Hongkhao Village

Cadre très séduisant avec la piscine entourée d'arbres, les constructions en bois, le calme alentour, l'accueil courtois sans emphase déplacée comme j'ai pu le trouver ailleurs, en un mot, le meilleur hôtel de Chiang Mai sur les 4 ou j'ai logé. Le personnel m'a aidé à organiser un tour sur mesure, le personnel qui s'occupe des chambres et du petit déjeuner est aussi très agréable. La literie offre un bon maintien sans être dure, ma chambre était spacieuse, propre et tout est en très bon état. Petites rues calmes autour de l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner offre l'embarras du choix et de très bo'nne qualité.

L'insonorisation entre chambres nest pas parfaite mais tous les occupants étaient calmes et plus de bruit après 22h et peu avant. Je conseille de prendre le taxi pour étendre le choix de bons restaurants.

Zeer vriendelijke staf, fantastisch ontbijt, heerlijke schone en ruime kamer. Fijn zwembad.

Vloer in de kamer heeft wat slijtage sporen. Omdat het hotel in een duurder segment valt vind ik dit jammer.

Rigtig godt sted lige udenfor Chiang Mai centrum. Dejlige rummelige hytter, skøn pool og den mest fantastiske morgenmadsrestaurant.

Ein liebevoll gestaltetes Paradies, ruhig, grün, gemütlich- für „augenmenschen“…. Ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit allem, was das Herz begehrt. Tolle Speisen (allen voran das Müsli!!!) tolles Geschirr, freundliche Menschen…. Ein wohlfühlort!

The beauty spills from every corner. The jungle around the pool, the decoration of tge room and even the flower topping the breakfast muesly. Abselutely amazing. The room was very comfortable and the whole property was immaculate.

The air conditioner compressor was attached to the wall and was too close, making constant noise

We stayed here as a family of 4 for 3 nights in August. It was a real highlight of our trip to Thailand. The hotel is so peaceful with great size rooms for families and a lovely pool to cool off in. Breakfast was set in a beautiful room and was amazing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Our kids aged 5 & 7 loved it. A grab away from central Chiang Mai but not an issue. Would love to come back one day

La piscina, el entorno natural y la vegetación interior de la piscina y las entradas a las habitaciones. Las habitaciones eran amplias y estaban bien decoradas. Un gran desayuno. Amabilidad del personal y el cuidado que le ponía al trato de los animales. Daba gusto estar allí. Aparcamiento amplio, ubicación no muy lejos del cuadrado del foso del centro de la ciudad.

La manguera de la ducha en el baño era un poco corta y la colocación de los dispensafores de jabón que había que estirarse mucho para llegar (en la pared)

Hongkhao Village is zo’n plek waar je je vanaf het eerste moment welkom voelt. Wat deze accommodatie voor ons echt bijzonder maakte, was de ontzettend lieve en behulpzame manager. Ze deed er alles aan om ons verblijf zo prettig mogelijk te maken en regelde met veel liefde en zorg al onze excursies. Geen vraag was te veel en alles werd tot in de puntjes voor ons geregeld. Ook het overige personeel verdient alle lof. Iedereen was vriendelijk en attent. De medewerkers die het ontbijt verzorgden, zorgden iedere ochtend voor een fijne start van de dag, terwijl de kamers dagelijks met veel zorg werden schoongemaakt. En dan het zwembad… wat een plaatje! Het ligt prachtig verscholen tussen kleurrijke bloemen en weelderig groen. Een perfecte plek om na een dag in Chiang Mai even helemaal tot rust te komen. Hongkhao Village is wat ons betreft een echte aanrader. Niet alleen vanwege de prachtige omgeving en het mooie zwembad, maar vooral vanwege de warme, persoonlijke service waardoor je je er echt een beetje thuis voelt.

Un peu éloigné du centre, mais facile d'accès en taxi rouge pour un prix dérisoire (120 - 200 bath pour 6 personnes).

Ontzettende vriendelijke lieve mensen, alles was heel goed verzorgd en heel schoon, elke dag kwamen ze je kamer schoonmaken. Het ontbijt was heel goed verzorgd met allemaal verse producten. We hebben erg genoten dan hun gastvrijheid, we kregen zelfs nog een klein cadeautje mee. Zeker de moeite waard .

Les proprietaires de l'hotel ont su utiliser tout le potentiel offert par les batiments historiques pour creer un univers authentique, intime, verdoyant et plonge dans les clapotis discrets de l'eau. La piscine est superbe et appreciable aussi bien en journee qu'en soiree. Le petit dejeuner est servi dans un magnifique espace verdoyant, offrant une grande diversite de mets de qualite. L'equipe est extremement professionnelle. Un grand merci a la dame quk nous a accueillis et un grand merci pour avoir garde a l hotel nos sacs quelques jours le temos d'une escapadebde quelques jours dans le nord.

