The Beach area was limited as not all the area belongs to hotel. Therefore food was not served on the beach. In addition the AC was not working in the inside bar and the shower in the room did not work properly due to calcium build up.

Our stay was overall great, and anything lower than an 8 would not feel fair. The water is absolutely pristine, the beaches are immaculate, and we really loved how quiet, peaceful, and exclusive the property felt. We also truly appreciated the care and attention from the entertainment staff, the S café baristas, and the team working at the beach. Their friendliness and service made our stay very enjoyable. That said, the reason we are not giving a higher rating comes down to a few disappointments. We would still recommend the property and would happily return, but we hope that in the future, special occasions and guest requests receive a little more attention.

We mentioned several times that we were celebrating our anniversary during this trip, but unfortunately, that information seemed to be completely disregarded. We then specifically asked the concierge if they could at least add a note to our dinner reservation on our last night, but unfortunately nothing was done on that occasion either. This was particularly disappointing because we noticed that guests celebrating birthdays and other special occasions were being acknowledged by the staff. We were not expecting anything extravagant, but even a small acknowledgment would have meant a lot to us. We also asked whether it might be possible to move to a more central room. We were left waiting for over 20 minutes, only to eventually be told that there was no availability. We found this disappointing as well, especially since we were staying for five nights. Even if nothing was available on the first night, we would have appreciated being considered for a room change later during our stay if something became available. Overall, it was a little bittersweet. The natural beauty, tranquility, pristine water, immaculate beaches, and wonderful staff in many areas made this a lovely stay. However, the lack of attention to our anniversary and the handling of our room request took away from what could otherwise have been an exceptional experience.

The staff was absolutely fantastic!!! The food in the reserved restaurants was excellent. The food in general was very very good. The room was nice and it was great that it was a two minute walk to the beach. Plus, they had lounge chairs and umbrellas along w/service. Excellent!

The details in the room could have been better. The door didn't latch well and the toilet would run occasionally. The check-in could also have been better w/the room being ready since we arrived after 3pm.

The main swimming pool really wasn’t clean. Everything outside was v v clean but when I swam multiple times a day (v hot!) - it always had hair, dead bugs and grime. Always felt I had to shower after going in the pool. Minor annoyance, otherwise great hotel and experience.

Central entrance lobby was beautifully conceived. Really well proportioned room and fantastically spacious bathroom area. The view over the pool. Seating around the pool. Excellent food in the Marketplace restaurant and the Rocksteady seafood restaurant. We also visited the spa and the gym - lovely. Quick and easy to get to from the airport after a long flight. Friendly and welcoming staff.

This lovely property is right on a fabulous beach and, also, very close to the airport. There is beautiful artwork throughout by Jamaicans, making you feel very close to the cultural spirit of this country during your stay. The food was delicious and the service impeccable. And on every evening, we were entertained by delightful entertainers. I couldn’t have asked for anything more from my experience at the S Hotel.

My wife and I stayed at S Hotel Montego Bay for a birthday vacation, and it exceeded every expectation. This was, without question, one of the best vacations we've ever taken. From the moment we arrived, everything was first class. As a Hilton Diamond member, we were pleasantly surprised with and upgrade from our original room to a beautiful ocean-view room with a balcony. Waking up to that view every morning made an already amazing trip even better. The hotel itself is stunning. It's smaller than many all-inclusive resorts, but that's exactly what we loved about it. it never felt crowded, and the atmosphere was relaxed, upscale, and geared toward adults looking to unwind. Whether people were enjoying cocktails by the pool, signing karaoke, or simply relaxing, the vibe was fun without ever feeling chaotic. The food and drinks were outstanding. Every meal, from breakfast to dinner, was excellent, with plenty of variety and quality. The all-inclusive beverages were top-notch, and the service was consistently friendly and attentive. One thing that really stood out was the cleanliness. The staff was constantly cleaning the property, and everything looked immaculate throughout our stay. You could tell the take great pride in maintaining the hotel. Transportation to and from the airport was seamless, making the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. Even the minor travel hiccups we encountered outside the hotel didn't take away from what turned out to be an incredible vacation. If you're looking for a luxury all-inclusive resort with exceptional service, beautiful views, amazing food, and more intimate atmosphere, I can't recommend S Hotel Montego Bay enough. My wife and I are already talking about coming back.

