Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans cet hôtel et, malheureusement, l’expérience a été très décevante. Dès la première nuit, nous avons eu un gros problème avec la douche : l’eau ne s’arrêtait plus et il n’y avait personne à l’accueil pour nous aider. Nous avons dû rester réveillés jusqu’à 2h du matin pour réussir à arrêter l’eau. Le lendemain, ils ont simplement changé tout le robinet, sans aucune excuse ni geste commercial. Le personnel à l’accueil n’est pas agréable. Dès notre arrivée, on nous donne plusieurs feuilles à signer avec de nombreuses règles et des amendes pouvant aller jusqu’à 2 000 bahts. Pour chaque demande, on a vraiment l’impression que la réponse est systématiquement « non ». Concernant la chambre, la propreté laisse clairement à désirer. La douche était très sale et la chambre également, avec de la saleté visible sur les murs. L’éclairage est également beaucoup trop faible le soir. Autre gros problème : la climatisation est directement orientée vers le lit. Il est donc très désagréable de dormir avec la climatisation qui souffle directement sur soi et nous nous sommes réveillés en étant malades. Le petit-déjeuner n’a rien de spécial non plus : nous avons mangé exactement la même chose pendant les 3 jours. Globalement, la propreté ainsi que le service sont très décevants.

Ban Chang Tong is a very handily, very well located hotel, and the facilities are good, the pool is nice, the room was excellent this time, better than our previous stay. And we enjoy using Ban Chang Tong as our base when we're in Chiang Mai.

Presenza della piscina ottima per rilassarsi dopo le attività della giornata o semplicemente per sfuggire al caldo. Super Lage in Chiang Mai zwischen Nachtmarkt und Altstadt Mit dem Pool und den vielen kleinen Nischen schön zum entspannen und abkühlen. Unsere Koffer wurden während eines 2 Tages Trips sicher für uns verwahrt und in unser neues Zimmer gebracht.

Le manque de conseils touristique pour nous aider a découvrir la région aussi je leur ai donné des cartes d' un bon salon de massage et nom d'un bon chauffeur privé pour d 'autres clients .mais je pense qu'il ne veulent pas prioriser l'un ou l'autre donc en ne donnant pas de conseil avec ou chez qui aller du coup ils restent neutre ce qui est ferplay en soit

The windowless rooms are tiny and not great the bigger ones are good The staff is trying their best to keep the property clean it’s just starting to get run down The female front desk staff is amazing and helpful although the male staff is clueless

The walls are super thin - you will hear the people coughing and laughing in the room next door

Beautiful hotel and pool, loved the shower (step down not an issue!) and the open spaces for reading and exercise.

The bathroom could benefit from more space to put belongings and hang wet towels and clothing.

Cadre incroyable, petit hôtel où règnent calme et sérénité ! On a pu tout faire à pied, idéalement placé.

Nous voulions deux chambres côte à côte, car nous étions en famille. Le personnel n'a pas honoré notre demande (problème de compréhension ?), car la chambre voisine était libre.

Had a really lovely 4 nights in the Ban Chang Tong Hotel. Rooms were lovely. It's a minalimistic hotel which is what I prefer. Come and go as you please. No one fussing over you. Breakfast is good. Finishes at 9:30am. Check out is 12 noon again very reasonable. Doors open all night so handy for late night revellers. Bathroom is nice too. No bar per day but plenty of options around and you can buy beverages at reception both alcoholic and non alcoholic. Overall, a positive stay and I would stay again .

If I had to be critical, the pool is close by and can get a bit noisy when trying to have a siesta. That said, it's part of hotel life and nothing noise cancelling headphones couldn't fix. Just a FYI.

Hôtel charmant et très bien placé, dont les chambres donnent sur la piscine. Je recommande cet endroit qui mêle architecture traditionnelle thaï et modernité. La décoration est sophistiquée et le personnel est souriant et accueillant.

Die Innenarchitektur hat neugierig gemacht und ist sehr schön. Das Zimmer war groß. Es gab schöne Nischen zum Verweilen und der Pool hatte schon etwas besonderes.

Das Bad war ein enger Schlauch. Das hat die Bewegungsfreiheit eingeschränkt. Leider hat das Hotel keinen Lift. Wer einen großen Koffer hat, hat es schwer. Auf die 3.Etage zu kommen. Es wäre wünschenswert, das Frühstück etwas abwechslungsreicher zu gestalten.

Virkelig venligt personale. Fin morgenmad og rene værelser. Vi fik rengjort værelse 1 gang om dagen, hvilket var virkelig rart. Beliggenheden var fantastisk - tæt på en del markeder og restauranter.

