The lobby smelled and the fourth floor smelled in the hallway. I didn't even stay the 2nd night. My room odor was normal but the other areas smelled like bo or mildew. The grout in our bathroom needs fixed.

The room is huge, two TVs which is amazing with kids and the staff is super sweet.

They charged my room twice causing us to have to leave without doing anything else we had plan bc they said they needed a pin? That still was never entered upon arriving after already charging me the first time through booking. The second is the ac unit is not big enough to handle Texas heat along with the size of the room and there are no vents at all to circulate it. We have been up all night sweating.

I had a very disappointing experience at this La Quinta hotel. After checking in, we dropped off our bags, went out to run a few errands, and then had dinner. When we returned to our room that evening, we immediately noticed that the air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The noise was constant and made it very difficult to relax, let alone sleep. I contacted the front desk and spoke with Mayra, who told me there was nothing they could do. I tried to tolerate the noise and get some rest, but it became impossible. I later requested to be moved to another room, but was told the hotel was completely full. Based on the circumstances, I did not feel that I was being given an honest effort to resolve the issue. By approximately 11:30 p.m., after several unsuccessful attempts to deal with the situation, we decided to leave the hotel and find another place to stay for the night. Considering that I had to work the following day, the last thing I wanted was to move hotels in the middle of the night, but the room conditions left us with no other reasonable option. Later, I received a call from Manager Reyna Trujillo, who informed me that they had determined there was nothing wrong with the air conditioning unit and that no other guests had complained about it. I found this response dismissive and unprofessional. Just because other guests may not have complained does not mean the issue did not exist. I had already reported the problem earlier in the evening and requested assistance, yet no meaningful accommodation was offered. What was most frustrating was feeling as though my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. If the issue was not real, why would we voluntarily leave the hotel late at night and pay for another hotel just to get some sleep? Customer service is about listening to guests and trying to find solutions. Unfortunately, neither Mayra nor Reyna demonstrated that level of professionalism or concern. Booking.com caused me and the hotel a lot of trouble. I will not be using Bookiing.com again as they owe me money but do not recognize the problem The hotel was fine. Booking. com is not. This will probably never be seen.

Area and service

I was attacked and eaten up my bed bugs in the middle of the night. I had to be rushed to the hospital and they found bed bugs in my bed the same night. The staff handled it immediately as soon as they found them and stripped down our room. Unfortunately it was at 4:00 a.m.. after we were in town for the circus Soleil, it was just a horrible experience to drag my family through in the middle of the night out of town. Two-time NASCAR cup series champion Kyle Busch has died. He was 41. Oh my God

5 Stars for La Quinta Inn & Suites! Great location, amazing staff, delicious breakfast, and very clean rooms! As Grand Prairie residents supporting our local businesses, we celebrated my husband’s “Born in ’63” 63rd Birthday weekend and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was conveniently located near all of our fun activities including Poker Palace, Texas Roadhouse, and Texas Trust CU Theatre. A special thank you to Rena, the Property Manager, who was absolutely amazing! She helped make our visit extra special with her kindness, professionalism, and hospitality. Everything about the stay was comfortable, welcoming, and enjoyable. We will definitely stay again and highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the area!

There's only one thing I didn't like and it's nothing really,but like ice cream was crazy pricy. I also know that's just the way it is now days, everywhere.

I stayed at this property Jan 24-25, 2026 Room 224. Cindy checked me in on this record frigid night. All was well and I slept comfortably. The breakfast was ok. Jazmin checked me out the next morning. Stay was fine and I would stay here again.

Elevator not working

There was 1 elevator that worked all week. Wait time to go up and down was longer than expected. The hotel has a very nasty plastic type smell. The gym equipment is damaged with missing pieces.
