No hay aire acondicionado en el hotel , entonces te ponen unas máquinas súper ruidosas de manera que o te mueres de calor o no puedes dormir del ruido si quieres tener la habitación fresca. Además, nos despertaron con ruidos de obras a primera hora de la mañana sin previo aviso. Como reclamamos esto, nos cambiaron a otra habitación donde no funcionaba el agua caliente y en mientras estaba tomando una ducha, el agua empezó a salir café (tengo fotos y video). Volvimos a reclamar y nos ofrecieron volver a cambiar de habitación. Vamos que a ese paso nos cambiaban de habitación todas las noches. Muy caro para lo que realmente es, sugiero ir a tomarse un cóctel si quieren conocerlo (el frente es muy bonito) antes de pagar mucho dinero por estar incómodos sin poder descansar.

This was our 2nd stay we love the hotel we love the location

This stay on our last night we had a horrible smell coming from the bathroom. We had to keep the bathroom door closed to minimise the smell. As we were giving in our key I thought it important to report this to reception but the response was quite un caring apparently if the wind blows a certain way the toilet smells… I expected to hear that they would look into it prior to the next client provide an apology but there was nothing. This was one of the more expensive superior rooms.

Amazing place to stay. Full of history as in welcoming atmosphere, so in marvelous design. Superb central location. Stunning views. Nice swimming pool.

Emplacement impeccable, à cinq minutes de l’embarcadère avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et les îles autour. Un style années folles qui n’est pas pour me déplaire. Personnel à l’écoute et agréable. Une expérience inoubliable.

The hotel’s historic atmosphere, peaceful setting, and beautiful views were truly wonderful. Its unique character really lets you experience the charm of Büyükada. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay on the island. Although we didn’t personally need it, one of the staff members mentioned an interesting detail: apparently, the hotel had gone without air conditioning for around 100 years, but AC units were finally installed just last week! :) Also, I have to mention that this hotel had the best-quality hotel slippers I’ve ever seen.

Since the hotel is a historic old wooden building, the sound insulation is naturally not very strong, so you can sometimes hear noise from the neighboring rooms. However, this wasn’t a major issue for us and didn’t significantly affect our overall experience.

Everything

We loved everything about the hotel: very well preserved and tastefully renovated, great pool, great food (we had both dinner and breakfast here), and excellent service.

We paid extra for one of the “sea view” rooms only to realize that this also meant facing the main street and having to hear very loud music until 2 am. If there’s nothing the hotel can do about the loud music, it would be helpful to include a disclaimer. We would have traded the sea view for better sleep in one of the back rooms if given the choice.

Pool side in perfect

There is no air condition in rooms just one evaporative kooler that just make room more humid

Un hôtel ancien magnifique, avec un charme préservé. L'emplacement est idéal : le centre animé et les restaurants sont accessibles à pied en quelques minutes. Chambres agréables et salle de bain parfaite. Bon point : la piscine est légèrement en retrait, cachée derrière le bâtiment, ce qui la rend très tranquille. Le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse face à la mer vaut à lui seul le séjour.

Pas de climatisation et un seul ventilateur pour deux, ce qui rend les nuits très chaudes et difficiles ; et un choix au petit déjeuner un peu limité.

A truly wonderful stay at Splendid Palace! The hospitality was exceptional, and every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is beautifully decorated with elegant interiors full of charm. The food was delicious, the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing, and everything was spotless and perfectly organized. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. We were especially touched by how kind and caring everyone was towards our young son. We highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to come back!

They make the best scrambled eggs ever! Special mention to Rachida who served everyone impeccably and with a smile. NIce size pool - great views of the sea and 5 minute walk to the centre of town. If you are interested in history and architecture, this elegant hotel is the place for you to stay. Such a refined ambience without being snooty. We would stay there again.

We stayed just at the start of the season and it could be that it gets too noisy. The bar closed at 12.00 but people were still on the terrasse making a noise at 1.30. Best to stay there outside of busy periods if possible.

Otelin tarihi atmosferi, sakinliği ve manzarası gerçekten çok güzeldi. Personel çok ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Büyükada’da huzurlu ve keyifli bir tatil için kesinlikle tavsiye ederiz.

Tarihi bir bina olduğu ve zeminler ahşap olduğu için, üst kattaki odadan gelen ayak sesleri bazen fazla duyuluyordu.

Staff is really helpful and friendly

A beautiful historic hotel, ideally located with a view of the sea. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast.

We arrived on an overcrowded ferry on a Turkish national holiday, which we hadn’t been aware of. Walking uphill from the boat to the hotel wasn’t ideal. It would have been nice if we’d been told about this in advance. On our return trip, the staff helped us, which we really appreciated.

