Loved the atmosphere there, especially the fact that it was adults only! It it an amazing hotel, amazing stuff and the most beautiful pool I have been to. Also the location was superb!

Von Check in bis Check out - das Personal war erste Klasse! Wir waren eine Woche dort und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Das Frühstück ist sehr vielseitig und abwechslungsreich, die Anlage sehr gepflegt und einfach wunderschön.

Ich hatte eine Massage die nicht sehr gut war, dafür sehr teuer. Nach Gespräch mit der Rezeption wurde diese aber von der Rechnung genommen. Also auch hier: toller Service!

Staff was very nice and sweet. Always smiling. Pool and access to the private beach was superb.

The reason I didn't give 10 was the towels. They were run down. They should probably change all of them to new ones, or not overuse them.

5-star experience! Relaxing poolside, great views. clean rooms, no mosquitoes, plenty of food and drinks to access, very attentive staff who speak great English for communication.

Amazing place

Pool, beach, gym, co-working space, spa, restaurant and bar were all immaculately maintained. It has an incredibly relaxed atmosphere but behind that is attentive staff and finely considered service that make it run effortlessly.

I don’t know where to start! WOW!! Everything was exceptional! Starting with the amazing staff- there wasn’t even one staff member who wasn’t extremely nice! Everywhere you go they greet you, and everyone is so willing to help with everything. Continuing with the hotel itself - the gym is open 24/7, the main pool is beautiful, and of course, our amazing room. Everything was clean and well maintained. Also, the breakfast is one of the bests I’ve ever encountered! Huge variety, everything’s fresh, and the coconuts

The staff was so welcoming and nice. We had a room with a private pool.... just perfectly calm as we wanted.

The service from the entire staff, from beginning to end, was amazing.

Cons: There is no air conditioning in the dining room. The bed has a very large wooden frame, and we kept bumping our legs into it. This is especially inconvenient for older guests and could be improved. Despite these points, the place is absolutely beautiful.

Very disappointing and far from authentic. We felt more like walking wallets than valued guests. Impossible to get a late check-out despite many rooms being available, the restaurant prices are excessive, and the spa massages were poor quality while costing up to five times more than those in the street. Very disappointing value for money.

Great experience. Excellent attentive staff with incredible attention to detail. Pool was lovely, with swim up bar, which stay open till late. Nice beach and good location for Fisherman’s village and night market. Free shuttle bus is a bonus.

We experienced poor service one evening at the restaurant, but staff were very apologetic and handled the situation well in the end.

Solstolene er lidt hårde og har nogle ukomfortable indstillings niveauer. De fungerer, men her var der plads til forbedring. - Der er for få solstole til antallet af gæster, når det er prime time.

Allt var verkligen underbart, från bemötandet när vi kom tills dagen vi checkade ut. Jag har aldrig bott på ett hotell med så engagerad och serviceinriktad personal. De såg verkligen varje hotellgäst och mötte en alltid med ett leende på läpparna. Man kan även hyra moped via hotellet, vilket var väldigt smidigt. En stor eloge till hela personalen, deras fantastiska bemötande gjorde hela vistelsen extra minnesvärd och fick oss att känna oss väldigt välkomna och omhändertagna.

Stranden var tyvärr ganska stenig och vi skar oss flera gånger på fötterna. Frukosten var helt okej, men jag hade gärna sett större utbud av t.ex frukt och pålägg. Läget är också lite avsides om man inte har moped eller bil, och det finns inte jättemycket i närområdet.

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with warm smiles, welcome drinks and beautiful flower necklaces. We arrived early, and the wonderful staff worked hard to get us into our room as soon as possible. In the meantime, we were able to enjoy all the incredible amenities. The rooms were stunning, the food was made with so much love, and the whole place is truly pure paradise. The perfect place to switch off, relax and feel completely looked after. We absolutely loved it and didn’t want to leave. Five stars from us.

