our stay at W hotel was exceptional, specially because of the service, from the time we entered to the time we exited, the hospitality people are always available, me and my brother celebrated our birthdays on 18 August, 2026 together, and we were surprised by the arrangements done at the hotel, rooms were spacious, food was excellent and also the kids room (wee kids) was brilliant with our kids enjoying their time there, shreya from the service team was very helpful and so were many others, i think one lady Lima / leema was also very nice at the kids room, overall a great experience, well done team W, we shall come back soon

W Goa is a fantastic property in a prime location—nestled right near Vagator with beautiful surroundings, lively energy, and easy access to the coast. The rooms are excellent: stylish, spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained with top-tier luxury amenities. What truly elevates the stay is the frontline hospitality team: Chef Nikhil: One of the best personalities on site—exceptional culinary skill and genuine warmth. Ms. Paritha Kundu: The most energetic person on the team, bringing unmatched enthusiasm and wonderful hospitality. Rohan: Attentive, friendly, and went out of his way to ensure we felt well taken care of. Ms. Reshma Gurung: Wonderfully hospitable, kind, and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Unfortunately, our impression of executive management was a sharp contrast. General Manager came across as cold and unapproachable, walking past us several times without a simple greeting or acknowledgment. To make matters worse, we were forced to witness Mr. Nishal openly yelling at staff members right in front of guests—a deeply uncomfortable moment that ruined the relaxed luxury atmosphere. During our stay, a representative from Marriott corporate/management was visiting, and all leadership effort seemed directed toward catering to him rather than paying guests. Which is quite not acceptable from these professionals. To highlight the difference in culture: we later visited the JW Marriott Goa nearby. General Manager Mr. Himanshu was incredible—welcoming, approachable, and truly dedicated to making guests feel valued.

The property has amazing views and location is great.. rooms were neat and well equipped. Breakfast was nice too but the reason for giving the property a five star is the star cordinator we got. Ms. Lima desouza..what an incredible lady !she made our trip memorable. She was there from strt to finish she not only facilitated our needs but she took care of my son like her own.. for many hours I dint even know what was he upto but everytime he returned with lima with a cheerful smile and a gift in his hands. I would return to the hotel specially for her! Further the staff was really amicable everywhere...I strongly recommend the property...

We visited Spice Traders for my birthday with my daughter. The staff and the chef were very accommodating. The chef even helped to create a special dish to suit our daughter's needs. Special shout out to Pem who made our experience much more pleasant and homely. We will definitely visit this place again.

We stayed at W Goa for two days, and we felt genuinely welcomed. The hospitality throughout our stay was exceptional. Rockpool, which offered truly unique experience. Vikram took excellent care of us and ensured everything was perfect throughout the evening. Dinner at Spice Traders was another standout experience. The ambience and stunning views created the perfect setting, and Padmaja made us feel incredibly special with her warm and attentive service. The desserts were a delightful surprise! A special mention to the Chef de Cuisine Kaustubh Bhajbhuje, who personally enquired about our preferences during breakfast and thoughtfully prepared dishes accordingly. The Eggs Benedict was easily one of the best we've ever had. Overall, our stay at W Goa was memorable and we felt taken care of and special. We would love to visit again.

