An Island of Peace in Crazy & Hectic Cairo. A very calm and isolated hotel that seperates you from the noise and hectic nature of Cairo, yet with access to all main roads and highways to key locations and neighbourhoods of Cairo. Great facilities for relaxation with ample space for walking, and a great gym and health facilities.
The room service staff were confused as a different order was delivered to my room, with no salt and pepper, and the first time in my life were I had cherry tomatos added to my order of Ceasor Salad.
The room is very comfortable and green side is wonderful. So realxing and the stuff are very friendly. High recommend it for relaxing and having some quite time.
The rooms and landscape are amazing. Very nice staff and adult pool was relaxing and warm.
Indoor pool was not heated

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay at The Westin Cairo Resort, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional from the moment I arrived. They made me feel very comfortable and truly went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained. I really loved the atmosphere and attention to detail throughout the hotel. Everything was clean, relaxing, and exactly what I was looking for. A big thank you to the entire team for their excellent hospitality. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! ❤️
The breakfast was perfect, with a great selection and fresh, delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!
Water was smelling chlorine always. Mare restuarent was not up to the stamdard
The ammenties and architecture
The hotel staff are extremely unprofessional and do not represent the standard this hotel is up to. Check in was supposed to be at 15:00 they checked us in 16:27. Hotel staff fight infront of the guests, are very loud and noisy and have no respect for any guest sleeping or wishing to relax. The garden outside the room was extremely dirty filled with cigeratte buds and empty wrappers. There is no smart tv in the room and the channels on the tv are very limited and unpleasant. Duty managers mohamed youssef and ayman abdelfattah have 0 professionalism in dealing with guests and their hospitality is close to 0. Mohamed youssef was seen yelling at his colleague in the lobby in front of all the guests. Overall the staff is unprofessional, incompetent and do not represent a 5 star rated hotel.

This property is beautiful, well kept with so much greenery. The rooms are big and spacious and the private garden is a luxury to have especially in the Cairo heat. The staff was brilliant, super helpful and attentive especially Yoanna at reception.
The dinner package is a bit tight considering Mare Social prices, and the fact that we need to pay for the indoor pool is also a consideration.
Everything is perfect
The Half Board option was not worth the additional cost, as it amounted to around EGP 1,800. This additional amount was not clearly mentioned in the offer when we made the booking and selected the Half Board option. Moreover, when we arrived, we found that the meal prices were very expensive compared to the value provided by the vouchers. I believe the Half Board conditions, voucher value, and any additional costs should have been clearly communicated at the time of booking so guests could make an informed decision.

The air conditioning wasn't working, the cleanliness was poor, and the reception staff's treatment was very bad.
No extension to the laundry.. everytime you have to co tact the front desk to transfer you to the laundry and handling such calls is not upto standards. Everytime u need to move from ur room to the main building and the lobby especially when u have little kids you have to contact again the front desk to send you the golf cart.. they are not responsive if you r going there especially in the weekends. Check in although we arrive at 2:00 pm was at 3.30pm and this is with contnious follow ups and envolvement of front desk manager
The golf course is one of the best courses I’ve ever been to. It’s a hidden gem and I think it needs more global marketing to get more people in. The staff were very kind and respectful. The golf coach Ahmed Nagy was fantastic and really helped me improve my game.
The water pressure in the shower was too low and the temperature is not good. It becomes cold and then extremely hot.

I played 18 hole golf on Palm course, took golf cart , Rental clubs , green fees all in 150 USD. The staff was very welcoming and exchanged the rental club when I asked that I need stiff flex driver. The grips were very bad , luckily I had my leather glove. The course was amazing , trimmed fairways , smooth rolling greens , the hazards and bunkers were maintained. The back nine was bit challenging with 4 greens around water ponds. Lost my two balls as well. The overall experience was 9/10.
. . . for my health and welfare. Staff prepared to argue/correct you if anyone has a complaint. I became ill having eaten an evening meal and thank goodness I had packed medication for such an event, as was able to self-medicate. I tried to call room service as confined to my room; I needed bottles of water, towels etc but was passed from person to person with them suddenly unable to understand English. We had an unpleasant experience in one of the their restaurants that evening choosing to have our following three nights’ suppers brought to our room. Aloof, superior staff in suits; eventually the Head of Food and Beverages came to speak to us as my daughter complained, as the ‘final straw’ was eggs served at breakfast which had gone off. Fruit and sweet treats were sent to our room, but too little too late. We were hardly spoken to upon arrival whilst others welcomed like ‘long lost friends’; we didn’t enjoy our stay and said that we wouldn’t return upon checkout so this review shouldn’t be a surprise to them.
Open space - golf course view - palm trees - covered verandas and terraces - multiple restaurants - good service
Only one comment was that service at Dunes Bar was slow
the staff were friendly
attention to detail was so disappointing, furniture is old, you are not able to walk around the whole property unless you have a golf course pass, the breakfast was good but room service was terrible, location was isolated (though all of new cairo hotels feel that way), upon check out the staff were aggressively asking for a good review before payment. it was strange. at best I would give this place a 3.4/5
It's fine we enjoyed the hotel overall. But when my wife came down with gastroenteritis Hotel no doctor or Nurse ...but more surprisingly no idea who is good to call a doctor and or pharmacy this hugely disappointing ....Breakfast was football scrum as the weather still good to sit outside ...but some smokers reserve family tables for their personnel smoking area away from their table stopping other guests to sit out side ....Suited management refused to ask the ashtray reservers to move. One morning a visit from GM and things definitely improved with his floor walk.....check out a busy day was expected chaos ,which could have been handled more effectively .....still amazed no one from management asked how my wife was having only eaten at hotel ......hey ho must happen a lot ....landscape and golf course was delightful....two staff Zaid House boy was really helpful with my wife sick changing extra sheets and towels etc , and Majed seemed to work everywhere ,pool F and B posh restaurant and morning breakfast.....The main kitchen did an attempt at Rice porridge , better than nothing admittedly, thanks to them. Overall for a BonVoy group not overly impressed.......maybe spoilt Dubai and Far East versions .