Beautiful setting amidst plants and flowers, lots of decorarive details, great little pool, spacious rooms, wondergul stuff, good breakfast.

The room was lacking somw functional features, like more place for storing clothes, but it did not affect our stay negatively!

Gezellig hotel met zwembad omgeven door groen. Het personeel was heel aardig en gastvrij. Entourage van het ontbijt was ook geweldig. Jammer dat we maar 1 nachtje bleven.

Het was heerlijk. Met de Grab waren de stad en bazaar Anusarn goed te bereiken voor ongeveer 80 Baht. Dat eas goed te doen. Wij vonden het te ver om te lopen.

This is the second time that we’ve stayed here and we already have our third stay booked. This will be our place to come to every year when we come to Chiang Mai. We love it here. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is exceptional. I love the Thai traditional style and peacefulness of the place.

a true gem 20min walk outside of the Old Centre. an oasis of tranquility and green. the rooms are old traditional Lanna style. the details and wood are so beautiful. it’s calm and beautiful here. lovely staff. the breakfast area is one of the most beautiful outdoor rooms I’ve ever seen. it’s like a little jungle. eating breakfast here is like a little fairytale. could have stayed many more nights.

just be aware there is not much around to eat or do but I can assure you that you wouldn’t want to leave anyways :)

We were two couples with two rooms. One on the ground floor near the pool and one on the second floor above the pool and stayed 4 nights. Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful little haven. Each corner of this hotel is thought out and decorated beautifully set in a stunning tropical garden. The rooms are large and have everything you could need. They are serviced each day. There’s a kettle with tea and coffee, a fridge and am a bottle of water everyday. The breakfast was made fresh with lovely fruit yogurt and a choice of breads and eggs. We had a car to travel around as it’s about a 10 min drive to the old town gates. The reception can organize a taxi or tuk tuk for you to get around. We loved our stay and can definitely recommend this place !

The minute you enter you feel calm and like stepping into a spa. The lush greenery, trickling water and friendly staff made the atmosphere amazing. The breakfast was lovely.

Like most hotels, there’s never enough hooks and shelves. It’s a bit of a ways from the night markets but nothing a Grab can’t fix.

Amazing location in a beautiful “oasis” located in Chiang Mai, this instantly felt like home. The staff is so kind and attentive. We were greeted prior to check in with a cool beverage💖 (had to wait for the room to be ready after a rough night in the sleeper train) we were allowed to take a refreshing dip in the pool meanwhile. The laundry service deserves a special shout out. Excellent breakfast too. Thank you so much! Would stay here again in a heartbeat💖🌸

The pool was beautiful, and very welcome after a hot day of sightseeing. The breakfast was very good. Amy, the manager, was super helpful and quick to respond to all our requests. Happy to have chosen Hongkhao for our four nights stay in Chiangmai.

The guests in the neighbouring room were quite noisy and smoking every afternoon/evening. The hotel should have a no-smoking policy. Since there are just a few rooms, it would help if guests were asked to be considerate of others.

Tout était parfait ! Cet un hôtel est vrai havre de paix. L’accueil est très chaleureux et professionnelle. Le personnel est au petit soin. Les chambres sont bien équipés et les petits détails font la différence : brosse à dent jetable et mini dentifrice, petit gâteau pour le goûter. La déco a un côté naturel et est très raffiné. La propreté est au rendez vous La piscine est notre gros coup de cœur. On se baigne dans un vrai jardin tropical 😍 Je recommande à 1000 % !

The resort is an oasis in the bustling city of Chiang Mai. It has been designed with great care and attention to detail. The wonderful greenery, in particular, is a welcome respite after a day out in the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, each featuring a terrace with seating and lounging areas. The pool is large enough for a few laps and a refreshing dip. The staff are very friendly and attentive. However, like us, you need to appreciate the traditional style of the building and shouldn’t expect modern, glossy accommodation. We found it very cosy and lovely.

Unfortunately, the hotel is located in a rather unattractive area just outside the old town. It is possible to walk there, but it’s not very pleasant.

Le cadre est exceptionnel, la végétation luxuriante est soigneusement entretenue. Piscine splendide au centre du jardin. Le personnel est adorable, toujours disponible pour aider sans jamais faire ressentir de pression pour le choix des activités. Possibilité de faire laver son linge pour 80 baths / kilo. Aucun problème pour commander des GRABS pour le transport. Nous avons même profité de l’aide de la dame de l’accueil qui nous a commandé à manger via l’application de 7 eleven. Petit déjeuner complet sûr une magnifique terrasse. Séjour parfait !