The best part of the hotel for me was the food. Everything was perfectly made. I didn’t miss a meal. The staff at the bar is also top tier. They communicate well and make you feel the bar experience. They switch their accent to suit anyone. The rooms are very spacious. A wonderful expertise I had.

I had the opportunity to visit S Hotel Resort For my Sisters 16th birthday the experience was awesome we were both surprised when their entertainment team announced her name and wish her a happy birthday they also invited everyone to sing for her it was a very memorable moment to top it off Brim went for a slice of birthday cake for her... afterwards we got a property tour from Deandre he was so patient while we stop to take pictures he took us to the sky pool it was breath taken once our tour was over we made our way to the Bar Where we met Rohan The Martini specialist he made some great tasting Martini my overall experience was grate we are definitely going back

Pros:Great food, great staff, great location; clean room, comfortable bed and pillows. well kept hotel grounds. Cons: hotel is advertised as adults only but a few children were there; only 1 main pool and 1 roof top small pool; a bit difficult to adjust the air conditioner settings, had to call maintenance to reset it. Overall, highly recommended.

Room smelled of mildew. Breakfast options for vegan was minimal. Beach was gorgeous.

A truly lovely hotel, wonderful staff who are all so friendly. The rooms are immaculately clean as is the rest of the hotel. The food in all of the restaurants was excellent especially the main buffet one. The pool area is exceptional but can get very hot , for some light relief get a sun bed on the beach, they are really comfortable and you get that lovely sea breeze. The Sky pool bar is wonderful and you are served a glass of bubbly watching the sunset and listening to an exceptional saxophonist. The Jamaican people are hard working and are so welcoming, so spoil yourself with a stay at this beautiful hotel, you won’t regret it.

Such a great experience at this hotel. They have everything you could want including many restaurants and 4 different types of swimming experience (ocean, main pool, rooftop pool and spa pool.) The soa experience was great. I want to thank Monifah in particular, and the whole staff of the hotel really.

Went down to Montego Bay to celebrate a friend's birthday and stayed at S Hotel solid choice. Good vibes from check-in to check-out. The atmosphere is sleek and modern but still relaxed boutique feel. Rooms were clean, well put together, decor's got a nice contemporary edge to it without losing that island feel. Everything was spotless, no complaints there. Food was a highlight honestly. Every meal hit good flavor, well presented, no notes. Our stay at S Hotel Montego Bay was fantastic. We were there is two couples and stayed for five nights. The food is excellent for every meal. There are three restaurants on the property along with a buffet for dinner. The café was excellent along with the breakfast and lunch buffet restaurant as well. Everyone was very kind and the property was beautiful. And it’s right in front of one of the best beaches in Jamaica where you could snorkel and see all kinds of fish, not too far from the shore. Also, our cab driver who was part of the hotel is fantastic. He took us out on excursions at great prices. He was incredibly reliable and very kind, safe and an excellent driver. He accommodated all of our needs. We highly recommend him as a taxi driver. His name is Romaine - 876-433-0359. You can WhatsApp him and he responds right away. All the staff at the hotel were very kind and supportive. And shout out to Rashai for all her enthusiasm, care and great water aerobics classes!!!