Just incredible , from the all the staff in the Mare& Dunes restaurants, to the front of house staff, housekeeping what a team, nothing is a problem, hospitality is Fantastic , big shout out to the Mare& the Dunes, even on the busiest of nights I appreciate the service. I’m currently looking on a return away from business and working on bringing some family members to this fabulous resort..
The front desk team were very helpful especially Mr. Abdelfattah and of course Maged Ghattas was the highlight of the trip.
Dear management team @ Cairo Westin Hotel. I need to express my happiness for our staying @ your amazing hotel. The staff are well trained in hospitality, welcome, smile, eye contact and how to exceed customer expectation and special thanks to: Mr. Amr Naguib Director of Rooms. Mr. Ziad Anany @ Front office. Mr. Hany @ housekeeping. Mr. Romel @ Heavenly Spa.
We booked to stay at The Westin Cairo having found it through the Marriott app, and based on the pictures shown on their website. Myself and my wife were looking for somewhere we could go to shut down, relax, and completely unwind for 6 nights as a break away from work and the general busy day to day events of life. We were not disappointed. The communication with the hotel in advance was mostly good - I contacted them about arranging a car to collect us from the airport which was sorted quickly and easily ($55 USD cost per trip), and was told that my requests regarding my wife's Birthday whilst we were staying, and an enquiry about possible day trips would be answered by another department - sadly neither of these points were addressed in advance, but that is a side-note. Upon arrival in Cairo airport we were met by a man with a sign who got us through customs, helped us collect our bags, and then got us out to the car. The car was there waiting and whisked us away from the airport quickly, depositing us at the hotel roughly 30 minutes later. The standard of the hotel was set as I stepped out of the car and was greeted by name upon arrival - a really lovely touch which made us feel valued. The check-in process was easy and smooth, and we were told that due to our Marriott membership we had been upgraded to room 3005 which was a pool view room with a balcony, instead of the garden view room we had booked, another nice touch. We were then shown to a golf cart which drove us around to the room and helped us get our bags inside, leaving us to unpack and get sorted in what turned out to be an absolutely enormous room, with a lovely balcony with seating on it. The room amenities are nice, with a massive comfy bed, a good sized bathroom which had both a bath and a shower, an enormous TV on the wall which we didn't use once, a mini-bar, a coffee machine, a kettle, a safe, a comfy seat, and of course the balcony with two seats and a little table. Yes there are signs around the room that it could do with a little updating (marks on the artwork and slight peeling of the varnish on the balcony edging), but the room was more than comfortable for what we wanted. Over the course of our stay we tried all three places to eat: - Dunes Bar - a relatively good selection of bar-style food including salads, sandwiches, pizza, and a few other bits and bobs. The prices were reasonable and the drinks menu comprehensive, even through we stuck mostly to the same two drinks all week. - Paloma Restaurant - great for breakfast however the hot drinks machine didn't have hot chocolate all week, with a great selection of food including freshly cooked options. The evening menu, however, was 90% the same as the bar menu, with only a couple of different dishes added to it. We ate there once during our time there, and it was good, but quiet and lacking atmosphere, largely because it was so quiet. - Mare Social - the food here is excellent, and we chose to eat here for my wife's Birthday as a celebration. It's pricier than the other two options, however the food is well presented, well prepared, and very tasty. We discussed going back a second time but ultimately, ran out of nights there - it's nice for a more formal dinner where the other two places are more relaxed. We used the outdoor pool on two separate days, seizing a sun-lounger and simply watching the world go by. There is a good number of lifeguards on duty and the pool is clearly popular with guests, even though it's quite chilly at first when you get in. This is the one area where I do, potentially, have a minor issue with things though. The service from the staff at the pool was particularly slow - and whilst this isn't the end of the world, we did find ourselves waiting a long time for a drink as they didn't seem interested in following up with us as to whether we wanted another or not. They were friendly enough, just not very fast or attentive. The bigger issue with the pool though was other guests, and some of the behaviour. The pool with the swim up bar is clearly labelled as an adult only pool, and the lifeguards did their best to enforce this however some parents who seemed intent on sitting in big groups in the pool whilst drinking all afternoon seemed determined to argue with the lifeguards and ignore the requests for their children to not be in the pool. Not the fault of the hotel, but a point of note. We also used the indoor pool and spa facilities and found them to be excellent overall. The indoor pool is slightly chillier than I had expected, but refreshing none-the-less, and the massage on offer (we went for a Couples Massage for approximately 9,000 Egyptian pounds for 90 minutes) was exceptional, and left us feeling so relaxed that we went back for a second one a few days later as a real treat. The only gripe I had with the overall facilities in the spa was when I went for a haircut and was quite clear that I only wanted a hair and beard trim, but ended up with a facial and head massage, a facial steaming and a hair wash bringing the cost in at 3,000 Egyptian pounds - again, not the end of the world, but not what I asked for. Overall this was the perfect place for us given that we wanted a relaxing shut down for our time away. I can't comment on what trips and options are available as regards getting out from the hotel since we didn't use any and weren't provided with the information, however there was signage around which suggested trips were available and the concierge was there to help. A big thank you to the entire team at The Westin Cairo for making us feel so welcome, and for giving us such a relaxing time away - we will most certainly be back again in the future.
The welcome of Reception
The kindness of staff excellent
Very nice , modern and clean. Excellent for a gate away, pool etc Breakfast is quite good, in terms of variety and quality.
The Portuguese/Spanish restaurant was very disappointing, portion, food quality made it overpriced. Not worth it, at all

