Amazing location. Walking distance to many cultural attractions. Most importantly amazing staff! They were very helpful.

Stunning views, fabulous room and rooftop bar/resturant. Great location, close to all “must” see sites. We walked everywhere and used MRT and boats as well.

Beautiful view of wat arun! We invested in the upgrade to the suite, made for a special experience.

The staff were very accommodating about letting me check in early. It was a great hotel if you have a long layover or short stay. The room is very comfortable, the air-conditioning great, views from the restaurant on the roof are lovely and 3 of the main attractions in Bangkok are within walking distance

Die Sicht von unserem Zimmer auf den Fluss und den Wat Arun war einmalig. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Das Zimmer könnte etwas grösser sein.

LOCATION WAS SPOT ON FOR THOSE SEEKING LOCAL VIBE

ALL THE WALLS ARE DECORATED IN MIRROR. ASIDE FROM THE TINY ROOMS, I FIND THE TOILET AND BATH WEIRD. THERE IS NO PLACE TO UNLOAD YOUR LUGGAGE EXCEPT THE BED

I booked the premium jacuzzi room and the views were incredible. From the balcony you could see Wat Arun and the river and watch the boats go by. In the evening when the restaurants below are open you get the most incredible smells. The restaurant food was good and the view is spectacular as you can also see Wat Pho from the side of the terrace. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The local area has som me great cafes open during the day and a few restaurants opposite that are open in the evening. It is very close to Wat Pho and a the Grand Palace which makes sightseeing easy as you can get there early and beat the crowds.

Fabulous location and amazing view of Wat Arun. The staff were so kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. I would stay here again!

The breakfast “buffet” was underwhelming, but convenient. And, the view from the roof can’t be beat.

It was overpriced for what it was. For 600 US they put me in a room where you could barely walk around the bed and when you sat on the toilet your feet were in the shower. I did get moved after 2 days.

We absolutely LOVED Riva Arun. The location is simply perfect — an ideal base for exploring the stunning nearby temples, with great restaurants within walking distance, a safe and welcoming neighborhood, and easy access to the rest of the city via water taxi or train. There's even a 7-Eleven around the corner for water and supplies, which sounds like a small thing until you actually need it. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful at every turn. But the true star of the stay was our waterfront room. It was one of the pricier hotels on our trip, and the room itself is compact — but the view? Absolutely off the charts. Worth every penny. We would return without hesitation and recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. Above Riva, the hotel restaurant: the breakfast was amazing, the dinner atmosphere was lovely, and the views are just as spectacular as the ones from the room.

One small but worth-noting improvement: the bathroom commode light is controlled by the same switch as the bedroom light, meaning any middle-of-the-night trip disturbs whoever is sleeping. A separate switch would be an easy fix and make a real difference. We improvised a workaround with some electronics, but it shouldn't come to that.

Nossa estadia foi simplesmente perfeita. Pegamos o quarto com vista para o Wat Arun e fez toda a diferença. Os funcionários sao muito simpáticos e prestativos. O cafe da manha é maravilhoso. A localização é perfeita, fizemos muitos passeios a pé. Eles recebem a gente com um cha tailandes e biscoitinhos típicos. Tem um restaurante em frente perfeito, estrela michelin. Foi a primeira parte da nossa lua de mel e só a agradecer!

Am besten ist die Dachterrasse mit Bar und Restaurant und die Servieleute!!! Gute Speisekarte, Wein im Ausschank (!) 👌 Die Lage direkt am Fluß und Anlegestelle. Und der Blick auf Wat Arun!

Zimmer super funktionell, doch auch eher klein. Umgebung eben pft überfüllt mit Touris und Verkehr.....

The staff were AMAZING !! Can’t remember all their names but the lady who welcomed us and dealt with my mini tantrum when I realised I’d booked a hotel without a swimming pool (🙄) to the reception staff, roof top staff etc . Location is perfect . Dozens of coffee shops/restaurants on doorstep and minutes away from pier where you can book river trips . Room was exceptionally comfortable and well thought out making use of the space to include everything you need . LOVED this hotel !!!!

L’emplacement vraiment parfait, juste à coté du Wat Pho, du grand palais et de l’embarcadère pour la traversée du fleuve, la vue sur le temple est tout simplement magnifique…les employés vraiment aux petits soins ( pink au top🙏).

