We came here last september and had an amazing time , the only downside was the transfer , we have booked to come back this april and have paid the extra for a private transfer. The hotel is spotless and the food was amazing. Drinks are the normal local beer and spirits etc , pity you have to pay for cocktails , we went around the corner to a bar and had cocktails there. The monday market is a 10 minute walk and is great for clothes and bags and anything else you need , although all the stall holders are very pushy so be prepared for that . The staff at the hotel were amazing although we didnt see the entertainment staff at all . Do not expect what you see on social media when it comes to poolside entertainment as it didnt happen when we were there . All in all a lovely hotel and holiday . And cant wait to come back in april . BOOK A PRIVATE TRANSFER LOL
Just come back from 11 nights, I can’t find anything to be alarmed about. I think for what we payed it was great, There was no entertainment around the pool even though the weather was nice. Please do not expect what you see on the Facebook story videos. It’s not like that at all Maybe it was due to the time of year but that should be noted in the decsription of the hotel, The animation team made zero effort and didn’t even introduce themselves, I heard them call for mini golf and rifle shooting once in 11 days and the other days my son had to ask them of it was on, over 11 days it was on 2, Sundays they have a break day. Not sure what from, I did notice a theme with the staff whether it be restaurant or bar staff, lobby staff or animation team they are constantly on their phones. The food was lovely. Been to turkey 13 times and it’s pretty much what you expect, it wasn’t busy in there at all. So it was lovely to be able to take the time and look what was on offer, we were far from hungry and enjoyed every meal. There’s one waiter in the restaurant a gentleman with long black hair Who was the only friendly staff member and he worked his absolute socks off, you really noticed when he had a day off. He need a promotion. The drinks menu was basic on all levels It was vodka, gin and whiskey, no cocktails not even an attempt of a house cocktail And the prices they wanted was 9 euros a drink Nope! We went to the olive bar around the corner which was fantastic and paid for drinks there. I loved the coffee and cake station which is on from all day till midnight, proper treat popping down for late night cake. Loved that, the ice cream is gorgeous too which is available between 3-4.30pm, it’s good quality and they don’t scrimp, The hotel shop is crazy prices, there’s a Migros 2 mins walk away. The rooms are lovely and clean we paid for sea view. So worth it the sunsets were amazing, only BBC news is available in English, The evening entertainment was good, we liked the shows. Especially the Turkish one. We went on a few trips which we booked through minster tours such good value for money and you book online, we also caught the dolmas to Alanya 1 euro wax or 50 lira. Which is a bargain. It picks up and drops off right outside the hotel, lovely city to walk around, I was bothered about paying for WiFi before I went but to be fair the lobby has free WiFi and my son brought an e sim which was £15 for the 11 days. So he could use it out and about, We had a lovely time but probably wouldn’t return as we like a cocktail and a bit of atmosphere in the day and also the transfer was 3 hours. We got the holiday for a good price so I’m happy with what was offered, 4 adults with flights and transfers was 2600,
So this is going to be a long honest review... we have stayed in many different hotels in Turkey but this one may of been one of the worst ones yet, I mean it wasn't terrible but certainly not as enjoyable as we had hoped and that is partly our fault with choosing October to visit. The Reason being is very little entertainment round the pool for adults and kids, when researching the hotel we saw that one side of the pool is sunnier than the other for some of the day however when we arrived the sun actually didn't reach the pool or loungers until 1.30pm so unless you go out of the hotel or to the beach you are in the shade a lot of the day as it goes dark 18.00ish and I feel if there where more entertainment for the kids it wouldn't of been so bad, they had shooting once over 10 days and darts twice. and no pool activities like advertised such as club dances, games or exercises, The food was very minimal and noticed as the week went one food almost seemed to be recycled if you like for later in the day or following days. Halloween based deserts where then put out for the two days following at lunch time. After reading a lot of posts about the chicken donner being available each day at the snack bar I was looking forward to that but it was only offered once during our stay, don't get me wrong none of us starved (other than my 8 year old) but certainly was not looking forward to meal times. cold chips and burgers along with onion rings got very boring very fast. you get various reps attending the hotel asking if you would like free transfers to their tattoo shops / restaurants and shopping centres to which we thought we would try the LIONS shopping trip - Afterall its free .... they said we pick you up you look around our shop then around alanya and the we bring you back... that sounded great however it was an awful experience. We (9 of us) where taken by minibus to alanya centre pulled into a car park and ushered through a back door of a building, we where then in a shop that sells all typed of hoodies, trainers, coats, bags etc we went with some things in mind we wanted - they did not have the hoodie or trainers we wanted we saw a coat that we liked however the price was down as 320 euros I said no way and was assured this is not the price it would be the price close to what we where willing to pay and laughed saying "if not we just kill you" this scared the children . when we offered a certain amount we where laughed at & he said to my daughter don't worry mum will pay the rest for you! once I refused we were told aggressively to go shop elsewhere and find our own way back! so we did. The staff in the hotel where friendly without a doubt even the maids although the ones that cleaned our room didn't clean floors or brushed just made our bed, rooms where tiny for a family of 5 and not enough room for clothes. evening shows where ok but over 10 days we say the same Turkish dancers 3 times . the one night we really did enjoy was Halloween!! the hotel really did go all out on this night for the entertainment which was columbian dancers and the kids and adults loved it. All in all it was nice to get away somewhere warm but I would not go again and wouldn't recommend anyone going as late on in the year. also 2hour 20 mins transfer from Antalya was a killer!!