If you are looking for a resort catering to relaxation, convenience, and excellent food this is the place for you. It is more for people in their mid 30s and up. I was not looking to party and have crazy late nights. This was a perfect anniversary trip! The beaches were clean with no seaweed or extensive amounts of rocks. I definitely would recommend and would come back

It was a wonderful experience at the s hotel with my friends as we met some excellent people such as the front desk agent trisania she was so polite and welcoming she vibed with us and ensured that we had a great time we then furthered into meeting the excellent entertainment manger Andre who gave us a tour of the property and gave us a full Low down of the 120 rooms available along with the different floor and each statue of a person who played a part in doing something outstanding for Jamaica ,then different learnt about the different restaurants ,the spa ,the bars and the coffee shops the different pool areas etc after the tour we then went for dinner at the buffet in which it was a night of Jamaican cusine were were greeted by the lovely Shaniel who was our waitress for the night she had excellent customer services as well as she was attentive she kept refilling our glasses and ensured that we were okay ,we then head on to dinner where we had the delicious escovitch fish,jerk pork and salt fish friters that was 10/10 not to mention the Rasta pasta which was seasonsed to perfection a chefs kiss during a all that we met another outstanding waiter Mr oraine who brought us drinks of his choice which was very amazing and tasty after having our main course we furthered into our desserts where we had fruit cake,gizzards and coconut custards which was all delicious we then ended our night at the bar with the best bartender Mr Patrick who entertained us keep our shots going while vibing to the lovely band that was playing and kept a smile on our faces if it’s 1 rule we’ll always remember blame the rum not the bartender a big shout out the s hotel staffs we had a blast❤️

S Hotel hands down takes the cake for customer service in Mobay. All the staff are friendly, kind and go above and beyond to assist and anticipate the guests needs. To name a few: Demara (AM buffet), Andre (Management/Entertainment), Harold, Deandre (Front), Cordell, Rohan, Raheem, Joel (Bartenders). My bestfriend recommended this hotel because she had a great experience before and brought me—i’ll definitely be back and bringing others! Atmosphere - quaint, very clean, picturesque & scheduled entertainment and events daily. VERY CLEAN. Food - great compared to “typical” resort food. Travel - literally a 7 minute drive from the airport. and on Hipstrip (which is very walkable)

WOW what a hotel & holiday! Hotel is very authentic & cultural to Jamaica which is great, it’s very aesthetic. The staff honestly are amazing & very accommodating! The food is delicious & always something to choose from. The coffee shop is a great addition as it’s open to to yourself 24hrs!! The Jamaican à la carte was my favourite & the view at sunset is breath taking! Location is very central to Montego Bay strip with Starbucks & Margaritaville. Beach is stunning & the sea is divine! Would highly recommend this hotel Side note- if you book through Virgin uk holidays be aware the room doesn’t come with a balcony so is a mega let down. The hotel staff were amazing (Reception & Duty Manager) as they did upgrade us for the last few days of our holiday which was a game changer & finished the holiday on a high!

As you enter S hotel you can feel the relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from all front line staff, with their genuine smiles. We knew we were in for a treat and we were not disappointed! Our Junior suite with ocean view was SO gorgeous that we didn't want to leave! Can't wait to come back here. The S hotel could be S for Superb or S for Special. Every little touch was special, such as the water bottles in the fridge that are a keepsake.

Wow where do I even begin. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, clean and well kept. The staff are AMAZING, respectful and attentive! Though its a boutique hotel and not a big resort, we actually liked how intimate it was. The restaurants are soo good, the food, the drinks, the vibes, literally no complaints. My girlfriend and I enjoyed our entire stay. Being a lesbian couple, we felt safe, catered to and cared for. Prime location as its right off the beach, literally not even a minute to get down to the beach. They provide chairs and umbrellas and since it was all inclusive, the drinks being served on the beach added another layer. We selected a King Suite with an ocean view and the room was the perfect size, clean and the air conditioner worked perfectly which is important when staying in Jamaica. During the day, they had fun activities like Karoke, Vollyball in the Pool, Wine Tasting on the Sky Deck and a DJ. And dont worry, the sounds dont carry over into you room. They also have themed nights and fun activities at night. The concierge made sure we did the fun activities that was best suited for us and hired a personal driver to take us around. Honestly for the price we paid, this hotel was well worth it and anytime I go to Montego bay, I will be sure to ALWAYS stay here!

