Metropolitan Hotel Dubai

It’s a good hotel, but room assignments are a matter of chance. It’s conveniently located for trips to the city center, the beach, and the airports. The Equity metro station is just a short walk away. This was my second consecutive stay at the Metropolitan, as my first visit went very well and I was pleased with it. The first time, I was given a non-smoking room with a bathroom and a balcony. It was simply fantastic! Room cleaning is up to par. Everything is clean and tidy. However, there were some stains on the floor lamp and mirror, and the carpet needed a more thorough cleaning, as white socks immediately turn gray after walking on it. This isn’t a big deal for me. The main thing is that the bedding is perfectly clean, as is the bathroom. Sound insulation in the rooms is average. Because of the connecting door, you can often hear guests from the neighboring room, especially children, even at night. In that regard, you don’t feel any privacy when talking in your room. But on my second visit, in August 2025, I was much less fortunate I was given a room without a balcony and with a shower stall instead of a bathtub I usually check in before the official check-in time, and the front desk kindly checked me into my room early both times. I told the front desk that I was willing to wait if they could give me a room with a balcony, but they told me there weren’t any available. There’s also practically no difference between the Guest and Deluxe rates. The front desk said that Deluxe rooms overlook a garden, while Guest rooms face the street. I booked Guest the first time and Deluxe on my second visit. Both rooms had a view of the street, but the Deluxe turned out to be worse because it lacked a balcony and a bathtub. It’s a real shame that there’s no way to guarantee a specific room with a balcony and a bathtub, so you have to settle for a game of chance.

Five stars for the service and quality. The property is very clean, and you can tell the housekeeping team takes great pride in their work. The staff are very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Make sure to try the restaurants the food is very amazing and there are so many great options to choose from!

Sandeep at the concierge was great. Helped us with luggage, taxi booking and also told us about Careem app. All the staff at the Al Safa restaurant were really kind during our stay at Metropolitan

Metropolitan hotel was really good. We stayed here when we were stranded in Dubai during the Iran war of March 2026. The rooms, the buffet are top class. In addition, the staff is also very kind and really go above and beyond to help us. I would like to thank Sandeep at the concierge desk who gave us some good tips about the popular places to visit during our stay. He also helped us to get in touch with the emirates staff to get our flight rebooked. He also helped us to book us a cab back to the airport as well. I would definitely stay over here again for the experience.

We were dropped in the Metropolitan hotel under exceptional circumstances. The 28th of February, the airspace in Dubai was closed, given the missile threats and the unrest in the region. The correspondent flights for thousands of emirates passengers were cancelled and the airline company has distributed us in different hotels. We had the chance to be in this hotel and really taken good care of. All the personnel - from the cleaning stuff, the reception, the concierge, the stuff in the restaurant - were extremely kind and attentionate. The management of the number of people arrived this Saturday evening and the assignment of rooms was done in a very orderly and efficient manner respecting the priorities for elderly people and families with children. The stuff in the reception, our friends Kamal and Faham, were particularly caring, responding to our questions with patience and importantly with a genuine smile. We really appreciated their professionalism which is a very important quality when dealing with clients under stress in such rare occasions. Some of us were in fear for their lives and the hospitality experienced in the Metropolitan hotel and its people helped us go through this in a very pleasant manner. We felt really taken care of. The service, the cleanliness, the rooms, the personnel all contributed in our amazing accommodation . A big thank you to all of you. Valia

Amazing service by all the staff here and great amenities! The breakfast buffet is also great here. Exceptional hospitality by the housekeeping team especially by Mudassar! The hotel is also quite centrally located and walkable to metro making it very convenient to reach anywhere in Dubai. I highly recommended Metropolitan for your stay in Dubai.

I had organized my wedding reception in the banquet however the experience was quite bad. Not the finalized menu, no room booked for the couple wherein initially it was informed as a complimentary. No signage board. Starters not served properly. Sales agent not present at the time of event. The worst part was there was no apology, the message and email was left unattended. Not even a single call after the event to check on what went wrong. Immensely disappointed!

I stayed in this hotel last month and i reall enjoyed it. Their cleaning service as well as their reception both are amazing. At fist glance i found the room top notch on cleaning standards. I met my floor incharge Mr. Mirza Mudassir i hope i spell it correctly he was very nice and attentive on the floor. He manage his staff like the way it should be. He checked up on me regularly if everything is good in my room or not: Staff like him in the property always an asset to the company. I will be back soon with my family next year.

I strongly recommend long stay in Metropolitan Hotel. We stayed for about a month and half in this hotel, It is perfectly situated in the middle of Dubai walking distance from the metro station, very near from Mall of Emirates. The place is very clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful specially with the children. I would like to specifically thank Mr. Loren JIJITH, Mr. Abdelbaky and Ms Carolyne. Nice boutique type setting. The hotel is only 2 floors with a roof top pool. Walking distance from metro. Older facility but well looked after. Enjoyable breakfast from the restaurant. Jijith is positive and happy along with his staff. Efficient at ensuring your taken care of well. I look forward to staying at this central location again here in Dubai!. Pool area is also great...small relaxed facility

I went to visit my sister who was staying at Metropolitan Hotel in Al Barsha, as it’s close to my place. We wanted to have dinner together, but since the hotel restaurants were already closed at 11pm, we decided to order food and eat in her room. Unfortunately, the receptionist refused to allow me to go up and insisted I stay only in the lobby. This was very disappointing, as in most hotels I’ve stayed at, visitors are allowed to go up to the guest’s room at any time. We simply wanted to spend a few hours together as sisters. On top of that, the receptionist’s behavior was very rude, which made the experience even more unpleasant. But i respect their policies, just to share my experience visiting this place last August 18,2025

Visited the Al Safa restaurant for their business lunch and it was both affordable @ Aed 55 pp for a 3 course meal with a beverage and great service. Special thanks to Anju, Anil, Ramha and Loren for their quick and friendly service. Food was delicious and worth it.

I had an amazing and unforgettable stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Dubai! The staff were so kind and helpful — really made me feel welcome. A big thank you to Esther, the manager, who was just fantastic, and to Lorraine, our server at the restaurant — she was friendly, attentive, and always smiling! The food was absolutely delicious — the breakfast buffet had so much variety, and dinner was just as impressive. The pool area was great too: there’s a pool for adults, a smaller one for kids, a bar, and great music playing. Everyone, kids and adults alike, had a blast! I’d definitely come back here without thinking twice. They even offer a free shuttle to the beach and nearby malls, which was super convenient. There is also a dedicated place where you can smoke chicha (we are not smokers but it’s always good that everyone find his interest). The location is also perfect — close to the beach, Downtown, and the Marina, all within 10 minutes. I truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai.

I felt home at the Metropolitan Hotel and that’s thanks to you🙏🏻🙏🏻 The hotel is very well located, close to main highway, connecting easily either to North/Downtown, or to South and Marina and very nice neighborhood of Um Suqiem/ beach access. Metro station Equity is close by and very convenient (10 min from the hôtel - normal walk - straight forward) and the red line brings you to both North and South destinations. MOE is the next stop south. Dubai Mall some stops going North. No matter your reasons for staying in the Metropolitan, you’ll find it very convenient. I stayed on half board and had very healthy and pleasant breakfasts and dinners, with a large choice of food and meals. EThanks to the Chef and his brigade 🙏🏻
