Nice Way Porto Hostel

Beds were solid and comfy. Check in and out straightforward. Quite quiet.

Reception staff were fine, but felt the guy was more interested in serving women than men.

Algunas de las anfitrionas con cara de pocos amigos, están en la recepción con audífonos puestos, le hablas y por supuesto o no escucha o no quiere atender. Otras amables como Fernanda y los Chicos amables Ellos si sonríen en especial el de hoy, un pulpo, organizó baños, atendía en recepción, pasó la mopa, guauuu lastima olvidé preguntarle su nombre. Buen muchacho y muy diligente

I liked how close to everything it was

How loud everyone was during the night time it was like a a party all night long and the sound off the street with drunken people till 8am was ridicules. And if you went for a shower later at night you ended up showering in the dark.

La struttura è fatiscente, mancanza di prodotti per il bagno. La camera presentava una crepa importante sul muro. Il letto era piccolissimo per due persone.

Writing this review for anyone looking for more information on the FAMILY ROOM with the four beds in bunk bed formation. I couldn't find a lot of info on the room so here ya go. The room looked exactly like it did in the pictures provided. I was travelling with my three best friends so we separated the bottom twin beds and had plenty of room left. In fact, I liked that I had a little space behind the ladder for my stuff, while my top bunk mate kept her stuff on top of the bed shelf provided as well as on top of the lockers and desk next to the bed. The decor is minimal and tbh, grey and boring, but the room was spacious, QUIET, and comfy. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about road noise and hallways noise but we did not here a thing in the family room on the fifth floor. At one point a neighbor was speaking loudly in the hallway but we kindly asked him to stop and he did :) The female bathrooms were always so clean. They were hot as it was hot during our stay, but our room stayed nice and cold which is why we chose this hostel over another without AC but with a private bathroom. Beds were comfortable not too soft or firm--the pillows were deplorable. Lumpy, small, and thin. Thank god I brought my own pillow across the pond so I was able to provide my lumpy ahh pillow to my friend who was suffering from dental issues and needed more support. Seriously, Nice Way, replace the pillows. That's my main complaint. The elevator worked, the common room was nice, though maybe a bit less comfy than some hostels I've been to. It's not the most social hostel though they do advertise weekly social events, I don't think we stayed at the right end of the week but the atmosphere stayed cheerful. The workers were all very kind and made us the best espresso martinis we've ever had. And the LOCATION!!! It's perfect.

See above--worst pillow I've ever had the displeasure of resting my head upon (I've had better in hostels in the middle of the jungle)

Everything's great here. Great place just next to São Bento but not noisy, nice people, kitchen, laundry, it's just amazing and not too expensive ! We'll be back, for sure !!!

Era una quinta planta y el ascensor estaba roto, así que no me alojé allí. Me deberían devolver el dinero

The location was really close to everywhere. All of the Porto’s points of interests were in accessible zone by walking. The hostel was also almost next to public transportation. It was extremely easy to arrive by metro. The bar was really chip.

The curtains of the beds were very short and inadequate. The bathrooms and toilets were not clean at all but not dirty as well. The biggest problem was the noise which came from the crowd on the street in front of the hostel. It was impossible to sleep without closing the windows.

A localização é perfeita, muito próximo a estações e metrô e ônibus. A estrutura do hostel é muito confortável e me senti segura o tempo todo.

Location was very good. Room was o.k.

Did not have elevator. I was o.k because I did not have very heavy luggages. Kitchen was o.k, but it could be cleaner.

La mujer que atiende la recepción ( ni siquiera le pregunté el nombre..pelo corto negro de unos 30 y tanto ) y la que servía el desayuno..ambas poco atentas.

Limpeza muito boa, café da manhã muito bom e localização ótima.

As mulheres ficaram desconfortadas quando há de dormir com homens no mesmo quarto.Ao chegarmos no quarto as que ali estavam não ficaram satisfeitas , sendo que tudo era motivo de incomodos visívelmente não estavam satisfeita, problemas delas ... Da próxima vez que procurem hotéis para suas privacidades.

サンベント駅から5分。近所にレストランやファストフード店も多く便利な場所でした。 ドミトリーもありますが個室もあります。 バルコニーのあるお部屋で、エレベーターもあります。 お部屋の調度は簡素ですが十分広くて、シャワーも問題ありませんでした。 大聖堂までは10分弱です。

Bruit la nuit Le monsieur qui était dans la réception la nuit est bizarre. Je lui ai demandé de changer de lit et il a refusé, il a dit que les lits sont cassés et faut les réparer. Le soir il y a une fille qui arriver et qui s’est allongé sur le lit et elle a failli peter son dos. Le reste des personnel, les filles, était accueillante.

