MABI City Centre

Located in a quiet street just off the main square and an easy 20 minute walk from the railway station. Excellent staff at reception and an above average breakfast.. They definitely try to spoil their guests. I will go back.

Nice hotel at a great location in the center of Maastricht. A former cinema and the hotel interior has nice references to that time. It also has a small cinema room which you can reserve for free (and you do get popcorn!). Also, a complementary glass of wine between 5-6 pm as well as soup throughout the day was included in the price. Staff were nice and helpful and the room was clean with good facilities. Definitely worth a second visit.

a wonderful find in Maastricht! a quirky hotel that is not just about gimmicks. The hotel itself was clean and the bed was most comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and there was a good selection of choices for all dietary needs. The staff were kind and helpful and professional and treated us with respect. We only wish we had time to visit the cinema and for bubblegum and popcorn but sadly this trip was very short. We would love to return as it was different and unique but also close to amenities and the town centre, attractions and MECC. Would certainly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in Mabi. The whole place was nice, the room was quiet, verything was in good order, the view was beautyful.

Our stay at the hotel in Maastricht was absolutely wonderful. My cousin and I brought our 86-year-old grandmother to see André Rieu, and the hotel couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was ideal — close to the concert venue and the beautiful city centre, making everything easy and accessible for her. The staff truly went above and beyond, offering genuine warmth, assistance, and thoughtful touches that made our grandmother feel so comfortable and cared for. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and quiet, ensuring a great night’s rest. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — highly recommended!

Hotel muito próximo das atrações no centro da cidade. Tem alguns mimos gratuitos tipo pipoca, salgados na recepção. Tem lugar para deixar as malas. Cama muito confortável.

Walking distance to market and restaurants was close. Only issue we had was airconditioning is unable to be set below 20 degrees so was quite stuffy in room. Could ask for key to open window however key was missing when we asked so unfortunately had an uncomfortable night sleep. Otherwise bathroom facilities were excellent and room serviced daily.

Sehr freundlicher Empfang, außergewöhnliches Hotel. z.B. Kino, Popkorn, auffälliger Frühstücksraum, fantasievoll, sehr sehr schön. Wir hatten zum Hinterhof ein Zimmer. Es war für uns ungewohnt zuzusehen, wie Dealer dort ihre Drogen verkauften. Ein trauriger Anblick.

Prima hotel.

This hotel is in a great location - just off the Markt. It's a fun vibe, being a former cinema. It is very well kept with lovely rooms. Breakfast was excellent! Note though that you must park elsewhere. The closest is the Bassin car park, but note well where you come OUT, as it is very hard to find again!

Das Hotel liegt absolut zentral aber trotzdem relativ ruhig. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön gestaltet und auch mit den Familienzimmern für Gruppen eine gute Unterkunft in der Stadt.

We returned to the Hotel Mabi and were very happy with our 4 night stay. From the welcome, to the welcome drink to the free wine in the bar. Really comfortable room, all staff very polite and welcoming. Great breakfast. Very well located only 100mtrs or so to the big square with loads of bars/restaurants and atmosphere. We used the Q-Park Bassin which is only 3/4 mins away which worked out great. As we were in out of the car park quite a few times over the 4 days we saw the benefit of having pre-booked as the barriers just opened automatically. No fuss. After all the good things written about Hotel Mabi why would you stay anywhere else?!

Excellent location, quirky hotel, would stay again. 1 minute walking to the city centre. We had a deluxe double room with kingsize bed and it was huge. Good bed and good pillows!

Pros of Mabi Hotel Maastricht. Staff are excellent, without exception, each member we encountered couldn't have been nicer. Professional, courteous and extremely helpful at all times Location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Minutes away from the market square with an abundance of bars and restaurants as well as daily markets close by. Cons; this really is a very basic hotel, no fridge which is normal for a 4 star hotel and which I needed for medication. Rooms are extremely dark both floors, and walls, very cheap interior it really was very depressing. I couldn't believe not even a wardrobe in the room just a square box type piece of furniture with hangers. The Bathroom was extremely old and very dated, hard towels. Breakfast, continental had a very meagure selection, the hot food was cold albeit we arrived early for breakfast. We subsequently left the hotel and gaf breakfast outside. Would I return, no way, at most this is a 3 star property. The best thing about the hotel is the staff.

Just home from a short 3 day break in lovely Maastricht. Hotel Mabi was a great choice in a quiet location but so close to the centre of town. Comfortable room and a lovely 5pm complimentary drinking hour where many guest’s mingled. Fabulous service from Emily at the bar. We will return

Wonderful helpful staff, well equipped spacious rooms with everything you need, good finishes, right near the market square and close to Mosae Forum bus stop. Extremely good value for money compared to other hotels in the area.

Very close to old Maastricht centre, nice, clean room, pleasant and accommodating staff, unexpected free (tasty) wine and nibbles in their happy hour, and even an in-house cinema where you choose the film. We couldn't work the TV but we didn't ask the staff as we just used our laptop instead. Good value although we didn't have the breakfast that seemed pricey.

the location of the hôtel is perfect, 1 minute walk from the center, but the room are really quite.The bed is perfect. Spécial thanks to the receptionist Kimberley who makes us feeling spécial.She was over our expectations.

