Personal na nas cekal, i kdyz jsme prijeli az po zaviraci dobe a dostali jsme veceri, kterou jsme si predem objednali. Toho si velice cenime. Vsem doporucuji tento skvely maly hotylek uprostred pevnosti v Galle.

The hotel was in a great location. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean We loved the historic features in the room combined with the modern facilities. .

Although plenty of lights in the room, a brighter light to make it easier to read a book would have been good.

The rooms are clean, really comfy beds and quirky- the kids LOVED the sleeping platform. Everything worked really well and the location inside the fort is amazing! Special mention to Sanjay who went out of this way to help us and the amazing fuseball lady who was such fun! (Sorry didn’t get her name!)

Nothing really. The position of the toilets inside the room might not be to everyone’s taste but fine for a family

The property location was very good and allowed us to just walk everywhere we needed. The room was nice. The breakfast was good as well.

Getting to the room is a bit of a challenge but no too much of a hassle.

Mi è molto piaciuto , camera un po' piccola ma accogliente , il wc era staccato dal lavandino e la doccia era in un'altra porta e le porte erano mezza aperte , ma bellissimo .

This was a great stay for a short break in Galle. The location could not be more central, situated in the heart of the Dutch Fort. The hotel is clean and well maintained offering rustic charm. The staff gave a warm welcome and were very professional. Recommend dining at the restaurant Puppets, the breakfast fish curry is outstanding

If staying in the family room, the Mezzanine room is not suitable for small children due to the stairs and low balcony

Alojamiento coqueto en Galle. Ubicación excelente. Desayuno de lo mejorcito de Sri Lanka. Personal encantador. Habitación bonita, pero tal vez pequeñita para una familia de 4 como nosotros. Poco espacio para dejar los trastos. Pero hay que tener en cuenta el tipo de alojamiento que es,un hotel boutique con muchos años de historia. Para pasar una noche más que suficiente. Gracias por vuestra hospitalidad.

Très calme, confortable, bien équipé et bien situé pour faire le tour de la ville fortifiée. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellents. Merci encore à SanJaya pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.

We wished we had stayed here another night. Hotel was in great location, interesting place, a great slice of history. We had to leave early 6.30am to catch our plane, they organised staff to come in early and prepare breakfast for us before we left.

A bit of rain comes in on walkway to rooms but not an issue.

The room was very cute and lovely. The approach to the room was also charming and enhanced the feeling of being on vacation. Breakfast was also wonderful. My daughter wasn't feeling well in the morning, but they were very kind and helpful.

I had mentioned at check-in that I wanted to have breakfast early and received their permission, but this hadn't been passed on to the morning staff. When I spoke to the morning staff directly again, they responded quickly and with a smile, despite my unreasonable request.

想像していたよりずっと広い部屋でした。部屋のインテリアは可愛くて期待通りでした。スタッフの方はとてもホスピタリティにあふれ、目が合うといつも笑顔で挨拶をしてくれます。朝食はフレンチスタイルかスリランカスタイルのどちらかを選べます。私はスリランカを選び、大正解でした。とても美味しかったです。通りにはかわいいブティックやジュエリーショップがあり、歩いてすぐの場所にビーチもありました。ゴールに行くときはまた泊まりたいです。

お部屋は外の光が入らないため、日中の暑い時間に部屋で寛ぐには少し暗かったです。

Character filled converted old building. Exceptional location. Great staff and restaurant.

Just needed a little more of somewhere to lay your bags. Enough for a single person, not a couple.

部屋の雰囲気が町のコロニアルな様子とよく合っていて、ほかはずっと無機質な感じだったので、楽しめた。 階下がキッチンだったが、夜は静かになった。サイドランプもいくつかあり、助かった。

シャワーブースのガラスが短くて、外にシャワーがいかないように苦労した。荷物を置く場所が少なく、テーブルが非常美不安定だった。朝食はおいしかったが、出てくるまでに時間がかかりすぎた。

This hotel is in a fantastic location right inside Galle Fort, full of atmosphere and charm. Breakfast was excellent, with both French and Sri Lankan options that were delicious. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. A great choice for anyone wanting to experience Galle Fort with comfort, character and hospitality.

It was an amazing experience to be staying at Le Jardi Du Fort. Everything was excellent - the location was just so apt because we had senior people in our group! The place in itself was so quirky and very unusual in a brilliant way! All of us enjoyed our stay here.

Everything was perfect! One small point of feedback - one of the bathrooms had a shaky commode. It would be great if you can get it fixed and voila, aside to that, it was just perfect overall! The staff has been lovely and very accommodative!

Fabulous location inside the fort. Cute and clean. Staff were very helpful and the bed was comfortable. Great shower pressure.

The location of the hotel with Galle fort is excellent, easy walk to the shops and the main tourist attractions. It’s within the fort and full of character with lots of puppets hanging on the wall, which gives it a memorable quirkiness. The highlight, however is the staff, who are wonderful, really fun and friendly and clearly get on well with one another. There’s a good atmosphere within the hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.

Es un pequeño hotel, especial por su decoración romántica y original. Nuestra habitación tenia dos niveles y los niños quedaron encantados. Las camas son cómodas y el personal es muy amable. El desayuno era completamente personalizable y se adaptaron a nuestra dieta sin gluten. Bien ubicado para visitar la zona turística de Galle.