Poolen måtte godt have været opvarmet. Vandet var meget koldt og der kom ikke særlig meget sol ind

The rooms were much smaller than in photos, cleaning staff were good the rest were quite disiterested and basically couldn't even tell you the most basic info - like where's a good coffeeshop - there were 2 within 2 mins walk. The breakfast was beyond average-

The Photos that made me think this hotel is good Their consent to cancel 4 out of 5 night that we had already paid for ( via help from Booking)

No additional soap (only one small piece per person pet day), no face towel (“use the hand towel for the face”), not possible to have one more water bottle ( same as the Soap), no mirror near the bed (where Electric socket is) to see yourself when you dry your hair. The hole they call a bath and all this is within the the most expansive room they have. (Deluxe room). We left this „4 star 8.8 rated“ 1 hour after check in.

If I went again I’d skip paying for the breakfast and walk 100m down the road and get one with a real coffee at a better price.

It was pretty noisy as the rooms overlook on the main corridor and only have glass windows, so you can hear people passing by from outside. You could also hear a lot of noise from the next door rooms.

Beautiful authentic feeling hotel, lovely staff and a great location. We stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed our time at Ban Chang Tong. The staff were always smiling and friendly and greeted us when we arrived back at the hotel. It is not listed but the hotel also offers free parking at the temple accross the road, which was helpful when we hired a car last minute. The location was really central and accessible, although worth mentioning sometimes the road was closed off for some of the walking markets, so you couldn't park at the temple. There were lots of bars, coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk of the hotel and only a 10 minute walk to the night bazaar. The breakfast was nice and an option of hot food could be cooked fresh for you each morning. The pool was a nice touch too and made for a refreshing dip after a day of walking around the markets.

The room was a bit small and the bed was quite hard. Also there was a big step down to the shower and the first time I used it, I slipped and fell, so definitely not for those with poor mobility.

Truly beautiful, unique and quirky hotel. Lovely change from a conventional chain. We upgraded our room for a small fee which was well worth it, the room was lovely with high ceilings. Pool was great for a freshen up and staff extremely kind and welcoming. Particularly liked the location, within easy reach of the old town and also other good neighbourhoods to explore night markets, muay thai and bars.

Nous avons passés deux premières nuits à notre arrivée en Thaïlande, ensuite nous sommes partis pour la Boucle de Mae Hong Son en moto pendant 6 jours. L'établissement nous à gardé nos bagages pendant ce temps dans une consigne... Ça facilite la logistique pour le retour de la boucle

L'accueil: très souriant, le cadre de l'hôtel nous met de suite dans une ambiance de détente Petit déjeuner: +++ La localisation: à 10' des marchés du soir à pied, à 10' de l'aéroport en voiture Nous sommes partis au départ de cette hôtel pour faire la boucle de Mae Hong Son pendant 6 jours et ils ont gradés nos bagages durant toute la durée de notre voyage.

Situé à proximité de la vieille ville, à pied à 7mn. Personnel accueillant. Qualité du petit-déjeuner (salé et sucré). Bonne climatisation.

Murs peu épais donc on entend les chambres voisines. Chambre un peu petite. Douche un peu étrange car le niveau est situé 50cm en dessous du niveau du sol.

Should have mention the bathroom there is a hole concept. It was a deep hole. Because this may not be suitable tor older people or disabled persons. No water dispenser available for public use.

ナイトマーケットが徒歩圏内で便利な立地でした。部屋の廊下側の壁がカーテンつきの窓になっており、落ちつかないけどユニークな建物です。

２部屋利用しました。ダブルルームは広く、窓があるものの夜は明かりがたりず暗い。また、どちらの部屋もバスルームの入口が非常に狭く、暗い。シャワーはぬるめです。朝食はシンプルで、ポットでおいてあるコーヒーはインスタントコーヒーでした。水やちょっとした軽食がいつでももらえるホテルが半分の値段であるなか、わざわざ選ぶ必要がないと感じました。写真がきれいだったので期待しすぎました。

The hotel is beautiful and so are the common areas.

Breakfast is repetitive and not that extensive. Nice salad, no cheese nor cold meat though, only jam to go with the quite average bread. The staff is professional but very rigid. I asked for 1 hour extra for check out, but they said no. I overheard one of the guests telling them about a bad experience he’d had in a bar (ripped off ). He was very upset and then asked for some water and they said they didn’t have any. The cleaning ladies leave water bottles in the room so the least they could have done was going to get a bottle from the cleaning ladies. Very rigid!