This was our 3rd stay in the hotel within span of 5 years. We came there 1st time @ Feb 18, 2021 to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary with you. 2nd time we came with our big family of around 17 people on August 3rd till 6th 2024 to celebrate our uncle’s 50th birthday. We celebrated the birthday in Sylvia and the people Mr. Rohit Karapurkar, Mr. Rohaan, Ms. Lima D’Souza, the then chef and the entire crew made us feel like some Kings and Queens by serving us with great vigour, heart and spirit of making us the happiest and most comfortable during the entire stay. I had given my feedback then also but the online form reached to one of our brother in law who was in a very bad mood when it reached and didn’t know that an 8 would not come in high level score he gave an 8 but later he regretted too but it was irrevocable. So, please accept a full 10 score for the trip from our side for all the above people. I can go on and on writing about all the details one by one but that would make it very long. The 3rd trip was most recent on 23rd May, 2026 and most different although just one night but filled with enormous fun, enjoyment and warm hospitality. This time people who served us again with the same enthusiasm of making our stay most valued and happy are Mr. Rohit Karapurkar, Mr. Rohaan. They took us again back to the memory lane of our last visit. This time we got especial service again in Sylvia at dinner time by Ms Padmaja who gave us extremely delicious dessert surprise and nice dishes; by Mr Kamlesh who made some amazing drinks for us which we never had before. Ms. Lima tried to meet us but we couldn’t as she was busy but we had a chat over the phone. This time Ms Shami was of great help to us; therapist Ms Elona gave me a superb Kansya therapy and therapist’s name I am forgetting but I received superbly calming complimentary Sound therapy by her in the Spa. Even during breakfast we had few extremely delicious dishes like rabdi jalebi and many many more served quite nicely by the crew of which I am adding photos. “W” is the favorite place of my 7year old son; he started cheering the name of “W” like a cheerleader as soon as I asked him to give some feedback about our stay with you. My son’s feedback is,” We had a wonderful time just in W and loved everything else, W mera sabse achcha jagah hota hai bas!!!” The location is the USP of W especially Rockpool.. we had a blast there enjoying sundowner while soaking and playing in pool. Atmosphere wise “W” always makes you feel like there is no better place than this in terms of hospitality and detailed accommodating crew. Rooms are of nice big size and the view, cleanliness, calming, peaceful, joyful atmosphere justifies the value of energy exchange. We recently stayed at W Goa with our family, and it turned out to be one of the most amazing holiday experiences we’ve ever had. The hotel rooms are extremely spacious, cosy, and beautifully designed. The entire property is stunning, very well maintained, and creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing getaway. What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the warmth and hospitality of the entire team. Every single staff member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and cared for. A very special mention to the wonderful people who truly made our stay unforgettable: • Pritha, our Guest Experience Manager — incredibly warm, attentive, and someone who ensured every little detail was perfectly taken care of. • Chef Nikhil — he prepared some absolutely outstanding meals for us, including several dishes that were not even on the menu. Cleanliness was a bit of a question mark for the rooms but it was very well attempted by the ever so helping staff. In particular would like to mention Mr. Balu Maris who went out of his way to attend to our concerns and get them fixed and resolved instantly

What truly makes this property stand out is not just the location or the vibe it is the people. From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Nikhil went out of his way to ensure everything was smoothly handled for us despite our short-notice arrangements. Prasad from F&B was exceptional ;incredibly attentive and somehow able to remember and engage with so many guests while still making the experience feel personal. Rohan and Mayur at WooBar were outstanding and brought such great energy and warmth to every interaction. Neha at the front office lobby was very friendly. Even after a slightly rocky start during check-in, Austin completely turned the experience around with professionalism and care, and we truly appreciated the effort he put in to make our stay memorable. What impressed us most was the consistency of the hospitality across the property. The team genuinely understands what luxury hospitality means, making guests feel recognised, comfortable, and valued at every touchpoint. It never felt transactional; it felt personal and effortless. We actually regretted not extending our stay here and moving to St Regis afterward. W Goa has set a very high benchmark for hospitality, and we would gladly return again. Highly recommended.

Had gone for a corporate offsite and found the stay to be average. There is nothing much to do within the property except the Rock pool view for Sundowner. They don't have private beach which was a big disappointment as the place becomes crowded. Rooms are too big and spacious and Food along with the daily breakfast spread is excellent.

Overall, my experience was disappointing. However, the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Nikhil, and the food was also good.