We stayed at this hotel in October and absolutely loved it! Nice hotel, all the staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, and the shows were interesting. Spa was also very good. We'd love to come back.
As before I planned i ask for suprise for our honeymoon. It was just bottle of champagne and biscuits and nice decor over doors, doesn't seem like any effort is put in, but that is my personal opinion. We asked for extra pillow and cover (only cover we got after 2 days, pillow never got brought up). All credit I would like to give is to personal staff in restaurant and pool staff, as reception staff didn't were so helpfull and not even interested to do that.Entertainment in nights was good.
Lovely hotel, polite staff and the evening entertainment was really good. The food had plenty of choice for the adults and The Turkish night was by far the best! Not so much choice for kids although there is chips and cakes every night. The only downside was, the daytime entertainment wasn’t great as the pool games are for adults only and we had to take it turns to set a very very early alarm to be able to get sun beds as there is not enough for the amount of people staying in the hotel. All in all I would definitely stay here again.
I’m going to start by saying I do not understand how this hotel has scored more than 2 stars by anyone. I’ll start with the pros, very clean hotel and really close to the beach. The cons… The food choices are absolutely terrible: Onion rings and meat stew for breakfast. Snack bar opens at 11.30 which is far too late when lunch is served an hour later. It’s the same terrible food everyday….I’ve basically lived off pasta and bread for the entire holiday. Also it’s like a stampede at feeding time, no queuing, just a free for all as to who can get to the food the quickest. Massively overcrowded, sun beds crammed in round the pool and you better be an early riser because if you haven’t got your towel on a sunbed before 7am you aren’t getting round the pool. This is a German hotel in Turkey, near enough guest is German and I’m afraid to say very very rude. I’m not sure if the staff have become accustomed to their attitude but the staff aren’t very friendly either. I have never been on holiday and looked forward to returning home but I honestly can’t wait to leave. Plenty of other hotels to choose from and unless your German don’t bother coming.
