the 2nd floor customers took our ground floor unit and was told we would need to take the 2nd unit. I then left to get the car as I had figured out which narrow street to turn on with our luggage. When I got back to the unit, the door code to get in didn't work as it did the first time, and we were locked out. I contacted the host again, and she couldn't understand why it wouldn't work and resent the same code. She then concluded that the clients in the ground floor unit locked the exterior door with their key, and I needed to use my key that was still in the door in unit 2. She had to contact the unit 1 clients to come back to let us in. We then told them that they were in our unit and they agreed to move to unit 2. In all, it took 2 hours to get into the apartment, all via numerous messages on WhatsApp. It would have been much easier if the host had come to the apartment in person and straightened out the mess.

Reviewed May 18, 2026Die Lage ist top. Mittendrin und nur 30 Sekunden vom Strand entfernt und trotzdem ruhig gelegen. Grösse vom Apartment ist gut für ein paar Nächte. Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und war jederzeit erreichbar. Kostenloser Parkplatz ist ca. 7 Minuten zu Fuss (öffentlicher Parkplatz). Direkt vor der Tür ist ein Minimarket.
Leider war für mich bei der Buchung nicht ersichtlich, dass das gebuchte Apartment im Erdgeschoss liegt. Es gibt 3 Apartments. Wenn ich das vorab gewusst hätte, hätte ich das Apartment nicht gebucht. Die Ausstattung war ok, aber leider schon recht abgewohnt (Sessel war schmutzig, der Badezimmerspiegel wurde mit Klebeband abgeklebt am unteren Rand, im Badezimmer kam Wasser durch die Fugen des Bodens). Es roch auch sehr feucht in der Wohnung. Zudem war uns das Bett leider nicht bequem. Preis Leistung ist ok aber die Bilder und die vielen sehr guten Bewertungen haben meine Erwartungen leider nicht erfüllt.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Well-appointed, spotlessly clean apartment on a quiet street but only 30m from the beach. For a couple there was plenty of room; it might be a but crowded with four (we did not use the second double bed, up some steep stairs to a mezzanine floor) although probably fine with small kids. Nice to have a filter coffee machine (coffee supplied) rather than the ubiquitous, wasteful, Nespresso-type devices! There is a small supermarket only 5 mins walk from the apartment and dozens of restaurants equally nearby. It's <5mins walk to the funicular railway to the upper town and absolutely amazing views of the huge Atlantic surf and wonderful beach of Praia do Norte.
Nothing to dislike -- loved it!

Nie korzystaliśmy z kuchni w pełnym zakresie, więc nie ocenię wszystkich sprzętów, ale był czajnik. lodówka. płyta - wszystko sprawne. Łazienka czysta, wygodna, było gdzie powiesić ręczniki i postawić kosmetyczkę. Czysto. Uroczy, niewielki balkonik, mna wypić kawę z mikrowidokiem na ocean :) Mały, lokalny sklepik tuż pod samym domem.
Byliśmy w marcu, pokój trochę pachniał wilgocią, ale spodziewałam się tego. Myślę, że zdecydowana większość noclegów w portugalskich miejscowościach położonych nad samym oceanem ma tę przypadłość. Nam nie przeszkadzało to w wypoczynku. Nocleg oceniam bardzo dobrze.

I can recommend this apartment for 2 up to maximum 4 persons (foldable sofa in living room is next to kitchen area, so once is prepared for sleeping you`ll not have too much space inside. It`s similar with dining table - fine for 3 persons but challanging for 4.
I missed coat hangers after entering apartment - only ones I found in bathroom so if you want to put your jackets on hangers, you need to go to bathroom. This is probably not a issue if you arrive there in summertime.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2025A localização. Perto de restaurantes e praia. A 30 min a pé da praia do norte.
Ficamos no apartamento do res do chão. As janelas dão para a rua em ambos os lados da casa. Não é possível abrir as cortinas e estores para ter luz natural caso queiram ter privacidade. O apartamento não está em bom estado. Muitos problemas de humidade. O chão está a levantar, os armários, rodapés e portas estão danificadas pela água. A cabeceira da cama está rasgada e cheira a humidade. Tudo o que é metálico está enferrujado. Os azulejos do duche estão com bolor nas juntas. No geral o apartamento não estava bem limpo e as toalhas eram tão velhas que tinham buracos e se rasgavam ao secar depois do banho. Dormimos três noites e acordamos a meio da noite nas duas primeiras noites com a televisão que se acendia com o comando do apartamento de cima. Na terceira noite desligamos a televisão da ficha. As fotografias não correspondem ao actual estado de conservação do alojamento.

Nie podobało mi się stara hydraulika, kran w łazience. Szarowate ręczniki, było widać że wyprane, ale już stare. Ale mimo wszystko polecam ten apartament!

Reviewed Nov 12, 2025Appartamento molto bello, con tutto. Design moderno. In posizione centralissima e con parcheggio a poche centinaia di metri dalla struttura. La proprietaria molto gentile, ci ha dato molte informazioni prima dell’arrivo e si è voluta sincerare più volte che fossimo stati bene.

Reviewed Oct 30, 2025Logement bien situé (mais au rez de chaussée ) et facile d’accès, avec parking gratuit à quelques minutes à pied. Pour une nuit, cela convient parfaitement.
Quelques bémols : odeurs d’humidité dans l’appartement et télévision qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement.

Reviewed Oct 27, 2025Het is een klein compact appartement. Het bed is erg comfortabel. Alles wat je nodig hebt, is aanwezig. Koffie, thee e.d is daar. De ligging is perfect, zo ook de communicatie met de host.
De meubels zijn te groot voor de ruimte. Daardoor wordt je beweeg ruimte erg beperkt. Tip; kleine ronde tafel met 4 stoelen, zal beter werken. En de hangstoel, die leuk is, maar verder alleen in de weg hangt.
