The interior style, the rooftop restaurant and the room that we booked was brilliant in my opinion. However, I was sure that I had booked a room with a pyramid view and assumed we would have a hot tub in the room, but apart from that, I would absolutely return. Thanks to the staff at Great Pyramid inn!

I would also be slightly alert when leaving the hotel by yourself as you’ll have local vendors hassling you to purchase products.

Nella colazione ci vorrebbe più disponibilità europea, lo sciacquone non si ricaricava e dovevamo attendere molto per ritirarlo, asciugamani indicati come disponibili ma abbiamo dovuto richiederlo non erano gia presenti in camera, telefono per la reception non funzionante.

Definitely the view of the pyramids.

The sliding door in the room to the balcony was very difficult to open, meaning not easy to enjoy the view. There was super loud music in the rooftop restaurant during dinner time. We were made to understand that people came for the music but it was unfair to those who didn’t like it. Also, it made it difficult to hear each other, which meant our order was a little messed up.

Can’t beat the view! The rooms have a nice theme to them to match the pyramids and Egyptian history.

The hotel, although with a great view, is right in front of an active construction site and the workers seem to work only over night so noise pollution can be heavy depending on where your room is booked. The elevator is also too small it only fits 3 at a time so when trying to get to your room you’re also fighting for the elevator against people using it for the restaurant on the top floor which can create a wait.

The location was absolutely amazing, the AC was great, the staff was super friendly, there were always replacing the water bottles, so that was great because July was hot, the rooftop restaurant was absolutely amazing but in my opinion, the dinner experience was a lot better than the breakfast one, the food was delicious, but the breakfast was very minimal and basic

I didn’t like the fact that the shower in my room always splashed water outside the shower bay and it made the floor is really messy so I had to use a lot of towels just to clean it up, some parts of the floors in the room looked a little old, but you’re really not there to nitpick, the room itself with the view was great.

La ubicación es un 10, justo al frente de las pirámides, desde el restaurante del piso 5 el atardecer es bello y los desayunos amenos con la gran vista. Tiene habitaciones con balcón, camas cómodas y buen aire acondicionado. El servicio y atención de todo el personal es excepcional, siempre muy atentos a todos los detalles, el día de nuestro de check out salíamos antes de la apertura del desayuno y nos entregaron una caja de desayuno! Un plus porque como mujer en ningún momento me sentí discriminada o acosada por ninguna persona del staff, cosa que si me ha pasado en otros hoteles de ciudades de Egipto.

Todo estaba muy bien. Solo tener en cuenta que la ubicación es perfecta para quienes van a Cairo con especial interés en estar cerca a las pirámides.. esto hace que quede lejos de casi todo lo demás a excepción del Gran Museo

Vista meravigliosa dalla camera o se si vuole risparmiare dalla terrazza dove si fa la colazione e se i vuole la cena. Cena ottima prezzi nella media di un buon ristorante ma si paga anche la vista meravigliosa

에어컨이 고장난거 아닌가 했습니다. 8월에 실내 온도 28도로 설정해도 너무 추웠어요. 앞에 공사장이 있어 밤 늦게까지 소음에 시달렸습니다.

Поряд іде будівництво, точніше перед готелем і частково вже перекриває Сфінкса. Через шум від будівництва неможливо було спати. На балконі було неприбрано, пісок і пил. Проблеми з водопостачанням, стоїть бойлер.

The hotel is in a very great location to tour the pyramids. Upon our arrival, we checked into our room with a view of the pyramids, offering fabulous views from the balcony.

Upon our arrival, we noticed that the sliding door in our room was not closing, so we informed management and they upgraded us to a very lovely room with a jacuzzi on the balcony.