Splendid Palace Hotel’in neden bu kadar özel bir yer olduğunu konaklamam esnasında çok iyi anladım. Hem tarihi dokusunu koruyup hem de yapılan renovasyonla modern konforu yakalaması nadir bulunan bir denge. Büyükada’nın o sakin, zamansız atmosferinin ortasında; yüksek tavanlı odalar, zarif detaylar ve deniz havasıyla birleşince deneyim zaten başlı başına farklı bir seviyeye çıkıyor. Kahvaltının keyifli olması ve çalışanların profesyonelliği de bu deneyimi “iyi bir konaklama”dan çıkarıp gerçekten unutulmaz bir hale getiriyor. Burası sadece kalınacak bir yer değil, aynı zamanda yaşanan bir deneyim. Özellikle İstanbul’dan kısa bir kaçış için harika bir alternatif.

The building itself is dreamy, the pool is like a piece of heaven and the staff is friendly and helpful.

I understand that it's not possible to install air conditioning but I feel like the fans could have been a LOT better and the facility could have warned us that there is a loud bar right next door that will play music until 2 am. The restaurant part of the hotel seated us 30 minutes after our reservation and the food was very expensive for how lacklustre it tasted. Breakfast was mediocre and unorganized.

Das Hotel ist eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, die mit historischem Charme und einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre begeistert – ein Aufenthalt fühlt sich fast wie eine kleine Zeitreise an. Unser Zimmer war schlicht, verfügte jedoch über einen Balkon zur Seite. Zwar hörte man die Motoren der Fähren, dennoch konnten wir ausgezeichnet schlafen. Leider waren wir nur eine Nacht dort, würden beim nächsten Mal aber sehr gerne länger bleiben. Das Frühstück war hervorragend, und der Blick auf das Meer sowie die Stadt schlicht atemberaubend. Der großzügige Pool liegt ruhig und geschützt im hinteren Bereich – ideal zum Entspannen. Auch Café und Bar im Haus sind sehr stilvoll und fügen sich perfekt in das besondere Ambiente ein. Dank eines Rabatts war das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis unschlagbar. Ein Aufenthalt, der nicht nur kulinarisch und atmosphärisch, sondern auch durch die Lage überzeugt – absolut empfehlenswert.

Çok hoş ve şık bir otel,lobby be bar güzel, odada klima yok, tv çalışmıyordu ancak zaten kullanmadık

Kalmış olduğumuz oda yandakı bara doğru bakıyordu. Esımın dogum gunu ıcın gelmıstık ancak muzıklerın asırı fazla olması kaynaklı uykusuz bır gece gecırdık. Ek olarak vantılator odaları serınletmeye asla yetmıyor çok sıcak. Bu kadar nostaljık bır ve pahalı bır otelde umduğumuzu bulamadık açıkçası…

Интерьер отеля потрясающий, как-будто погружаешься во времена первой половины 20-го века. Виды очень красивые. Бассейн рассчитан на количество проживающих, есть свободные места, бар.

При заселении нам сказали, что есть номер той же категории, но с двумя раздельными кроватями, это оказался номер категории стандарт, заказывали представительский люкс, более 10 минут с фото с сайта booking пытались доказать, что у нас в бронировании другой номер, пусть будет одна кровать, но главное категория, наотрез отказывались это принять, доказывая, что наша категория стандарт. Вечером хотели поужинать в ресторане при отеле, попросили забронировать стол на 7 вечера, подошли немного раньше, все столы были пустые. Оказалось, что администратор забыл нам забронировать стол и они не могут нас разместить, принесли извинения. Но мы попросили хотя бы на час-полтора, потому что очень хотим есть, поедим и пойдем, в листе бронирований, который был повернут к нам было много столов на 8 и 8:30 вечера, но девушка начала нас убеждать, что они бронируют не под время, а просто ожидают весь вечер людей во сколько бы они не пришли. На наши доводы, что время написано у нее на листе, и что у нас спрашивали точное время ужина - просто в лицо обманывала. Нас посадили в итоге внутри, за стол даже без скатерти, ее постелили, когда мы попросили об этом. Я была с ребенком, мы были очень голодные, в ином случае пошли бы искать другое место очевидно. В итоге через полтора часа, когда мы закончили ужин, на веранду пришли люди с двух столов только, а вечером, возвращаясь с прогулки, увидели, что четверть столов так и пустует. В номере также невозможная духота, вентиляторы не справляются.

Stylish interiors, lovely pool and excellent location.

