Avoid this resort! Rooms are nothing like the photos, very worn, not clean and literally falling apart. Only bright side is the Hotel manager is very nice and the butlers are very considerate. Cleaning staff and cleaning supervisor need to be held accountable for their lack of efficiency. They are not cleaning the rooms and then when you complain they act like they can’t see the condition of the room. The laundry staff charged us $208 dollars for laundry that they did not wash. When we got our clothes back it was in the same condition as we gave it to them. I would recommend to stay somewhere else and come to visit this property. Save your self the headache and stress. I came here for my birthday and had a horrible team from the moment I checked into my room.

The food options were amazing, and the staff was very friendly and inviting. The room service was 24/7 which we absolutely loved. I love that we were able to visit the sister hotels and there were activities that you could partake in for free. The club was a good vibe and AGAIN, the food was amazing!!

I was excited for the personal hot tub however, it barely worked, and it was not as clean. We also had to call for them to clean the room, and it took 3 calls for clean towels and washcloths.

A Truly Unforgettable Stay! From start to finish, our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. The resort is perfectly located, with stunning views and easy access to local attractions. The Jamaican food was out of this world — every bite was full of flavor and authenticity. I want to give huge shoutout to Bellboy Stephen, who went above and beyond to make sure we were always having a great time. His positive energy and dance moves were the highlight of the night. Bartender Keino at the Altitude Rooftop Bar, kept the good vibes flowing with perfectly mixed drinks and a welcoming attitude. We also had the pleasure of chatting with lifeguard Audley (Tony), whose stories about Jamaican culture and his younger days gave us a deeper appreciation for the island. But most of all, I want to recognize Radalfi and Demar, part of the hotel management team, for truly going the extra mile. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect and that we were having the best time of our lives. Their attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care made us feel like family, not just guests. In fact, because of the incredible staff, we ended up extending our stay by an extra day — we simply didn’t want to leave! We left with full hearts, big smiles, and unforgettable memories. Highly recommend this resort — we’ll definitely be back!

We had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Several situations made us feel unwelcome staff did not serve us properly and their attitude toward us was unfriendly. Unfortunately, we also felt there were elements of discrimination involved. As visitors from Poland, we did not feel respected or treated equally. I cannot recommend this place based on our experience

I love the hospitality from the staff. There was nothing that we needed and were not able to get quickly. Also like the variety, the fact that you are able to go to the other two resorts that are across the street from breathless, was pretty cool. The hotel was clean and the grounds were kept. Lots of plants and vegetation make the resort a beautiful landscape.

The only complaint that I really have about the resort is the alcoholic beverages. When you pay for an all-inclusive resort, you would expect to have alcoholic beverages that were top shelf. The drinks were very much watered down. You would need about six drinks before you even felt the drink. That may have messed up a lot of people's experience. It definitely affected the fun in mine.

This was my first time visiting Breathless, and it was simply amazing! The staff was very accommodating, very professional, the selection of food was pretty good, although we never did find oxtails. The hotel itself was beautiful outside and inside, however the room did have a few quirks. For example, the fridge was not working when we first got there, but they did send someone up to switch it out. Also, they cleaned daily, which was cool and the amenities such as the pool, the gym, the beach and coffee bar were top tier! Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to check out the rooftop restaurant because it was always booked, but the restaurant on the main level always had a variety buffet with fresh vegetables and fruits and native cuisine. We loved, our stay in Jamaica at breathless and we will definitely be back. Maybe next time we’ll try Secrets☺️

Found someone manicured nailed in the bed under the sheets… lacking to no in room cleaning. Secrets entertainment made up for the no entertainment in Breathless property. Mosquito’s are crazy here. Food service great. Unkn If I would return.

Having access to the secrets resorts

The bugs in our room, housekeeping didn’t clean our room for 3 days even after complaining! Ordered room service and our trays didn’t get picked up for 3 days, told our butler who told us it was being done now, got back to the room around dinner time and it still wasn’t done. Day 5 is when things finally were getting done. Extremely disappointed on the amount of money spent on this resort for our 10 year anniversary to be completely disappointed. We absolutely loved being in Jamaica and do plan to go back but definitely staying elsewhere!!!!

Everyone had the best time here for my 30th birthday. Great quality food and staff that went above and beyond to make our vacation special. Having access to Secrets took everything up a notch. There were minor issues with the room but the staff made sure they were addressed as soon as possible. I'll definitely be back!