We followed the instagram and read all the reviews and were really impressed but in reality the hotel is not a 4 star, but more like and spacious and clean 3 star. Unfortunately they were more cons than plus's with this hotel, but we could see why it appeals to people. Note: we did come in the holidays so it was the busiest time of the year - that can affect a review massively. The biggest con, without a shadow of doubt is the fact there's nowhere near enough sun-bed's to cater for the visitors. It totally ruined the experience for us, to the point it was stressful. I had to get up at 6:30am every morning, unless we were not wanting to swim or were planning to go to the beach and put our towels out. It's that busy you have no choice but to stay around the pool so that you have a bed, you can leave your towels to go eat, like usual, but there's zero chance of getting a bed after 10am, zero. We've never been to a hotel where this became a deciding factor of whether you get to enjoy your day. furthermore, 2/3 times, we had people just lay on our beds. They too like us, have no choice, what you going to do, deny the kids the ability to swim? Yes, you can go to the beach, which was lovely and generally easier to get a bed, but if you failed to get a bed, where are you going to keep your belongings? a non-starter. A big con was that if you have a room thats close to the lift, for some mental reason there's a door bell sound that charms not only when someone enters or leaves the lift, but if someone on a different floor presses the button. We all were woken up multiple times from the lift. (We stayed in room 4402). Something that became super annoying was that the all inclusive drinks list was so restrictive, you can only have beer, red/white wine and vodka, whisky, rum and gin. It's incredible how boring it gets even after a few days... even a few things to mix it up would have helped a lot. And for some reason the spirits affected you quite a lot. We didn't see anyone get a cocktail and they say after 12 you can buy drinks, but they simply turned everything off, even the lights so if you wanted to be out post midnight, you're in the dark. You only really have a small area to drink in, which is the snack bar, after a few days, it's monotonous but there is a rooftop bar which breaks it up, but it's not accessible enough. The Wi-fi is a big issue too, unless you pay £15 you only can use the free Wi-fi in the reception, which just isn't good enough. Wi-fi should be available to all, especially when there's only limited things to do. For some reason the cleaners would all come out at 9am and whilst everyone is rushing about for breakfast, you have people cleaning the floors, windows, in the gym, whilst your training... it was super annoying and it was everyday. The food was mish-mash of things and you struggled to make a proper meal, but the meat was always super hot and tasty. Like usual, a big selling point is the wide range of desserts but they were bland and taste the same. The entertainment was good enough, but nothing like the instagram videos, which whoever is running it needs a pay rise, because they make a lot of things out to be awesome, when really, they're just ok. And just like the bed situation, you want a seat outside to watch the show, you have to be there when it dinner opens, otherwise you're out of luck - but you can go to the rooftop bar too. Plus's. The beach was great, always a bed, but 5/10 days we were there, unless you get a bed at the back, you and all your belongings get washed away, because the waves can reach 5ft in height and make a big splash. We saw a couple that had to be saved because the waves knackered them out and they couldn't get back in. You can also go to the Kaptan snack bar next door on the beach and get soft drinks, and use their toilets, but no food or alcohol. The rooms were spotless, comfy and modern. We were a party of 5, myself, wife and son, and the mother/father in laws. They got to stay in the front facing room that had a panorama of the whole side of the hotel and front, really nice views. The staff were all lovely and accommodating... and happy to help. Except for the man who owns the store in the hotel, unless you are willing to be ripped of, don't even bother. He tried charging me £6 for a deodorant and even just saying no thanks, he made a massive scene for no reason. Water is readily available, we asked for cartons of water and they threw as many as we could hold... also if you get sick of the small plastic cups, don't worry, I saw whole groups using pint side beakers and they will fill that right up with beer no problem. The hotel was nice, clean, and we did have fun, when everything goes your way... but if you can't get up early, or like to be versatile like, wanting to go to the market in the morning, then go for a win in the afternoon, you can forget it. That was the deciding factor for us - the whole experience was restrictive. You can't go with the flow, you've got to be on the ball and for families with kids and the elderly like us it was stressful.
The hotel was good and very comfortable. The AC unit worked faultlessly, and the food was fantastic throughout the day with a wide choice, although it did become a bit repetitive after one week. The bars were open until midnight, which was convenient. Everything was very clean – the hotel was constantly being maintained, even the pool area, and I didn’t notice a single broken tile anywhere. We also appreciated that no one was chasing you if you grabbed a piece of cake or fruit to take out of the restaurant. In Tenerife we had a very different experience, where staff even made us throw away a half-eaten baguette rather than allow us to take it outside. The only drawback was the accommodation in Block 4, particularly on the 1st floor. These rooms are located just above the technical premises and have a terrible view of the roof and a wall with several AC units running constantly, creating so much noise that it’s almost impossible to sleep. We requested a room change the next day, but honestly, such rooms shouldn’t be offered at all, as they risk damaging the hotel’s otherwise excellent reputation.
