Reviewed May 31, 2026Es liegt nahe an einem Strand. Die Vermieter waren freundlich. Wir haben dort Wäsche gewaschen. Das Wetter war leider schlecht, so dass wir den schönen Strand nicht nutzen konnten. Prinzipiell hätte man bei gutem Wetter auch Kanus leihen können. Das Zimmer war recht groß.

Reviewed May 16, 2026Beautiful location, quiet narrow road without any traffic, wonderful views of the harbour and Pauanui peninsula across the sea. A very comfy bed with lux sheets and pillows. Nice bathroom and kitchen and 10/10 for cleanliness. Terry is a great host.

Reviewed May 6, 2026The resort is conveniently located near Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. We had a lovely, restful evening enjoying a lite dinner on our balcony. We also enjoyed a walk around Mt Paku. We were also able to do laundry which was helpful.

Il a plu pendant les 2 jours de notre séjour ! En plus les routes étaient fermées à cause des inondations le jour du départ et il a fallu attendre 16h pour partir.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Had a room here and got into town early. We drove by to check the place out around 12 noon and the sign on the manager's door said "We are Closed." A man was walking through the door, looked at us briefly , then continued to walk through the We are Closed Sign. We didn't end up staying here, got a nice room at the Villas in town so will stay there from now on.
Place looks very dated, no frills backpacking type place, one step up from rustic camping.

If there is flooding or landslide you may get trapped or not reach your hotel (there are only two major roads to this location). Flooding gets worse with high tide so you may plan your trip for lowtide.