My experience at Breathless Montego Bay was extremely disappointing. Both rooms I was placed in reeked of mold. When I reported the issue, the staff showed no sense of urgency or concern. I wasted an entire day trying to get relocated, only to end up moving to a completely different resort because the problem persisted. If you’re looking for a quiet, clean, and truly luxurious experience, this is not the place. The lack of responsiveness and the condition of the rooms were completely unacceptable for a resort that markets itself as upscale.

The lobby and outdoor areas were definitely the highlights of the property. The design and layout were modern and visually appealing, and the poolside setup created a nice atmosphere for relaxing and socializing. The outdoor spaces, including the rooftop and common areas, were well-maintained and offered great views and vibes.

Unfortunately, the rooms were nothing like the photos online. Ours had visible mold, worn-out furniture with cigarette burn marks, and overall felt unclean. When we arrived, we lost an entire day because there were no rooms available…..even though we had a reservation. After waiting for hours, the room they finally gave us smelled like sewage and was completely unacceptable. We had to wait another 4 hours to be moved again, which was incredibly frustrating. The service was also very slow and unresponsive. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, and we will absolutely not be returning.

the resort is nice, my room was aged even though the property opened in 2017. the room smelled like sea and humid even with the ac on and terrace door closed. the resort is pretty boring, for the money its not as advertised. Breathless needs more adult activities and a night life.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with a recent stay at your Breathless Resort. This trip, which cost us over $7,500, was meant to be a special celebration for my birthday, but it was unfortunately marked by numerous service failures and lack of support from resort staff and partners. Key Issues: Room Issues: Upon arrival, the lights and television in our room were not working properly. These issues persisted for the entire stay, which greatly affected our comfort and experience. Birthday Oversight: Despite noting that this trip was for a birthday celebration, there were no birthday amenities or recognition provided during our stay. This was a huge disappointment, especially given the standard expected from a Hyatt resort. Excursion Failure (Chukka): I had paid in full and reserved an excursion through Chukka the day before the activity. We followed instructions, woke up early, and were ready at 8:00 AM as scheduled. However, the driver did not pick us up. When we followed up, we were told the driver would not be coming back. Despite speaking with Fabian, the manager at Chukka, and Nikisha, no accommodation or viable alternative was provided. We were asked to wait until the next day, only to be told the bookings were full. I have previously stayed at your resorts and had a great experience, which makes this situation even more disheartening. There was a clear lack of communication, accountability, and customer service throughout our stay. Request: Given the amount spent and the extremely poor experience, I am requesting: A formal apology, A partial refund or compensation for the inconvenience and service failures, and Clarification on how such issues will be addressed to prevent this from happening to future guests. This property did not meet my expectations. The pictures used on the website are outdated and not a true representation of the property. The room was not cleaned properly upon check in and the sheets were dirty. There was rust throughout the room and the property in general was not up to date. I ended up cancelling my stay after checking in.

Breakfast was truly the only thing I can really say I enjoyed, aside from the fact that they didn't have natural juice. All their juice was artificial flavor, which was very disappointing considering the price I paid.

The level of service at this place did not even meet that of a 3-star hotel. During check-in, the so-called manager named Romario wanted to involve me in some fraudulent activities, asking me to pay him $150 in cash, for reasons I couldn't understand. He kept saying, "You see, I'm taking care of you, so you have to take care of me." What does that even mean? Once I checked in, this man came to my room trying to bribe me for more money. I gave him $20, which I regret now. Even my wife was very confused. If I'm paying $3,000 USD for 4 nights, I expect a high level of professionalism. Disgusting. They supposedly have a Hibachi dinner place, but NO ONE can ever get a reservation; they're always booked. I checked in on Sunday, and they didn't have an available spot until Friday. They claim to offer "free alcohol," but I guarantee it's all cheap, low-quality liquor—$10 bottles of vodka and rum. This place is not worth half of what it costs. Total disappointment.

Went for our honeymoon and it was amazing , the staff were very friendly and professional. The food was good and the resort was clean! Def recommend the rooftop bar if you are doing the xhale club, also the butler we had (Travis) top tier service ! He was great! Overall the resort is beautiful, you can also visit the secrets side as well!

Beautiful stay, the staff was amazing the food was great my wife & I loved it ! And the room was beautiful as well as room service til late midnight! Definitely would recommend club 2727 for the younger crowd if you’re looking for a party night!

Breathless was amazing. Our swim up room was mind blowing and our butlers Roberto & Okiene were very attentive.

Absolutely loved this resort! It was very relaxing during the day but definitely able to party at night. But if you wanted to have quiet the parties were not close to the rooms so it was quiet ! The rooms were beautiful!