The room had no soundproofing at all. During the night, every noise from the corridor, neighboring rooms, and the road outside was clearly audible. Additionally, the placement of the bedside light was inconvenient—you had to get out of bed to turn it off, which was especially frustrating when reading before sleep. Unfortunately, the overall comfort of the room was disappointing. However, on the positive side, the room was very clean, spacious, and well-equipped with a large TV and a coffee machine, which were nice additions.

We had a lovely experience at this boutique hotel. The booked the room for 4 and it was very spacious and clean. The location is unbeatable. The cinema with popocorn was a night touch well received at the end of a busy day.

Stayed in a triple room for one night at end of December 2024. Location: By far the best thing about hotel. Located on a side street beside the central Markt. Roughly a 15 min walk to central train station. Check in/Service: Not rude but certainly not particularly friendly or inviting. Room: Decent size. We had 2 double beds (each one was 2 singles pushed together). However the mattresses were very thin and pillows were not particularly comfortable. The toilet is separate to main bathroom. The main bathroom has a decent shower and big sink and mirror. A hair dryer is provided but it barely worked. The separate toilet is like a small tiled box without any ventilation and had a smell. Personally, we did not like this set up. There are wooden floors and you can hear every footstep from room above you. You can also hear road noise early in the morning. There was no mini fridge in our room. We wanted to buy a bottle of water for the room but hotel does not sell water (it sells beer and has a popcorn machine but not water). We asked reception about this and told to go to a nearby shop. Breakfast: We didn’t include breakfast and from looking at breakfast room glad we didn’t. It looks like a canteen. There are plenty of nearby breakfast options. Overall we were disappointed with our stay and expected more for the money the room costed.

Entering the hotel you are greeted by welcoming and nice employees who help you check in even when you have the possibility for self check in. The room we almost missed because the roomnumber was missing on the door. The room (307) was nice but not up to our hotel clean standards. The bathroom specifically. The grout, showerhead & -door, crevices of the toilet could be cleaned better/more often. The sink and mirror were clean. The lights in the room were quite bright because they chose spotlights in an almost black room which made unpacking your bag quite difficult and seeing anything in the black part of the room. We unfortunately were not able to access the cinema but it looked very fun. You can stream/cast your own choice of movies in there. The bar had a happy hour with free wine and amazing service. Very inviting to come back.

Moderne accomodatie in hartje Maastricht. Hele fijne ligging, 2 min lopen van de Markt af. Je kan zelf inchecken en uitchecken, dus dat is ideaal. Nette, schone kamers en in t algemeen gwn mooie uitstraling. Enige minpuntjes: contact met personeel was beetje onpersoonlijk en ze kwamen niet heel geïnteresseerd over en wel heel gehorig in de kamer. Maar, zou er zeker naar teruggaan.

This was our 2nd time at Mabi Hotel Centrum and hopefully not our last time. The check in was easy, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, bed, and bathroom. The hotel is close to everything we wanted to do in the city center yet on a quiet street just off the main city square.

Voor een stedentrip prima ligging. Prima verzorgt hotel, vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. En een heerlijk ontbijt. Deel van personeel spreekt alleen engels. Maar dat is in heel Maastricht. Even opletten bij parkeren. Parkeren kan dicht bij het hotel, maar is een Q-park parkeergarage met Q-park tarieven. Al met al voor herhaling vatbaar.

Fijne en moderne plek, midden in het stadscentrum. Lekker ontbijt.

Mooie kamer, fijne badkamer, niet erg ruim met 3 single bedden, ontbijt prima, maar chaotisch en veel was al op rond 9.45 uur. In de nacht herhaaldelijk geluiden van de leidingen en piepjes. Mooi in het centrum. Erg duur voor wat we er voor kregen.

We had a lovely experience staying at Hotel Mabi for 2 nights.The staff were extremely welcoming and very informative ,especially Danique and Emilio.Location was excellent. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and I would definitely recommend it to others.

All staff I encountered were absolutely fantastic, very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable, plus there were cute little touches that made it unique. The location was spot on for me.

The hotel is very centrally located just off the marketplace. The entrance is welcoming, with a bar/ seating/workspace off to the side. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Room was large, clean & comfortable. I didn’t use the restaurant, so can’t comment. Great value for money. It was not a busy time in town, I could imagine street noise could be a problem in summertime.

We stayed in the family room, with four beds, and the room was large, especially by European standards. The front desk staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. The location was ideal, near the market. We stayed four nights while our daughter got settled for university and consider Mabi the hotel of choice for Maastricht.

I really like the hotel, but I did expect better. Room was fairly small. I could harly do even a bit of morning yoga. The soap/shower gel wasn't replace everyday (thank god I had some with me). There was no wardrobe in the room. very uncomforatnle for a longish stay.

Very nice hotel in the City Centre of Maastricht Staff is very friendly, they offered good umbrella's on the rainy day. Special was the free wine at Happy Hour. We enjoyed it. The room was clean, except the fuul basket on the bathroom.
