Lovely short distance out of town with country views! Lovely cared for building and generous sized room with large ensuite!

We arrived one evening to find our room door open and toiletries piled in a mess on a shelf. We immediately were concerned about our belongings. Obviously housemaid had been called away mid clean but forgot to return. Not great, but extremely apologetic management and all was well. Nothing stolen thank goodness!

The room was very large, spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. There was a huge very comfortable bed. A very big bathroom with a bath and a big shower cubicle

We stayed here so that we could visit Puck Fair in Killorglin, which was absolutely exotic for me (I live in Singapore). We only got one evening in Killarney, and we used it to stroll the town's charming Main Street. Kathleen's Country House is a very well-furnished, cozy setup with helpful staff, and a great breakfast.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spotless. Breakfast was delicious, with excellent service. A great place to stay.

Nous avons passé une première nuit dans cette guest house au début de notre périple , nous avons eu la chambre 12 qui n'est pas au niveau d'un 4 étoiles comme l'indique l'établissement : chambre exiguë, vieillotte , donnant de surcroît sur le côté route sans parler du matelas d'un lit en 140 très inconfortable ! Le second passage dans la chambre 9 totalement renovée à l'arrière de l'hôtel fut calme avec un espace beaucoup plus grand ( chambre et salle de bain ) et 2 lits confortables Le petit déjeuner propose un bon choix de plats servis à l'assiette par un staff efficace Merci à Lin pour l'attribution d'une chambre plus confortable lors de notre second passage

A very clean property which is obviously very keen to reach high standards. Parking is well planned with plenty of spaces available. There were sound choices at breakfast and everything was well presented.

The bedroom was very cramped with poor sound insulation. The general approach was pleasant but somewhat impersonal.

Große Zimmer, sehr ruhig gelegen. Beim Frühstück gute Auswahl und es war sehr lecker!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Dachfenster, das defekt war. Es ist so weit aufgegangen, dass wir es bei Regen nicht über Nacht geöffnet lassen konnten.

The room was a fair size, bed comfortable, bathroom good.

The venue advertised itself as being a tranquil retreat - it actually lies on a very busy and dangerous main road into Killarney. Had we known we would not have stayed there. Also, the host cut corners with breakfast, and with minor features.

The property was clean, homely and comfortable. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. There was room to socialise comfortably.

Beautiful home and well presented. We were greeted by Ivy and she was lovely. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was great! We really enjoyed staying here and really recommend it to anyone thinking about it.

We loved this place. Very clean, quiet and beautiful. Rooms were spacious, breakfast was really good, easy parking, all in all best of our trip.

Would have liked a small fridge in the room.

Vam agrair la poda de la tanca vegetal davant la finestra de l'habitació. Amb la poda van descobrir un paisatge bonic, pel qual vam gaudí mes de l'habitació i vam descobrir les postes de sol i mes llum a l'habiyació.

Convenient parking, the beds were absolutely wonderful- very comfortable. Couldn’t fault the breakfast and service was lovely. A young man carried my elderly mother’s luggage upstairs which was very much appreciated. Also love the living spaces where you can relax and read a book

The property had plenty of parking and was just a few minutes outside of town. I enjoyed the room and the decor. It was better than the pictures. Also the shower was amazing.

I was just missing a mirror in the bedroom for doing hair and makeup. There was only one mirror in the bathroom. No ideal.

Personale davvero gentile e cortese, ambiente tranquillo e bellissimo il giardino con tavolini e panchine. posizione non troppo centrale ma si arriva in centro comodamente con 5 minuti di macchina,relax assicurato.

Posizione ottima, appena fuori città, con un bel parcheggio per gli ospiti, una bellissima casa di campagna irlandes. Camera pulita, personale cortese e collaborativo, colazione ottima e abbondante.

Vista la dimensione minima delle scale irlandesi, sarebbe utile un ascensore, o almeno un montacarichi per le valigie, visto che non sempre si viaggia con un trolley.

Maison très agréable avec plusieurs chambres et de belles parties communes. Notre chambre était 'rénovée' et donnait sur le jardin donc très calme. Petit déjeuner correct servi à table sur commande ( salade de fruits frais, oeufs brouillés, au plat, yaourt, bacon...) Emplacement à la sortie de Killarney mais à quelques minutes en voiture du centre animé.

Petit déjeuner avec choix multiples mais sans véritable saveur. Rapport qualité/prix un peu élevé mais assez classique en période estivale à Killarney.

Lin at the front desk was exceptional and assisted me with my suitcase upstairs and out to the car. The property and room were exceptional. The only thing I would have appreciated more was better water pressure for the shower and a lift!

Easy parking, access and check in/ out. The room was clean but a little small.

Very little soundproofing, a lot of noise from rooms upstairs and either side - conversations and running water. Some breakfast portions were very small - eg poached eggs on toast = 1 piece of toast and 1 egg - bit small for a cooked breakfast option

Zimmer sehr klein. Im Bad keine Ablageflächen, im Zimmer kein Spiegel was das Haare föhnen schwierig macht, da es in Irland keine Steckdosen im Bad gibt. Kein Fahrstuhl

The host was so accomodating and friendly - very helpful. Innthe perfect location. Breakfast was so nice.

Lovely guest house just outside Killarney. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming, even showing us to our room. Parking was easy. Modern bathroom and shower refit was great!

Rooms are not very sound proof and we could hear the couples staying either side of us talking loudly the whole time.

Lovely staff. Room clean & tidy. Close to restaurants & shops. Free onsite parking site parking. Lovely outside/garden area for sitting or picnics.

Beds were uncomfortable.

We stayed only one night in Kathleen's Country House but we really enjoyed the place: it's very well maintained and cleaned and it's only 8 minutes drive from the town centre. Beds were extremely comfortable.

The only downside was the breakfast: portions were very small and insufficient to make us feel full and the menu didn't include Irish breakfast.

The room was comfortable and had benefited from recent refurbishment. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The team was incredibly courteous and pleasant.

There were strange impractical handles on the inside of the bathroom door that kept coming off. Mugs would be better than teacups on the tea tray. The hot part of the breakfast came out whilst we were still on our (delicious) fresh fruit salad - it would have been more sensible to cook this when we had finished the first part, it made breakfast seem somewhat rushed through.

Purtroppo molte cose: struttura datata,camere da rimodernare (si nota che una parte delle camere è stata ristrutturata ma a noi non sono toccate le camere nuove),odore di umido alla reception e odore ancor peggiore nel corridoio delle camere al primo piano, odore come di gatto,forse per via della moquette ovunque,pavimento sfondato e tende macchiate in camera,materasso imbarcato al centro, colazione limitata, a pochi metri da una strada a alto scorrimento... Prezzo forse adeguato a killarney che è cara ma non adeguato a ciò che viene offerto.Deludente

There was the smell of septic coming up the drains into the room.