Gelişim ve 3 kez bu otelde kaldım, diğer kalamayışımın nedeni odalar doluydu yanındaki otelde kaldım ama bu otelin kalitesini temizliğini çalışanların samimiyetini ve sürekli yardımcı olmak için gözlerinin içine bakmaları kesinlikle başka bir otelde bulamadık. Sabah kahvaltıları çeşitli ve lezzetli odaları tertemiz ve geniş. İki günlük rezervasyonlarda ücretsiz havaalanından alıyorlar.

Le personnel à été au petit soin. Nous avons apprécié toutes les petites attentions et on voulait remercier tout particulièrement Georges à la réception très bienveillant et de bon conseil. Nous recommandons sans hésiter cet hôtel. Et la vue depuis la terrasse est incroyable.

Die Lage ist einfach top! Die Terrasse auf dieser Höhe bietet eine richtig entspannte und romantische Atmosphäre mit einem atemberaubenden Blick auf die Pyramiden. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls völlig in Ordnung und das Hotel selbst überzeugt mit seinem wunderschönen, authentischen ägyptischen Stil. Auch alles, was für uns organisiert wurde, war auf einem sehr hohen Niveau und hat einwandfrei funktioniert. Insgesamt ein wirklich tolles Hotel mit einer besonderen Atmosphäre und einem unvergesslichen Blick auf die Pyramiden. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Un séjour inoubliable avec une vue exceptionnelle sur les pyramides 🇪🇬✨ Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Great Pyramid Inn. L’emplacement est tout simplement exceptionnel, avec une vue magnifique sur les pyramides de Gizeh et du Sphinx, notamment depuis le rooftop. Le personnel est très accueillant, souriant et disponible. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le dîner sur le rooftop au coucher du soleil, face aux pyramides : un moment magique et inoubliable ! ❤️ Repas et boissons de qualité. La chambre était agréable avec qui plus est un spa privatif sur la terrasse et l’hôtel idéalement situé pour visiter le site des pyramides. Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésiter pour profiter pleinement de la magie du Caire et des pyramides. 🇪🇬✨

Hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. We stayed 3 nights and also had complimentary airport pickup which was really helpfull after arriving at 2am. The view from rooftop 7000 for breakfast was WOW!! Such a great position infront of the Sphinx and pyramids and right at the entry gate.

Our bathroom was a bit dusty and we had to call for fresh towels because they weren't replaced by house keeping. The tinny little window in our room backed onto what looked like outside storage which didnt feel safe because we weren't sure who has access to that. It looks like the hotel is doing renovations so there was a bit of construction noise. Overall we highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Very disappointing experience at Great Pyramids Inn. The breakfast was poor quality, there was no running water in the room, and the staff service was far from hospitable. Would not recommend.

Disaster so far. Two women traveling alone, hotel never responded to book transfer from airport. It felt quite sketchy trying to figure out a legit taxi driver. Hotel is not as advertised on photos, from street view truly a hole in the wall. Room is small, has a view of pyramids but also faces onto an active construction site that is still going at 9:30 pm. Rooftop patio is nice but very overpriced. 12% hotel charge included and tips expected on top.

The view from my bedroom window was 3 Pyramids and a Sphinx ,you could not have asked for more ,great value ,just for the view in the morning and the breakfast .I was more than happy considering the price ,I arrived late and the staff were great and very helpful.

Je rejoins entièrement le commentaire déjà publié. Malheureusement, mon expérience a été tout aussi décevante. La vue de la chambre ne correspond absolument pas aux photos de Booking et donne sur des habitations délabrées. Le personnel manque d’écoute : À chaque problème signalé, nous n’avons reçu que des excuses, sans qu’aucune solution ne soit apportée. Il nous a même été répondu que si nous n’étions pas satisfaits, d’autres clients viendraient à notre place. Les couloirs, non climatisés, sont malodorants, le Wi-Fi est très lent et instable, et des travaux à proximité de l’hôtel génèrent des nuisances sonores toute la journée, sans que cela ne soit mentionné avant notre arrivée. Le petit-déjeuner est également très décevant : peu de choix, les mêmes produits chaque jour, pas de machine à café, et dès 10 h, de nombreux plats sont vides ou froids alors que le service est annoncé jusqu’à 12 h. Enfin, un point qui nous a particulièrement marqués : lors du séisme survenu pendant notre séjour, personne de l’hôtel n’a pris la peine de nous contacter pour savoir si nous allions bien ou si nous avions besoin d’aide. En revanche, à 12 h précises, nous avons reçu un appel nous demandant de libérer la chambre. Ce manque de considération résume parfaitement l’expérience que nous avons vécue. Je ne recommande pas cet établissement.