Rien rien en particulier mais mérite un bon rafraîchissement et un entretien des équipement. Et déçu du restaurant de l’hôtel, un peu cher pour la prestation…

Gute Lage direkt am Fluss beim liegenden Buddha. Downtown mit dem Taxi etwa 25 Minuten. Sehr zuvorkommendes und hilfsbereites Personal.

This was the first hotel we stayed at on our first trip to Thailand. The location was great. We could easily visit the different sights, hop on a river boat or metro, and quickly go to the different areas of the city. For breakfast the terrace restaurant served a great breakfast at a very fair price then, at dinner, there was a spectacular view of Wat Arun with all the lights and the food was truly delicious. — large portions at a very fair price. Now let’s talk about the bed - it was soooo comfortable!!! Lots of great pillows and sheets were high quality. We had a room with a view of the river and also Wat Arun. We were worried it would be loud at night but everything died down by 22:00 and we slept like babies! The staff, especially Pink, were the best ever!! They were authentic and genuinely cared that their guests were well taken care of. They arranged for a driver to take us to Ayutthaya and answered any and all questions we had in a refreshingly helpful way. We felt well-cared for and our stay was memorable. We’d recommend our friends to stay there and, next time we come to Bangkok, we’ll be sure to stay there, too.

Area restaurants, massages, amenities in immediate area very pricey, view room was not as advertised as we were in 1st floor with building, restaurant, and awning blocking views. Should not advertise as view-should say very limited views.

Great location near two very nice temples and the flower market. The room was perfect with a great view of Wat Arun. Hotel was clean and staff was very polite and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Emplacement extraordinaire ! En face du Wat Arun et a 2 pas du bouddha couché et du palais Royal. Splendide terrasse ou l'on peut prendre ses repas ou simplement prendre un verre: c'est magique ! Personnel vraiment tres tres sympathique

Excellent hotel, staff couldn't do enough for you. Food was lovely. And the restaurant has exceptional views of the temples. Rooms were air-conditioned, clean and tidy with toiletries and water included. Within easy reach of the grand palace, & reclining buddy and a short, cheap (5bht) ferry ride to Wat Arun. The tourist boat pier is also close by for easy access to other attractions on the river. Would definitely recommend ☺️

The Riva Arun Bangkok clearly stands out because of its excellent location by the river and the spectacular view of Wat Arun, especially during breakfast and in the evening at the restaurant. The view is truly special and without question the hotel’s biggest highlight. Apart from that, however, the hotel did not fully convince us. The rooms are quite small and awkwardly laid out, which makes them feel cramped. There was also a strange, unpleasant smell in the hallway, and overall the property seems like it could benefit from renovation. Considering the price level, we feel that breakfast should be included, as the overall value for money does not fully match expectations. On the positive side, the staff is friendly and helpful, and transfers were well organized, which we appreciated. Conclusion: A decent choice mainly for the location and the view, but otherwise nothing particularly special. For this price range, Bangkok offers hotels with a stronger overall experience.

Staff was exceptional! Location perfect! Nighttime dinner viewing Wat Arun, memorable! Very comfortable. Would visit again.

It was a bit difficult to understand the electrical switches in the toom.

Die Lage ist sensationell. Am Fluss direkt gegenüber Wat Arun gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Golden Palace, Wat Pho, dem Blumenmarkt und zahlreichen anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten entfernt. Vom Rooftop Restaurant hat man einen tollen Blick auf Wat Arun. Das Personal ist überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit, die Zimmer schön eingerichtet und komfortabel. Herausragend war das Bett, das so bequem war, dass wir auch gerne tagsüber mal eine Rast einlegten.

Einzig bei der Klimaanlage hätten wir uns für nachts noch eine Stufe niedriger für die Geschwindigkeit des Ventilators gewünscht. Aber in der zweiten Nacht hatten wir uns schon daran gewöhnt.

The hotel is conveniently situated along the vibrant river Chao Phraya and rooms have views of the beautiful Wat Arun. There is a fabulous rooftop bar and restaurant that over looks the river far and wide. The hotel is close to other attractions and little shops and street food if you want a snack. The rooms are very clean and thoughtful stocked with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows made me feel like l was at my own home. The staff are super friendly and ready to help or give you advice for your excursions. We even received a hand written card from the staff as a thank you for staying with them. The food and drinks were also delicious. I loved eating my breakfast at the roof top restaurant every morning and watching the boats busily passing by. I highly recommend staying at Riva Arun for your next visit to Bangkok.