I loved my stay at this little hotel. I was expecting a very tiny room (the single room), but to be fair it was a bit bigger than I expected. The room was super clean, simple but had everything I needed including air con and fan. Special mention to the staff, everyone was friendly and incredibly helpful, they really made my stay special. Breakfast is fantastic!

The only thing to flag is that the windows face a balcony, not the outside, so you don't really get a view. And the toilet was only separated to the rest of the room by a small wall - so if you need maximum privacy that's something to consider. But for staying in Galle 2-3 days it was just perfect!

Great location. Nice room. Breakfast was great. Staff was helpful. Room had water, tea and coffee and electric kettle. The restaurant Puppets is a great option for meals.

Mostly everything was great though it did get loud during the day.

Kamers zonder buitenraam, trap via keuken. Zeer brandgevoelig, lijkt me niet toegestaan.

We spent one night in Le Jardín du Fort and it was lovely. The location is absolutely incredible and the staff working here are all so lovely and welcoming. They made sure we had everything we needed from the start to the end and provided us with the best service. Would recommend this place to anyone. Rooms are lovely and clean with hot showers and working air con. The vibe of the place is also very nice. The breakfast was excellent.

Such a charming place to stay. Loved the quirky style, lovely rooms and kindness of all the staff we met. Sanjay in particular was really attentive and helpful to us. The breakfasts (& lunch/dinner options) at their restaurant “Puppets were really tasty and great value. All in all, we thoroughly recommend staying here - if you want to be somewhere with bags of personality and in the charming heart of the Galle fort area - choose here!

Magnifique chambre, personnel souriant et attentif, dîner délicieux avec une cassolette de prawn curry à tomber. Le Jardin du Fort est parfaitement situé et offre une atmosphère chaleureuse.

Das Zimmer war unfassbar schön und wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und immer freundlich. Das Frühstück konnte man am Vortag auswählen und es war unglaublich lecker. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen – absolute Empfehlung!

Quirky and cute. The rooms were comfortable. The staff were polite , friendly and helpful. Central location was good for walking out. I had the breakfast granola bowl with fruit which was delicious.

The rooms were cute but lacked space if you wanted to unload your suitcase. A couple of days was perfect.

La camera è un po' piccola. La colazione è arrivata dopo 40 minuti di attesa nonostante avessimo programmato l'orario.

Great place to stay in the actual fort with some character. Great for walking the ramparts. Helpful staff and clean, cool room.

Sjarmerende lite hotell med litt avantgardistisk koloni feeling. avslappet atmosføre og svært sentralt. Busy kafefront mot gaten hvor du får frokostservert. God mat. Åpen kjøkkenløsning så det er liv og røre. Hyggelig å ta en drink her om kvelden også, men mye lyd. Stort flott rom. fine fasiliteter. Gøy sted å bo på. Badedag? dropp bystranden og hopp i en Tuk Tuk til Jungel beach eller litt lengre men flott: Unawatuna beach. Det ligger en strand nærmere også, langs hovedveien.

Det var mye lyd overalt for en som har ME og er svært lydsensitiv. bytranden er dessverre forsøplet og det er trist. Plast ligger over alt. Her bør byen og hotell gå sammen og ta affære.

Bel hôtel dans une magnifique demeure coloniale. Le personnel est très accueillant. La chambre est grande, la literie très confortable. Tout est très propre. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant mais le PDJ était excellent ! La communication était fluide et nous avons eu toutes les infos avant notre arrivée !

La chambre dans laquelle nous étions sentait parfois les égouts à cause de la salle de bain. Pour une nuit c'était supportable.

Personnel très accueillant, emplacement parfait. Bonne literie et douches chaudes très agréables! Les petits déjeuners proposés étaient variés et tous délicieux. Un grand merci pour l'accueil, spécialement à Ashen pour sa disponibilité et sa gentillesse.

Hem tingut una estada fantàstica, el personal molt atent i sempre ajudant-he en tot el que necesites, la habitació genial, espaiosa, neta i confortable, el berenar bonisim amb molta varietat per escollir. En resum el recomano 8 de fet si torno a Galle segur que serà la nostra elecció.

Did not bother us as a family, but the toilet was not completely sealed off from the room we stayed in which could be an issue for some who want more privacy.

Das Zimmer war sehr schön, gepflegt, mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und hatte eine besondere Atmosphäre. Es gab verschiedene leckere Frühstücksmenus zur Wahl. Das Personal war ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit.

The character of the place is amazing. So chic so french :) Our room was gorgeous and plenty spacious for 2 peeps. The coffee was great and presented beautifully. We loved our stay here and the staff ensured all of our needs were met with big smiles and gratitude.

Dont be offput by the overzealous email re the rules - once you arrive you will understand their reasoning.

Location within the fort, 100 metres from the wall. Exceptionally friendly staff in hotel and adjoining restaurant. Great breakfast… I went for the “Full French”.

I stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. I had expected to have a view from the window, but the window — when opened — showed a small area with some potted plants with very little natural light, and also the path for waiters and other guests to walk past en route to the kitchen and bedrooms. To put a positive spin on this, I had amazing sleeps as the room had no light coming in to it.

The staff are great. The rooms are comfortable. Location is excellent.

The rooms are in the back of a restaurant and sometimes the noise travels.
