Nous avons fait étape pour une nuit et nous n'avons pas été déçus. L'hôtel est très bien situé pour visiter le centre d'Alba. Le personnel était très accueillant. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. Le petit déjeuner complet.

Everything. The reception staff are brilliant and really helpful on all matters. Impeccable service. And the breakfast is a bargain. Location superb.

Location to the town was ideal. The hotel is lovely, clean, spacious and with underground parking. The staff were all polite and helpful.

Immediate view from our window was of the railway line and concrete buildings but to the distance, rolling hills and villas. We were out and about during the day so this wasn’t a problem. The mattress and pillows were a little hard for us but that’s a personal thing, everyone is different 😊

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil. Le personnel était vraiment sympathique et en plus ils ont fait l'effort de nous parler en français. La chambre familiale (2 pièces) est très intéressante quand nous voyageons avec un adolescent de 14 ans.

Pas grand chose sauf que nous ne sommes pas venus le bon jour car le restaurant de l'hôtel était fermé.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tolles Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Das Zimmer war sauber, modern und komfortabel. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und lecker. Die Lage ist ideal und der Service war hervorragend. Ich habe mich rundum wohlgefühlt und komme gerne wieder. Klare Empfehlung!

Tout est parfait…. L’accueil, les personnes de la réception très sympathiques. Le restaurant, la dame qui s’est occupée de nous très agréable. Le parking dans le garage pour la moto, d’une propreté exemplaire. Le petit déjeuner… L’hôtel irréprochable…..

Hotelli oli tyylikäs ja siisti, huone ja WC/suihkutila olivat tilavat ja hyvin varustellut, henkilökunta erittäin ystävällistä ja palveluhenkistä. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja sopivalla aikavälillä. Sijainti oli hyvä, enintään 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä keskustan ostos- ja ravintolakaduista. Ilmainen pysäköinti omassa parkkihallissa oli ehdoton plussa. Pitkän reissumme matkatavarat oli helppo saada suoraan parkkihallista hissillä hotellihuoneeseen. Hotellin ravintolaa emme kokeilleet muuten kuin aamiaisella. Baari oli tyylikäs. Kävimme myös hotellin kuntosalilla. Se oli pieni, mutta riittävä meidän pieneen kuntoiluhetkeen.

Hotel très bien situé, en peu de minutes, nous étions au centre ville. L'accueil était correct, avec des bonnes explications et la langue souhaitée. Petit déjeuner très riche et de bonne qualité. Chambre pour 3 personnes, hyper spacieuse et très calme. Le prix était très correct avec le petit déjeuner et le parking inclus.

Das wirklich Einzige, im Gang des Zimmers (wir hatten Standard, Nr. 110), gab es keinen Spiegel, man muss ins Bad. Aber das ändert nichts an der sehr guten Bewertung.

We went truffle hunting and spent three nights at Hotel Calissano and had a wonderful stay. The hotel itself is older, but the rooms are very comfortable and Pet-friendly. What really makes the hotel special is the excellent staff. From reception to management to the restaurant team, everyone was genuinely helpful and welcoming. They made our stay feel personal and memorable.

Impossible de régler la vitesse de l’air de la climatisation. Réglage température ok, mais vitesse trop forte pendant la nuit!!

Distinction: there is Hotel Calissano and apartments at Hotel Calissano. We stayed at the apartments, which are in an adjacent building to the hotel. Bruno went above and beyond at check-in. He took us to the parking garage & directed us where to park our electric car rental. He even hooked up the charging equipment. Bruno then escorted us to our apartment and pointed out all features. Kudos to Bruno! The apartment had a full kitchen with refrigerator and stove. Private bath was a nice size but a couple of comments: the shower door did not close all the way so water was always on the floor after showering; the light in the bathroom was motion sensitive and out of range of the shower, unless you waved your hands above your head. There needs to be a manual override for the light. We had a balcony but there was no furniture on it so we had to take kitchen table chairs out if we wanted to sit outside. The location was great, a 5-10 min walk to the center of old town. However, the street the hotel is on is a bit dark and off the main road. Thankfully there was always other guests walking back in the evening, but for two women walking alone, it felt a little desolate/sketchy. Breakfast in the hotel was included. The dining room that breakfast was served was pleasing and had plenty of room. There were a variety of selections for breakfast. Would stay at Calissano again if in the Piedmont region. It was easy to explore and visit other towns & go on excursions. We went on a truffle hunt and winery tour/tasting within 30 minutes of Alba. Also explored neighboring towns of La Morra & Nieve. Alba's old town was charming and we spent a few days and evenings wining & dining.

Wir hatten eine Suite mit Terrasse und es war jeden Euro wert. Es hat nichts gefehlt was man von einem guten Hotel erwartet… Gutes Frühstücksbuffet, einzig mit dem Brot könnte man es noch besser machen.

Family of 4 adults, we stayed in one of the 3 bedroom apartments in a modern building immediately adjacent to the main hotel. Well-appointed, modern, nice beds, two large bathrooms, full kitchen and living room. Top-notch accommodations for an apartment hotel in Europe. My only nitpicks would be that only one of the bathrooms had a stand-up shower, the other had a bathtub with hand spray that is typical in Italy. And given that the apartment seemed otherwise fully appointed, it could have easily fit one of those small washer/dryer combo units that fit under the counter in kitchen. As for the main property, the lobby and lobby bar were very quaint in that old European style (but not outdated), the buffet breakfast had most everything you could want, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. At the last minute I decided to change a planned train to Milan with a private transfer, and the front desk checked with three different drivers to find the best rate. As for the location, hard to be better situated with a short 3 min walk to Piazza Ferrero, and 10 mins to the heart of the old town. Would recommend to anyone visiting the charming town of Alba or looking for a jumping off point for touring the local wine and truffle country.

Schon die Ankunft im Hotel Calissano war sehr entspannt weil wir gleich in die Tiefgarage fahren konnten von der man direkt mit dem Lift das Zimmer erreichen konnte! Das Zimmer war sehr schön und alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt! Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und reichhaltig! Top Adresse in Alba. Kommen sicher wieder. Personal war auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Erittäin hyvä palvelu, alakerrassa hyvä ravintola, hotellin alla ilmainen tilava parkkihalli. Sijainti hyvä automatkailijalle. Muutaman minuutin kävelymatka keskustaan. Jo toinen kerta tässä hotellissa.

Ulkoterassi lobbybaariin yhteydessä olisi kiva.