Everything and everyone was perfect, from the desk to the restaurant waiters and the room cleaning staff...a special thanks to JJ at the desk, who helped me a lot organizung a photo shooting with my wife for our honeymoon, and to the resort who allowed to use all their facilities...it was all perfect thanks guys you're the best 🙏☺️

Rien tout était parfait

This Adult Only resort was incredible. Great pool, facing beautiful and peaceful Maenam Beach. Pool has a swim up bar who has the most attentive staff led by the fabulous Tikki who takes the time to get to know each customer. The beach is long, sandy and very pretty, lined with palm trees and discreet resorts - added bonus that it doesn't have the traders walking up and down the beach like Chaweng so very peaceful. Breakfast was excellent with all the expected choices and every seat has views of the beautiful beach and neighboring islands. The hotel restaurant had an equally exceptional lunch and dinner menu with some of the best food we ate in Thailand. Shout out to Fip, a very happy and charismatic staff member who made the effort to touch base with each guest every day. There were also great complimentary activities such as pizza making, thai cooking classes, rum tasting and acqua aerobics which was so much fun. Our room had a spectacular view of the sea and islands and was well appointed and spotless. The staff really couldn't do enough for you and made our stay very memorable and one of the best stays we have ever had.

The location is close to a few other bars and restaurants on the beach but otherwise its very quiet in Maenam, which we preferred over the hectice scene of Chaweng Beach. The resort does have a shuttle bus at night to head into the vibrant Fishermans Village where you can access retail and great restaurants and bars. Its also a short walk to the main road where you can find a great cafe called Sweet and Salty and a 7 Eleven. Taxis are moderately priced and you are close to many of the islands major attractions.

המלון מהמם, והבריכה ענקית ומפנקת עם בר בתוכה, הצוות מקסים ומאוד שירותי ובכללי כל המתקנים המשותפים של המלון ברמה גבוהה מאוד. עשינו גם סדנת פיצה כחלק מהסדנאות שהמלון מציע עם פרנק ומוי והם היו מקסימים

ביחס לרמה של המלון, החדר היה קצת מיושן עם מקלחת קטנה שאי אפשר לסגור עד הסוף ואז כל המים יוצאים (הצוות היה מקסים ועזר לנו ככל שהוא יכל) + חדר עם בריכה מיותר כי היא קטנה ומוצלת בכל שעות היום אז היא קרה מדי, ובכל מקרה הבריכה של המלון מפנקת מספיק

Nous avons absolument tout aimé dans cet hôtel. D’abord, il règne une grande tranquillité, car c’est un hôtel réservé aux adultes, donc beaucoup moins de bruit et de nuisances. Ensuite, notre villa était magnifique, située juste en face de la plage. L’agencement était vraiment superbe. Le personnel était également aux petits soins, toujours attentionné. Rien à dire : tout était parfait. Ce séjour a été une véritable détente. Nous y reviendrons avec un grand plaisir.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful resort and quickly discovered that the biggest problem with the place is that it makes you completely useless at normal life. The resort was gorgeous, relaxing and exactly what you hope for when coming to Thailand. But the real stars were the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful, and somehow always appeared exactly when you needed something. After a few days of being looked after this well, we started wondering whether returning home and looking after ourselves was really necessary. The whole experience was just easy – beautiful surroundings, fantastic service, plenty of smiles and that wonderful Thai hospitality that makes you feel at home while simultaneously reminding you that your actual home doesn't have a tropical resort attached to it. We arrived as reasonably independent adults and left thoroughly spoiled, relaxed and slightly concerned about how we're supposed to adjust to normal life again. Would we come back? Absolutely. Would we recommend it? Definitely. Did we seriously consider just refusing to check out? Also yes. Thank you to the entire team for an amazing stay and for setting the bar far too high for our next holiday!

Unfortunately overpriced wellness facilities at the resort but that shouldn’t be a problem as there are plenty of other options around.

The quietness - no kids, the most comfortable bed with an amazing view of the sea from our beach front villa. Amazing food, service and helpful staff. The spa is also a must with the most relaxed atmosphere and treatments.

Gastvrij en onverwachte ontvangst met geurige bloemenketting en welkomstdrankje met cocosnootwater en rum! Prachtig zwembad met uitzicht over de zee en voorzien van leuke zitjes. Mooie, ruime kamer. Het ontbijt was werkelijk formidabel; ontzettend uitgebreid en gevarieerd. We hadden spijt dat we hier maar 1 nacht hadden geboekt.