Amazing
The key to any Hotel us sleep - and here no sleep until 3am due to the parties. First its a Motel, your room is about 15min walk from reception. On arrival had to wait 20mins for a golf cart to my apartment block. Then I had to carry my suitcase upstairs as no elevator. I was in block 6000 overlooking the pool. However on 23rd Apr huge nose coming into my room eaking me up. At 2.30am I called reception to complain to be told its a Wedding party. 3am still no sleep due to the party As a regular business traveller to Egypt and Marriott Platinim member this is now off my list and will go back to staying at the Sheeaton down town, at least you can sleep at that hotel.
The whole place is beautiful, the landscaping is amazing, and the crowd is really cool
Adding an espresso machine and a small fruit plate to the room wouldn't cost much, but it would make your stay much nicer. The bar tables are a bit sticky and need a better cleaning. Breakfast used to be better, this time it was a bit disappointing
one of the best Hotels i have been to since many years.
nothing
The course and the room was amazing
The restaurant for evening could be better
Facilities - Restaurants, Golf Course, Bar
Staff were not always the friendliest
Perfect landscaping, fabulous surroundings
A bit far from some areas in Cairo
All was great
A bit pricey
They started cleaning the stairs while me trying to pass and i got all soaked in water my clothes and everything
The management did not take any action
Everything except whats stated below
The management has somehow been Egyptianized, if thats even a word.
Location is outstanding for Cairo with a beautiful and well maintained hotel and park
Quality of food ordered to the room was overpriced for the quality of the food
I didn't enjoy it at all , the service isn't good at all and the stuff were very rhude
Everything was perfect and very helpful staff

Had the best time ever at this beautiful place and it was so peaceful. The whole experience was amazing ,the hotel staff were really helpful and friendly.Neither of us are golfers so didn’t make use of the amazing golf facilities. However the rest of the facilities we used were exceptional. Unfortunately because of Ramadan the Mare restaurant was closed but the Dunes and Paloma more than made up for it .The food, drink and service were excellent Thaleem in the Paloma was very attentive and such a nice man.Maged in the dunes was great guy we had a lot of banter with him and he spoke of his family and his job he works hard too. Mohamed the young guy on reception and Silvia were also very helpful and helped us sort out strip to the Civilisation Museum which was good .We had already been to the Pyramids and Sphinx and the new Grande Museum(which is amazing )also visited the Papyrus Museum which was interesting. Apart from that we chilled taking in a Spa and swimming etc . Although the staff were very attentive they did not hassle you . We also spoke to Sean the General Manager of the Westin he just came over and spoke to us when we were chilling in the indoor pool on loungers, what a nice man and very switched on . get in your face all the time.
The location is great, and the staff is friendly. The room was comfortable, and the property is well-maintained with a relaxing yet upscale vibe.
The water took a few minutes to heat up. We had dinner at the empty restaurant in the lobby, but the food was disappointing. The checkout process was excessively long because a staff member had to check the minibar in my room. They didn’t restock or check it during my stay, which should be done daily. At checkout, they should ask if I took anything out of the minibar since yesterday. The entire process took over 15 minutes.