Lorsque j'ai demandé une chambre avec une meilleure vue, le gérant m'a répondu de manière très désagréable, avec une attitude qui donnait clairement l'impression qu'il s'en moquait complètement

Mauvaise odeur dans tout l'hôtel, connexion Wi-Fi quasiment inexistante avec des déconnexions toutes les minutes et un débit de téléchargement d'à peine 10 ko/s. Lorsque j'ai signalé le problème à la réception, on m'a simplement répondu que tout fonctionnait normalement.

Nous sommes très déçus par notre séjour. Tout d’abord, la vue ne correspond absolument pas aux photos présentées sur Booking. Au lieu de la vue annoncée, nous donnions sur des maisons dans un état de délabrement avancé, ce qui a été une vraie déception. Le personnel n’est pas à l’écoute et donne clairement l’impression que les clients sont remplaçables. À plusieurs reprises, lorsque nous avons signalé des problèmes, aucune solution n’a été proposée, seulement des excuses. Les couloirs ne sont pas climatisés, ce qui est très désagréable avec la chaleur, et ils dégagent une mauvaise odeur. Le petit-déjeuner est très décevant : très peu de choix et pratiquement les mêmes produits tous les jours. Il n’y a même pas de machine à café. Bien que le service soit annoncé de 7 h à 12 h, dès 10 h, la plupart des plats sont vides ou froids. Lorsque nous avons demandé à ce que les produits soient réapprovisionnés, la seule réponse a été : « Désolé, il n’y en a plus. » Tout au long de la journée, des travaux sont réalisés à proximité de l’hôtel. Les nuisances sonores sont importantes et nuisent au repos ainsi qu’au confort des clients. Il est regrettable de ne pas avoir été informés de ces travaux avant notre arrivée. Enfin, l’entrée de l’hôtel est constamment envahie par une forte odeur provenant des déjections des chameaux et des chevaux présents à proximité, ce qui est particulièrement désagréable. Au vu de cette expérience, nous ne recommandons pas cet établissement.

L’aria condizionata ha smesso di funzionare ed è stata dura…poi per fortuna risolto in tempi ragionevoli. La colazione non eccezionale (e non sempre pronta all’orario di inizio dichiarato..!)

Ottima struttura, posizione molto comoda per visitare le piramidi (di fronte al vecchio ingresso) e non lontana dal nuovo museo egizio. Pulita, personale davvero gentile e disponibile ad ogni richiesta, la colazione a buffet buona e la vista sulle piramidi e sulla sfinge dal ristorante é impagabile. La zona dove si trova l’hotel ha qualche negozietto di souvenir e minimarket, ma del resto non c’é molto altro da fare la sera, ci sono diversi locali sui rooftop nelle vicinanze.

Nulla, unico neo abbiamo selezionato una camera con finestra, ma la finestra era in realtà una piccola finestra che dava su un intercapedine tra due palazzi che non aveva accesso nemmeno all’aperto, era come una zona di scarico dei condizionatori, calda e rumorosa, non la considererei proprio “finestra”.

This hotel does NOT serve alcohol. This isn’t clear on the hotel details. We were disappointed not to be able to enjoy a beer or glass of wine during dinner watching the sunset. There is an alcohol shop located 1.5km from the hotel where you can get a carry out but it’s not the same!