The cleanliness of the room was not up to standard and did not meet the expectations of a five-star hotel. The bathroom was also not clean, and the room had an unpleasant smell. In addition, the room rates were quite high for the quality provided. My stay was also affected by a wedding event at the hotel, which caused significant noise and disturbance. However, I appreciate that the staff moved me to another room for my final night, as my stay was only for two nights

Room Design is very Tacky

amazing property. very lush and green and very open while being intimate. Given the heat in the day, getting around the property is with the frequent buggies available on demand. the main building is very well designed with easy access to most facilities. the gym is well equipped with great trainers. the inhouse restaurant served an excellent breakfast spread with a large number of attentive staff who never forgot personal preferences. the service is to die for and approaches the same personalized levels as the Taj. the room was huge with a bathroom which could be a bedroom in a city. Lovely toiletries + amazing pressure made using it a charm. They gave us two rooms keys without asking which kept both of us independent. Wifi worked like a charm Free unlimited water bottles and ice brought within seconds in any location kept us cool. The main pool was never crowded and we always felt comfortable with no children shouting and playing in the pool in the morning and forenoon. The rockpool overlooking the ocean is a bit of a ways off and is more of a club with an amazing view for a sundowner or to dance the night away with amazing DJ services. After a long time, the wife and i were both content to spend our vacation in the resort without feeling the need to step out.

very little- i would mention the following more as tips for guests than negatives- The rockpool was too far to walk and we had to always get a buggy ride to and fro, making us not use it as often as we wanted to. WHile the bathroom was fully modern, the room itself was dated and the rug under the bed was just not good enough for this level of resort. even the floor under the rug was unwashed. the room was huge with west facing wall to wall French windows and hence the cooling was always insufficient during the day. we had to keep the curtains drawn from morning to evening and run the fan over & above the aircon.

Stayed at W Goa from 4th March 2026 for 4 nights. Having spent over three decades at Taj Village Goa (which feels like home), this was a forced change due to unavailability. Check-in was smooth and the team was welcoming — a great start. Unfortunately, the F&B experience fell short. Our first meal was average, and despite a courteous recovery effort by the chef and F&B head, it impacted our confidence enough to skip breakfast the next day. Perhaps we are used to a higher benchmark set by Taj, especially in food and guest relations. A bright spot was the bar service — the staff was warm, attentive, and excellent. Rooms are stylish but overly flashy, and housekeeping needs improvement. Towels had visible stains, which is unacceptable at this price point. Overall, while the property has potential, it does not currently justify the premium pricing — especially when it comes to F&B and service standards. Sharing this as constructive feedback with the hope of improvement.

Our stay at the W with the Rockpool & the WooBar as the central focus was filled with Fun, Flair & A Unique Style often filled with high-energy atmosphere on the cliffs of Vagator Beach, blending the brand's signature lifestyle luxury with vibrant Goan flair. It was the ultimate glitzy glow-up with high-end hangs encompassing some sun, splashes, sundowner with friends against the picturesque Vagator Beach with a swaying Palm Tree reflecting the soft Goan Sun with International DJs and a JetSet crowd to up the tempo. Classy Cocktails at a mesmerizing Sundowner by the Rockpool was full of Fashion, Luxe Vibes & Pamper Parties - The Ultimate Soirée of Spoilage which went well into the late night. She loved the attentive & unhurried service at the Rockpool which catered to her whim and fantasies. After some morning Yoga over the Vagator Beach and some exquisite Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict Royale, it was time for Refined Indulgence & Elevated Leisure for Couture comfort & soft self-care at the Pompeii inspired Away Spa. An Experience at Practicing The Art of Susegado at The W Goa - Pure Bliss

The grounds are stunning. We had booked the Spectacular Room (plus extra bed) for us and our two kids and it seemed reasonably spacious when we arrived. We then transferred to a Garden Villa which was absolutely wonderful. The staff is super nice and personable, they really tried to accommodate our every wish (Japson, Nilesh, Nikhil etc). The breakfast buffet and other meals we had at the Kitchen Table were excellent, the snacks at the Rock Pool were also yummy (though a bit more greasy than we'd like them to be).