Based on my recommendation my Canadian family and I met at the S to relax for a few days and again they did not disappoint. Each time I visit this hotel the experience is different, customer service, food, ambiance, entertainment. Interaction with staff makes you want to go back. It is an excellent place to stay. My Canadian family has already book their stay for December. Well done S will be back soon.

We stayed at S Hotel in Montego Bay this May and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms were big and comfortable, and the entire property was so clean and well maintained. The beach was easily the nicest beach we’ve ever been on, crystal clear water, soft sand, and such a relaxing atmosphere. The pool area was also incredible, with beautiful lounge beds and a layout that made it feel luxurious without ever feeling crowded. Great drink service at the beach and pool as well! The food and drinks were outstanding all week, the buffet had a great selection and every restaurant we tried was excellent. What really made the trip special though was the staff. Marlon was awesome, he was always checking in and making sure we had everything we needed! So accommodating and friendly. Everyone we interacted with was just so friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The bartenders especially Denroy and Orel were amazing and made everything so fun! All the staff really went the extra mile to make sure we had a great trip! We truly couldn’t say enough good things about this hotel. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you to everyone at S Hotel for such a memorable trip!

The beach is amazing, the hotel is beautiful and the food is really good from breakfast to dinner !

The beach is beautiful but they close at 5/6 pm even though the sun doesn’t set until 6.30 so you cannot properly enjoy the beach until the sun is out. The Sun loungers and beach towels are very old and worn and not very comfortable. The hotel is lovely but does need some refurbishment and the outdoor pool isn’t particularly clean or well kept. They also have rules regarding dress codes in the restaurants and lobby however none of the guests followed this and the staff did not reinforce it which is a bit of a shame as it didn’t give luxury environment with how some people presented. Also, none of the rooms offer somewhere that you can hang wet clothing or wet swimsuits which can be a bit annoying if you want to dry off anything from using the pool or beach.

I had an excellent night at this hotel. The staff members were very friendly and welcoming, from the receptionist to the restaurant team. The juice was refreshing and tasted great. I ate at the buffet, which had a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. I truly enjoyed my night and had a wonderful experience overall. The property was clean, beautiful, and well maintained. I would definitely visit again!

I must say that the S Hotel certainly lived up to my expectations! Exceptional service especially at the front desk where Navine provided a detailed explanation as it relates to the services offered. Dontae who cooked up a scrumptious pasta meal! Orville my server was exceptional. I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience during my visit. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the workers were very helpful and provided excellent customer service throughout the evening. Everything was good, and I felt comfortable. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend others to visit as well.

My visit at the S Hotel Montego bay was from start to finish. The front desk staff greeted me warmly, the lobby was decorated beautifully very cozy and clean! The rooftop view of the ocean was breathtaking but my favorite part of my trip was the food. Food was well seasoned and fresh, there were a variety of food to choose from and the servers were attentive and friendly.

The hotel is very good. However it lacks the amenities . You have to ask for everything. Good thing is every room is ocean front. Beautiful views. Staff is very courteous and friendly. Disappointed with the drinks.

Fact we had to wait 3/4 hours for our suitcases. We ended up collecting them ourself from reception. The hotel manager did compensate us with a 30 min back massage

I loved the room I stayed in—the ocean view was absolutely breathtaking. The staff were some of the kindest and warmest people I’ve ever met; it truly felt like staying with family. The food was consistently amazing, with plenty of variety every day. Next time I’m in Montego Bay, I’ll definitely be back!

The food at the S hotel was by far the best all-inclusive hotel food we have had. All three restaurants and the buffet did not disappoint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The beach was clean and beautiful!