The only issue we had is the ongoing construction project right across from the hotel, and because of the heat during the day work is done at night, but that is not the hotel’s fault.

The view from the balcony was fantastic. Breakfast was good food with a view of the Pyramids. The location is right at the entrance to the pyramids.

The picture shown on booking.com of the room is not the room you get. The picture shows a view of the pyramids from the room. You have to walk down the hallway to the balcony to get the fanastic view. I asked at reception and they said the picture shown is a window view room. My room was dark as there is no window and door.to balcony off to side hallway. But still a great room because of the balcony view.

The location is terrible with all the workers and construction going on right outside in front of the balcony. All the people trying to sell their taxis and rides, etc. I really didn't like the dishonesty of the desk person who told me I would get my refund after cancelling on booking.com since we wanted to leave early. Honestly, I could not leave this place soon enough. I should have been refunded a night stay and later after we were gone, they declined my request. It felt like a total scam. We paid for 3 nights and only stayed 1& half days. We checked out at 11:30 pm to catch flight at 0400. So rightfully I should have been refunded one night stay. Also the man at the desk, I don't think they respect women as he kept trying to talk to my husband although I usually handle things. It just rubbed me wrong. I felt completely ripped off. Not a good experience for a first time visit to Egypt.

Colazione varia e rooftop spettacolare. Il ristorante sulla terrazza fa cibo di qualità; abbiamo mangiato sia le insalate che la pizza; ma anche i piatti unici con la carne erano molto buoni. La zona non permette di fare grandi passeggiate la sera, però il giorno si può tranquillamente uscire.

You can't get any closer to the Giza Plateau than staying at this hotel. We had the best view in the entire place, with the exception of the rooftop restaurant, which was very good, btw. There was plenty of space in our room to spread out, and the expansive covered deck was an amazing place to hang out and stare out at the view of the pyramids and the Sphinx.

Chcielibyśmy bardzo podziękować za świetne przyjęcie nas w hotelu, obsługa na najwyższym poziomie, każdy bardzo miły i pomocny, jedzenie zarówno śniadania jak i kolacja przepyszne, pokoje bardzo fajne, a klimat i widoki niesamowite. Jeszcze raz chciałabym też podziękować Panom z restauracji hotelowej za pomoc w organizacji wczorajszej niespodzianki urodzinowej dla mojego męża! Wcześniej mówiliśmy, że do Gizy jedzie się tylko raz, zobaczyć piramidy na własne oczy, teraz twierdzimy, że chcemy kiedyś wrócić chociażby dla fajnego pobytu w tym hotelu :)

Insane views from the pyramids right from our room. The room is comfortable, the staff is friendly and it’s so convenient that they have an amazing restaurant right on the rooftop. 100% recommended

Since the start, communication was amazing. They confirmed our pick up from the airport to the hotel and Amir showed up on time 10/10. When we arrived, Aladdin welcomed us and told us everything we needed to know. We were able to have a early check in. During our stay, we needed more bottles of water, we went to the reception desk and in under minutes the water was there!! What a great service I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. The rooftop also is very good, amazing views food and service too.

Posizione eccellente, all’ingresso del sito di Giza e terrazza per la colazione/pranzo/cena stupenda, con vista piramidi. Acqua gratis disponibile nel frigo bar e colazione buona e molto variegata. Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente.

Insonorizzazione poco presente nella camera e doccia del bagno molto bella estetica ma poco funzionale.

Location is 100m from the small gate to the pyramid complex which enables to go to Spinx the first thing. Great, firstline, undisturbed view on the pyramids from the Rooftop7000 at any point of the day or night. Exceptional.