We stayed during the Indian wedding season, I guess, so several parts of the hotel were not available to us due to some wedding functions taking place there or being set up. Since our initial room was between the courtyard & pool and some functions took place exactly in those two places, it became unbearably noisy for our family. We were ready to move out of the hotel since we also couldn't use either of the pools - when they transferred us to the Garden Villa. After that, our stay was very nice, but without that, I think we would have been really miserable and wondering what we paid all that money for. Overall, the hotel doesn't strike me as very family-friendly in comparison to other 5-star ones. It would be nice to have at least a little bit of infrastructure at the beach.

We actually had plans to celebrate my birthday in Bangkok this year, but at the last moment we changed our minds and came back to W Goa. The reason was simple the experience we had here earlier had stayed with us. Two years ago, during our first birthday stay at W Goa, we met Lima, who was our stay ambassador. She had made that birthday incredibly special with the little things she arranged from the Rock Pool sundowner celebration with cake and champagne to the beautiful birthday décor waiting for me in the room. Those thoughtful moments stayed in our memories long after the trip ended. So when my birthday came around again this year, coming back here just felt right. This time too, Lima managed everything so thoughtfully. She had even cancelled her own trip with friends when she heard I was coming because she wanted to personally manage my stay again. That really touched me. From the birthday welcome to planning little experiences during the stay everything flowed beautifully. One of my favourite moments was the pickleball session with Raman Sood, which was such a fun way to start the day. There are thoughtful touches everywhere, little surprises, and a team that genuinely pays attention to what makes guests happy. It feels like the whole place works with one simple intention: to make your stay memorable enough that you want to come back. And honestly, it works - because we did. My room Chalet 16 with its beach view and private garden was stunning. I loved my quiet beach time, the evenings at Rock Pool, the food from the chefs, the bartenders, and the warmth from everyone around the property from the restaurant teams to the shuttle staff. Luxury hotels can give you beautiful rooms and views, but it's the people who make a place special. And that's exactly why we came back to W Goa.

We had a disappointing start to our evening at W Goa after booking a sunset dinner at Rockpool directly through the hotel. The reservation had been accepted and even reconfirmed the day before, so it was frustrating to arrive and be told the venue was closed for a private event. Had we known in advance, we would have made alternative sunset plans elsewhere rather than scrambling at the last minute and ending up watching the sunset from the crowded public beach. The situation was made more uncomfortable when the security guard took my husband’s phone from his hand without asking in order to speak with a colleague about the reservation, and later did the same with his ID card. This felt inappropriate and poorly handled. To their credit, the hotel manager did try to recover the situation by offering us dinner at Spice instead, along with a complimentary cocktail, which was appreciated. Spice itself deserves 5 stars. The food was genuinely excellent, service was attentive, and the team handled food allergies very well. The decor is nice and the restaurant is a hidden gem for Chinese food in Goa. The only downside was that the ambience felt slightly flat as there was no background music and the air con was quite cold, but overall the quality of the food made up for it. Overall, I am giving 3 stars due to the poor handling of the original Rockpool reservation, although the dining experience at Spice was very good in the end.

We booked long weekend at this property The garden view Villa they gave us had a beautiful garden in front and a nice sit out facing the garden where we enjoyed our morning tea The outstanding feature of this property is their rock pool bar overlooking the vagator beach, on two evenings we enjoyed the ocean view over drinks and watching the sunset, the vibe there is truly amazing, Like to mention that we had a most efficient Resort Experience Manager Pritha assigned to us who looked after our needs and was guiding us through the stay for anything we needed, she also suggested these two places for dinner Kiki by the Sea and Bastian Reviera , Bastian was truly amazing again located on the banks of the Mandovi River, we want to thank Pritha for making our trip so enjoyable and going beyond her call of duty

