Perfect location: Right in the heart of the Medina at Place de la Victoire. Stunning decor: Amazing traditional style with fascinating history as the former British Embassy. Great comfort: Extremely comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep during our 1-night stay. Excellent service: Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout.

Missing amenities: No hairdryer available in the room. Limited facilities: Rooftop area was temporarily closed for maintenance. Noise notice: Very close to the mosque. The call to prayer is beautiful to hear, but less ideal at 4:00 AM if you are a light sleeper.

Das Hotel liegt zentral, absolut empfehlenswert, kein einziger Kritikpunkt. Schönes Hotel im tunesischen Stil.

Tutto, struttura molto bella architettura particolare, staff super gentile e disponibile sono sempre stati di grande aiuto in ogni situazione e poi hotel molto centrale posizione ottima dentro la Medina

Direi nulla solo forse la colazione dovrebbe essere un po’ più varia, con succhi di frutta, ma i croissant erano buoni

La décoration typique est juste magnifique . C’est une parenthèse magique dans un hôtel vraiment unique. Sa proximité avec le souk, mais également avec beaucoup de restaurant est très appréciable. L’équipe est très serviable et agréable. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et varié. Nous sommes ravies de notre séjour. Merci à Lotfi.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Victoria Hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting downtown Tunis. The location is perfect—right next to the entrance of the Medina and within walking distance of all the main sights. The hotel is full of charm, with beautiful historic architecture, spotless rooms, and excellent value for money. The staff truly made the experience. Everyone was incredibly kind and welcoming, from the lovely woman at breakfast to the reception team and cleaning staff.

موقع ممتاز، وطاقم رائع ومتعاون جدا، اقترح الاهتمام بتحسين جودة الطعام، الديكور والتصميم عربي كلاسيكي، بمجرد الوصول للفندق تشعر بالحياة والحركة

كل شيئ كان رائع باستثناء صغر مساحة اللوبي، وهذا طبيعي بسبب القيمة التاريخية للمبنى والذي لم يشيد كفندق، لا يتوفر نادي صحي او بركة سباحة

The breakfast was good for the value. The receptionist (Lotfi) and the staff was very kind and supportive.

This hotel is the very definition of camp. The decor is so far over the top it borders on the psychedelic. I aopred the detail work in the bathroom, on the ceiling, in the hallways - everywhere. My husband would have preferred a Marriott and if that's your style you probably won't love the Royal Victoria- Ex British Embassy (even the full name !) BUT if you want a fantasy of Tunis at the very entrance to the Medina you will fall in love with the place

not very clean. and i hate it that they made their staff stand every time you enter the hotel. their staff were very kind and helpful though.

Charming building where you can still feel its history. The position is very strategical.

The location is absolutely unbeatable.

It was fairly clean, but maybe it was just slightly rushed due to our very early check-in, which was gracefully fulfilled.

The construction of the hotel is beautiful. Authentically antique and you cannot take a bad photograph. This is what appeal to me when I booked. The wait staff in the kitchen at breakfast were charming women That is all true. I also booked it because listing stated it had air-conditioning. It did not. It may have it in the dead of Summer, but in the middle of May, it was plenty hot and my room was very uncomfortable. Additionally, although I like the staff, someone LAUGHED at me when I said I was hot. He said look at how nice it is outside ( that was at night) and I said yes, but I can’t sleep outdoors and my room is hot. I also can’t open the windows at night because of noise and no screens. The only chair was stained .The bed felt like cardboard. The pillows were awful.. bathroom grout is ridiculous. The place needs a lot of maintenance.

Great location edge of medina. Good value for money and interesting decor as the pics show

All was as expected.

Property is in good location. Right at entrance of Medina. Love the patio and the view. Hotel looks just like the pictures.

Bathroom door would not close completely. No microwave. Breakfast was not that good. Flies were all around the food because the door was kept open to the restaurant. One of the breakfast cooks could not speak English so my Tunisian husband had to translate for me. Also takes a while for the air conditioning to work in room.

الاثاث قديم جدا .. ماء الحمام يسيل حتى نصف غرفة النوم .. دش الشاور تعبان جداً ولا يصلح ابدا .. الفرش يحتاج أن يكون جديد ونظيف ويليق بالسواح

Because of it's locational on the main square it not noisy at night until the young people stopped playing socceer. It ceased at about 10:30 however.

Tunis is dirty especially in this area but we were disappointed by the big cockroach that came inside the restaurant from the square

La ubicación fue muy buena y el personal de front desk durante el dia muy amable

El desayuno muy pobre y la señora que estaba a cargo muy poco cortes. La ducha no se sostenía en altura, muy incomodo ducharse.

L'emplacement a l'entrée de la médina, très appréciable , car tout peut ce faire à pied. L’hôtel à beaucoup de charme, Bien entretenu. Niveau de bruit très acceptable malgré la médina sous les fenêtres.

Juste un léger bémol pas bien grave, mais si j'avais eu dans la chambre a disposition une bouilloire avec un peu de thé cela aurait été parfait !

This place looks really grand from outside, and then you come in and its still quite grand. However there was a very uncomfy bed, I had a room facing straght out onto the square which was great - but there was no chair to sit on on the balcony which was a shame. For some unknown reason at 4am someone from the cafe bellow started to rearrange tables and chairs - metal on stone floor, not just one chair, it went on for ages. I had taken advantage of the decent weather and had my doors open, but I had to shut them and put on the A/C instead which I don't like to do. I could still hear the chairs being moved. Breakfast was quite plentiful but really basic and the food had been out for ages, probably one of the worst quality breakfast I had in 4 weeks of travelling North Africa.

La posizione centralissima ha i suoi pro e i suoi contro. I contro si amplificano se hai una macchina a noleggio (in quel caso consiglio i parcheggi privati e non in strada: il rischio multa con ganascia/truffa è alto). Non dipende chiaramente dall'hotel, che specifica di non avere parcheggi in struttura, però consiglio di pianificare bene le attività se si viaggia in macchina

Great customer service. We left some stuff in tje room and they guarded it for us and returned it later when we were back in Tunis. That is great service. The place is in the perfect location. Very clean. Very cool place
