It was a surreal experience staying at Vannasut. From its fabulous location close to Boudhanath stupa which I could see from my window, the hotel has superb dining facilities and an amazing salt room. I would definitely recommend the massage facilities which were fantastic. The staff are very polite and friendly. There is also provision for airport pick up and drop off. I loved my stay at Vannasut Hotel and spa.

It’s not the property’s shortcoming but there is loud construction that goes on all night.

2 minutes away from Boudha Stupa - that was the reason for us to stay there. Staff is kind, friendly and reliable. Rooms are really good (clean, big and well equipped, bathroom is also big and the shower is nice and clean) - and of course you are still in Nepal. Do not expect the Hyatt - but who would do so. We would for sure book again.

Чистота (не очень чисто, есть тараканы). Вида из окна нет. Спецпредложения отеля - пустой звук. Хотели дополнительно взять денег по уже закрытому счёту, посчитав разницу курса за ночь. (Я рассчитывалась в долларах, сдачу мне дали в непальских рупиях). Кухня - слишком пересаливают.

The hotel is very close to the Buddha Stupa, which is a great plus. Unfortunately it is located on a very busy street, across the street from the pedestrian area around the Stupa and crossing the street could be nerve wrecking. The hotel has a restaurant and spa, both featuring Thai specialties. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was very spacious, cozy and clean.

I could only comment about the service in their restaurant. we waited for more than an hour for our food to be prepared. other than that, everything is perfect.

The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. With all amenities readily available. The rooftop restaurant serves excellent food with views of Boudhanath Stupa and the valley. The spa is also highly recommended. The location is excellent for exploring Boudha.

I stayed at this hotel in Kathmandu for a birthday trip, expecting a peaceful getaway. The hotel itself is mediocre, but the management and owner are shockingly unprofessional and disrespectful. On my second night, at the rooftop bar, the manager and owner, along with two others, mocked and degraded me using homophobic and racist slurs. They even made fun of my appearance, completely unaware that I understood their comments in Nepali. Their behavior was appalling. I left the bar and checked out the next day. Despite requesting an apology, I received nothing. They ruined my birthday and my trip. This hotel is a disgrace. The staff only regretted their actions because they were caught. If you value diversity, equality, and basic human decency, do not stay here. This place represents the worst of society. A simple apology doesn't suffice for such vile behavior.

I booked it on 50.20$ for 2 nights to pay at property. But I pay 99.96$. Bad accounting, bad reception

I didn't take breakfast at the hotel so I can't comment on what it's actually like. The staff are amazing at the front desk. They helped me out a lot and I was extremely grateful for their help. Good tip is to buy them chocolate ;) About 2 minutes walk from the hotel is the famous Boudha Square so it's well placed.

I can't think of anything that I didn't like.

Helpful staff, great food, nice and clean room, beautiful interior, great spa and massage. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel.

The facility was wonderful

Only stayed for a short night, but staff did a great job to make it memorable. The rooms were decently sized, tidy and clean. Warm shower was available in middle of the night. The Vannasut will be my first choice for my next time in Kathmandu.

It is an okay place to stay if you need to crash a night before an early morning flight. Nothing more though.

The staff is friendly but not well trained. There is a lack of oversight and management. The rooms were not clean and did not fulfill the criteria mentioned on booking.com (no hair dryer, no mini bar, no wardrobes).

The shower was not working well. We shared with the staff, but nothing was done.

Too much noise, couldn’t sleep due to noise outside the room. No staff available during night to take some action to reduce noise. Booked Heritage room, only thing we could see was another building from window.