We visited W Goa for our 10th Anniversary.This trip has nothing but deeply rooted some beautiful memories in our heart forever.We were welcomed with a beautiful warm smile from Pritika, who's hospitality would make you feel how about "welcome us once again please 😊".Any and every assistance is brought to you with "homely greet and smile"!The property is nothing but a nature retreat as the property is on the hill top which allows to have a top view of the sea from the place called"Rock Pool".The property is encircled with lush green lawn(for a barefoot walk),birds chirping (as your alarm clock),wide variety of flowers (as natural fragrance which is one of the best healing therapy).Coming to the vital part of any vacation is the food.The Kitchen tables restaurant is nothing but a sanctuary for getting a terrible food coma.Specially with wholehearted service from each chef like Amol chef who is a culinary artist,made sure each time we need any customized foor for our kid is served on our table with a perfect plating and "what a delicious taste".A must try in W Goa is Nepolitian Pizza made by Chef Rupam.Asian made by Jessica is definitely"Not to be forgotten ".Then comes Sweetest treat from amiable Samruddhi.Then comes the goan Thali made by Chef Guru who's the"Whiz in the kitchen"..coming to Goa and having goan thali with such expertise makes it a deadly combination.Surmai rava fry,goan curries all are a must try.This is all possible due to Master Chef Kaustubh, under his supervision all getting possible.Talking about the kitchen table chef de rang(server staff),Reshma and Tushar have made sure you are just over pampered with all the love and care.Nancy stops by with an infectious smile and some delicacy from the house making it even more special as it was our anniversary.

We're thrilled to be back at this exquisite property, beautifully crafted within the historic Chopra Fort. The rooms are impeccably maintained, spacious, and feature cozy beds with delightful amenities. The breakfast spread is impressive, and we particularly relished the Philadelphia cheesecake - a treat we even took away to enjoy later! The rock pool offers breathtaking views, making it a perfect spot to unwind. While the rates may be on the higher side, the luxury experience justifies the spend, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing 2-night getaway.

‘W’means wow ! property is well designed ,beautiful and maintained Everything from checkin to checkout was very well managed by w team and well done Luckily got upgrade also at w They have rockpool bar which is open bar and restaurant and amazing view of sea ,i will recommend atleast one evening should be kept for rockpool to enjoy amazing drinks with scenic view There are so many staff members who went out of the way to serve us and i would say that W is wow experience for me and my friends

It’s old needs renovation in a lot of places our bathroom door dint shut and when we called for help they said it can’t be fixed ! And few other things need to be updated!

Property was in an amazing location with fabulous grounds. Absolutely spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely. Very friendly and went above and beyond. Especially Janet from front reception, she looked after us amazingly.

During our entire stay, the staff were absolutely outstanding. They consistently went above and beyond to meet our needs. Nikhil was fantastic, offering excellent recommendations for nightclubs, dining, and sunset spots. Anil and Damodar were superb at helping us navigate the resort. The Spa and Hair Salon teams delivered top-notch VIP treatment and took their time with us. Sahil crafted great drinks during happy hour. The Rock Pool staff were highly attentive, ensuring we had drinks and food while we relaxed in the pool. Finally, the breakfast team was exceptional and ensured we received our meals promptly. Overall, this was by far the best vacation we’ve ever had!!!

The Chef at the Kitchen Table Dining Area was very Helpful and Met our Expectations. Moreover the entire Staff of the Dining Area was helpful and Polite and Co-opreative.

We really had a bad experience with W Goa we had booked 04 rooms at W Goa from 31 Jan to 02 Geb 2026 and was informed that our booking has been cancelled as they need to accommodate some corporate group despite of paying 100 percent advance payment. We have booked 03 rooms in W Goa from 31st to 2nd January..at last minute they have cancelled our booking citing a buy out situation inspite of me doing the full payment a month in advance..never expected such cheap tactics from a hotel of W stature.All our plans have got changed due to hotel’s greed and no respect for an individual’s time and effort Girish 9650208191