We stayed at the Explorar resort for a week and were very happy with our choice. So beautiful and relaxing, great pool, lovely view, no kids! The breakfast was phenomenal and the restaurant Odyssey also served some delicious food throughout the day, thanks Win for your hospitality. The front desk team (Olaf, Joy, Benz, JJ and Kate to name but a few) really helped make our stay a special one, thank you so much for looking after us. Also special mention for their incredible spa, Exhale, where we experienced some very relaxing massages by Nid and Pu, khop khun krub!

Alles war Top! Personal äußerst freundlich und zudem wollten wir Fußball schauen und das nette Personal hat mit uns versucht den Sender zu finden und hat auch geklappt! Kann ich nur empfehlen

Nos ha encantado todo, desde que nos recibieran con flores y agua de coco, hasta que nos dejaran una habitación para cambiarnos después de disfrutar de la piscina el último día. La atención es continua, las habitaciones cómodas, la piscina espectacular, la comida tanto en el desayuno como a la carta muy buena y el servicio te lo pone muy fácil. Además hay un acceso a la playa junto a la piscina y muy cerca varias opciones para masajes en plena playa y otros restaurantes para comer o tomar algo. Después de darle muchas vueltas estamos muy contentos con la elección

En nuestra habitación al menos la zona del baño era algo pequeña (un solo hueco de lavabo). En cuanto a las experiencias de cena, cogimos una de las culturas y nos decepcionó un poco la calidad de la comida (preparada previamente) frente a la del desayuno o a la carta que es excelente, no lo recomendamos.

לקחנו חדר עם בריכה, היה ממש טוב, כשומרי כשרות דאגו חנונבארוחת בוקר לפירות וירקות בכלים חד פעמי.

המקלחת בחדר ענקית וכוללת שתי ראשי דוש פינוק למרבה הצער שתייהם היו סתומים וטפטפו טיפות בלבד.

Nowoczesny obiekt, świetne śniadania, super personel, zajęcia w hotelu, duży basen, pokój standardowy z widokiem na morze, możliwość spacerów piękną plażą.

Plaża bezpośrednio przy hotelu ma dużo kamieni, ale kawałek w lewo zaczyna się super plaża z palmami. Lokalizacja jest daleko od terenów stricte spacerowych jak fisherman's village ale dowozi z hotelu bus, lub można wziąć taksówkę. Nam trafił się mały balkon ale większość pokoi ma balkon normalnych rozmiarów.

Staff are awesome - especially Fip, and Harry at the pool bar 24hr co-working space which had a huge TV showing the World Cup! Lots of sunbed options by the pool Pool is huge, perfect temperature and the floating bean bags are very nice Mae Nam beach (beds available here too) at the bottom of the stairs by the pool / bar Reasonably priced food and drinks for such a nice hotel, and a great selection to choose from Lots to do such as pizza making, rum tasting, happy hour, yoga - knowledgable staff 24hr gym is excellent compared to what you often get at a hotel Rooms are modern, clean and spacious

The beach was clean in comparison to the Bo Phut one. A great place to relax. The Odyssey restaurant was excellent, morning, day, and night! The pool was simple but great for spending time.

Echt een heerlijk hotel, wat hebben we hier genoten! Het personeel is fantastisch, de kamer was heerlijk, het ontbijt was ook erg luxe. Daarnaast biedt het hotel allemaal leuke gratis activiteiten aan (muay thai training, yoga, pizzaworkshop, cocktailworkshop, ga zo maar door). Met een grab scooter was je met 5 minuten bij Fisherman's Village night market, ook erg leuk om naartoe te gaan. Heel fijn verblijf gehad en ik zou zo weer teruggaan!

Adults only so very peaceful around the pool. The staff are fantastic, very friendly and attentive, they really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms are minimalist but very comfortable, especially the bed which had great quality bedding and pillows. The breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in any hotel! Lunch and dinners are also delicious and make sure to sign up for the pizza making class. They have happy hour at the pool bar with fantastic cocktails. There’s also a co-working space where we were able to watch the World Cup games. Everything was perfect, would 100% recommend the Explorer. The pool area is beautiful and there’s always free sun loungers or daybeds available, you never have to panic that they’ll fill up. We’re looking forward ti returning in the future!