First and last time staying at this hotel more like a 3 star NOT a 4 star the food is terrible they have no idea how to cater for English people and children and the entertainment was terrible just to warn people cocktails are NOT including in all inclusive turks sure love there money 🙄🙄
This is our 4th year stating at the Grand Uysal and they are still exceeding are expectations. Everything about this hotel makes your holiday complete. All staff are very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 14 nights in room 4501 as a family of 5.. the room was cleaned daily and had ample space. If anything was required we rang down to reception and it was brought up in a short amount of time. The food choice is extensive with varieties of vegetables, salad, meats, fish and dishes, all fresh and all the kitchen staff are friendly.Lovely to see staff we have met over the years still working especially Abraham the chef and Mehmet the waitor. There was entertainment on each night apart from a Sunday ( animation team day off) We enjoyed all the shows and on the Friday there was an acoustic singer on the sunset bar. The hotel has its own private part of the beach which is accessible via a decorated tunnel from the hotel and there are lots of sun-beds with parasols available. We spent much out time there.Murat K and the lady work hard and are very friendly on the pool snack bar. The pool bar is open from 10am and a shout out to Ali, Periham and Nezza for yet again working so hard and welcoming us. We have booked again for next June and are looking forward to returning.
5 Stars – A Fantastic Stay! We had a wonderful time at the Grand Uysal Beach Hotel. The atmosphere was relaxing, the customer service was excellent, and everything was spotlessly clean. The food was delicious with a great variety every day. From start to finish, everything was perfect. They truly deserve this good review – highly recommended!
This hotel truly shines! Our room and toilet were spotless, and the food and services were excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly, making it a fantastic place for both couples and families to relax. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking these qualities.
Great staff, hotel was clean and very accommodating for me and my partner staff, Ali in the shop is so very helpful and great prices
Super friendly, good for family. Very clean, good location. Feels super safe, kept leaving towel designs on the bed super cute.
The hotel is clean, comfortable, nice room. Hotel is lovely, swimming pool very nice. Staff all of it is very polite and very helpful. The hotel position is very good if you wanna go to the town. The beach is very comfortable. Normally you are paying a lot of money if you want a hotel with a private beach, but here is the best! Good price for the private beach. The food is very tasty!! That’s why we want to come back! What would we do without Julia? We would like to say that she is very nice and helpful. Thanks to Julia! She solved all our problems. If Julia is here, we will never be in stress
It's nice little gym, you don't need to walk anywhere, it has every that you need. We loved the food and the swimming pool. Nice place in front of hotel , very relaxing. Message was very good, beautiful!! Thanks for all of you! Happy workers, lovely! Thanks for Julia shes very helpful. Antonio is lovely and friendly. All the staff, in the spa, at the restaurant, lifeguards, reception ❤️
My stay at the hotel was fabulous. I am a vegan with allergies so not the easiest person to cator for but the hotel and the team did all they could to support me. The head chef made me vegan bread! The guest and operations manager listened to my requirements and altered what they could to fit with my needs and Julia was available to take me around each food station and point out what I could eat. Above and beyond in my experience.
Food great, staff very friendly and helpful realy clean the staff worked so hard.will be comming back.only downside tranfare time and On the beach rep.he was pushing for trip bookings so we got the boat one and the City one,he said you go up in cable car to see veiws of Alanya he never mentioned all the walking that had to be done and that it included a 1 hour boat trip as well.i have to walk with a stick(wich he saw)i tried my best to keep up but was in agony the next day.
Just leaving hotel ....absolutely fantastic, hotel is very clean to a very high standard, food is amazing lots of choice, the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend the grand uysul hotel.a great holiday.....thankyou too all hotel staff 👍 😀
Could not fault the hotel, there are some things which are not perfect, but small things only, the shower does leak and soak the bathroom floor (poor design) , the bed (we had) was hard. The buffet food can be a little repetitive and bland, but these things were outwayed by everything else. The hotel is spotlessly clean, towels changed every day, the pool area is spottlessly clean, the staff are polite, helpful and very good even if some cannot speak great english as one review complained of. The room was spacious, had plenty of storage even if a little weirdly designed (not many drawers). The Hotel is between two busy roads, we heard the road the first night, not after. It's abot 15-20 minutes (300 Lira) Taxi into Alanya, about 90 minutes to walk. The food was a llittle hit and miss, some strange choices, but we always found something to eat and the barbecue was very nice. Overall, I would stay there again.
çalışanlar tam anlamıyla mükemmel. gerçekten misafirliğe gitmişsiniz gibi hissediyorsunuz, tüm çalışanlara teşekkür ediyorum. sahilde bar yok yazıyordu bazı yorumlarda, sahilde bar olmasına gerek yok, havuz barı 1 dk yürüme mesafesinde , deniz aniden derinleşiyor. sadece öneri olarak yemek çeşitleri artırılabilir. Fiyat performans olarak çok iyi.