We had a very mixed experience with W Goa, and I’m updating this after a second visit. Our first visit was genuinely disappointing. We had called in advance to check pool access for non-residents, but on arrival there was confusion at reception, inconsistent information on pricing, and we were even sent to the wrong place to make payment. At the pool, a manager insisted on a substantial cover charge simply for us to sit at the bar surrounding the pool while our children swam — something that had never been disclosed earlier. What bothered us was not the idea of spending, but the lack of judgment and hospitality. We were very clear we were not looking for a freebie; we were simply surprised by how rigid and transactional the interaction was, especially given we were with very elderly parents and young children. The attitude was dismissive rather than solution-oriented, ending with “the best I can do is reduce it,” instead of any attempt to assess the situation and be hospitable. Before leaving, we shared this feedback at reception and left our contact details. To W Goa’s credit, they reached out proactively. The Director of Quality called us, acknowledged that the experience had not met their standards, and very graciously invited us back. On our return, the experience was completely different. We were hosted for lunch, the staff were warm, attentive, and helpful throughout, our children were welcomed to use the pool without any issue, and the Director of Quality personally took the time to walk us around the property and look after us. The effort, care, and professionalism shown were excellent. The contrast between the two experiences was striking. The first highlighted a gap in on-ground judgment and service culture. The second reflected strong leadership, ownership, and what hospitality should feel like. Credit where it’s due: the Director of Quality was clearly empowered by senior leadership to pull out all stops and correct the mistake. That level of ownership is what ultimately defines true hospitality.

We had an absolutely incredible experience at the W Goa! The staff, especially Nikhil, were beyond friendly, so helpful and truly made our experience a memorable one! Even before we left for our trip, Nikhil answered our questions quickly and provided us excellent recommendations to make our vacation super enjoyable! After multiple long flights from America to Goa, we were very warmly welcomed by the whole team at the W and instantly became reenergized and excited to explore their beautiful property. We took full advantage of the full property: the rock pool (which has gorgeous sunset and sunrise views!), the incredible kids zone (the staff were so attentive to our kids so much that our kids never wanted to leave), and the spa (oh my gosh -- Sarah works miracules on tired muscles)! We would definitely return to this property, and a huge thank you to all of the staff for making our stay so wonderful!

We only stayed one night here for New Year’s Eve which included their NYE party. The hotel was nice but I personally believe overpriced for what it offers. We paid over £600 for one night. I found some of the areas of the hotel quite tired and needing attention eg outdoor seating at the bar needing paint work etc. The room was impressive! Wow. It was loud and inviting with lots of space. A huge bathroom, lovely views, balcony, it was great. That said, we couldn’t make the curtains open with the buttons and for such a huge bathroom, the toilet should be bigger so you can get in and out without having to stand to the side of the toilet! We found service was very slow. We waited over an hour for a portion of fries which were forgotten once and then over 30m for a round of 4 of the same cocktails. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had anywhere! Incredible selection and lovely additions of things being brought round ad hoc too. The spa was stunning. We used it to change, store our bags and had a hair appointment. But we also went to look around and so the pool was lovely! The main pool was nice. Quite cold at this time of year and oddly only 8 sunbeds for the whole hotel it seemed? Apparently there is another pool and more beds at ‘rock pool’ but it was closed for us as they were setting up the party so not sure what’s usually there. The party itself was very good. Loads of food, drink, well organised, lots of fun! Well done to the organisers.

We stayes at the property expecting a premier luxury experience akin to St Regis or Taj, as the price point of the property was certainly on par with the same. Though the hotel grounds are pretty, and the room layout are the plus points of this resort, what’s lacking is the service. Ground level staff, particularly in dining services are not guided well, and the issue seems to be at the management level. Though there are several staff members standing, none know what their role is. We found one of the property restaurants closed without notice - we purchased a premier package with dining options included at Spice restaurant which was not available. Management seem unaware of options, and we couldn’t avail the services we purchased. On another incident, we waited for over 45 minutes for our meal and finally left. We were then asked to purchase a card for a meal at another restaurant by staff who didn’t know that hotel guests could charge to their room. Overall poor management and flow by staff who were misguided. The hotel room was kept well, and room staff was attentive. Phone again was broken in our room, and took some time to correct. Concierge was curt in her responses and not particularly hospitable or attentive. Would arrive late after a chosen time, and finally suggested we stay at St Regis- seem more poor form to recommend another property than to try and assist to our tastes. Though most issues were nuanced, for a luxury resort, simply did not hold upto our expectations. Comparable properties like Taj, or Hilton would offer more predictable hospitality.
