Ivybank Lodge

The lounges, dining room, and bedroom were all stylishly decorated. We were greeted a with warm welcome, and all the other guests seemed to be enjoying themselves.

The shower. Three main issues with it. The first is that it took a bit of work to get water hot enough for a shower. The second was that the pressure was not very high. However, the third was perhaps the biggest issue - the shower was inside the bath which had a high side. The screen on the side of the bath moved quite easily. Therefore, the only thing that could be used to support someone getting in and out of the bath was the side of the bath. This was not easy. A grab rail on the far side of the bath would have been of help here.

Everything was exceptional from the room cleanliness to the facilities in the room and the breakfast served too.

Exceptional place to stay. We're already planning how to build it into our next tour. The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had.

An absolutely fantastic small hotel—a historic property with a luxurious interior at an affordable price. Very friendly owners. I'm not a fan of British cuisine, but the breakfast was great.

A beautiful guest house in a great location. Hosts were both really friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was great with loads of choice. Would definitely recommend.

There was a bit of road traffic noise but as long as the windows were closed it was absolutely fine, just made the room a bit hot for me but would totally recommend staying at this lovely guest house.

Beautiful room and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We were late to check in because of horrendous problems on the motorway, but our host could not have been more helpful or accommodating.

Very high standard in every detail, luxurious rooms and surroundings. Personally I think the interior design were the most beautiful I have ever seen. Every little thing was well thought out. It was all about the details! Simply perfect! You just automatically feel very pampered and lucky to be there. The breakfast was the best on our whole trip. The host was welcoming, calm and discreet, perfect for this outstanding and romantic place.

The room was very nicely appointed and extremely clean. The breakfast was absolutely the best we had in all of our accommodations in Scotland. Parking was very convenient. Host was extremely pleasant and helpful.

The room was a bit tight and the bed mattress could have been better quality. Unfortunately, there was road construction going on, so a bit noisy in the morning. But that is temporary.

Everything was awesome...the hotel is decorated to a very high standard, the breakfast and evening meal were super good, I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Gary is a wonderful host.

These aren't things I didn't like, but more suggestions for the future - it was a hot night (unusual for Scotland!) so a fan in the room would have been appreciated. An accessible USB port or power socket near the bed would be good and a mug for tea/coffee rather than (or as well as) a small cup. None of these things detracted from a wonderful stay though.

This really is a little gem and I hope to return many times in the future.

Blairgowrie is a small village and Ivybank Lodge is easy walking distance to town. Only problem we had was finding it as google maps sent us on a merry old runaround. Great breakfast, friendly host and lovely room.

Der Lodge liegt direkt am Fluss in Blairgowrie, private Parkplätze stehen direkt am Hotel zur Verfügung natürlich kostenlos. Die Ambiente war sehr eindrucksvoll und einladend. Das Frühstück war typisch Schottisch und war sowas von lecker 😋. Es gab eine große Auswahl an verschiedene schottische Köstlichkeiten. Kann ich nur empfehlen 👍

We had a fantastic two night stay at Ivybank Lodge. Gary and Nigel were very friendly and welcoming. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was delicious. We had an issue with our bath which was sorted ASAP and we were kept up to date throughout. We also very much appreciated getting to meet their two cats. Great location for lovely walks and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful one night stay at Ivybank Lodge with a very friendly welcome. It is decorated to a very high and luxurious standard and the room was very comfortable with great attention to detail. We enjoyed sitting in the beautiful lounge with a glass of wine before a very tasty evening meal (which are available some nights of the week and you need to order in advance, so check the website). Breakfast was also excellent. We highly recommend Ivybank, it is great value for such a quality stay. We will definitely return!

The only small thing is the power of the hair dryer in the room (very low power). It would gave taken someone with long hair a very long time to dry. Certainly not a deal breaker.

Le logement avec deux chambres. Le parking en dehors de la vue. Localisation parfaite pour nous sur la route du retour. La salle du restaurant de bon goût.

Les lits : une tuerie, surtout pour les hanches et le dos. Pas dormi. Le service ultra long du dîner et du petit déjeuner. L'entrée du soir juste un scandale : truite (je vous passe ce qui va avec) : 2cm sur 3cm pour une attente de 45minutes : une blague ! Il vaut mieux dire au client qu'il n'y en a plus et on passe à une autre entrée... ça arrive, c'est pas grave. Ce qui l'est c'est de servir ce que vous nous avez servi! Au prix que vous facturez, on s'attend franchement à autre chose. 3 plats en 2 heures, c'est très long même pour des français. Le lendemain, à 30 secondes près nous partions sans prendre le petit déjeuner que nous avions commandé. 2 table, une de 2 personnes et nous (4) : 45 minutes d'attente... Pas d'excuse soir et matin ; ça a l'air normal !