Luxusproblem ... es war zu kalt im Zimmer. Ein Grad mehr wäre vielleicht gut gewesen. Und 12 Zimmer ... da gibts immer welche die um 3.00 nicht gleich ins Bett gehen sondern denken sie müssten sich in den Schlaf quatschen. Aber dafür kann das Hostal nichts.

Soggiorno perfetto in passaggio da Porto per motivi di lavoro. Struttura interessante dal punto di vista della posizione e dell’architettura dell’edificio. Un poco rumoroso la notte; con i tappi si risolve. Staff super efficiente, cordiale, sempre presente. Una bella sensazione di libertà e sicurezza/compagnia per una donna che viaggia sola. Forse un rimodernamento dei bagni renderebbe più interessante la struttura. Grazie, tornerò!

Det är ett boende som känns tryggt, hyfsat rent och helt ok i förhållande till pengarna man betalar för att bo mitt inne i Porto.

Alla ljud från gatan och korridoren går rakt in i rummet. Läget av hotellet är bra, men det är mkt liv på natten. Så om man vill ha tyst på natten för att kunna sova skulle jag inte rekommendera detta hostel.

Het is een gezellige hostel. We konden 's avonds samen een door het hostel bereide maaltijd eten. Ideaal om andere mensen te leren kennen en ervaringen uit te wisselen.

샤워실, 숙소, 화장실 모두 깨끗했어요. 엘레베이터가 있었지만 제가 갔을 당시 수리중이였고 다행히 직원이 짐 옮기는데 도와주셨어요! 엘베는 금방 수리 되었습니다.

호스텔 단점이라면 건물 밖 식당에서 떠드는 소리가 새벽까지 너무 시끄러워서 잠귀 밝은 분들이라면 이어플러그 추천드려요!

Nice, pretty new hostel in center of town - we had a double room pretty spacious-

Noise - we had a double room but unfortunately benefitted from the people’s noise in the dorms: we are middle aged travellers, hostels in town are maybe not for us anymore 😀 too many party people 😀😀

Emplacement difficile à trouver car la photo de l'immeuble affichée sur Booking ne correspond pas du tout à l'entrée "officielle". Ok, la rue et le numéro était bien correct mais quand on arrive sur place, on s'attend que l'immeuble corresponde à la photo affichée sur Booking... Rue très bruyante toute la nuit et jusqu'au petit matin avec des attroupements de personnes.

I didn't like the elevator being down. I didn't like the hidden door, we felt like we couldn't find the place. I also did not care for the staff. THey weren't particularly welcoming.

Vi var i porto den 23-24/6 när de firar Festa de São João. Vi var två vuxna och en åttaåring och hade inga intentioner att vara ute och festa hela natten. Vi visste att festivalen pågick hela natten, vad vi inte visste var att rummen var så dåligt ljudisolerade och låg bredvid en gigantisk scen där de spelade musik hela natten. Det var som att försöka sova på en konsert, bredvid högtalaren. Helt omöjligt. Ingen information gavs av hotellet om detta på förhand. Så om ni ska åka till Porto den 23/6 och inte ska vara med på festivalen hela natten, BO INTE HÄR!

The Nice Way Porto Hostel provided lots of things to do. They had a daily walking tour and karaoke in the bar in the evening.

The sound echos throughout the rooms. We can hear people coming and going from the rooms as if they were in our room. So if you are a light sleeper, make sure to bring ear plugs.

El personal muy amables todos y la ubicación es excelente a paso de todo lo turístico y a pocos metros de la estación São Bento.

Lo malo es que se escucha todo, los pisos son de madera y se sienten todos los pasos, no pudimos dormir.

For the price one expect at least a towel and breakfast. What do you mean by facilities in the room? Charger and bedlight No facility to hang a shirt or a wet towel or shirt.. You can learn from Rivoli Cinema hostel

The hostel is very close to Sao Bento train station. It is possible to leave luggage before check in, although it is in a locked room there are no tags for your bags. We booked a room with a private bathroom, and it was large, clean and functional. If you have a very early flight it is only 20 minutes to the airport by taxi.

Due to it being an old building you can, unfortunately, hear people walking in rooms above you at any hour.

Ήταν κεντρικό, το προσωπικό ήταν πολύ ευγενικό και εξυπηρετικό. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ μεγάλο.

Δεν είχε τόσο καλή ηχομόνωση και τα πατώματα ήταν ξύλινα, παλιά και έτριζαν.