Vi una cucaracha en la cocina del bufet. Estando el hotel y el restaurante prácticamente en la playa, no le di más importancia y la limpieza y cuidado con los alimentos era excelente.

We stayed in Explorar for 7 nights and had a lovely stay. The room was exactly like the pictures, although they do not show you the balcony view (perhaps on purpose). I would recommend people get the sea-view room, and not our deluxe double with balcony, as our main view was just trees and a bit of the ocean. We personally liked the location of the hotel, close to a cafe (would recommend Sweet and Salty) and 7-Eleven for any late-night snacks, but if you want a more lively atmosphere surrounding the hotel, maybe look into Bophut. Our room didn't come with breakfast included, but you can always opt in on the day for 500 baht. They have a nice spread with many options (eggs, French toast, etc.) and great service. The staff was so kind and accommodated our every wish, even adding birthday decorations and a cake for my birthday. Definitely recommend going to the spa, as we got a 60-minute massage + 30-minute facial and a great experience for a reasonable price (in my opinion). The highlight of the property definitely has to be the pool; with it being open till 11 pm, you can go for a late-night swim and have a cocktail, as the bar is also usually open.

I wish the room service were open 24/7 or at least later than 9:30 (which is also when the restaurant closes); that would have definitely elevated the stay. Also, the a/c is slightly strange, as once the room reaches the set temperature, it switches off, then makes this loud noise to turn on again (not such a big deal, but definitely can be improved). Lastly, after about the 4th night, the hot water in the shower suddenly switches to being cold for a few seconds, then scorching hot, which we definitely thought was room for improvement.

כשהגענו למלון רוב השיעורים כבר היו מלאים, ובסופש לא היה יותר מידי אופציות. הספקנו להירשם לסדנת פיצה שהיתה חמודה!

Tout était bien, le personnel était très accueillant et aimable, la chambre était super propre et le lit très confortable.

Very welcoming & friendly staff, keen to make your stay in this beautiful resort memorable:) Comfortable villas amidst beautiful tropical gardens & we loved the beach front views of the serene, emerald waters. The pool was so lovely to relax in with plenty of day beds!

Sehr schöne Zimmer und Poolbereich. Tolles Frühstück und Abendbuffet.

Man hatte zu allen Ort auf der Insel recht lange Wege. Die kostenfreien Angebote der Aktivitäten waren schon eher abgespeckte Varianten.

- Grosse Anlage, superschöner Pool und auch die Poolvillas sind wunderschön. - Vielseitiges Frühstücksangebot - Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal - sehr sauber

- Keine Ablageflächen für Koffer und eher kleine Zimmer. Die Angabe von 100qm2 ist inklusive Pool. - Beim Frühstück wartet man zwischen 5-15 Minuten für Kaffe und Eierspeisen, was etwas nervig war. Da stimmt irgendetwas in der Arbeitsorganisation nicht :)

Emplacement magnifique, et tout le personnel est vraiment très accueillant. Ils ont rendu mon deuxième séjour parfait.

Il manquerait peut-être quelques options végétariennes au restaurant. Notamment pour les plats locaux.

Das Hotel ist sehr modern und super ausgestattet. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und das Frühstück ist gut. Der Pool ist schön groß.

Leider keinen Strand, man muss einen kleinen Umweg in Kauf nehmen, um diesen zu erreichen. Die Laufbänder im Gym sind in die Jahre gekommen. Die Liegen am Strand liegen leider etwas dicht beieinander.

The hotel itself was amazing, the staff, the facilities and the breakfast was exceptional and was the only place to have almond milk during our trip!

The location was a bit further away from markets etc, we previously stayed at fisherman's village which we preferred so everything was walking distance but here you need bikes to get to and from places.

Absolutely loved our stay here!! 10/10!! The staff were amazing and super kind. The pool was top notch and the happy hour is a great bonus. The room was clean and had everything we needed including a mini bar (free of charge for the first round!). The hotel also offered complimentary activities such as Muay Thai which we enjoyed so much. As well as a pizza making class and a cocktail making class!! Everything really was way beyond our expectations. Highly recommend ❤️