Very pleasant historic and charming hotel. Beautiful decor and very nice staff (a big thank you to Rachida). The pool is quiet and relaxing. Great gift shop. The neighborhood is perfect : quiet but lovely and near the ferry dock and the restaurants.

Such a magical place. The hotel is delightful. Beautifully maintained, with gorgeous views, a wonderful ambiance and great service. I would highly recommend as the hotel to stay at while on Buyukada.

Ödenen fiyatla aldığınız hizmet asla uyumlu değil. Lüks otel konseptli olduğunuzu iddia ediyorsanız lüks otelde konaklama hissi vermeniz gerekiyor. Deluxia deniz manzaralı otel rezervasyonu yaptım. Özellikle doğum günü için geldiğimizi belirtmiş olmamıza rağmen ne karşılamada ne oda içinde ne de yemek rezervasyonun da bir şıklık yok. Karşılamada soğuk havlu, oda içinde herhangi bir mini ikram müşteriyi iyi hissettirecek bir jest yok. Havuz başı hizmeti yetersiz. Şezlong için süngerimiz kalmadı cevabı aldık. Ben başka boş şezlongta görüp istedim.Bira istedik 50lik bitti denildi. otel girişinde valizlerimizi alan personel ilgili ve güler yüzlüydü. Evet otel tarihi bina konsepti iç dizaynı konumu manzarası olarak çok güzel. Ancak asla lüks hizmet sunuyoruz denmemeli. Herhangi bir şehir otelinde de bu kadar ilgi görürsünüz zaten. Lüksün tanımı bu değil. Odalar yüksek tavanlı olduğu için çok ferah, ancak otelin yanında gece yarısına kadar yüksek sesle müzik çalan başka bir mekan olduğu için bütün ses oda içinde. Tarihi eser olduğu için klima olmaması çok normal ancak camlar açık olduğu için bütün gece Demet Akalın duymak zorunda kalabilirsiniz.Yemekler güzel ancak serviste de ufak tefek sıkıntılar var. Sürekli bir şey istemek zorunda kalıyorsunuz. (Buz, peçete, küllük sabah kahvaltısında çay,ayakları oynayan masaya destek vb) Bu fiyatları talep ediyorsanız lüks hizmet deneyimini müşteriye hissetirmeniz gerekli.

Merkeze yakın olmasına rağmen konumu ile son derece elit ve sakin bir konum olmasından çok memnun kaldık. Ayrıca tüm personelin güleryüzlü ve herkonuda yardımcı olduğu için tşk ederiz.

Verdikleri oda daracik havasiz klimasiz televizyonsuz. Ayip gercekten boyle bir oda satilamaz yuruyecek mesafe yok

Bence mükemmel bir oteldi. Tekrardan gelinmesi gereken bir otel...

Öncelikle güleryüzlü karşılama için teşekkürler. Otel 1. Sınıf tarihi eser olduğu için klima bulunmuyor ancak odalara en azından lobilerde bulunan vantilatörlerden konabilirdi. Lavaboların camlarına da sineklik takılması iyi olurdu.

Oteli cok beğendik. Çalışanlar güler yüzlü ve samimiydi. Temizlik ve otel düzeni harikaydı. Pipetler bile ince düşünülmüş, otel renginde olması çok hoştu. Bir otel çalışanı olarak otel işletmesini çok beğendim. TEŞEKKÜRLER !

Otelin tarihi dokusu, konumu, mimarisi, havuzu, odaları çok güzel ve detaylı bir şekilde düşünülerek hazırlanmış. Genel deneyimimiz çok güzeldi ancak bazı konularda iyileştirme yapılabilir. Mesela restoran ve cafe bölümü çok şık ancak yemek fiyatı kişi başı 40 EUR/50 EUR bandında ki burası için biraz yüksek bir rakam. Bar fiyatları da aynı fös

Herzamanki gibi mükemmel bir konaklama tecrübesi yaşadık. Karşılamadan uğurlamaya kadar herşey mkemmeldi. Tek tek çalışanların ismini veremeyeceğim ama herbiri ayrı ayrı ilgili ve kibardı. Doğumgünüm için odaya pasta göndermeleri ayrıca bir zerafetti. Odanın manzarasının güzelliğinden bahsetmiyorum bile. Ayrıca otelde çekim var rahatsız oluruz diye odamızı upgrade ettiler.

Hotel's design is exceptional, the beds are comfortable and the area with the pool is cute.

The property next door had a party till 2am and we couldn't sleep because the hotel isn't soundproof. The breakfast was nicely served but disappointingly limited - any Turkish cafe would be better for that price.