Rooms, bathooms: renovated rooms are quite nice. Non renovated rooms are moldy especcially the bathroom. AVOID AT AlL costs booking trips with the hotel. Overpriced, not safe. I’ve booked 2 trips: 1. Camel 2h pyramids sunset through the hotel with Hassan at $135 for 4ppl. A disater. One of the camel got scared twice and caused a security issue with my daugther. I insisted several times with Hassan to go back, requests he ignored. At the end of the of the trip he was not happy with a $20 tip (considering the issues it was probably to much) and virtually verbally forced for a tip of 1600 pounds ($32)). A very, very unpleasant experience and safety issue. 2. Cairo visit booked through the hotel ($430 for 4 ppl). First it is on the higher end of the price range but Sam was good as guide so cannot complain, great visitis ti the mummies in the Civilization museum, Muhamad Ali mosque, and the Bazaar. However in the Bazaar Sam took us to a “trusted”shop with egiptian made artifacts. Overpriced (exactly the same marble items in an official state tourist shop in Luxor we found 2-3 times cheaper, i.e. a plate for 1500 ($30) in Luxor 500 ($10). Imagine my shock after the first handwash (!!!) of the plate, it’s losings its colors feom turqoise to something different (i guess not real marble and probably painted)… I’m sure the guide (Sam) knows well that the shop sells either fake or low quality products. And BTW Sam got a very generous tip as well. To summarize, the hotel (renovated rooms) are nice but AVOID trips booking with the hotel. May be safer with GYG or Viator and do not fall for products in the Bazaar even if advertized as ‘egyptian’.

La camera con idromassaggio e vista piramidi era bellissima. Acqua , the e caffè sempre a disposizione. Colazione sul terrazzo indimenticabile.

Il wifi in camera non funzionava Non c'era il sapone per le mani.Peccato per il cantiere fronte hotel perché gli operai lavorano fino alle 2 di notte e i martelli rovinano il sonno!

Séjour incroyable dans cet hôtel avec une vue magnifique sur les pyramides ! Le personnel est très accueillant, les chambres sont confortables et propres, et le petit-déjeuner face aux pyramides est juste magique. L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter pleinement du site. Une expérience inoubliable, je recommande sans hésitation

.L’hôtel est extrêmement bruyant la nuit, impossible de dormir correctement. De plus, le petit-déjeuner était vraiment de mauvaise qualité, avec très peu de choix.

Personel çok yardımsever. Kendi problemleriymiş gibi ilgileniyorlar. Teras harika. Ama herkes fotograf çekmeye geliyor. Bu sefer sizin manzaramız kapanıyor. Kapıdan çıktıktan 1 dk sonra piramitlerdesiniz

Otelle bir alakası yok ama ortam çok gürültülü.

ピラミッドビュー、テラス付きに2泊しました。とにかくロケーションが最高で３つのピラミッドとスフィンクスがベットに寝転んでいても目の前に見えます。部屋は若干狭いものの清潔で快適です。 屋上レストランの朝食もピラミッドを見ながら贅沢な気分でおいしく食事ができました。 ２泊した場合カイロ空港での無料ピックアップが可能で、お願いしました。飛行機が遅れ到着が夜の１１時過ぎになったにも関わらず運転手さんが待っていてくれて丁寧にホテルまで送っていただきました。

屋上のレストランでのディナーは景色と音楽はすごく良いのですが、料理の味付けに不満が残りました。 スープは塩辛く、イチゴジュースはイチゴジャムを水で薄めたみたいな味でとてもチップを払う気にはなりませんでした。

C’est une expérience exceptionnelle d’avoir cette vue. Avant d’arriver, on a toujours le doute de « et si c’était de loin, de côté… ». Non, on voit chacune des trois grandes pyramides de face et le Sphinx devant. La literie est confortable, le personnel absolument adorable avec nous. On a eau en bouteille illimitée ce qui est très bien. Nous avons même décidé de reprendre une chambre avec vue le dernier jour de notre voyage.

Le wifi est faible, la télé ne marche pas bien et les lumières des travaux en face la nuit. Mais ça ne gâche pas l’expérience.