The worst food ever, paper cups I room beach area dirty, used condoms around Sun beds, the best part was getting in taxi & going home. The staff don't speak good english. The hotel & rooms were kept very clean you have to pay for your Wi-Fi definitely do not recommend this hotel
I would say my overall experience of this hotel was average. It’s not a bad hotel, just a bit underwhelming. The best part was probably the rooms, very comfortable, clean and everything you needed was there. The food was hit and miss, mostly miss. But that is to be expected with all inclusive food. Most things you had no idea what it was, some of the signs didn’t make sense and the staff members couldn’t tell you either. The majority of the staff struggled with English which was made communication a bit hard. WiFi wasn’t included and you had to pay €10 extra, which seemed a little strange. Definitely take euros as well as hardly anywhere accepts Turkish Lira. Not many restaurants or shops around, but you could get a 10 minute taxi to the town which had more going on. The entertainment was quite fun some nights, but a bit basic others. Pool was nice enough but quite small, and quite a lot of children splashing around. The beach was very small too with lots of stones, but there were private sunbeds so that’s good. The massage was great, cheap for your money and very enjoyable! Overall I probably wouldn’t come back here but it’s an ok hotel for a cheap holiday.
The hotel is very nice, clean, the staff was very pleasant. At the last minute they managed to organize everything for our girls birthday. Made it spectacular!! Althought the season was coming to an end, the food was very good and enough! Recommend it for sure!
It's really great more than we expected Very clean. great staff very helpful for sure I will be back again We had a lovely time .. The hotel close to the beach and city. The weather very good 👍 👌. Animation okay. Thank you so much Grand Uysal Hotel
We come here 2 times. We stayed last summer . Hotel very close every where .The foods are very tasty. Pool and beach are very nice. Hotel near by the sea. Staff very kind and helpfulll. Nes, Nazmi, Enes, Umut, Eren and chef Memet very kind. You need to meet with Esma 🥰. E joyable holiday. We will come back next summer.
Everything was excellent!!!!apart from there was no free Wi-Fi. I choose again and again 😊
Hotellet var under all kritik. Maten hade ingen variation, man fick samma mat i flera dagar i olika former.
Aamupala aika huono.
Horrible I left hotel same Time I didn’t start there I need my money back
It was ok but was definitely not worth the price, I payed for all inclusive however had to pay for spa treatment even though it includes it in the description, we also had to pay for local drinks. Soft juice was all powder juice. Poor communication in reception most are miserable also someone crashed into my car in the hotels car park and none of the workers helped till I argued with them. Wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone, disappointed I wasted my money!
Yemeklerde fazla secenek yoktu plaj fala düzgün degil
It is a very clean hotel the rooms are very basic and could do with a little updating. Most of the staff are really friendly and very helpful but the food is very simple and the leftovers they use for the next meal or for a meal the day after. I would not recommend anybody to go to this hotel when it gets to the end of the season because when they run out of drinks they would rather not order these anymore until you put a complained in and then there is some of he drinks again within about 1 hour. Also at the end of the season the owner of the hotel invites her friends to come and stay for free and they get everything fresh and also everything is made there and then on the grill and we as guests are getting the leftovers again from the the before, there where only about 10 guests left in the hotel and then of course the 15 invited friends from the owner. They did get served by clicking there fingers and we had to go and get ours ourselves while we have paid money to be there. all by all i would not go to this hotel anymore. If everything was as good as most of her personnel that hotel would be 100 times better without the manager. all by all we paid a lot of money and not the complete service.
Çok berbat bir otel
Bahçede her yer kedi dolu.
Rom is very dårlig.maten is not god.har sagt der er det ikke såpe toilett men forsett du sitte ikke såpe tolket.toielt kolesett er så skitten at man ønsket ikke toilett.vis det er gratis neste gang så ønsker ikke gå der
Had a reservation for two nights when we arrived at midnight tired after driving 16 hours, they couldn't find the reservation had to wait and no one was helping. I canceled the hotel and they didn't refund my money even though it was there fault they Kapped my money.
